441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 30, 2023, 09:04:38 AM
Whatever the feeling you get after gambling is what you deserved, the ball is always in your court how you want your feelings to look like after you gamble, if you risk a lot of money that you are not prepared to lose it will ruin your feeling and if you use small amount of money that worth nothing to you then it won't matter what happen after the gambling ends.

The emotions in gambling comes with a lot of garbage, the type I don't want anything to do with, that's why I don't believe in fantasy, it's true that before you can manifest your dream you need to dream about it first, but doing the same with something that's built to bring in money from gamblers is wrong.

Let your gambling be risking small money to have some fun, if you want to make money go out and get a job, many gamblers are jobless and they go around finding people to lend them money, you are responsible for anything that happens or will happen to you as a gambler.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The frustrations in loosing a huge bet when your winning was so assured. on: December 30, 2023, 08:03:17 AM
Having total hope in gambling can ruin your hope in anything else, you don't want to start gambling with all your hope in the games, this is what messed people up fast.

I don't consider making money from gambling, my mind is set on me losing the few dollars again and few times I have been surprised, because I won instead, this is a better feeling compare to having your mind fixed on making money only.

Focus your attention on how much you are ready to lose constantly, maybe per week for gambling, the lower the amount the better you will feel, but winning is not something I can guarantee, but losing is ascertain, that's why you must not think about winning everytime.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 28, 2023, 07:35:25 AM
It's probably a lie for someone like you OP, but not for me, because I know it's near impossible to beat the casino, that's why I believe that having fun and risking few dollars is the best approach to gambling, you think otherwise? Do you thing, but I can assure you that you will have stories to tell about how you lost a lot to gambling.

I have lost some money too but not a lot that could have gotten me sometime better, it's the type of money that I can give someone for free without expecting them to pay me back, it's not worth losing a lot to gambling and it's so possible to end up on this path if you strongly believe in gambling, I don't, and I don't want to, still I choose to enjoy some games risking very little amount of money.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How discipline are you in managing your bankroll? on: December 28, 2023, 06:47:19 AM
I personally don't need to manage anything, I know gambling too well and I know that losing is far more assured than anything else, I only gamble if I have spare money on me, I am a business owner and also a crypto investor, I always make sure that I give 98% of my attention to investment and monitoring my business, and also my family, the remaining 2% is for gambling.

If my business is not seeing a good week I am not going to gamble the next coming week, what I make this week is what will determine if I can make spare money for gambling the coming week, it's not that hard to do, my time is mainly for other more important things than gambling, so I am different from those who gambles full time.

If your goals is making all your money in gambling you need to think again, the chances of losing on the long run is huge, find something to give your time to, source of income is far more important than just gambling only.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 27, 2023, 10:22:27 AM
Define your losses please before talking about fun, because the last time I gamble I use as little as $5 and my monthly income depends on numbers of customers, I earn from $300 to $550, this doesn't include how much I earn online too, what could $5 do to me that will rob me of my fun?

Why are you gambling? It can't be for the fun of it, I agreed, but it's a big part, anyone who is a fan of football knows the thrill of watching a game, even if you bet $1 it's going to be a fun match even if you lose the money, because you can afford more than the amount.

If you are gambling to make money you are on the bad side of everything, no fun or entertainment will feel like in your eye, because all you have in mind is to make money and sorry to say, that gambling isn't wired to give people some good income.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your bitcoin to blackrock? on: December 27, 2023, 09:03:17 AM
Imagine a situation where you own a house and a piece of land it's built on. You estimated the value of the whole thing to be $500k. One day someone knocks on your door and offers you $2m all of a sudden. Will you sell or suspect they know more than you? Maybe there's an oil deposit underneath your house? Maybe there's geothermal energy source? Maybe an international company has plans to build a facility nearby and will need your land for whatever price?

I'm asking this because if the funds get approved all at once there will be a large pressure on bitcoin's price and supply is, as we all know, limited.
Nobody buys bitcoin to sell it cheaper, so if they offer you $100k, they think it will go higher. If they offer $1m it's again going to go higher according to them.
Will you simply give it away once someone hands you $100k, or decide that it's cheap and they know more than they're willing to share?
It shows that there is something about the land that you don't know, if you fail to sell because of it don't forget that anything on the land doesn't belong to you, it's for the state and the government will seize it eventually, it's better to take the money and use that to your own advantage.

Point of correction, many people have bought Bitcoin only to sell it for lower price, the buying high and selling low effect is real in crypto space, some people do get tired of holding and they dump their Bitcoin and that's because they expected faster reaction in the price of Bitcoin.

If I happen to get my hands on a million dollars I will turn myself into a Bitcoin whale, I will go hard on Bitcoin adoption, I am currently doing fine in life and I am contented with what I have but extra money like this will do good for long term investment.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips to avoid compulsive thoughts related to anxiety on: December 27, 2023, 08:04:57 AM
If you are gambling and anxiety is all over you then you are risking what you can't afford to lose, anxiety attacks because you are in fear of losing something and that's money, some people are so good at lying to themselves, how much they claimed to afford to lose isn't what they can afford to lose, this is why I like telling people to start gambling with the cents even if they are worth thousands of dollars, I always do this because it will make them realize the difference.

If you lose some cents when gambling you can never be consumed by anxiety, then from there start using a dollar or two, how do you feel? It's way better than those who use $20 or more to gamble, the smaller the money is the better, anxiety will stay miles away from you.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In The Span Of six months what will make you trust a new casino on: December 27, 2023, 06:47:19 AM
If a new casino launches an announcement here in Bitcointalk what are the requirements or criteria that will make you trust them?
Within six months after they launched their announcement here

Launching a review and signature campaign?

No complaints or scam accusations?

Very responsive representative here?

Good reviews from casino review sites?

Please vote and tell us why this is your choice all reasons are valid points but if you're going to pick one that will be the best answer what will it be?
If a casino launched a review campaign you should know that its all about money, people will give the casino a good review to get paid and that has no single truth in it, signature campaigns are still cleaner and better, it's a form of advertisement to members of the forum, anyone who seem interested can check the casinos out.

Complains and scam accusations can be found online even about big online casinos, like stake or Fortune jack, if care is not taken you can easily believe them, the little that I really went deep on are from people who broke the rules of the casino or try to cheat the casino and they get banned for it, out of their freak out they tend to tarnish the image of the casino, do not always believe every complains you see online, do your own research.

The longer a online casino have been operating the more reviews you will find online but most times you won't get to know a casino until you try it out yourself, the most favourite casino you use can be what someone hated the most, experience are not going to be the same.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Affiliate Program Problem on: December 26, 2023, 01:10:07 PM
Everyone thinks that it's the same old way where you just refer some people and you get some money for doing so, it's not like this anymore, these companies knew that people are abusing referral links, they use different but same hardware to refer each other and get money.

Now things are not the same, your referrals have to also deposit some money and even place money on bets to be marked as a valid referral, if all those you refer did nothing you won't get anything in return and to me it's fair enough.

People like abusing everything, including those that requires making some money, people always want to cheat, they always want to make money the easiest way and faster.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Accomplished What Brought You to Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2023, 12:06:44 PM
I am not there yet, but I am close, although I don't think that I will ever be satisfied even after I meet the target, because I plan to keep level up every year, maybe I will make twice much money I am making now in a year time and I will be able to accumulate even more Bitcoin? I am not near my 40s so I have a lot of time to still accumulate a lot of Bitcoin and I promise to get some for my unborn children too.

The reason why I am into Bitcoin is for financial freedom sake and to also escape inflation problem that have plagued the fiat currency of my country, it sucks keeping my money in bank accounts and it keeps loosing it's value.

Also some people are starting to report how banks are logging them off their account whenever they have over $30,000 in the bank, few banks will even call the cops on you, until you explain how you make the money, and I have a lot of money in Bitcoin that I won't even dare to exchange to my fiat currency and send to my bank account.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 26, 2023, 11:05:55 AM
The sense of control is what many humans lack and they don't care to look into it and maybe develop in such area, but the others that do can dominate in anything, if they found gambling to be a threat they are always ready to neutralise the threat, this is my one mentality too.

I don't smoke and I don't drink, I have friends that do these and they failed to turn me into a smoker or a drinker, I do things my own way and my yes is anyways a yes, if I don't like something and I have made up my mind to stay away, it's a forever goodbye, because I ain't coming back, it's the way I treat people too, if my energy doesn't match with yours, all I owe you is good morning and good night, if we happen to take the same route.

I don't buy the idea of something getting you into an unending pain and you still stick to it, knowing that it's killing you, it's either you run from it or you find a way to maintain your losses dealing with such thing, it's not that hard.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should security be employed in local bet shop? on: December 26, 2023, 09:39:59 AM
For those using local bet locations, the first thing you should watch out for is how tight the security of the casino is, if it's not good I advice to avoid using such place because bad people can target gamblers going in and out of the place, I personally don't like using local casino locations, if online casinos when happened I will never become a gambler today.

In my area, most local casinos don't use security, they believe that everyone comes with good mind to place bet, not to steal money, and even the locations are not well built, as money flows into the account of the casino owner I expect them to spend money on their gambling outlets, you will see some locations and by the looks of it you won't feel like gambling at the place.

Online gambling has less disadvantages compare to located casinos, online gambling keeps you hidden and people around you won't know you are into gambling, when you win no one will also know, unlike those outlets where mobsters and hooligans will be demanding for a share.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 25, 2023, 10:58:48 AM
You can do very well with $1000 investment on Bitcoin, this idea of too costly was what many believed when Bitcoin reached $100, those who missed buying at $10 believed it was too late already, you don't need a full bitcoin, you can just buy some and risk your money on other alts, this is not a financial advice though but I believe that other assets have better returns in a short period of time than Bitcoin, when and if Bitcoin makes a new all time high you will definitely make good money even if you don't invest a lot.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Innovation in online gambling on: December 25, 2023, 10:02:24 AM
I don't know about other games on online casinos but slots are doing pretty well for me, constant updates and new animations, add up sound tracks and few others, these matters if you are a fan of slots games but I get it, many don't even care, who would appreciate those little details when all they care about it making some money?

But I do, slots is entertaining for me, and I always make sure that I slow down the money I risk on rounds, the longer rounds you go the better, this is for slots though, not sure about other games.

My answer is, not everyone cares like you do OP, but I am sure that those who cares are those that cares about deriving fun from gambling, unlike those who wants the money only.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which hosting or domain name providers does shady gambling sites use? on: December 25, 2023, 09:22:32 AM
It doesn't matter which domain name they use, in the past I have this hate for any websites or platform with names like .biz and others, I only trust dot com and dot org but later I found out that it doesn't always matter.

A well funded scammer can decide to spend good amount of money on .com website and still scam a lot of people, this should not be your way of avoid scam projects and casinos, you will hurt yourself if care is not taken, it's like trusting the name instead of looking up into the team. Which is better to bet on? The name or who the teams are? I know this advice is out of gambling but there isn't much of a difference.

If you want to know more about a casino you need to find reviews online and information about how long the casino has been in business, the reputation built over time is the most important part when doing research on a casino.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 25, 2023, 08:45:19 AM
This is a very funny topic, gambling on it's own can make someone to become mentally ill or unstable, and you are asking if someone who is mentally unstable can be allowed to gamble? Thanks for making me laugh on Christmas day, I really needed that, the answer is no, it's a very bad idea because I believe it will just worsen the case of such person.

My question for you OP is how you know he is mentally unsound, there are many reasons why someones look will be like that of their with mental issues, and describing that he wore a dirty dress and also his hairs sounds like someone who is very poor or have mental illness but still it doesn't mean he is.

Not even the attendant knows this, so to me he is not an example of a mentally ill person, he is free to gamble anytime he want, someone with mental issue will only have to visit once and he will be banned from the casino because it doesn't take too long to know that someone has mental issues.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers trickily claims they wins the bet while they never did. on: December 24, 2023, 12:15:24 PM
Assuming we believe the lies, what will happen next? Try it out and see, after the try out what do you think will happen? The truth, so it's not a big problem when people believe in the stories of gamblers, either truth or lies it doesn't change anything, you try it out, you get your answer.

How long can someone lies last long in gambling? It's either they get lucky or not, the same is also for you, even if you use the exact same skill they use, the results ain't going to be the same, if you understand the true meaning of luck you won't even take stories from gamblers so serious.

Some gamblers like myself knows that luck is all you need to make money in gambling, there is no one that can tell me otherwise, if you are not in luck you will lose your money, know this and know peace with gambling.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features of the worldview of a gambler on: December 24, 2023, 11:27:30 AM
All I can say is, try to enjoy the games more than expecting to make some money, unless you are already an idiots, we all know that it's very hard to make money in gambling, how hard can this be to accept?

Use what you can afford to lose, gamble on games you like and make sure you don't spend too much time on casinos, you need to set some.boundaries, getting too involved with gambling can create a different desire in you.

You have a life to live, enjoy every minutes of your time and avoid setting yourself back to the beginning, don't be a reckless gambler, instead be strong in mind and accept the truth, gambling can't ever be a source of your income, it can be a sure source of entertainment.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do casino owners benefit from creating multiple casinos? on: December 24, 2023, 09:59:47 AM
If they have the money to fund extra casinos why not? A casino can generates billions in dollars per year and use the money to build another casino from scratch, when your business is lucrative even if it's not casino, won't you find ways to expand?  Why are we going to keep complaining about it?

As a gambler, your role is to maintain yourself in gambling, see how far you can get lucky, assuming I am gambling and having some luck on Stake casino and I heard that they now have two extra casinos, what do you expect me to do? Quit stake because they have more casinos?

Although this comes with a lot of risks, as some casinos can't even manage more than one, yet they proceed and they will end up hurting the main casino they are used to managing, the whole business will crumble.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that this is aperfect analogy of how gambling addiction starts? on: December 23, 2023, 03:11:26 PM
The man in the video is right, if you are starting out on gambling do not have the mind of making money from it, do it as yes I am ready to lose this amount of money today, the guarantee of winning is far away from gambling itself, you will only get addicted if you try hard.

It's not your job where your skills are the only thing you got to get paid monthly, there is no income stream in gambling, don't even bother learning some strategy, as a gambler you are automatically at risk of losing your own guide one day and start risking it all on gambling, this is why the time and energy you spent on gambling should be limited.

So limited that you won't feel like you can't do without gambling everyday, if you are feeling like this, it means you are already slowly getting addicted and you need to stop, most addiction happens because people want to make money and they choose to use gambling, where it's already almost impossible to make money.
