441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 11, 2021, 12:47:38 AM
If you trust bitcoin you can just put it all still into it and hold it for long term. But it all depends on your decision. While it is still good to diversify your coin like selling half part of your btc and buy some potential altcoins, whatever your actions, yhe best thing is to manage them well and not too greedy if you reach your goal profit.

Since you already made some profit from that then you can just use your profit to widen your investment.
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There are no real coins in bitcoin on: March 10, 2021, 10:33:39 AM
As you said transactions in the blockchain that represents the bitcoin or a coin (as a unit). Of course, it isn't the coin that has a physical characteristics but it is still "real coin" that can be transacted digitally. And for us to be able to move these digital coins, for us to be able to make it possible to use, we need some blockchain transactions and miners. This shouldn't be put into some complication analogies. Its a digital coin.
443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic III on: March 10, 2021, 07:28:18 AM
I haven't been affected with the recent market dump. I mean, if you have enough experience and has been a long term holder, those panic movements, suddenly sideways are just normal. If a particular long term holder and at the same time trader knows for sure where the coin will gonna go (whether up or down), you can not be affected with those small dumps.

And panic traders (sellers and buyers) are already part of the community, without them there wouldnt have some corrections and recovery phase in the market.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Controls Bitcoin's Future on: March 10, 2021, 04:36:56 AM
Nope. No one will gonna control bitcoin. Even if China has most of the bitcoin miners, there are still miners in different countries. It can not be regulated as it was created as decentralized although they may implement some regulations but they can not go beyond that like controling bitcoin's future.

Anyway, are you referring from this?

China’s Inner Mongolia has banned cryptocurrency mining and declared it will shut all such projects by April, spurring fears the world’s No. 2 economy will take more steps to eradicate the power-hungry practice.

Bitcoin's market will gonna be affected for sure but that doesn't mean they have the power to control bitcoin because they tend to shut down btc miners.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government Creates Own Blockchain & Cryptocurrency on: March 10, 2021, 02:38:35 AM
If this happens, will the value of Bitcoin go down because the government will make it available for everyone for cheaper value? What are your thoughts on your government distributing digital currency?

First off, government has centralized system. If they will be able to create their own cryptocurrency and blockchain, probably it was centralized and they will have control over it. And cryptocurrency is in decentralized form. This will conflict the real purpose associated with it's system.

Although, on the other point of view. Creating their own blockchain to improve their system, to make their government more organized and prevent some corrupt officials  then there are still good side of creating their own blockchain.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Paypal make bitcoin mainstream? The website makes me think so... on: March 09, 2021, 10:29:53 AM
If paypal will successfully launched their plan with bitcoin payments. It would definitely become a mainstream for sure. As Paypal known as one of the online p2p and fast payments online, they've decided to enter and join cryptocurrency line.  But I wonder since OP is from UK and there is a cryptocurrency ban issue there. How will Paypal also comply with those countries who wanted to use Paypal (if bitcoin payments were already accepted) with those regulations behind? Lips sealed
447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading from Scratch on: March 09, 2021, 07:15:22 AM
Easy to give advices, ain't?

But there are many things you need to consider before deciding to enter this field (trading). As many thought trading can acquire massive profits but they tend to forget the risks associated with it resulting with the massive loss, too.

All the necessarry trading learnings and improvements and emotion control combined with of course trading tools will lead you to a good trading management.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I pick some PEAK? on: March 09, 2021, 04:25:06 AM
What I wanted to ask is that peakdefi claimed as "safer way to grow your health" as the  site said. How can they tell it's a safe when decentralized finance projects are actually prone with different issues like hacking, etc?

My confusion's slowly clearing after reading their real purpose here.Seems PEAK has unique purpose as I read how they gonna perform the security between the two parties (investors and managers).

449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com announces Israel Adesanya as their Global branded ambassador on: March 09, 2021, 02:32:29 AM
Unfortunately "our" Stake ambassador lost his first fight of this partnership, I don't really understand why Stake chose this guy actually, a lady like Amanda Nunes would have been a more original, modern (and smarter) choice IMHO.
Bro, please stop! This guy Adesanya is a legend and earned even more respect in my eyes after the fight in the way he accepted his defeat and didn't even give excuses about moving to a new weight class as the reason for his loss. I believe anyone would have agreed when Dana said there was a size difference but this guy Adesanya respectfully disagreed and said no I have no excuses for my loss and took it like a champion. How many guys accepted a defeat in a big event like that, I believe none.

Actually, yeah after seeing the opponent's figure. There's  a lot of difference from their weight and size. And there's  a good reason behind for sure why Stake has chosen Izzy Adesanya as being an ambassador. I also respect the guy even he loss his fight recently. And I never regret that I bet decent amount with him. Sports is part of a gambling and we all know that we can't really predict the game until it was finished.

Adesanya deserves to be acclaimed and admired. As this partnership goes well and Adesanya's first ever ambassador of Stake, this will certainly produce a good reputation and a good rapport for sports and gambling.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions That You Would Like To Ask To The Developer Before You Invest on: March 09, 2021, 12:23:52 AM
Ive always wanted to ask these questions to the developers;

- How this project maintain it's utilization?

- When you created this project, what is your main goal that is different from the other?

- Will this continued to be harbored and patronized in the long run?

-What impact this project will give to the crypto community?
451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: most amazing picture I have ever seen on: March 08, 2021, 09:09:08 AM
While common trading mistakes are normally happening, those infographic advices should still  be read to remind us traders especially those newbies to control our emotions during the trade.

And just let me add that riding the hype aren't also helping as there are many times that it was just a bait to follow the trend and be stucked on that entry because it eventually change suddenly afterwards. Cutting loss is also significant most certainly if you make a bad entry and in a verge of hitting the liquidation point.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOGE - another scam coin? on: March 08, 2021, 07:33:34 AM
Just be careful on those coin that pumped that huge. They are actually manipulated by investors and devs so other may want to ride the hype and buy that coin.

 I visited the link and this is what I saw that makes me interested on this hoge platform;

Fun.
 Deflationary.
 Autostaking.
 It's Doge©, but DeFi.

You mean it is doge defi? How come?
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has disappeared on: March 08, 2021, 05:26:49 AM
7. Thank you very much for reading the complete article. I seem to irritate some people, but I am just expressing my doubts and thoughts. As for those who want to make money with bitcoin, I did not say that bitcoin core or bitcoin cash will Decline, on the contrary I said that the price may be higher

While I am aware the we can express our own opinions and thoughts in these forum, there are some wrong beliefs that needs to be corrected. How come the original bitcoin ended last 2017? You mean, bitcoin today isn't the original one now? It's actually vague to understand that you seem in the contrary side and to criticize bitcoin in any way.

2. In fact, miners get transaction fees. Increasing the block size will increase the number of transactions per block and the total fees, and lift the limit on the number of transactions confirmed by miners in each block.
The transaction volume is not bitcoin real purpose, and the basic rules cannot be changed in order to increase the transaction volume.

You know what I see here? You seem to understand a bit at first but seems to the sideway afterwards. Yes, mines get their transaction fees but then you jumped into transaction volume and that's another activity to understand.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee charged with fraud over cryptocurrency on: March 08, 2021, 03:26:34 AM
Money laundering and exploision were pointed out for the two liable person. Just when I thought cryptocurrency can't be controlled but after reading some content related to this, I realized how they manipulate prices buy buying tons of crypto coins to inflate and deflate it.

McAfee can defend it to the court but I don't think US Justice Dept  will gonna easy with this one as it was a heavy accusations to the both of them.
455  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ceo ng TNC . Scammas? on: March 08, 2021, 01:07:32 AM

Pinaghirapan niyo yan at deserve niyo mabayaran.
456  Economy / Exchanges / [Heads-up] UK services Bybit on: March 07, 2021, 02:45:31 PM
Just for the heads up.

Bybit will gonna suspend UK services. As FCA (Financial Conduct Authority)  already implemented the regulations and ban of cryptocurrency related activity like trading, Bybit will now end trading for UK traders.

Quote
The move follows a blanket ban on all retail cryptocurrency derivatives trading by the Financial Conduct Authority, and U.K. customers will be given until March 31 to close out positions and withdraw their funds from the platform, a company announcement stated.

Well, Governments have different perspective of views about cryptocurrency. And UK wanted to ensure their netizens will be safe from deficit and losses with these volatile crypto market.

457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Finance Minister on Cryptocoin. on: March 07, 2021, 02:34:22 AM
Sounds like a positive move from Indian government. Atleast they are open for new experiments regarding cryptocurrency. Aside from banning it, there are tons of alternative solution like just implementing some regulations regarding this matter.
Glad there is one who stand and propose other constructive solution and reconsider the feelings of Indian crypto enthusiasts.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network on: March 05, 2021, 11:58:50 AM
Uninstalled Pi network app already. Not having long patience and also without assurance of good return with what you mined.

They are just giving hopes to those users that Pi will gonna have a value if it will successfully launched. But I doubt if it will really give that much as I can't see any great use as of now aside from affiliate marketing system.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DBIX - Any future? on: March 05, 2021, 08:18:33 AM
If you can see this status of DBIX coin;

It has the lowest score out of 10. That's according to the update came from here. Still no further developments and no progress. Better to look for the other coin that has good potential returns than this of DBIX coin.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best investment advice for everyone this 2021 on: March 05, 2021, 06:43:18 AM
Isn't reading posts and advice of various members here are part of the DYOR? I honestly step up forward and even improve my investment skills because I  have learned many useful advices and tools here in btt forum.

As we all know, investing always associated with "risk", it is also significant we know what we truly want. Whether to become as one of those long term investors, trader, etc. Just always keep in mind that what other's success or failures will be your fate, too. You go on your own way base on your own learnings and actions.
