Their debacle caused many investors to lose money, we demand an explanation from them on the conclusion of their investigation of supercoin! But now I don't see any conclusions, and they have kept the title of that thread ("Why Poloniex Has Rejected SuperCoin" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=652351.0), in a very misleading way. This title is translated to "We have rejected a bad coin", but what is bad? Changing mind every day is not good manner, PoW will be halved in a few days, you know that and that's good enough. I made calculation for you at my recent posts If the crypto can't get 1.6 btc new buys daily. It's sinking. I think we have more and problem is not about PoW. I am not expert or consultant, i prefer to let the traders decide.

It is a good article, however, you quote only DigiByte for the explanation of the mistake busoni made. In fact, supercoindev first told everyone that MAX_MONEY has nothing to do with total coin, and the maryvale posted a lot details with the code, and how total coin calculated. Then there's digibyte. Is there any other crypto offering except SUPER, XC, DARK anonymous transactions for real in the testnet or real environment?
I don't think XC has real network anon, I saw their testing in testnet only. I could be wrong, but that's my impression. DRK has a "release candidate" for darksend, I don't know what exactly it means, but I guess since it is a "candidate" and not a "release", it won't work for the real one. Also I see it limits to max 10 DRK per send, so a very small amount really for testing. So SUPER has anon in testnet, very good feature and works fine as I tested it. Hope SUPER will soon run it in the main network. |

Supercoin Long Term Development Advice hi Supercoin Community i am provenceday, truly, i have some amount Supercoin（i also have more than 100 posts on this thread）. Although i try to be neutral, but still some advices from me may be very subjective. Please Don't soak up everything uncritically. about me, i have involved with coins more than 2 years, and mining and holding more than 100 altcoins at least. Also i am running 2 biggest Multipool in China. so i just want to share some experience with Community. 1 Whether Supercoin is a good coin or not?For me, i believe Supercoin is a good coin deserve to hold. Because Supercoin has a dedicated dev team, yes dev team is the vital to Altcoin (not for bitcoin  ), if dev team abandoned a altcoin, then the altcoin may not go far. Luckily we have a dedicated team behind Supercoin. Everybody in Community know this. Supercoin is a pow/pos separated coin with some lucky Super pos block, then everybody will want to open their Supercoin Wallet for super block which can accelerate the transfer confirmation. so supercoin has a very fast confirmation, 6 confirmation less than 2 minutes, it's super fast. But if you also involve in XC coin Community, you will know XC has a very very slow transfer confirmation, some time it may take 1 hours to get 6 confirmation. because XC coin has a very low Pos Rate（3.33%,but good for price）and some shortcomings on their POS mechanism. Supercoin are also also developing Anon Wallet, and has released the alpha Version for public test. it's a big thing. if you innove in altcoin more than 1 years, you will Know Anon feature is hard to accomplished. That's the reason why darkcoin and XC coin still only have a test Anon Wallet. As i know (maybe i am wrong), only Darkcoin and XC coin and Supercoin has a Anon Wallet now(not included Cryptonote technology coin, such as bytecoin or XMR). Second is the Multipool, they will control everyday's coin supply, after they mined this coin, they will dump it soon for profit. and because i am running the 2 biggest Multipool in China,（more than 100G scrypt and X11 hash rate） i know exactly how Multipool works, everyminus Multipool will detect the all coin listed on all exchange platform(if they have a open api), then based the advanced profit Algorithm, they will decide to mine which coin, then they will mine it and dump it ASAP for bitcoins, because they must pay miner bitcoin everyday. otherwise miner will leave, also if miner can not get more profit than mining LTC, miner will also leave, because they can mine LTC instead. similar thing happened with XC coin. they ends their mining period soon after they realized Multipool keep dumping
Further more, POS mining is a more greener way for coin distribution, it do not need GPU cards and waste electricity!

After this Announcement, the price rise from 1k satoshi to 4ksatoshi. Second time i posted this 2days ago: Community can vote for weather to reduce block reward more quickly.
i do advice Supercoin can update source code again tomorrow, and reduce the block reward to 64 Supercoin or 32 Supercoin directly and then halves everyweek, until we reach 2coin or 1coin block reward, then we can end the pow and turn to a pure pos coin.
we do not need to suffer another 1 month Multipool dumping.or it may kill the young and promising Supercoin

A lot has happened since yesterday: a staff from Poloniex showed how stupid and incompetent he is, to everyone, by searching for some keywords in the code without knowing its true meaning, and called it "code review". My son of 7 years old would certainly do a better job, I can garantee you;D. Though I traded a lot in Poloniex before, that will be the end of it. I can not trade in an exchange where its staff is so incompetent. I will worry my balances there.
Anon feature released for SUPER. Many tested and found it great. How many coins have this feature in their network? DRK? Fedoracoin? I am not sure. XC?? though they hyped a lot, I don't see it really works in the regular network, only testing?
Anyway I saw SUPER dev said they are conducting 2 weeks alpha/beta testing, and anon feature is expected in regular network after that. This will be great for the coin. I am accumulating, not to say that SUPER may become the first with complete de-centralized anon wallet (as in their phase-2 plan).

For those who is still in denial, a some basic math and common sense will do. No FUD intention, just plain truth and reality  POW is still in progress, 7 million coins will enter the circulation. Everything went well, all iizz well and good news afloat but demand is decreasing and there will still be new supply of coins in the coming days/weeks. No need to panic buy since miners needs some cash to pay for electricity. Buy if you have some bitcoin to invest, but Caveat if you wanna make money ^^ Well isn't that the normal progression of any coins? you can't say ok price is down, let's change the code and stop all the rest of coins from coming. That is weird, no? Like if the price is down for Bitcoin, then people say, ok, let's change the code and stop any new generation of BTC. This is a report of my tests with anon wallet in testnet:
Anon feature in testnet working fine. The sent coin isplit into 2 or 3 parts (from the split amounts, looks random to me, maybe some special algorithms), sometimes no split for small amounts, then the receiving wallet get the sent amount, in a single value (original sent value), quite fast. I checked a few transactions, no pattern found, each time the address that sent the amount to receiving wallet is different, looks like randomly generated addresses.

Hello, I am the Supercoin dev, and I want to give an update to the community on our progress of the anonymous wallet work. First thanks to all for your patience. We've been working hard for a few weeks, and we almost finished the basic features, and they work fine. We are doing final dev testing. We will soon (in a few days) release a new version of the client (no hardfork) that will support anon features. But we want more tests to be done with the community, so for now we will only limit the anon feature in testnet environment. It will be the same client, but the anon features will be only allowed in testnet for now. We will decide, depends on how tests go, when the features will be in real network. So what is anon features? Anon features hide the traces of the transaction. So basically when you want to send from A to B, instead of showing in the blockchain explicitly a transaction showing A-B, it may show A->X, then Y->B, where X, Y are some random addresses (at least from a large address pool). Of course the transaction can be further obfuscated, such as you can split the sending amount to several parts, and apply the above for each part. This way, it is virtually impossible to trace the real transaction. So it protects your privacy. I will provide more details to our anon feature strategy and implementations later. And if you have questions, please post in the thread, the dev team will answer them as soon as possible (remember we all have our daily jobs, so please be patient  ) Man this is big! and it's real!
