for ccminer i use 1.8.2 with -i 23 no special parameter (but also not specifing intensity is giving me same results)

+ 756 mem

60% fan speed

Temp limit 92 degrees ( videocards at 63 degrees anyway so no problem) power approximately 350  - 370 w from the wall (3x 1070 gtx)

alterantively i could specify no param to genoil and get  70 mhs  to ethereum and  240 from ccminer  with same card specs.

raising power limit and core or mem does not yeld any significant improvement but raising the engery consumed. alternatively there is also possibility to run x11revo  at 11mhs and eth at 9 mhs OR  23 mhs Eth and 6 mhs x11 revo for each card . same settings. Pretty good considering that just x11rev gives 36 mh max on 3 cards ( so 12 mhs per card). power is lower . 320 w

also i wanted to ask why if i put 50 % power the cores do not turbo bost and hangs at  low speed _ they should stay at 1400 - 1500 according to oc but they chill at 1000 slowing greatly eht (happens both with u and genoil... with cc miner instead card does not sit but keep working at full speed)

else 1070 gtx would be best card for eth. 70w @ 34 mhs by solving this issue

at the moment  claymore you should improve the code for libry coin... im speaking as nvidia user... not profitable to use your miner....

genoil + ccminer running at same time on windows  will produce approximately 13% more than your miner  and for free


3 x 1070 gtx @ 70 % power  will produce 36 mhas eth and 610 lbry coin ... and no fee involved (except the pool fee dwarf pool... suprnova has no fee if i remember.) 365 w from the wall ( approximaterly 330 w REAL considering psu efficency. 100w /gpu considering 30w for system)

alternatively we can give more priority to eth  and produce with same settings  67 Eth and  270 lbry

lol stupid idiot pool has nothing to do with the virus more over  they even run on linux and linux wallet was free of any issue . i my self on windows but being a pool miner i didnt need my self the wallet for such coin... woul dhave seen how it would have developed and if worth my attention would have stacked some in a real wallet else would have used exchange ... i am just sad i lost 1 hour to this shit coin but of course pools are not to be blamed of anything

if you are goin to build a system for cpu mining for XMR  amd cpus better than intel (considering the price to hashrate of course)
especially i am speaking about Opteron cpus  as quad socket systems there are WAY CHEAPER than quadcore xeon producing some neats hashrates. Else give a glance at xeon E5 series avoid super duper I7 extreme...

well what QuintLeo  suggested according to me is not particularly true :

1) Brand : Go for the GREEN They offer LOWER power consumptions , Higher hash rates but of course they tend to cost a premium ( generally a +33 % ). The only advantage of ati , ATM is in the following 3 :

XMR / Cryptonight , XPM , ETHhash dual mining. DO NOTICE the following :

XPM is good only in OLD radeon card (280x - 290x ... newest card have very low double precision fpu so they wont be as good ... in this case better an nvidia)

XMR / Cryptonight is still actually MUCH better on nvidia (750 gtx as there are FREE optimized miner) considering the hashing speed / power consumed (efficency) . If you want to consider the brutal power instead nothing beats r290x atm in xmr...

ETH hash algo is much better on nvidia but if used dual mining then radeon is the way to go.


2) card : 1070 gtx all the way. they offer higher density . maxwell is history pascal is the future......

3) rest of components : personally i dont like the idea of sticking 4 videocards all together so close as the user suggested.. i would personally go fo a motherboard with up to 6 pci express slots (mixed 1x to 16x slots) and use risers to keep the graphic cards isolated....
(asrock anniversary H97 / b85 are still in production). Cpu and ram ... cpu celeron dualcore... ram ... mhh i actually build my rig with 4 gb.... someone can tell you i am a fool... but anyway that is up to you...


4) psu : get good psu (seasonic is a very nice brand the only one i would suggest without anydoubt but it is expensive... anyway for my rig i use as well enermax psus but not all enermax psus are good ... seasonic makes instead excellents psus)

guys .... cryptonight is CPU algo .......  cpu are more efficient  at it than gpu. i used to mine monero back in the days with a full cluster of servers.... 84 cpus brought me around 14 khashs back in the day... was lucky it pumped at 1 cent  around august of 2014....

sold all my coins ... got GOOD profit... then it was burst time... ahh another coin at at beginning servers were so nice.... but now again monero is profitable only on new cpus .... if coder could give profitable hasrates on cryptonote he would have done already... better to program a closed source software with fee than  keep it for yourself and buy hardware... unless of course you are not already rich to take over on the hashrate.... r9 290 on cryptonight gives 600 h /s  no way it will get you to 1200 .... the only card taht can do such is 295x and 7990  but they are dual gpu and smal ovens.... .... and at current difficulty and price it is not profitable.... r9 290 will consume at 700 h /s  250w , 0.34 XMR in day .... around 1.7 USD .... so forget abt it... same will be nvidia... i suppose with an nvidia we can get around 800 h/s with an optimized miner ( 250 / 260h tsiv miner that was optimized for gtx 750 to... same hash rate was anyway on gtx 560 .... but of course 560 was a small fournance ... 750 was kind on the wattage)
