Teka I do not know what do you refer to but we would like to have more PR presence in the forum today that was supposed to be the big announcement day of the JV marvellous advantages of the new payment system of the nodes with Qbuck. it is 7 pm In Europe right now and I heard nothing.

If there was one feature each community member would like to have added what would it be?
 - For me it would be scalable anonymity.
   Total anon
   List of addresses can see addresses of mine that I specify and maybe even holdings.
   List of addresses can read my chats like tweets or fb wall.
   Shared account that I can setup pre approved with eg. My partner so that we have equal access to spend from it.
  Same level of anon as bitcoin
  Less anon than bitcoin with addresses shown as nicknames.

About the tweets or fb wall rather than only having my client publish it all of my identified friends could forward publish it if we share the intended receivers.

- The reason for the partnership is that by sharing resources we reduce both development time and costs, and in this case we will not disadvantage XC's market position in any way (more info as to why will follow).

- Silverkinguk (Samuel) is part of the XC team and so if he announces something it can be trusted.

- This is not the undisclosed PR-related development that I mentioned yesterday.



P.S. I've been aware of this development, but was not aware that it would be announced now. My apologies for the confusion.

If there will be collaborations within coins XC community members should know in advance in order to get in early in the other coin at least and get the benefit. It seem now that just the Inside circle members know about this invest in the coin early and take advantage of the XC community. I am here since two weeks from the start of XC and have all my BTC invested in XC and now I feel kind of abused sincerely.

Having said so I hope this JV will benefit both coins I hope to get some BTC to enter QBK at this stage......I would have liked to get in early though.

It's a development partnership, not a merge. A development partnership is where you pool resources to achieve a mutually beneficial goal.

The benefits do not need to be symmetrical.

The benefits will not create competition for XC.


I think a fair number of people in this thread need to understand the value of collaboration. Crypto is in fact a community, albeit a contentious one, and community is strongly relational. Broadly speaking there are two ways to be relational: to contend or to collaborate. Behind the scenes there are some devs collaborating. Out here there are a bunch of people bickering.

Can you stop and think about how this stuff actually works?

having seen how silverkinguk attacked Old XC community members as fudders makes me very sad. The language and tone used is not really up to XC PR standards as well. Jaque de moley and akula never posts on this thread and cannot be considered XC community members but same cannot be said about Battbot and cyberhaker.

Hope Synechist will post here soon with an apology from the PR Team and hope there will be an apology from silver too. This announcement has been dealt really badly no wonder there has been some sort of disconcern from XC community members... without taking into account that as per the keycoin announcement no info where given before the pump of the coin started.

That just makes the team sound incompetent. Why are we collaborating with QiBuck? XC supposed to be the best coin out there, all tech developed supposed to be original. By collaborating with other coins, we put ourselves with those coins in the same category. Do we really want to be known to associate with QIBuck? If they fail, XC’s reputation fail with it. Do we really want to take that risk? The same thing goes with Dan reviewing other coin. If Dan gave a good review and those coins turns out to be a scam or P&D. What that will do to Dan’s reputation? There are so many scams and shit coins out there, why are we not distance ourselves from them? On top of that, that guy dropped in here announce the news before the XC team can announce it first.

I love the XC team, but this is very sad.
