441  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: November 08, 2022, 06:13:55 PM
A lot of poker game tournaments have been announced on this board over time, and am I kind of wondering what makes poker games so inclined to the tournament and we don't see such competitions being announced for other games?

The reason is simple. Poker is a game that is perfectly suited for tournaments and given that there are millions and millions of players around the world it is normal to find a lot of Poker tournaments in different operators. Moreover, Poker is perhaps the game that you will most of the times find in any casino and due to the seeh number of players operators can earn a lot from tournaments.
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sports and entertainment industries could play a big role in Bitcoin adoption. on: November 07, 2022, 08:50:53 PM
I have long been having a thought over this. The sports and entertainment industries gets more attention to themselves unlike other industries. I believe also that they have or share fans that are into blockchain as well. If these two industries looks into blockchain I believe there would be a strong massive adoption as a result of their total engagement with their fans if they constantly accept Bitcoin payment for their shows and events. Like some clubs already doing this and the response is welcoming.

If musicians do follow same step, I think there would be massive adoption as most of them are Bitcoin informed and  inclined. Artists could help spread the move on Bitcoin adoption.

Do you think this would be realized if it is given attention to.

It seems that you didn't get the story right. Sports and entertainment have been helping Bitcoin for almost 10 years now. In sports, several initiatives have been done since as back as 2014 and today many Soccer teams in Europe already got into the NFT business.  In entertainment, famous country Singer Tatiana Moroz started its own crypto back in 2013. You can hear a lot about it over at Let's Talk Bitcoin. Today, you have a lot of musicians and other popular artists adopting and supporting Bitcoin and the number is growing by the day.

443  Economy / Gambling discussion / The History of Bingo on: November 07, 2022, 08:21:33 PM
The History of BINGO

Bingo is one of the most well-known forms of gambling that can be found all over the world. It is actually very popular among older people in my country and usually has a place of its own, but it can also be found in almost any casino.

It is said to have been brought up in Italy around 1530 as a form of Lottery and was called   “Il Gioco del Lotto d’Italia”. Furthermore, it was later exported to France, where it grew to become one of the most favourite games of the French aristocracy.

It was much later named "Bingo" in the US, when it hit the spotlight over there. You can read more about Bingo here
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 07, 2022, 08:00:05 PM
Hi all - so I have been playing at smaller crypto casino for a few years now. They have a TRX site and a USDT site. I have always played at the TRX site and have always had no issues with withdrawals etc. (Largest was around $26K USD)

I've started playing the USDT side recently and a week ago won $128K USD playing a few different Habanero and CQ9 games. I am waiting just over a week now with the casino telling me they are waiting for a verification report from the game provider and then they'll release my funds.

Not gonna lie I am getting worried and wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience or may have some insight. Thanks in advance!!

You should at least give us a name and warn others.

You know that they normally do not like bad advertising.  So, in case they keep stalling and do not let you withdraw your funds, you should start harassing them over their social networks.  And if possible, have a well-written article telling what is happening to post around. At least this was how I worked my issue out when it happened to me...
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation really inevitable? on: November 07, 2022, 06:32:12 PM
Regulation is innevitable unfortunately. One way or another there has to be regulation otherewise the state intervention will be a lot worst. The thing is that the real problem is that while regulation is needed to protect the inerest of consumers, it also needs to be applied with moderation so that it not stifles the development of the technology.

From what we have seen with the ethereum network, regulation takes us back to centralization which is exactly what we have to fight against. Regulation is more like a hindrance to the development of the tech than it does any good.

448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is centralized, can we trust it anymore? on: November 06, 2022, 08:31:43 PM
We all know ethereum merge of PoW to PoS happened recently which reduced the transaction fee a lot but it become more centralized than before so what is going to be the future of ethereum?
It can be trusted and still it is good for investment?

The Eth Switch was basically a 51% attack. There is no other way to say it. Once it became POS, the network went centralized and under total regulatory scrutiny. For these reasons, it is not a trustable network anymore, but when it comes to investment, there is still a lot of potential on it.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / The History of Baccarat on: November 06, 2022, 04:11:10 PM
The History of Baccarat

The history of Baccarat is still quite debatable today. It is said to have originated in Italy in medieval times, around 1400. Its invention is attributed to Felix Falguiere aka Falguierein who initially named the game "Baccara".

Baccara, stands for zero in Italian and this has to do with the way you play the game as many cards have the value of 0. It later evolved to have three different versions known as "punto banco, chemmy and baccarat banque".

From Italy the game is said to have been brought to France where it conquered the joy of King Charles VIII and since then it was adopted by the French aristocracy. Today, Baccarat is one of the most popular casino games in the world.

452  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 11:31:00 AM
Hi well we are in the process of opening a crypto casino and sportsbook we hope is ready in one month

Some features of our casino / sportsbook:
1) 100% anonymous we are never going to ask you for any personal info or KYC BS it doesn't matter the amount
2) we are also going to have a live casino
3) we are going to accept privacy coins like XMR
4) You can place bets over the phone 24/7
5) Is going to be available worldwide

what else should we add?

Let us know Smiley

I guess that we are missing Sports Bet Trading in the Crypto casino sector. All those features are great yeah which proves your team is on a good track. However, having a casino Website that offered players the chance of Sports bet Trading features much like Betfair has would be a must. Could you guys consider adding this option?

If you by any chance decide to add this sort of feature I will definitely use your casino.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Solana going Big??? on: November 05, 2022, 10:29:39 PM
It looks like Solana found a strong partner. News going around saying Google cloud is a new validator for the Solana network. Apart from this, Google Cloud is also bringing Blockchain Node Engine to Solana. The Blockchain Node Engine (BNE) was formerly focused on Ethereum but is now widening its range onto the Solana ecosystem.

This is great news for Solana supporters as it proves the project might have a bright future ahead.

454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN VS LANDED PROPERTY on: November 05, 2022, 07:57:31 PM

Will you sell Bitcoin to buy a land or sell a land to buy Bitcoin?
What would you rather invest in?

I'm a strong advocate of Bitcoin, but one of my goals is to buy land with Bitcoin. My plan is to have both, as I believe they relate to one another in the sense that one Bitcoin will always be one Bitcoin and a plot of land will always be a plot of land, so you should have both and you should also have Gold.

Much like Bitcoin, a plot of Land will always increase in value. But, it is more resistant to inflation and can provide you with goods and a place to grow food. Bitcoin on the other hand allows you to escape the current and mainstream dependency on banks and protect your money against state censorship. Both have their virtues and their downsides. As the old saying goes, a good investor always tries to have a diversified portfolio, and having these two is crucial.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Web 3.0 have a future? on: November 05, 2022, 07:04:14 PM
I do think that Web3 is where we are headed. IMHO it can work both ways. On the one hand, as we saw with Eth and switch, censorship has overrun the space and decentralization is becoming more like a mith. On the other hand, it can also be used for applications that can be developed under decentralized networks rather than using the Eth network.

Unfortunately, the web3 space is being mainly developed under the Eth network which in a sense is just paving the way for CBDCs to come into stage.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 05, 2022, 03:51:02 PM

What is your opinion ?

IMHO, those who truly believe in Satoshi Nakamoto's work do not have the need to know who he is. Moreover, they do not even want nor have any interest in finding who he is. A true believer already knows that if by any chance his true identity is revealed to the world, his life will be at risk. The most probable outcome would be that the feds would immediately hunt them down.

Actually, the only reason we know that Craig Wright is not the true Nakamoto is that the feds did not run him over...
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SOCCER TIPS for the Weekend! on: November 05, 2022, 03:16:56 PM
It will be better if you can provide the odds of each selection and maybe a total odds if you make all into a parlay bet.
Also, once all the bets are settled, you can update your own tip so we can see your statistic.
It is very common thing done by most other tipsters, good stats will make you popular and maybe there will be a chance for you to be paid tipster in the future.
One more thing, we are in November already but you write "10" which refers to October.  Cheesy Cheesy

The thing here is that I'm not looking for the best odds (or, I'm looking for the best odds at different betting operators for this specific bet), rather I'm looking to find the most probable outcome and still make some money out of it, so in a sense, the odds don't matter that much...

The final goal is to increase my Bankroll.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SOCCER TIPS for the Weekend! on: November 05, 2022, 03:14:04 PM
We know, the English Premier League is a hot league right now, but why do you only have 1 bet on that league? How about 1 game today, what is the right bet for Fulham vs City. City are the big favourites but betting on the money line on City isn't that exciting, so what's your advice?

In addition to the Manchester club presenting an absolutely incredible squad, it still faces an “enemy” that presents some weaknesses in all processes. It is important to note that Manchester City has a difficult game in the middle of the week, against Chelsea, counting for the FA Cup, that is, they should want to gain a good advantage to then manage.

Given that,

The most likely scenario for this match will be Manchester City winning at half-time.
459  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Obituaries on: November 05, 2022, 02:27:37 PM
From what history has been telling us, Bitcoin has died hundreds of times. In fact, it was deemed to be born dead but it is still alive and kicking.

For me it has always been, when the "Bitcoin is Dead" FUD is reaching its highest peak, is the time to buy. This, for me, is one of the best signs you can get!

Always remember, after a Big storm, there is always a period of Bonanza.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 05, 2022, 01:46:37 PM
Here's my prediction for today's Bremen - Schalke 04 game

The most likely scenario for this match will be the occurrence of some goals. It is true that a match controlled by the hosts is expected, however, Schalke 04 urgently need to add the three points. Thus, a well-played game with opportunities close to both goals is expected, making risking in favour of the ''More 2.5 Goals'' market a good option.
