441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if all Bitcoin is lost? on: December 24, 2023, 11:05:11 PM
What would happen if all Bitcoin is mined and all Bitcoin is lost?

Haha, What the hell,
What kind of weird fantasy is it ?

OP please make sure to put some context in whatever you are trying to say or ask because it seems like you are not in full consciousness (not a toxic comment) just saying maybe you are feeling sleepy or just waking up. Simply if no one can access the Bitcoin now the network will be considered dead, but how's it possible that every single Bitcoin is lost?

There is only one possibility of network being dead if the entire worlds Network collapse, as the entire Internet faces some kind of war type situation which directly disconnect every ISP port. It will be also temporary Becasue sooner or later Internet will recovver.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading smallcap with 5000 usd selecting them by a programmed ia bot on: December 24, 2023, 07:30:04 PM
A nice marketing move dear, a small cap of 5k haha, it's not a small cap bro it's a very significant amount for some of the people. Also after reading a couple of the comments on the thread I've realized that it's not reliable as well because the content you are advertising does not even exist. Anway maybe sooner or later you're going to post such tutorials but still I hope I won't prefer wasting such a precious timeline in the bull.

Hehe #filled_bags.
443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If there is a war between the US and Europe, Bitcoin will hit $1 billion on: December 24, 2023, 07:26:18 PM
Hehe, first of all, dear hopes are too high wether its US vs EU or anything else even if its earth vs the moon or alien vs Humans haha, secondly OP there's no such situation going to happen as you are trying to imagine or idealize in you zone.

Haha in the end just a bit of a toxic comment you should take care of your health.
444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow the technique if you have zero trading knowledge in crypto on: December 23, 2023, 07:25:44 PM
  Are you sure about what you said? What are you basing these things on? It is not possible for anyone to make money from trading or ideas if they don't know anything. That's not true.

  an individual trader, even if he has only a little idea of trading here in cryptocurrency, I can still believe that he will get a profit. But what you say is zero knowledge, even if there is no idea; that is big nonsense, and that is really not true.

I can relate to it from a narrower perspective, but given the benefit of the doubt in zero knowledge, he excluded the points on executing a trade, placing an order (Every type), and where to trade.

TBH the points OP mentioned are some decent tips & recommendations but that is not at all enough to be a good trader, because on-time sooner or later you need to realize that studying the physiology of the market and having some glimpses of technical analysis with full control over the Fundamental Analysis and Sentimental analysis is necessary to service.

Even a newbie can survive and make decent profits in the bull run, the point is that survival should be analyzed by the performance of the trader in the bear market, and in the bull market we can differentiate between an expert and newbies with his existing plans. Becasue a good trader always stay conscious about the exit plan, to save profits.

446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk vs. YouTube from an educational viewpoint on: December 23, 2023, 07:08:40 PM
__MY VIEW PONT__

TBH, both are good let me explain why.

Firstly YouTube is good because the tutorials explain more with animation and some realtime examples as well what we hear we adopt more, with these perks YouTube can serve more in assisting for education perpouse because many new gen era people don't like to read more. At the same time, many masters efficiently provide accurate information with their art of expressing things at the same time Others, however, devolve into mindless montages, orbiting the point like moths around a flame.

Secondly, I personally prefer Bitcointak because here, you can go through each and every perspective with the discussion on a single topic while going through the, also you have real-time assistance with your queries from other members. The most significant perk of Bitcointalk is the Sneiors you can ask for help, and guidance and learn from their experiences which you really cant through any tutorial master. The more accurate information is available (easy to access) on Bitcointalk with some quality topics At the same time for the quality of content on the Yotuutbe you need to spend significant time scrolling and listening to the tutorials to obtain what you are looking for.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don’t think bitcoin is now decentralized on: December 23, 2023, 06:56:21 PM
The miners are not to be blamed. The mempool is congested and that has been the reason. You can face the developers, not the miners. Either they should do something about Ordinals and BRC20 tokens or get a way the mempool will not be congested as this.

Hmm, Well that is not the perfect solution, or is it? Why don't they impose some kind of FCFS algorithm on the network, Why have some not tried to put the tier system on the transaction + FCFS on each tier with a synchronizing system between the tiers as well I know these are just some random fires but what you think about it, it can solve possibly maximum problems + ordinals shit as well.

I have no idea what solutions have been proposed till now for this meme pool congestion. (Hehe don't mind just some inner feelings).
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: December 23, 2023, 06:44:24 PM
My question now is that is it wise that I showed him the amount of Bitcoins I have accumulated before he developed interest?

I don't think so.

Why ?

I think it's not a big deal because Op mentioned that he was his old friend so there's no issue with the physical attacks as there some such cases already exist. At the same time, I think greed has no limits even the trusted ones can do something unexpected and still give the benefit of the doubt because He's your old friend, and until you are securing your key there's no issue also better to use a hardware wallet. A maximum of the security concerns can be handled with the hardware wallet.

DCA is a good strategy in every market zone, but with the zone change, we can adopt some other strategies such as buying the dips, flexible DCA, etc etc.

OP make sure to realize the privacy concerns on the internet, if you are good at it, you can keep yourself safer it was your friend if it was any other person whom you were just educating about Bitcoin I would have called it the stupidest action. For the rest, I do appreciate your efforts and motivation for sharing this story but mostly people on the forum ask and answer stories are not considered as reliable to share anything.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good or bad way to avoid high transaction fee? on: December 23, 2023, 06:34:46 PM
Sorry if this sounds like I am late, I am just knowing that Bitcoin is available on Binance chain, how many of you know this? A crypto newbie that I introduced to Bitcoin came to me some hours ago saying he found a way to escape the Bitcoin high transaction fee.

Hmm Op the Bitcoin on the Binance chain is not the real Bitcoin it's a smart contract-based Altcoin that is pegged with the Bitcoin means, that the Price is adjusted with the real Bitcoin there are some potential risks in holding this Bitcoin on the BNB chain or any other network. If the pegging mechanism fails there will be great loss as well as you may potentially lose your asset valuation.

On every pegging there's always a smart contract and if there are any vulnerabilities to the smart contract you better know the consequences. At the same time, the Pegged Altcoin (Bitcoin) will also face acceptability and regularity uncertainty.

Network fees are too high, currently at least for those who are just starting their crypto / Bitcoin journey and I was just having a look at the condition on other side the shit ORDI has a withdrawal fee of $140+ on the Binance so you can say the shit is facing the shit, I'm pretty sure that Bitcoin network fees will take a fall back to normal in coming time, so it's better to avoid any transection for now if you care about the network fees.
450  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction is pending because fee was too low, now what on: December 22, 2023, 08:17:34 PM
Thanks for this information and thanks for every information you have given to me, I am feeling like a newbie which I am it is just I never tried to learn these things, I thought I couldn't be a miner so why spend time on it. I guess I was wrong, I should have learned these basic things.

Well, that's not anything most people rely on the information they obtain from a single source and they don't cross-check the legitimacy of the basic concepts because they themselves idealize the information in their imagination but at the end of the day when they encounter the truth explanation they find whatever they were idealizing was in a wrong direction. I've faced such situations many times especially when I was encountering a few metaverse-related discussions.

AFAIK it was not on the forum you can imagine the reaction haha, anyway after a couple of incidents I did a recheck on every concept was idealizing by myself without any authentic reference. TBH after interaction with the recurrent topic the adoption of new ideas seems like lost in mess.
451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage as Business on: December 22, 2023, 07:49:31 PM
Arbitrage trading is discouraged by many community members, even by the many platforms.

Is it really? Platforms should actually thank arbitrageurs because arbitrageurs make asset prices across exchanges more aligned/accurate, so there wouldn't be huge price discrepancies over multiple exchanges; and simply due to the fact that arbitraging still gives trading volume(hence fees).

What about regulatory limitations, I acknowledge the role of the arbitragers but there are more dark impacts of the arbitragers for themselves and for the overall market compared to their contribution in the market.

Also Aribitrage oppertunities in the current market senrios are really rare.
452  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What faucet do you use daily? on: December 22, 2023, 02:29:55 PM
And how do you get the profit afterwards? I mean what kind of transaction you use to get the assets?
I understand it is peanuts one can get from there. But nevertheless.
Is there a risk of AML catch there? What is your opinion?
At the moment me myself get the dust off the BestChange exchange aggregator and in seek of other opinions. There's not much way of BTC acquire left.

Crypto faucets are the old trends, especially in the bear market they are just a waste of time. To acquire Bitcoin use it as your mode of payment but it's too costly these days. Still, the meme pool and the network cost always recover as soon as the shity transaction (Ordinals) gets eliminated.

I thought faucets are long gone. Anyway, Don't waste your time with those as there are many other better ways to earn some bitcoin.

The only time I use them was ~10 years ago when I heard about bitcoin for the first time and I rmember that solving those captchas was such a pain in the ass as my esyesight is not the best so I soon gave it up. And from what I remember, even then they weren't particuraly worth the effort (at least not for me).

Hmm, nice piece of advice but I'm wondering if you as a senior, can be considered as one of the most senior on the forum ones ahh 10 years... Just to say but a significant timespan especially in Bitcoin we can call it rare. I've encountered just a few people from 2012 or 2013, most people are from 2016 to 2018.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO of bull market on: December 22, 2023, 02:22:34 PM
I've already made my comment earlier, still according to the market sentiments and the latest momentum I would say the peak of FOMO is already broken market gave a decent buying opportunity last week, but in the current scenario the funding rates are still not so good and the market is getting overheated I'm damm sure that market will re-liquidate positions.

TBH currently there are no signs of the bearish movement.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Calculation Confusion on: December 22, 2023, 02:07:30 PM
I'm trying to figure out how to calculate this for the sheet...

I'm going long on a trade.

I enter XRP at 0.6221 and I intend to exit at 0.6247 (TP).
But I also intend that when the price reaches halfway (0.6234), I sell half my position and let the other half ride on until it hits the profit target.
I am risking 1% of my $2000 account ($20) on the trade.

How would you make a formula for this, in words?

Appreciate the help,

JH

Hmm, interesting anyway I'm bad at maths hehe, still, I can help by using some resources which Op you can also utilize to have a proper solution for such que=ries sometimes they work efficiently but most of the time they don't here's an example.

Directly generated from the Bard ai

Quote
1. Calculate mid-point exit price:

    Midpoint_Price = (Entry_Price + TP) / 2
    In your case, Midpoint_Price = (0.6221 + 0.6247) / 2 = 0.6234

2. Calculate number of XRP units:

    Units = Risk_Amount / Entry_Price
    In your case, Units = $20 / 0.6221 ≈ 32.15 XRP (round this to the nearest whole number for trading)

3. Calculate half position size:

    Half_Position = Units / 2
    In your case, Half_Position = 32.15 XRP / 2 = 16.08 XRP (round this to the nearest whole number for trading)

4. Sell half position at mid-point:

    If market reaches 0.6234 or above, sell 16.08 XRP.

5. Calculate remaining position size:

    Remaining_Position = Units - Half_Position
    In your case, Remaining_Position = 32.15 XRP - 16.08 XRP = 16.07 XRP (round this to the nearest whole number for trading)

6. Sell remaining position at TP:

    If market reaches 0.6247 or above, sell the remaining 16.07 XRP.

7. Calculate profit on both positions:

    Profit_Half_Position = Half_Position * (Midpoint_Price - Entry_Price)
    In your case, Profit_Half_Position = 16.07 XRP * (0.6234 - 0.6221) ≈ $0.21
    Profit_Remaining_Position = Remaining_Position * (TP - Midpoint_Price)
    In your case, Profit_Remaining_Position = 16.07 XRP * (0.6247 - 0.6234) ≈ $0.21

8. Total Profit:

    Total_Profit = Profit_Half_Position + Profit_Remaining_Position
    In your case, Total_Profit = $0.21 + $0.21 = $0.42
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Black Rock could chose another btc among past forks? on: December 21, 2023, 08:58:07 PM
They could, but I don't see any reason why. BTC is the top 1 and choosing something else without approving BTC ETF would be really strange.

What? I can't get what you are quoting this out, on Op, or just a general statement because Op is having concerns about Bitcoin's Future forks and the Black Rocks policy for the Bitcoin forks.

TBH BlackRock will must have some better plans.

456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and other cryptos will never become mainstream before... on: December 21, 2023, 06:11:21 PM
Hmm, So Op you are having concerns about the global mass adoption of Bitcoin, well that is not possible at least shortly, also with the current network fees, no one would love to buy the Water bottler after paying the skyrocketed network fees. Lightning Network has some exceptions for that.

TBH the adoption Op you are talking about at least I'm not even expecting the next Halving era, it will be after a few more havlings, and at that time maybe there can be an efficient solution for Bitcoin's network scalability issues. But Bitcoin is still the mainstream and for the altcoin's shit i cant say anything.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SATOSHI IS BACK with satoshi@vistomail.com BUT ITS SCAM on: December 21, 2023, 06:00:20 PM
Also the main clue that this is nonsense is that Satoshi would never promote some cheap, nasty thing like OTOM. Bitcoin is his baby, his art, his masterpiece. He would never come back like this.

Haha, there's a point but I'm wondering if he's taking a close look at the current market and network situation if he's alive how would he react to the shit people are spreading on the clean network by the name of Ordinals and other shity scrap. Now I've even seen people calling Bitcoin a good network, which means their perspective is changing but still there's a hope of a consistent network touching the heights of its glory with a clean performance by eliminating the Shit.

I've seen a dozen of topics discussing the network issues. Have nothing to say about what can be the perfect solution.
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi i do Challenge to start from today with capital 3$ trading on: December 21, 2023, 05:54:10 PM
Hi, i do trading with capital 3$ spot trading no leverage.
Im using poloniex for this
I have experince over 10 years not actively traded all those years.
Going to be interesting
I want to see how i will do it in one week 2weeks and month and so after few months.
I Im in ADA now with 1$ of my capital 3$

I have STARTED now today - anyone knows how to get my poloniex PNL ? So i can show here my PNL

Dear Senior, I have some doubts, about how those years are your experience in trading if you were not trading those years, I would say you better call it connection years or How know years because you've never made an entry. I'm shocked to know about the industry and have seen the huge rallies and still having a capital of 3$.

In most of the top-tier exchanges, the swap or trade below 10$ is not possible in the spot market, I'm wondering how will you trade. On top of that the asset you've chosen is a slow rally pair, I know risk management is important but with such capital, the trade should be in the flow of trend to make early and decent profits.

460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Actionable steps to be 10x better than you're on: December 20, 2023, 08:39:40 PM
Hehe,  Grin

First of all, I'm wondering why this topic is not in the help&biginners section because most newbies target that section for motivation= merits. Becasue that's the fact that Help & Beginner section is the most merited section due to higher activity. Getting merits in the trading section is rare, especially for the newbies.

Haha secondly seems like Op is inspired by the motivation Ai voiced Instagram reel, guiding people for the rules of power and having power rules haha, because I've encounter 80% of the OP's points in those reels, it means that Instagram is not complete shit haha.
