KYC is gradually becoming an accepted norm in the crypto community. Investors, bounty hunters and airdrop participants are now required to pass a KYC before they can receive their tokens. It is a measure to eliminate cheaters from bounties and airdrops and also to prevent some citizens from participating in certain ICOs

I think these fluctuations are what makes bitcoin investment interesting and apparently profitable. Although might not be so favorable for long term investors, I think its good for day traders because they can make significant profits from their investment within a short period of time.

If there is any means to compensate bounty hunters after failed projects it would be very good. Almost all the bounties I participated last year turned out to be unsuccessful and it was a great lost on my part. All my resources I wasted on those unsuccessful projects went waste

ICOs really need to be regulated. Crypto nearly died off last year because of the numerous scam ICOs which tend to scare people away from investing into it. I hope the incidence of scam would reduce this year.

Investing in crypto at any point in time can fetch you profit. It all depends on the type of coin you put your investment into. Just look for some potential coins and invest in them and you are going yo make reasonable profit even at this bearish market. Every time is good for investment
I think crypto has suffered enough in 2018 and 2019 is the time to bounce back. I would encourage you to get enough potential coins for yourself as the market is still down because very soon, the market is going up again and you would wish, you had bought more and hold during this time.
It's good to have real crypto enthusiasts in the ecosystem but the exist of the fake ones too would still have a negative impact on the market because they all contribute to the demand in crypto and subsequent rise in the coin prices. The market should be a mixture of both sides to create a stable system.

I have realized the ETH has been rising gradually after the hardfork news and am very optimistic that the price will rise above 400$ before January ends but as to ETH reaching 1K$ is quite doubtful
To choose a better coin, you have look for a coin with real world use. Make sure the coin has a good community support and a dedicated team who are working very hard to develop the project. Any coin that is able to survive this bearish market is a strong coin to invest.
The ETH has really suffered a great dip over the past few months and am very excited its back to its usual number two position. Welcome back Eth. I hope it stays. 2019 will be a great year for ETH so buy and hold more
If you really want to Make a good investment then the best time to buy is when the token is already on exchange. In that way, you can really study the trend of how the coin is performing on the market. If you decide to buy at the dip, it may mean that the coin is actually dying and you would lose your investment
Every price can be classified as a dip, as Long as it is lower than the current trading price. If only bitcoin has risen higher than that price before, then buying at that price wouldn't be risky because there is a possibility that the price will go higher for you to make profit.
I think choosing only 2 alts to compare to bitcoin wouldn't give a much accurate comparison. There are a lot of other altcoins out there who couldn't even survive the severe bear market and they are dead now. I still think altcoins are more volatile than bitcoin.
Drop in bitcoin price doesn't mean the end of bitcoin. Digital currencies are naturally volatile so their prices will continue rising and falling but that shouldn't be a reason to scare you from investing in it. I think its high the crypto community stopped condemning it and speak positive words about it.
I will continue trading in bitcoin and ethereum for a while until the market becomes a little stable then I add some promising coins like BITCOIN 2, TTC and DOVU to my portfolio. I think 2019 will be a great year for the crypto community.

I think this is a good initiative taken by our administrator to reduce spam posts but am not so happy about the way it was implemented. When the merit system was first implemented, no account was demoted, people were rather given the required merit to be able to reach that rank. So am surprised the second phase of the merit system is being unfair to the existing members by demoting us all to newbies. At least one merit for us all won't be bad. Obtaining merit is not always about making good posts. Awarding merit is a subjective decision which can be biased anyway. Please administrator consider us and restore our ranks so that this new development in the forum will start from new members.

What he is saying has some element of truth. Amazix bounty team usually award zero stakes for low audience value and its very painful. You can create a nice article for a project but you can't force someone to comment or like after reading. Other bounty managers like Sylon and Bountyhive do not really consider the audience.

In as much as the KYC will help minimize double participation, I still do not like that idea because it removes one key feature of the blockchain technology, anonymity, from it
