441  Other / Beginners & Help / Some added development to the forum on: January 26, 2019, 09:02:46 PM
If any user has been frequent an active on the forum most of this development would not be new to them.
But the forum is constantly getting interest from individuals and some of which are signing up so I know this would be a step in aiding your understanding of the forum.

The forum has seen some changes over some weeks
Here I have made some references to the changes or development that had occurred

442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: January 26, 2019, 04:07:19 PM
That would definitely become task evasion. If unfortunately you turn out to be in a country where cryptocurrency is been tasked it's best to abide by the law and do accordingly. I would never support anyone to go against the law
443  Other / Meta / Re: The name is the same as, staff, monderator forum. on: January 26, 2019, 04:01:54 PM
If you are the observant type those user you outlined that are being name mimicked are users that are reputable and should not pose as much of a difficulty to spot the original one because those guys are quite frequent in the forum.
444  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I just thought about sharing this, learn to take advice on: January 26, 2019, 03:28:51 PM
There is no knowledge that should be considered as a waste and i think the the user was trying to use sarcasm to earn some undue merit but like it show only good trying to constantly improve yourself can set you on higher grounds in the forum
445  Other / Meta / Re: “No one reads Meta anyway.” on: January 26, 2019, 03:16:59 PM
The forum has really grown in all realm. And the meta section is now having a great deal of attention but the negative effects is that some users still bastardises it with there spamming, merit hunting and sometimes trolling
446  Other / Meta / Re: Negative trust for bad posting. on: January 24, 2019, 03:52:50 PM

I would not say you are too much of a purist but you the type that want things done the right way.
But this is a forum and just like most forum it's bounded by rules and regulations and once a user is within the jurisdiction of the laws of the forum irrespective of if the user committed an act which from a moral, intellectual or other wise perspective is wrong so long as its not against the forum rules then it can't be called an offense.
But the fact is once one engages in activities that are not right like buying of account but are not against the forum rules there is a high chance of the user going against other forum rules.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: January 21, 2019, 07:35:52 PM
Well I have tried the two options you have just stated but my best bet would be go for the two.
You can invest in cryptocurrency and still have a business of your own if you have good capitals you can employ labour to handle the some aspect of the business and still invest effectively in cryptocurrency
448  Other / Politics & Society / This year give at least an individual an anchor to hold on to on: January 21, 2019, 05:15:30 PM
The world is well over 6 billions people and many of them are leaving in poverty especially in developing countries. I would say charity is good, like giving out arms to the less privileged, poor or the displaced refuges.
but charity is only a temporary solution, what happens when your gifts are finished would you always constantly be giving and even if you do the what are the chances of giving the same individuals.
There is a saying that goes teach a person how to fish rather than giving him/her fish.
We all are privileged to have an idea in which we derive our source of income, most times they might not require a huge deal of professionalism(going to college etc) just a good basic knowledge with liberate an individual from poverty.

Why don't we contribute to the society by teach an impacting knowledge on individual or a person about how they can leave a self sufficient life. This way we would be helping the community by reducing crimes and illegal deals.

Think about it
449  Other / Meta / Re: Query for mods regarding reports on: January 21, 2019, 04:45:19 PM
I would say that there are some post that rightfully deserves to be locked by the moderators this is not to say that the thread that should be lock are bad but that the reply it keeps getting are unhealthy and a form of spamming or completing ones bounty task https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030847.0 here is a thread that is helpful but has lingered And has become a haven for spammers and bounty hunters with most of its reply being "thank you" and some other form of appreciation
450  Other / Meta / Re: Hilarious and CO - Can you explain your decisions here because they seem ..... on: January 21, 2019, 03:53:29 PM
Since you don't want others to get involved then you would have just saved us the drama and private message him.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's 10 years challenge on: January 17, 2019, 08:32:38 PM
Wow bitcoin has really had an eventful 10years I notice a steady rise from the onset up until when it reached it highest and the next to years showed a steady decline hope this will not be the trend in years to come
452  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bounties still worth it? on: January 17, 2019, 08:16:17 PM
If you are in a good bounty you will need not to worry about that. But it's so hard this days with numerous scam or fake bounties around I would still say bounties are still worth the while but you must do your assessment correctly
453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another win for the merit system. Thank you LoyceV on: January 17, 2019, 08:12:03 PM

454  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is School for? on: January 14, 2019, 09:54:52 AM
School is not necessarily and education building or institution. School can be a home, a field or any place where you get knowledge.
You can get schooled in the market in the church and even here on the forum
455  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: guide on: January 14, 2019, 09:48:02 AM

456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin be the same if Satoshi wasn't anonymous? on: January 14, 2019, 09:25:59 AM
Am guessing every one know the creator of altcoins well I don't see how this is helping there project to rise above bitcoin.
Satoshi was around long enough to give the guidelines and information about bitcoin. The foundation has already been properly laid
457  Other / Meta / Re: How many topics will Jet Cash start in Meta in 2019? on: January 14, 2019, 09:07:15 AM

458  Other / Meta / Re: Unnecessary new DT thread on: January 11, 2019, 09:20:39 AM
Unnecessary new DT thread*. FTFY.

Yes I guess it would be greeted with mixed feelings also but for the records I made it to reach out to those that are having issues get along with it.
459  Other / Meta / Unnecessary new DT complain on: January 11, 2019, 09:15:39 AM
Hello community

Well let me say that I actually might not be the best or most experienced cryptocurrency brain in the forum.
But I have some experience dealing with group, community and people and one thing that I have come to understand is that no matter how hard you try you can never please  everyone but regardless you still have to make your decision and stand by it as the head of the forum and that's what theymos in his capacity as the head did.

The default trust system had some changes made on it some dts where removed some where added well the after math of this situation has been greeted with mixed feelings (well dealing with a forum with large user that should be expected) some users actually had there resentment to the list but in my own opinion if your have been honest and straight forward in your dealings and not creating unruly behavior you would really not be so much worried about the dt list.

Theymos has been run the administration of the forum for a while now since the absent of the initial creator  allthough there are some development that the forum needs to have like having a confirmation email sent to your address on registration, some times long process to log in e.t.c well I believe it will be looked into but to be honest the forum has really been in good shape and constantly developing so it would be crazy to think that he would jeopardize all that.

The fact is the dt list had be changed and regardless of your opinion you have to just deal with it adapt to the new changes for the betterment of yourself and the forum rather than constituting unnecessary fuzz keep this in mind that the forum is far bigger than any user
460  Other / Meta / Re: I seem to be finding some reasonable posts. on: January 05, 2019, 02:08:05 PM
Firstly compliments of the season and I hope it's brings us good progress.
I must say I am very moved by your interest in the oppression going on in developing countries where the leaders are getting fat of the masses especially in Nigeria where most of it citizens leaves in poverty and the government has refused to increase the minimum wage which is at the moment a minute $50 a month even with the treats by the Nigerian labour congress to go on strike if it's not increase to around $85 they government remains adamant a whole lot of oppression is going on in the country and I have made a post about it in the politics and society section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5074280.msg48152962#msg48152962 and with the general election coming up this year and as usual might not be free and fair
