Can you post up pics of the cards with your user name in them?

It's kind of a prerequisite on here.

Thanks!

hello.

using your software about 2 months. remote and watcher. everything is great.

i have two rig. i use cgwatcher both of them.

today i added to my second rig 2 new gpus. no any windows based or software based changes happend. just added new gpus and run. first time cgwatcher seems smooth i got the normal hashrate.

then i made a reset pc. windows logged in and opened cgwatcher, but first time i see that cgwatcher trying to access api but it cant, cgminer starting but it wont mine. just it connect to pool.

its first time happened me and im running cgminer alone now but im worry about sick or dead issue so cgwatcher is a software i cant throw it away.

what should i do? should i go w8.1 from w7?

thanks.

(other rig is okey with no problem.)

Have you done a clean driver uninstall and then a reinstall?

DDU works great for that. Win 7 should be fine with up to 4-5 cards.

I hate how people say that's all anything is ever going to make... I in the past 2 1/2 months I started with 2 and worked my way up to 7 and they have made a little over .12

I've made .6BTC with them, but I kind of want to consolidate to bigger devices, and standardize my equipment.

How long have you been running them?

http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/

They currently produce roughly .012 BTC per month.

I wonder what ROI would be.

Hi Justin and fellow miners,

My rig has been running well without cgminer freezing up on me since I put in a fourth R9 290 card about 2 weeks ago.
I've also switched to "cgminer 2014" that's what I call it. It's a modified 3.7.2 version by Martin "Kalroth" Danielsen's.
http://k-dev.net/cgminer/
I prefer its layout, but that is totally up to you to decide.
Accepted shares have been move to the top of the window.
Rejected shares are now shown in percentage instead of number of shares.
This way your intensity number doesn't move out of screen or to the next line if your miner's been running for a day or a couple of days.

Hope it helps anyone else as much as it has helped me keeping my miners going.  Wink

Did you notice any speed improvements?

I noticed a small one when I switched over to SGminer. Might give this one a shot also.

You might want to check this one out:

No, it looks like that WAS it!

You can't go by just those directions though. Apparently ULPS is in several places. I did a search for ULPS and there were probably 40 of them in my registry. 2 of them were still set to 1. Wiped drivers and reinstalled and then did the registry edits before rebooting.

You are the man!
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problems with all catalyst drivers and win 7 on: February 25, 2014, 10:45:11 PM
Nope, looks like that wasn't it. ULPS was already disabled.

Redid them anyway and it still does the same thing.

Anyone else?

I'll give that a shot when I get home.

Thanks!

Guys, take a look at the link at the top of this page. Flound isn't monitoring this thread very often anymore. Multipool has a new home.

I have tried almost every version there is.

Currently trying to use 13.1.

Can clean the drivers and install any version of catalyst. On 1st reboot after driver install rig mines fine.

Any reboot after 6950 card hashes next to nothing. Have to clean drivers and reinstall for it to come back and then it is the same thing again.

Anyone have a solution?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations!

Instead of flashing a 6950 to 6970, use the original 6950 BIOS and use RBE to unlock the shaders.
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1962/techpowerup-radeon-bios-editor-v1-28/

This allows you to increase hashrate but at the lower voltage that the 6950 can withstand. Otherwise funny things can happen like overheating, throttling and killing the card soon. Also, perhaps your riser isn't that good.

After flashing the unlocked 1.1V BIOS, put the 6950 on the PCI-e 16x slot and see if it hashes fine.

That is what was done. Card hashes fine, no overheats or anything. It was in the X16 slot by itself before I got the 6970 and hashed with no problems.

Pretty sure this is a driver issue.

Just reaching out and hoping someone might have ran into this and solved it.

Have a windows 7 box with a 6970 in the PCI-E x16 slot. Have a 6950 flashed to a 6970 in the PCI-2 z1 slot on a powered riser.

If you decide to separate I might be interested in the 5870.

I wasn't aware of any bandwidth limit exceeded problems with the new support forum (http://www.minerremote.com/support) but I will look into this and encourage everyone to post issues there. Because it is divided up into sections, it makes it easier to find help and even for you to help others with issues that you've been able to solve.

I've been driving much of this past week but I've finally made it to Los Angeles... so I'll be catching up on support and getting back to updates as soon as I find a house or apartment. Even if it takes me a few days to respond, I can assure everyone that both CGWatcher and CGRemote projects are still very much alive, in fact more so now than ever. Big things underway. Wink

I'll try to answer everyone's questions without taking up too much space:

Ntrain2k:  I haven't had a chance to look at sgminer yet. If it works sometimes and sometimes not, then it's probably an sgminer issue. If it freezes every time CGWatcher tries to start sgminer, then it may be a config setting that sgminer doesn't like (perhaps a setting that was removed).

It's not every time, very random.

Thanks!

Someone ever got this problem after a few hours..

Something happens (I don't know what) Cgwatcher opens sgminer automatically and it just sits there and does nothing. Cgwatcher opens sgminer again and nothing happens...

All cmd windows stay open without doing anything

I get that sometimes. I end up having to reboot for it to work. Wish I knew how to fix it.

I checked it in the log last time it happend it was because a gpu was sick...

I havn't checked any logs yet. When it happens for me it has been mining great. I stop it to do some other things and then when I hit the start mining button it opens SGminer and sgminer just freezes up and sits there. Sometimes the driver will reset, but usually the system just ends up locking up.
