I have a question. Can the router holder place limits for those ads contents as he want? For example, if the hotspot is located near school and we need to secure kids from some information.
Yes. There is such a feature. You could put the limit and do not show ads 18+. Also, you can provide target settings for those who are using your router.
What about the cost of posting ads?
You get fee for posting info per mouth, or somehow else?
You get tokens for each view of an ads post. More people use your wifi, more profit you get. You can change your tokens into different cryptocurrency.
So, I think it is quite comfortable for router owners and advertisers.
Yeh, it is clear. I don’t understand about fees. Who will fix that price?
Will it be done by advertiser or the system by itself?
Like it is said in white paper, the price depends on number of ads impressions per mouth. It is a common price for all advertisers.
Can you send me the link for the white paper? In English, please.

445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QBE] World's first decentralized employee marketplace - PodOne on: March 05, 2018, 10:56:41 PM
Hey, can somebody tell me about how interesting is this project for investment? It is cool for people, who work with call centers.
But what about people, who want to put their money and get profit?
This project is highly recommended by Jonh McAfee))) I think this fact can be trusted. He looks to the future and he is realistic about it.
It is interesting, but I need some specific fact to make my decision. I agree with you about Mr. MacAfee.
He really is an eminent personality.
Well, it is a good way to invest some money, because this branch of industry will work forever. Each company work to improve their services for buyers. The best way to collect info from customers is till phone calls. Also it helps to sell products and many other staff. I think PodOne will be popular.
And why do think so?
I mean that this service offers many easy solutions for modern business. A company won’t lose money for workers downtime and employees can find a job very soon. Faster will develop the project, faster you get profit.
All right, you’ve got the right idea. I see that I need to hurry up before it is too late.

Who knows which wallets could it be used on PodOne?
Have you read the whitу paper? Your wallet needs to be comparable with erc20 standard. Almost all of popular cryptocurrencies are using this standard as well. You can find more info on the Ethereum website.
I know about erc20. I just wanted to be sure, that this system supports ethereum wallet.
I briefly read the white paper, so I have some questions too.
I understand know. Take a look on their facebook account or telegram, channel. There you can find more answers.
OK. I’ll try to find there.

451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark.com ★ Scrypt ★ Bittrex ★ Cryptsy ★ Mandatory update! on: October 20, 2014, 11:36:24 AM
@Bitcoin Operated Boy - No need to be condescending.  Wink I have been here (LTCD) since the beginning and in cryptos long enough to read thread after thread full of bitching and whining. This thread is quite positive actually. The only reason for me to post anything at all is the community aspect of the coin. I'm not really active on bitcointalk otherwise but I have read every single post in this thread. I can see that there is some propaganda going on here but it doesn't bother me.

What I don't like is when people call others stupid for selling low. It's really not constructive. If someone feels the need to sell, it is their choice and someone else will get cheap coins. That nonsense should just stop imo.

I've also read every post and been here since the beginning.  I think people are tired and frustrated at the seeming lack of positive movement of the price,  which causes people to lash out and call sellers weak. Although I've seen the price drop to 800 and smash through to 1700 in several weeks,  I too am baffled at the stagnation of the price. I do however, believe that trollbyfire is a 1 on a million dev who puts the coin before profit. So.. We need talk of price, and we need talk of features, and lastly we need strong hands to grasp the oars of the community boat that is LTCD
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark.com ★ Scrypt ★ Bittrex ★ Cryptsy ★ Mandatory update! on: October 17, 2014, 09:17:27 AM
880 blocks left till we get 16 reward per block I would be holding and not selling cheap but that's just me lol  Grin

I'm curious to see wht the net hash will do then

Yeah me too. More curious about the price though
I see 2 options :
-Net Hashrate falls and adjusts to current price, price may rise a bit
-Net Hashrate stays more or less the same, as well as difficulty. Price adjusts because miners don't sell. Big rise in price.

Honestly I hope for the 2nd option but, I think it depends on the determination of miners to be able to hold. Normally miners don't mine when it is not profitable..

I agree with your assessment. I have a feeling that the miners of this coin are quite eager to turn a profit, with the stagnation of the market. If the miners have held this long, I think the reduction of rewards may make the price increase. Remember, miners are the majority of sellers here. If there is less supply from them, the price will increase (in a simple world).

Maybe it's an idea to make a sitepage strictly for the new addons and functions added to LTCD. I try to keep up, but it's hard to scroll through all the BS Grin

Good idea.. Let's have an ANNOUNCEMENT thread where Robbert, Xircom and Troll can post their progress freely without replies getting in the way.. They can direct people in this thread to go and view the announcement thread. People will be able to see EXACTLY what's going on, what has happened etc.

Xircom, want to set that up?

That's ok. We're an open community here. Every person is welcome, no matter what language they speak. Smiley

Bitcoin has crashed due to Chinese exchanges creating fictional bitcoins. Thanks China. You rarely help anything these days.

I can't seem to find any sources that indicate anyone has made "fictional Bitcoins".

Are you sure about what you claim? I could see China making some altcoin, and then naming it "Bitcoin" in order to create confusion, but there don't seem to be any facts regarding China, or anyone, doing anything to the actual Bitcoin infrastructure.

There may be few reasons.

1. Chinese who invested in BTC sold their coins and invested in Alibaba instead.

2. Chinese BTC farms have become obsolete. Their mass produced miners have become inefficient, because they have been using obsolete chips which use too much electricity in comparison to their mediocre hashing capability. Their farms don't make ROI anymore. So Chinese started panicked mass selling of their BTC to make ROI and pay for the electricity. It caused the BTC price going down rapidly

And allow people like me to buy whole Bitcoins at a complete steal.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark.com ★ Scrypt ★ Bittrex ★ Cryptsy ★ Roll Back! on: October 02, 2014, 11:09:48 AM
We have to roll back the update. Read the last 5 pages back and you will understand it.

What was the reasoning behind the 24 hour window for alerting people? The last fork was very well coordinated and had a long time to be prepared for. Was something time-critical?

yeah lol I wouldn't be worried about the pre mine lol all the fud about it is funny compared to who has 15 million coins lol . Well someone has a great interest in ltcd wich is a great thing to see  Grin

Remember guys, the person who holds all that ltcd has bought it at around 1000 sats. There is jot enough liquidity for him to sell even 1% of his stash without driving the current price lower than his buy price. He owns over $60,000 USD worth of this coin, and he is not going to take a loss. He will only cash out once he can well 160BTC worth of LTCD above 1000 sats. This requires the price to be a lot higher, 4-5k perhaps

You do realize that there is large sustained accumulation underway?

ANY word on new coding developer for us? thnx.

~darylluke.

I agree. Any information on the development of the coin will be a really good thing for the confidence of the investors. The price is stagnant because people are waiting for news, good or bad, so so they can choose to buy or sell.

I don't remember if I already suggested this editing but also the main info on the website but it would sound grammatically better if it was:

"This cryptocurrency has had an impressive hashrate since it's original launch, and also it's name pays homage to Bitcoin, Litecoin, Darkcoin, and BitcoinDark. There is quite a lot of room for improvement, as well as for feature additions that could greatly help this blockchain to survive and thrive in today's crypto-economy. The goal is to launch a fast, anonymous coin, based on Litecoin."

I'm not trying to be grammar nazi. Just a bit of help.

I tried to change as little as I can in original content ;-)

I can edit even further:

"LitecoinDark has been blessed with a high hashrate ever-since its original launch and has grown continuously since then; LitecoinDark's name pays homage to Bitcoin, Litecoin, and BitcoinDark, which immediately increases brand recognition.
LitecoinDark is continually evolving, and as such, there is always room for improvement and developments which would help LitecoinDark survive and thrive in today's crypto-currency landscape. Fundamentally, LitecoiDark's aim is to be a fast, anonymous and secure evolution of Litecoin."
