Many people got burned in the giveaway, plus staking isn't working as advertised. Good job YellowCoin LOL

Pow stage = 150 M

PoS stage = 100 % interest in 1 year

Why so much interest ?
To limit the dumpers on exchange ?

i don't understand

To encourage holders. People who buy in AsiaCoin will hold for the first year. I'm buying and holding.

For those who question Australia in the logo, you have to consider the fact that there is Australasia. All of east is Asia where the all of the west is the Americanas.

I was under the impression Australia is a continent in and of itself....

That's true but look up Australasia. It is considered the south asia.

I just sold a shitload of BC to buy AC. I have tons of faith in this coin.

The giveaway was extremely flawed. Tons of people got burned even after following instructions perfectly.

448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - FREE AND FAIR DISTRIBUTION - with Multipool on: April 29, 2014, 05:26:14 AM
It appears the developer is smart and will do very well with ShareCoin. I like the innovative exchange that the dev is working on.

This coin is going places.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ShareCoin - Pure POS - No IPO - MULTIPOOL - FREE and FAIR - DISTRIBUTING on: April 27, 2014, 11:24:50 PM
Just finished application.
To the developer: thanks for your work! Please make the distribution as fair as possible. Only fairness will boost this coin to the moon.
Maybe the ones who receive the coins can build a community to support promotion, voting, etc.
p.s.
I had bad experience with COMM because i applied for it, but the dev just ignored my application, even i pmed him (he even did not reply to me, not sure what was going on).

Yeah CommunityCoin was a huge scam. I promoted the hell out of it but only got shunned. The dev clearly wanted to keep all the coins to himself. It wasn't only me. So many other people got burned.

Edit: Not only that, the dev claimed to lose 200 million coins because of a corrupt hard drive. LOL. As if the dev couldn't back it up on flash drives.

The coin is doing just fine, just cuz the coin isnt flooded with fud and shit about black/white coin does not mean anything is wrong.
Actually i think its good, the dev's are working hard, the community is stable and supports the coin, we will enter POS phase very soon. Things are going good, i dont think this coin needs to go on war with other coins, let it develop and run smooth.

+1. You are right.

Where are the supporters of this coin? I found this thread buried in page 3 of the announcements!

This coin is extremely undervalued and has much less coins in circulation than WC.

Wake up people!

Can I put out an official thread meme request for AsiaCoin... something with AC Slater from Saved by the Bell.

I don't think he's trolling. Just being honest, and wanting some real developments. We need more guys like this to come back, buy more coins and be part of our community. Not piss them off.

I hope you come back Alty, buy some more cheap coins and be part of the building efforts on this thread.

Alty is a trader, not a community builder. There is no need to be negative and shoot down ideas that leads to infrastructure building around AC.

I doubt my intentions are any different to anybody else that posts here.

We are here to make money. End of story.

I'm not interested in what you have to say about making money. I'm interested in AsiaCoin having a good future.

Now, if you have nothing positive to say, then please go elsewhere. You are not needed here. Thank you!

Guys, I don't want to offend anybody with my previous comments, you're making an effort, which is great.

I just want to hammer home the following point.

Traders make the coin. Nothing else.

USB sticks aren't going to cut it.

Whoever can appeal to traders more than any other coin... it's game over!

I'm trying to think of how this can be done. It's not easy.

Multipool was one great idea, there must be others!!  Huh

Why are you even here in this thread? Why do you care so much? How will it affect you? If you cannot answer these questions, then please go away.

Because I used to own nearly 3 million Asiacoins, sold them and now I may or may not come back and buy even more.

I'm sorry you are so finicky. It's pretty obvious what your intentions are.

We have DDoS protection and it has been in place from the very beginning (we have been under DDoS from day 1), unfortunately there is no perfect DDoS, especially because stratum port is vulnerable. Today's DDoS was very similar to what true miners behavior and it was very hard to filter it.

I understand. I really hope it gets resolved as soon as possible.

http://ac.pool.mn pool has been under massive DDoS attack, the server went down and after reboot wallet.dat file of the pool is not accessible, deamon gives the following error:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
what():  CDB() : can't open database file wallet.dat, error 12
If anyone can help restore private-keys from the file please write to me or to the pool's email. Reward for help!

I have no idea how to help you, but didn't you consider installing DDOS protection after being attacked before multiple times?
