441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out for the following on: June 10, 2020, 07:54:23 AM
Newbies like myself be warned, don't make crypto decisions because of the following, they are very misleading and extremely danger to your money

1. Crypto Analysts predictions
2. Hyped projects by billionaires or known people e.g McAfee
3. Going into futures and margin trading when you haven't even mastered normal trading

Seek for answers and you shall find, knowledge is power

This is correct and I agree with it. Also, most people who tend to follow this routes are those who had a different mindsets which could be as a result of what they heard and so on, thus when whey join the crypto space they will be easily moved by hype, what analysts says etc. In my own opinion, I think it is far better to first seek for the knowledge of the crypto space which of course covers a whole lot of questions thus knowing what is obtainable through this way making the right decisions. Lastly, I wouldn't say the first point is to be watched out more than others, NO, all have the same devastating effects thus should be avoided at all costs through doing the right thing.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we need to do for a successful ico on: June 09, 2020, 07:51:00 AM
To be frank, ICOs are long forgotten and if your team should take such steps they might be faced with a lot of challenges because nowadays no one is ready to take unnecessary risks with them (ICOs) when IEO is already presenting a better alternative with lesser risks. In my own opinion, your team can work on carrying out IEO on good exchanges, it must not be on top exchanges, there are good exchanges to start IEO on and so far the idea of the project is unique and applicable then the chances of success even after IEO will likely keep increasing.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future whale wannabe on: June 08, 2020, 09:55:48 AM
I will like to share details about my altcoin portfolio, waiting to hear for feedbacks and thoughts about the following altcoins, thanks

1. Tron
2. Bitcoin diamond
3. Aeternity
4. Pundix
5. Stratis
6. Holochain
7. Komodo
8. iost
9. Eventchain
10. Ethereum

I bought these altcoins while they are still very cheap, HOT give good return already and Tron too, I plan to become a future whale in this industry, on point or no?

This is a long list and most of the coins there, it's being long I heard anything good from team which might likely drive the price massively. Also, from this list I think it is only Ethereum that is the good there, Tron can be kept too but I would personally prefer more of Ethereum while for the other coins, left for me, I would sell them off and go into more of Ethereum or Bitcoin. I think it's wise not holding some altcoins for a long time because they might end up not meeting the anticipated gains placed on them while there are some that can give something close to what is anticipated such as Ethereum.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy some alt? on: June 08, 2020, 09:43:40 AM
In my own opinion I think if one trusts any altcoin well enough, then there shouldn't be a wrong time to buy, the only condition to put in place would be for long how the person intends to hold, if the person is aimming for long term, then any entry point can be good but if the person is aimming just for short term, then a good entry will be required to be on a more safer side. Most people who were thinking of the best time to buy some altcoins like Ethereum weeks ago must be surprised today while those who went ahead to buy must be in profits now. Lastly, the project should be good enough for investing.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KCS or kucoin share is better investment on: June 07, 2020, 05:51:04 PM
Recently I started researching on best exchange coins apart from solid block chain projects , I found  bnb and Kucoin shares (KCS) Are having more events . Like bnb or binance token introduced lots of scheme in exchange , same like kucoin also introduced lending, poolex mining even more . I more liked this because they are regularly burning token . What’s your view on this before i put my hard earned money .

To be frank, in the crypto space or better still in the world of crypto exchanges both Binance and Kucoin has taken a good stand in which they have shown that they have something different to bring to everyone, this is why both exchanges are better, although Binance is actually the best. In addition, with both exchanges bringing new features means their coins will also maintain a good value but however it is wise to invest whatever you can afford and still be calm with it owing to the fact that, the crypto space is unpredictable and highly volatile. But with everything being equal, both are good investment options.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: June 07, 2020, 05:42:48 PM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

All these points are valid which have also been proven to be right over the years. Greed is a very bad thing which one should try as much as possible to remove from either his trading or investing aspects. Another that I think should be taken seriously is emotions, it should also be removed so that one can do whatever he wants with a clear mind without being biased. Also, i think it is wrong going into investing without knowing what the project is all about, knowledge of the project is also a very important factor to consider first.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchange tokens worth investing on??? on: June 06, 2020, 08:01:18 AM
It is true that exchange's tokens are worth holding and of course it depends on the exchange. I could remember there was a time I invested in an exchange token owing to the hype surrounding it and it went really bad for me, I can't really remember the exchange. However, what I think is, these already developed exchanges has taken their positions through constantly improving on their ideas while on the other hand, upcoming exchanges aren't even doing much to make a name for themselves thus making it difficult to find an upcoming exchange which will be worth holding its tokens.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum planning to take over??? on: June 06, 2020, 07:40:56 AM
Ethereum poised to potentially outperform top crypto coins in near future, with the way I'm sensing things it seem ethereum is becoming more bullish by every minutes, here are few questions for you crypto lovers

1. Can Ethereum take over?
2. What will happen after the POS upgrade?
3. How do you see the 32Eth requirements for staking?

Am a holder of Ethereum because I believe in the platform and how active the team are is another thing worth taking note of but however I will never have the mindset that Ethereum will one day take over or beat Bitcoin to be the top coin. This is because, the level of trust and believe people have on Bitcoin can't be compared to anything in the crypto space which is not likely going to change. On the other hand, the POS upgrade is something to look out for since it is believed to better the platform. And lastly, the 32 Eth requirement for staking is too much and might limit many people.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: June 05, 2020, 07:58:13 AM
Seek for more crypto knowledge before investing in new projects, it's not always that easy to choose, as a newbie it's better to stick with old top altcoins on coinmarketcap, why? Because many newbie are in rush to make fast returns, if you are this type pls go for better top coins, 90% of new coins aren't serious at all, they are here to steal money from investors and give fake promises in return

Newbies are safer with top altcoins until they start learning how to choose wisely, do better diggings on new project to avoid scams

Cov-19 have been used to scam many newbies and even Corona virus coins are built too which have no real use cases

Play safe and be willing to learn

This post is filled with the truth and even more but the issue most times is that, they tend to invest in some coins probably because of what they heard and after they might have made mistakes will likely seek to know more thus knowing the right way. However, I agree with you  because starting with top altcoins will enable them to have broader mind of what the crypto space is all about and even when they are in losses due to market downtrend they will still be encouraged to continue (or hold) thus also learning how to hold and so on. Lastly in any given opportunity, let's teach them the right way to get started and of course starting with top altcoins.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Wallet Address on: June 04, 2020, 06:13:57 AM
Hi,
Sorry I am new to the Crypto world.
Trying to find out more details on the ERC20 Wallet Address and how Do I get one.
Is the ERC20 Wallet Address the same as the Etherium wallet address which I can get on coinbase.com?

Thanks

The first thing I would like you to know is that, it is always adviced to store your tokens in a wallet which only you have the private keys to. Also, there are many Ethereum based wallets which can be used to store ERC 20 tokens which also allows you to own and have control over your tokens, this is done via private keys as already mentioned. Therefore, I would suggest you use Enjin or Trust wallet, these wallets have been proven to be trusted, user friendly, secured and have more features for better user experience. To get the wallets visit playstore or as the case may be.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 rising altcoin on: June 04, 2020, 06:07:24 AM
To a great extent this pandemic contributed to the somewhat slow growth we have seen this year, but however it has also shown the projects whose team are hardworking and not allowing the pandemic or whatever to slow them down. About rising altcoins this year, the first I will say is Ethereum, which has been really trying to keep up to what's expected of it. Another is ADA whose team are also trying their best, and the price so far is kinda encouraging. Others are Binance coin, XLM and LTC.  I think most new projects needs to be thoroughly studied to ascertain their value.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new ICOs? on: June 03, 2020, 09:00:51 AM
One of the clear difference between ICO and IEO is that in IEO, investors are given the opportunity to make their decisions (holding or selling) while in the case of ICO they aren't given such opportunities, therefore, since this is the case, this possibility from IEO will always make IEO a better fundraising option for investors. Thus, I don't care about the type of institutional investors coming to do any ICO because once they have gotten that funds they seek, their true colour will showcase, hence I rather take my chances with IEO on good exchanges where one is assured of funds security, listing after IEO and so forth.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: June 03, 2020, 08:37:16 AM
I am well aware of coins with controlled inflation like BTC, where a finite number of coins will be generated at a controlled rate. Very recently I came across deflationary tokens where coins are destroyed whenever a transaction is made and they will end at some time.
My question is what is the purpose of creating such coins? Are they worthy enough to be invested ?

There used to be a time when some people care so much about a project with a reasonable token supply because they believed there is a possibility of touching a good price which is why during that time, once there is token burn there will be an increase in price caused by hype but nowadays everything has changed. Nowadays we have come to understand that what matters is use case, so whether a coin supply is reduced or not, it doesn't matter if the project have nothing to offer. Lastly the purpose of creating such coins is to constantly reduced its supply which of course is meant to make it valuable but that's not the case atimes. Also, investing in those coins depends on what the team is bringing to the crypto space, if it's worth it or not; that is to say, the working products and the type of team will determine if it's good for investing.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do anybody know if there is a Best Crypto Project that Failed? on: June 02, 2020, 10:27:08 AM
Does Anybody know a crypto project that is really great but failed to materialize? I'd like to see one in your comment.

There are in fact many projects which had the hype, raised good money and everyone thought they will make an impact and then all of a sudden everything comes crashing with the projects nowhere to be found, neither is there any product they can boost of. One of such projects is Cool cousin, whose idea was to create a traveling platform, they managed to list and that was it, nothing more nothing less. Another is Nexty, no one is hearing from them again.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are TOP small-medium exchanges to list a token for a new, great project? on: June 02, 2020, 10:09:07 AM
I am talking about the best starter exchanges for a new project with a limited amount of funding available.

I am looking for a list of Top 5 best exchanges for real projects, starting from the smallest (cheapest), but with decent user base and volume.

Can you name any?

It is really good you are looking into medium exchanges to start with but be it known to you that having good use case will also help every upcoming project to have a good foundation of growth. With that being said, I think the medium exchanges to start with is Kucoin and Gate. Now depending on the amount of funding available and maybe if its not up to that of the aforementioned exchanges then exchanges like Idex, BW, Probit, Bilaxy and Bithumb will also be good to look into.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shady wallets for Android smartphones on: June 01, 2020, 10:34:46 AM
We users should be careful with these wallets especially on playstore and it's very neccessary to read the reviews on those wallets before downloading. Also, it is better safe than sorry, thus using only the wallets which have been confirmed to be trustworthy by a good number of users in the crypto space, another thing is, all the good wallets are prominent or popular and I think they are enough already. Lastly, I'm always in agreement with what most people have said in the crypto space, which is, any wallet without private key shouldn't be used.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in cryptocurrency but which altcoins is good for long term holding? on: May 31, 2020, 03:40:18 PM
Hi Guys i am planning to buy Bitcoin and few altcoins for long term holding. I want to hold at least two altcoins from my list. Can you guys suggest me it is safe to buy below altcoin for long term holding? Which Altcoin is your favourite and currently holding??

My Altcoins list: Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Zcash, Dash and Monero

Like I always believe, every portfolio should have Bitcoin before any other coin (this is my personal opinion). Therefore about your question, all these coins you highlighted are major coins, that is to say they are good for investing and holding, be it long term or short term. However, choosing just two from there, my preferences will be Ethereum and Litecoin; had it been its three altcoins, then Monero can be on the choosen side too.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any of holding these coins? on: May 30, 2020, 08:26:58 AM
Hi ,I'm just seeking for information from people about these following projects,
1. Sero
2. Veil
3. LCC (LitecoinCash )
4. Apollo Currency

I'm holding bags of these coins but its rare hearing from people on here about these coins, I hardly hear anything about them, what do you guys think?

Number 1 and number 2 are privacy coins which tried their best last year and although I haven't heard much about them recently but I still think their team still have good ideas towards the platforms owing to the way they started. As for number 3, the only thing I know is that, users can mine the coin while it's tradable on Stex. For the last one I have no idea about it. However, my suggestion would be for you to check them out again to know how far the team have gone and so on, this will help you know what to do.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the trusted stablecoins to save money long-term? on: May 30, 2020, 08:15:55 AM
Owing to the fact your title attracted my attention, I will start with it first; the answer is none, and my reason is that, I have come to the understanding that any long term holding is good to be done with major coins starting with Bitcoin as the first choice or altcoins starting with ETH, but more preferably Bitcoin. Now in another opinion, it is the truth that many things have been said about USDT, but why is it still being used by a good number of people, therefore my opinion is still with USDT as the better one for long term. I wish you change your mind and go for Bitcoin instead.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: May 29, 2020, 08:32:46 AM
In this case, if you still believes in the reason why you started in the first place, then I don't think there is any issue not continuing; also another thing comes to play and that is, will the allocation be increased, if yes then I think you can continue but if the allocation isn't increased nor the new allocation added isn't encouraging, you can stop participating. Also, checking the team to know how serious they are matters too so that you don't end up wasting your time.
