Alla lunga vorrei spenderli, leggendo qualche thread qua che mi hanno consigliato ho visto che posso usare bitrefill con molti servizi. Questo in parte mi consola parecchio. Volendo comprare qualcosa di grosso, tipo auto, invece ho qualche dubbio. Vediamo. Quoto quanto spiegato da conilmionome: se pensi di tirar fuori qualche centinaio di euro al mese starei abbastanza tranquillo dato l'importo limitato; se invece in qualche momento pensi di fare spese importanti come appunto un'automobile, comprarla senza un cashout dichiarato è una follia. Per te varrebbe la pena mettersi nei casini con lo stato per comprare un'automobile? Tenete presente che qui stiamo considerando l'ipotesi di cash out "volontaria". Voglio comprarmi la macchina per andare al bat, e voglio trovare il modo migliore di farlo. Anche io come @Plutosky o altri sono della scuola di pensiero, "non uscire", ma cosa succede se qualcuno (toccate legno) ha bisogno urgementente di una grossa somma? Come converitre la ricchezzza crypto in fiat senza andare nei casini (non mi riferisco tanto al fisco, ma proprio ai giudici). |

About inflows into ETFs, maybe look at regular markets ? We got good quarterly reports, so maybe people skimmed off profits and put them into BTC. Or sold in May, go away...into BTC.
I seriously doubt about this. BTC ETF flows have been quite uncorrelated with bitcoin markets, let alone other markets. I would say that flows were driven by some profit-taking after a substantial, in TradFI terms, retracement from ATH. Paper hands selling, basically. |

Tra l'altro un ETF non è bitcoin, ovvero è un semplicissimo strumento finanziario indicizzato a Bitcoin: un ETF come qualsiasi altro con sopra un'etichetta "bitcoin", ma che a parte questo nomn ha nessuna particolarità di sorta.

Lo ho detto tante volte: mi pare che il professore sia partito bene, con un modello e delle osservazioni "scientifiche" (lo scrivo tra virgolette perché ancora non è stato pubblicato il paper peer-reviewd che aveva promesso), ma che poi si sia fatto prendere la mano. Comunque molte delle osservazioni che fai tu sono già state poste ed il professore medesimo ha già dato delle risposte. Seguendo il tuo esempio, tu andresti a giocare al casinò solo se gli altri giocano contro di te a carte scoperte? Squali, balene… i piccoli devono guardare sul lungo-lunghissimo, nel mentre i grandi fanno i loro giochi (legittimi). Poi ci sono anche giochi “sporchi”… ma non li riscontro nel contesto descritto prima da conilmionome. Mi chiedo a questo punto quali strumenti rimangano ai "pesci piccoli" per provare a difendersi, dove difendesti significa sostanzialmente cercare di capire quale sia il positioning degli squali: funding rates, heatmap delle stop, canali twitter, telegram.. come può un piccolo trader difendre il Proprio gruzzolo? |

As I said last month, @ddmrddmr has become more efficient at distributing merits in the traditional way, or he's saving merits for later! I honestly am rooting for the first option!

That was...unexpected. One off? Who's buying into a fund with 1,5% fees I don't trust all these twitter stats. There is a huge difference between them and https://platform.arkhamintelligence.com/explorer/entity/grayscale where every transaction can be seen. According to it, yesterday was again negative with 1900 BTC outflows and 0 inflows. The day before that 1000 BTC inflows and 4200 BTC outflows. I don't know where this huge difference is coming from, but it is a fact. Even if we don't count the non labeled addresses, the outflows are still much bigger than all twitter accounts report. There is a difference between the twos. Burned research is almost realtime information. Flow reporting is happening a few hours after the bell, and it is referred to same day. Arkham monitors blockchain wallets, which are delayed to t+1, as they are the settlement of previous day flows. Tomorrow (or today) you will see an inflow in Arkham. |

In poche parole ci sono utenti che sono Merit Source delle varie sezioni (tipo fillippone e qualche altro utente della nostra sezione) e ogni mese gli vengono assegnati X merits da distribuire (il numero cambia in base all'utente, presumo che Theymos decida?). I Merit vengono creati in questo modo dato che per poter lasciare un merit devi riceverne due quindi se non ci fossero le Merit Source prima o poi i merit finirebbero. Bravo Ale88 per lo spiegone. Qui la definizione originale di Merit Source: Certain users are designated as "merit sources". They can create new merit out of nothing, up to a limited number per month (which differs per source). I will not be posting a definitive list of merit sources (so that people don't bug them too much), though you'll soon figure out who they are if you pay attention.

La gente continua a confondere volumi con inflow facendo un gran casino, ma gli ETF di HK sono andati bene a livello di acquisti al day one.
ChinaAMC ha avuto 123 milioni di dollari USA di inflow con quasi 2k BTC di asset. Gli altri due circa la metà.
Vedremo in futuro.
Condivido quanto detto dal CEO di ChinaAMC, il metodo in kind rende questi fondi attraenti, tra l'altro, per i miners che hanno modo di convertire i b. minati in quote del fondo senza generare un evento tassabile.
é stata una cosa un pò strana. Gli inflows sono stati "grossi" per degli ETF di HK, credo sia stato il tero lancio più di successo di sempre (negli USa sono stato il maggior successo tout court). Questi inflow però erano già all'interno del fondo, è stato fatto un seeding particolarmente voluminoso. PEr questo invece i volumi sono stati un pò deludenti. Anche l'interesse per ETH ha lasciato un pò stupiti, in negativo, diversi commentatori: di fatto pochi inflows e soprattuto pochi volumi (vuol dire che non sarà uno strumento liquido). |
