Right now the only reason I would buy into DRK is to take advantage of pumps and dumps. XMR seems long term, but the poster here (I for the name) had a point, we can't really know if Monero is extremely underrated as of now or it's near DRK levels given total supply. I still tho believe that it will go up a lot, but not when so im staying all BTC for now.

Like I said before, biggest IPO in crypto history and correct me if im wrong, but if they do decide to dump and leave it would have certainly an impact on the price, unless they dump slowly.

Monero developers need to make the wallet easier to use and offer public wallet service like blockchain before an average user such as myself will consider using and investing in Monero.
And maybe you should read the Monero Missives or watch the google firechat the next time  http://imgur.com/a/ERheR (GUI Wallet). The monero devs have not released a wallet. they have released a great command line wallet and they have announced a GUI wallet to come... correction... the monero devs have not released a GUI wallet This is still very early days within development. It's mostly technical people that aren't the coin, the non technical people are simply speculators anyway. It's very easy to use, if you don't know how to use it just wait until a GUI comes out. |

I just don't get the link between Monero being censored by CoinDesk and the coin lossing credibility? Why is this a loss of credibility specifically? Credibility seems like a vague term thrown within this context for the sake of FUD.

Being a fork doesnt really matter, what matters is what the devs do with it, and XMR has surpassed as to date the original Bytecoin, so there.

Im a lot into movies like Cube and the other ones Hypercube and Cube Zero, movies that mindfuck you and you don't know whats going on, sometimes not even at the end there is a final conclusion. I enjoyed The Mist even tho is was shitty rated by critics. Im not really into the super underground alternative movies.

Faucets are for newbies so they can have their couple satoshis to play around with. If you want oever make 1 BTC you need to deliver some sort of service like advertisement, or risk FIAT into it. For example im making some BTC with the advertisement campaing. It's not much but it helps a lot in my situation.

There is a thread where a guy got charged 0.1 fee for some reason. I always check my fee i set to the default value. I have never used higher fees unless the situation requires it like rushing to get money quick in an exchange and whatnot.

Everytime I make a constructive post, which I mostly do, I earn .0012 of BTC(I will soon at least because next week I will be a Senior Member). You should really check out my signature and look at other signature campaigns and try to help spread the word around about prime dice or something else that you are interested in. This is not a monero speculating thread, but I am very interested to watch the price action in Poloniex. The chances of a capitulation below 0.00334 have been eradicated overnight, so the buyers are looking at a double bottom, with very little asks below 0.004. The ship is turning, but the turn will be slow. After such downtrend, there is no urge to panic, and when the urge develops, we are already that much higher that the inflation and speculator selling will smoothen the way. I <3 XMR!  Ok here are my thougts, let me know what you think: 0.0033-0.0030 = "Guys, we should be buying by now" trigger 0.0025-0.0020 = Absolute instant panic buy, rally beggins Im considering putting an extra 0.2 BTC now but im scared for the possibility of it going even lower before we reach 0.008+ zone. |

i was considering buy 0.0034 of bitcoin (100% of my budget XD) in monero.
Do you think it will be better to wait a bit to come down to 0.0033 or buy now at 0.0035?
I have no idea as I am not a wizard but, personally I think it cannot get any lower without hands starting to get nervous (panic buying in this case). I think 0.0025 is the super panic buy trigger but 0.0033 is the "guys we should be buying by now" trigger. It depends on how much you want to risk by waiting more to buy more cheap XMR. |

I already cashed out the little Litecoin I had. It just has no appeal anymore. I think the "first altcoin" (even tho is not) tag is just not enough to justify Litecoin. But at the end of the day all that matters for a coin to be successful is merchant adoption, so we'll see if people accept it or not, is all that matters really.

What Dogecoin has on all the rest of the coins is the big friendly community and the constant charity and fund raising they do. This gets a lot of advertisement. Now if this affects the price or not im not sure, but the popularity keeps growing. If you do a graphic on new reddit subscriptors they just don't stop comming. I think we may eventually see a rise of the Doge just like we saw a rise of the Phoenix.

Im considering putting a little 0.1 BTC on there before the price goes up again. This high DRK price with low XMR price situation is ridiculous and it's only a matter of time before we break from it. XMR is pretty much destined to take DRK's place.

Market has been expecting PIGS (Portugal, Italy, Greeks,Spain) debt situation to get haircut since 2010. I am amaze they can delay the implosion for this long.
The Euro Zone stutters along.... They simply CAN'T let a country like Spain become bankrupt and end up like Greece, this would mean simply the end of the EU. I fear if this happens, what the ramifications will be. The debt is insane and it is never going to be paid, that's the only thing I know. Now what they do after admiting this thing, I don't know. The thing this, it seem they will never admit this thing. |
