As long as you, the dev, does not vanish like artos and Stablecoin and keep up the great work at adding new features to Riecoin, the community will always back you up however we can. Hopefully we can get more than 1 dev to back you up and leave you with less work and more time to think of new features to add. Riecoin value will rise as the community grow so no worries right now. Marketing will be on its way as soon as Riecoin becomes more popular. I will try to support it to the best I can. |

stratum-mining is accepting shares and writing to the DB!
my pool still doesn't work (mpos configuration issues) I'll clean up the code and upload everything later, we should have more pools soon!
give me some hours and I'll do the formal Thursday status post, it may come late, but it will still be Thursday.. in at least one time zone...
I'll upload to github the stratum-mining, the cpuminer with stratum support, and a new client 0.8.8 (update required only for pool operators)

The 100 orders right now in Cryptsy that are currently being shown add up to 1.32BTC and 89,174 SMC.
Thats roughly $1,000 that could be invested today that would push the coin and possibly be worth 15BTC in two weeks.
So someone with 1.32BTC pump this thing, get rich, and help the rest of us out here!
Easy to say but hard to implement. Smartcoin is a bit of a risky investment right now. Riskier than many other cryptos simply because of the low volume. It'd be nice though if someone does it. |

Only good coins are Bitcoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Primecoin, Namecoin, Nxt, Huntercoin, Datacoin, Riecoin, and Darkcoin. Btw, I only own 5 out of the 10 so my suggestion are purely based on their specs, potential, and uniqueness from other coins.

I was hesitant to say something earlier out of fear of appearing a Luddite, bit I also like the current Riecoin logo and see no reason to change it.
Never be afraid to speak up. Only cowards and d-bags reject different opinions. The riecoin community has no cowards or dbags. Since the majority of the people who spoken up right now disagree with my view, I guess no Riecoin logo change? It'd be nice to have some designs though in case people see a logo they like more than the current logo. |

Anyone think we need a redesign for Riecoin logo? Its a bit 2D in my opinion and doesn't really stand out from the oceans of cryptocurrencies we have right now.
If there is some bounty, i can make a lot more 3D design  50 RIC on my end for a redesign of logo. I like our logo, but if the majority speaks I'll agree to change it. Please consider that 3D is not always better than 2D! well... the Riemann zeta function is actually 4D... (C->C ie 2D->2D) but can be represented in two 3D graphics... Also consider that besides the logo I'll need the splash screen for the QT wallet, the icons in many sizes, the drawing for the left of the "about riecoin" window, the vertical banner for the windows installer, and the horizontal banner like this one: http://www.riecoin.org/logo_riecoin_png.pngI also like our current logo. 2D is always better for a logo IMAO. Show me otherwise . Or, simply make another 2D logo. Yea..I don't mind the logo right now but I think it can be improved. But that is not as important right now as getting a 2nd, 3rd, etc.. pool up and running for Riecoin. |

Because Ypool is monopolizing Riecoin and solo miners don't get much so Ypool miners sell at any price. Since price is continuously going down right now, no investor is making a profit but its ok. I just put in a buy order for Riecoin and I will continue to do so until Riecoin has 2+ pool. 2% of mined coins are being dumped if my calculations are correct  Have you considered if YPool dumps their coins they get from fees? |

Personally, I don't mind the price being this low. Gives me more time to invest in other coin to make a quick profit and buy more RIC.

he explained it. imagine trying to delete bitcoin 1mill deletecoins will be worth 21mill bitcoins (1 delete = 0.0476191btc) he then swaps the coins at that constant rate with bitcoin users until he owns all the btc... then simply send it to a random address that he or anyone doesnt have a privkey for. please note this is for the worthless altcoins currently riding their prices to the ground. and hopefully shouldnt affect bitcoin Unfortunately, this system relies trust which would probably be the failure of the coin. Unless the dev can develop a trustless system, the coin will never work. |
