441  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 13, 2022, 09:02:23 AM

This is good advice that has already been mentioned several times on this forum, but it is always good to repeat it for new members.

Yes, new members join this forum daily. It is for the new members who join this forum and seek to look for a guide on how to go about investing in cryptocurrency. Just for them to know the risk involved when they completely rely on it.
I can't remember how many times I have read this kind of advice on this forum in the years past, but the fact is this kind of thread is very necessary to serve as a warning and a caution to newcomers. Most of the people coming into bitcoin are here just to cash out on their investment and they have taken the same mindset to altcoins that are more volatile than Bitcoin, if one wants to invest in any cryptocurrency and have some sort of peace of mind and fewer losses then you need to look for Bitcoin because the vulnerability in altcoins are higher but then we are always advised to invest what we can afford to let go of.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: MY DAILY BITCOIN SPECULATIONS AND VIEWS on: September 13, 2022, 07:33:02 AM
22k BTC price is a great relief to speculators and investors at this moment where Bitcoin has noised dive below 20k for several weeks so arriving at a 22k+ price is something to emphasize before taking any decision and I believe what op has said that this recent Bitcoin chart movement should be properly analyzed before any decision is taken and for traders I advice opening more buying positions for Bitcoin and holding stablecoins.

The market conditions right now require close observation!
443  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some Crazy Fun Facts About Casinos And Gambling You Might Not Know. on: September 13, 2022, 07:12:19 AM
Women do know when to steal the show, on the given link by @OP I read that the first legal Casino license is issued to a woman.  I was like wth, gambling is dominated by males during those times let alone by mobsters and gangsters.  So I was surprised when the first legal Casino is established by a woman named Mayme Stocker in 1920 for the Northern Club.  She was a wife and a mother, but her husband does not support her so she pushed its legality and opened the Casino herself.[1]

Ever since history, women have played a crucial role in human development and whatever you can see a man does women have that ability to do same and in fact women are persistent and always looking out for new things.

Most of the world great scientists and investors are women and even in gambling their are woman who has dived into it before their male counterparts.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5,000 BTC from Satoshi-Era Wallet Moved on: September 13, 2022, 05:36:32 AM
Old addresses with a lot of funds are not that big a deal. If they have 1 like that they probably have more.

Not something to worry about the trading volume of BTC is on the order of 1.5 million coins a day. Having a few thousand more dumped into it is not something to worry about.

-Dave

We have seen this many times before and we will see more of this going forward, old Bitcoin wallets will keep on transacting because you don't expect them to leave their Bitcoin dormant forever, as most people who hold Bitcoin way back have a long-term goal to it some may place 10 years holding plans other can also have 20-year holding plans to at whateverr time the owner feels comfortable to move their Bitcoin around it's the choice and their money and it is sure ther made huge profits already considering the entry time and price.

5,000 bitcoins is not that huge to create any panic or discussion here, 1.5 million Bitcoin are traded daily and that is enough volume to accommodate any old wallet balance whenever their get offloaded into the market. I don't panic when I see such old. wallet balance movement only newbies do that and as for old members who are already experienced with such actions, I can only get excited that at least the dormant long abandon wallet is still active and that gives us the chance to take hold of then if the wallet owner injects those Bitcoin into the market, but at the moment we can't confirm if the Bitcoin we're transferred to an exchange wallet or a privately own cold wallet.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I have bought Bitcoin ? on: September 12, 2022, 10:15:27 PM
I also think 5000 is a lot of money for a monk to spend in just six months. In many countries that amount is a lot of money for some people even in a year. It must be some monk who likes to do sinful things, otherwise I don't quite understand how it was possible to spend that money somewhere in a monastery. To me, this thread reeks of a scam.
Spending $5000 in six months is quite absurd here most especially for a monk but let not dive into that is there is any inconsistency in the thread with a quick look at the title of this thread one will discover where the barrier is coming from I wouldn't say there is a language barrier here because from the replies by op it shows he is good in English. So the content of the message is not hard to understand and one can easily discover that this thread is an attempt in a negative direction but all thing is equal. It is a good thing to hear that op has found help through Bitcoin.

What I find funny in your comment is the part you mentioned that spending $5000 a month most have been on sinful adventures as a monk but then you know monks only spend much of their time in the prayer room rather than visiting a clubhouse.

The truth is if you truly understand the underlying factors that accompany the much anticipated Ethereum merge you won't celebrate it so much and having so much faith to the point of believing that holders of ethereum will sell off after the merge, I will like to make you understand one very important point that will make you have a second thought before putting all your bag off into ethereum.

The upcoming ethereum merge is not like a fork event that happened sometimes ago where the ethereum classic was created out of the original ethereum and holders of the old ethereum where air dropped ethereum classic for free that prompting a massive sell-off which impacted the price of ethereum classic and since then the price of ethereum classic has not been able to compete with the price of ethereum in the market.

What you should understand about the upcoming ethereum merge is that the mug is just a connection of two ethereum networks that will aid some features in the ethereum network such as proof of stake consensus against proof of work, and this is thought to lessen the over depended on computing power computing that sorb up much energy and with environmental effect.

Blackjack fun as a unique gambling site that offers special blackjack games has come up with its free spin which is an hourly promotion I see as a good way to attract new players and motivate old players to stay more in the casino.

I have not been to the site but with the reviews, and responses I have read on this thread so far a lot of members have been lucky to have claimed the free spin and since the spin is easy and luck based I don't think members will find it difficult to utilize the free spin given to them to achieve something good from blackjack.
448  Economy / Gambling / Re: around 1.6 billion people worldwide gamble, What about a poker gamefi?? on: September 12, 2022, 02:20:56 PM
I use to believe that poker game are skill based games and there is little to no luck involve in winning poker games not until I read from some users comments on this thread then I discovered there is place for luck factors in poker games.
We have seen so many types of GameFi, but none of them is focused on the game which means it is not entertained. I think poker is a good start point to enter the gamefi area in the future.
You mean if we need more adoption in gambling, then we should have to improved poker or advertise poker more than ever before? For me, I think it should be the easiest one like dice or slot that should be the starting point but if it will be the starting point then it should have more benefits to the new players, benefit makes them more interested and come back again.
We don't even need to that ourselves, many casino platform are doing that for us and from what I can see, there are new users every year that join the poker game on a daily weekly and monthly basis. I have many of my friends who like playing poker and they enjoy inviting friends and family that love joining them on the learning and getting mastering the art of playing it. With time the number we are seeing now will drastically increase.
@Desmong I will like to find such a group of friends who help each other in learning poker games because I will like to have some skills before I play poker games in real casinos and I will be glad if you can share a link where I can learn poker games from others who have gained some skills over time in poker.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Proof of Work (ETHW): The Next Big Thing? on: September 12, 2022, 05:48:44 AM
just like Bitcoin cash, it can't be like the original coin just take as a copycat of the original coin and can not equal in price because their network is not the same even though it will be forked out of the original coin.

Ehtereuhasof of work algorithm have been beneficial to the miner that has the computing power to process transactions and get rewarded for their work and even though there have been several agitations for change of network due to power consumption and other environmental hazards from mining using through proof of work it is obvious Proof of stake may not solve that problem in tan totality and you can take example from Bitcoin cash ever since there has been initiated there has not been significant progress in any of its aspect that prompted it development except for the rewarded holders of the original Bitcoin receiving free coins.

It will be in the best interest of both forum members and your casino to take close look at every suggestion and feedback from members of this forum who will be trying out your casino, most especially the experience gamblers who can help with feedback that will improve your casino.

And also you can do more by offering a special bitcointalk promo because that will generate a lot of traffic from this forum to your casino since there will have incentives for trying out your site.

What its happen now with the pools of stacking?

I dont see the renewed one being active. Its strange because when a cycle end they put the new one in a few hours, and now we have 2/3 days without any activity.
Or maybe they change the pool of stacking to the OWL games page as they said was an idea a few weeks ago?
Let's wait to see the response from the team on this, I was considering buying some of the tokens to stake for a while but reading this and many other comments on the time network give me worries as to whether to go ahead to make the purchase or hold on for a while.

Ever ways I hope the admin will make a public statement regarding this and if there is any change it should be communicated to the community as soon as possible.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's faceless identity is the greatest Bitcoin success strategy on: September 11, 2022, 08:55:44 PM
I will not go for comparing between altcoin and bitcoin . I will give thanks to Satoshi for making this great invention. It's keep us away from the control of banking system.  I gives us the opportunity to transact our money animously. And these things makes Cryptocurrencies up today. So don't need to know who is Satoshi or whatever we just respect his opinion.
The fact is we can enjoy Bitcoin 100% without bordering to know who the creator is as long as transactions are based on Peer to peer we can be ok with that and that is the beauty in the decentralized nature of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not under the influence of anybody or institution and the invisibility of Satoshi is one of the things that give Bitcoin it credence, and to say we should compare Bitcoin to altcoins I will see that as a wasted effort both can still co-exist with each other without any problem, as long as both aid scalability of the cryptocurrency industry.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 11, 2022, 08:08:58 PM
Or those who have jump is those people who have lost their money and at least if they would have to sell at the price right now, they could have recovered something.
Probably or maybe. Its really something staying above $6 for two days. It seems the whales are really trying ti make it a long time interval before releasing their bags. I feel that it could do another leg up to $10 and from that where the massacre would happened right away.

Curious too why exchange are posting or taunting community with such questions of how far will lunc/luna pump go. Rather it seems they are shilling in a very subtle way like Kucoin tweets.
I don't know why but I lost my confidence in this project long ago, and even though luna should do 10x price moment right now I would not be impressed because they have betrayed community trust.

And year exchange will do all that their can to promote the coin even if it means using the subtle method, you know the investment is at stake as many exchanges have large bags of Terra classic ready to be offloaded into the market any moment the pump happens.

Hey, did anybody try holding on fairspin?
did not hear about it, what’s that?
Casino I stumbled upon. they have token - TFS. And you can hold it aand earn more tokens. I tried and can understand if is that true. There was a 21% reward for a couple of days. Is it scam?

Never heard of them before. what can you do with their coins?
There several casino tokens and one of the most popular I have read about on this forum is owl token, I have not monitored the women performance but from what I read about them the token is performing well and the holder can stake then and to a good extent their API is quite attractive.

Am considering trying the casino out to see if they have incentives for players who use their native token on the casino.

Am still surprised about Liverpool performance how come it got this bad after they ended with a good performance season.  It is expected that Liverpool  should continue with the Same degree of performance as last season or to even do better, but Liverpool surprised many people with poor performance like a small team.
This was far from what was expected, even though before the season started the trust in them was so high, coupled with the arrival of Nunez who was expected to contribute a lot to the team. But it didn't work as expected, in fact their performance was worse than imagined. Indeed this is the beginning, but with their performance like that I doubt they will be able to compete at the top.
I have fine a way to attribute most clubs performances to lack of Unity and unfamiliarity within the players, since some of the players in various clubs are new to other team members and some clubs even change their coaches.

Liverpool did well in the last season but this season have been faced with a lot of challenges with the clubs player and I believe as time pass by their will get their hands together to take the club to a good direction, we are still in the early stage of the premiere league and so much can still be achieve even with the absent of Mane, we shouldn't make the conclusion now making it look that Liverpool made a grace mistake of letting mane leave the club.

Reading about the risky adventure of the FEDEX CEO I was pushed to imagine what will have happened fo the global shipping company if the whole money the CEO gambled with was lost.

But thank goodness he made it out and that action have to change the faith of the company for life now FedEx is a global name and all thanks to the CEO who understood the place of risk in every aspect of life and was courageous enough to take the bold step and risking everything

Your brother does not have any information or knowledge of Bitcoin, and he is just making random statements. The fact that Bitcoin history and record can be traced on the blockchain and available information makes us understand that Bitcoin can never be minded even though if the 21 million Bitcoin is minded Bitcoin miners will continue to mind and get their rewards through the fees which are something their already used to.

So why should you believe the comment of your brother when he doesn't even know what is talking about read more to avoid such misunderstanding in the future.

Most of the world undiscovered and limitedly discovered facts that have great historic story behind it are champion by women, ever since time immemorial, women have being actively involved in all aspect of life and discovery even though women are seen as weaker vessels they're still making a significant impact similar they male counterparts.

I read some amazing discoveries some time ago that women were among the first to either drive a car or own a car in many countries around the world.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 10, 2022, 08:09:05 AM
On the one hand, the suspension of the English league for one week is indeed good, because it honors Queen Elizabeth who died, but on the other hand postponing the competition actually eliminates the opportunity for players, clubs and supporters to pay homage to Elizabeth 11, if only the competition continues to run very well. beautiful to imagine the players wearing black ribbons, there was a moment of silence, and there was also the national anthem being sung, the royal band drums accompanying and the whole world witnessed all of it, in my personal opinion this is a very extraordinary honor from the sport, moreover the queen really loves football.

According to what I have read from the British media there is no obligation to cancel or postpone sporting events and equipment, or to close entertainment venues during times of national mourning. however, paying homage to Queen Elizabeth, is the right of the British nation. I strongly agree that the postponement of the Premier League is intended to honor and remember the services of the late Queen Elizabeth, but on the other hand, this suspension will burden big clubs with very busy schedules.

I agree with you, if only the premier league continued but all players wore black ribbons to honor and remember his services wearing black ribbons, accompanied by a moment of silence and the national anthem was sung as you said.

Despite the Premier League's delay, we as citizens of the world offer our deepest condolences.

The sports sectors are either owned by the government or by individuals who are regulated by the government, so the fact is even if the British government does not declare a public mourning clubs and tournaments organizers will do that just to honor the Queen who has put in 70 years out of the 96 years in serving Great Britain.

No doubt this move to postpone the league will affect clubs, either way, so the reality that in the next few days there will be no match in the premier league so the clubs have to use this time to prepare ahead and enough time for the new players to train more with their team members.

The title of the topic looks misleading to me, cryptocurrency is not accepted everywhere since it is not yet a global legal tender so saying cryptocurrency is accepted everywhere seems to be an exaggerated statement.

Indeed crypto has provided us a better alternative to traditional currency but then again we should know the role cryptocurrency plays in our financial life, accepting cryptocurrency in a business is a sure way to increase your customer's satisfaction most especially crypto lovers but none cryptocurrency lovers may see it as a waste of time for them to make payment using cryptocurrencies.
