441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: August 03, 2018, 07:33:54 AM
OP, you are one of the most courageous I have seen in this space. I mean the courage to hold despite seeing your investment reduce that much. That is why it is not a good idea to invest all your life savings into crypto, so that whenever you are in need of cash, it won't be necessary for you to be into rush of selling any of your coins. Most times, I prefer to sell conveniently at the price that suits me. Indeed crypto needs a lot of patience and courage.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: August 02, 2018, 11:26:36 PM
The safety of your money in crypto depends how you handle it. In order to totally prevent hackers from hacking into your wallet, evry one is advised to use hadware wallet. The us of hardware wallet guarantees ! safety of your fund, except you give your hardware wallet details to another person.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: August 02, 2018, 11:26:03 PM
Most coins in the top 100 are established already. For most of them, long term hold is much better. Although, there are times you have to sell high and by low. When you do this, apart from being in profit, you tend to have more of the tokens.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN CRYPTO on: July 29, 2018, 10:59:17 PM
Have you tried to look into investing in ICO. Apart fro that, you can also talk to some of these ICO and try to provide them a service, that will help to promote their project.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -=What Should We Do Before Investing In ICOs=- on: July 29, 2018, 10:57:26 PM
The info is comprehensive, it will be helpful to some, both those intending and to those who have started investing and whished to know more. The first thing that should come to every investor's mind is to do his own research.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: July 29, 2018, 10:54:18 PM
Well, i won't deny that fact, classifying ethereum as the king of all ICO, because it is the most used and still in use by most ICO. I have see two different projects used the platform of Stellar, which are Flipnik and Glitzcoin. I think GlitzKoin was responsible for the mooning of XLM for some days now. I have also seek a project called Spotcoin , used the platform of NEO.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your involvment in crypto world? on: July 29, 2018, 10:48:23 PM
I have several other commitments, which might not enable me to be able to engage in crypto related stuffs always . I only engage in bounty at my leisure.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to save my coins and tokens? on: July 29, 2018, 10:34:35 PM
Do not relent in investing. I think a time like this will be good for you to invest again i have seen so many good coins that can even give good ROI if invested into. Also remember to diversify your investment.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is starting to take the blockchain technology seriously. on: July 29, 2018, 10:25:08 PM
The face of the project should be shown as soon as possible.  I perceive something good is going to come out of it.
Sometimes ago someone made a post as regards a project called fazecoin, who reported that it was seen from a source that the project is from facebook, but i quickly debunked it and virtually everyone did. If facebook eventually starts, we would know.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: July 29, 2018, 05:52:57 PM
So many investors are complaining because of their portfolio that is gradually reducing. There is no other reason far behind this, except for the fact that the present situation of the market is not as good as we want or expected. There are so many things to consider before investing into altcoins, because investing wrongly could make you to loose your portfolio totally. Some of the factors to be considered are: historical data of the coin, the team, regular updates, the roadmap (most especially for the new ones). Do not also invest against trend.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most frustrating thing about crypto on: July 28, 2018, 10:03:54 PM
I use idex often and i have not noticed such. I think the main reason could that your gas price was too low. I often times use the recommended gwei.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your plans for the year 2018 on: July 28, 2018, 09:58:02 PM
My plan is to invest in very good coins, not minding the present dump i their prices. I know of a coin with similar nature, which despite not getting to ICO price while listed, yet it is dumping further.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Market all RED today. I am so scared on: July 27, 2018, 09:33:06 PM
OP, you were scared because you thought everything would crash or that your loss cannot be recovered. It is a good thing to now say that the story line is beginning to change. Most coins are on the rise, but it seems most altcoins are to experience the present rise, except for some very few ones.
More uptrends are on the way and and this year is going to be remarkable.
One of the best things to do now is buy and  hold until the bullish market starts.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of cryptocurrency this 2018 on: July 27, 2018, 09:27:25 PM
Most of the discussions i have seen today, including some information outside this forum are revolving round ethereum. I think something great is about happening to ethereum this year. There is every possibility for us to see unprecedented achievement on ethereum this year. Although, it might not overtake bitcoin, but it is going to a remarkable event in terms of the price of ethereum. I strongly look forward to what this years achievement will be in the circle of crypto in general.
455  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Earn easy Merit? on: July 27, 2018, 09:09:52 PM
Presently, earning merit is quite difficult and not as easy as some may think. I remember introducing some people into this forum. Before they came in, i told them what the forum entails and about the ranking system.
I think two among these people were expecting to have merit easily as they proceed, because they saw others having merit.
I then had to explain all over to them again that, to have one merit is no more easy on the forum. I said, they have to give constructive and meaningful posts and expecting some to be merited if they suit the readers.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help with investment choice. on: July 22, 2018, 07:14:50 PM
The list of your choice of investments are very good, most especially on the part of bitcoin and ethereum. Monero is also a good choice, but i do not really know much about it. My focus now among other altcoins that i invest in, in now Stellar (XLM). Just recently, my eyes became opened to this gem called XLM. I was glad i quickly invested into it. It increased within few days of my investment. I have not sold it, because i know that i has got a lots of great potentials and i am still hodling it.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: July 22, 2018, 06:43:15 PM
Patience is a strong virtue we need to imbibe as crypto enthusiasts. I have noticed that so many people find it hard to be patient for their profit. You may find people professing that it is good to be patient and all sorts, but to do it might be hard. Except they are forced to and one id the ways is by not being paid their tokens early enough. So, they would be forced to wait. That notwithstanding, i think strong determination, without bothering yourself much on the situation of the market, can make us imbibe the virtue and get the best.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 signals that the crypto rise will stick on: July 22, 2018, 06:38:59 PM
We have so many predictions these days and what i discovered is that most of them keep failing. Some would predict fall in a set time, but what we would see afterwards is rise. On the the other hand, rise would be predicted for another set time, but on the contrary, it would be a plunge again in price. There are some who just by their activities and their set goals, determine the price of coins in the market. That not withstanding, the recovery might still be sustained and may likely lead to another bull run.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: July 22, 2018, 06:33:37 PM
Among all the projects i have always considered investing in is ethereum. The price of ethereum presently is not too high for any investor to opt for. This coin is one of the best you can hodl. No matter how long you schedule to hodl ethereum, you will still make your profit. The advantage that every holder of good coins like ethereum have not is that the market is gradually recovering and you will be glad invested into it, if you can do that now.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange? on: July 22, 2018, 06:15:44 PM
Although, i keep some of my tokens on exchange and i choose the exchanges i save on. In doing that, i ensure to put every necessary security measure in place, most especially the 2FA factor. Most accounts thatgot hacked on good exchanges, did not activate the 2FA factor as a security measure.
It is not also about having a wallet on your android. The best way to keep your coins  safe, is by saving them in hardware wallets.
