442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking about long time investment on: December 21, 2014, 01:58:42 PM
If you want to invest in crypto, you can search xbtc, that's assets you can buy with bitcoin. That asset only you can buy at counterparty
How are they profitable? Doesnt btc prices affect those?
443  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0013 BTC / GHS on: December 21, 2014, 01:58:20 PM
registered and want to invest ! can i get a vip n 10ghs code pls ?

You'd better send PM to OP (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=390933)
I received my promo code so.

Sent pm + open support ticket on their site, still no reply been 3 days,

A service like this  should have better customer support and the OP should make all of us feel at home n welcome using it!

They usually respond within 24H, try to resend a ticket on the website and keep checking the ticket code everyday.

True OP responded today and gave me free VIP + 10gH/S code !  He also said sorry for not replying on this forum as he dont visit here often,.. i wonder why Tongue

All looks good for cloudminr if they stick
I have a good experience with them. Have a subscription, paying out well till now Smiley

No, swings are too big.
600 to 300 is a pretty big swing imo Smiley
Even the one from 0.03$ to 1300$ was Smiley
448  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] ■■■■■ I buy your old btc/ltc/doge address ■■■■■ 》0.01 BTC《 !! on: December 21, 2014, 12:50:35 PM
Still valid, but hurry up, the bubble is imploding fast!!

The price is still way over what you are offering, so you should be least worried Wink

Today low 0.004, i'm not making too much considering the risk involved. I find that some people won't bother claiming clams, tranfering and selling them etc, so i'm doing it for them for a buck or so, before it's too late to get any considerable amount of money out of old addresses.

Even with 0.004 BTC, you get like 0.02 BTC, which is like 3$, But I guess for people who cannot claim it, it should be convenient. Smiley
449  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Pics of Large Bitcoin Mine Under Construction on: December 21, 2014, 09:20:40 AM
Wow great looking building - arnt you worried about btc continuing to drop? Just seems like a big investment.

Great for bitcoin that people are still making investments like these

Whats the rock bottom price, say with 0 cost for the electricity to actually not profit ?
I thought it was in the low 300's but I was wrong.
450  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Browser based mining on: December 21, 2014, 09:19:30 AM
BTCHi,
I know there are quite a few posts about this topic on the forum, but they mainly seem to be about bitcoinplus com. And not only are the fees extremely high, but also does it only work if Java is enabled. What I am interested in is a browser based Bitcoin miner not needing Java and using the computers CPU.
I found thishttp://qz.com/154877/by-reading-this-page-you-are-mining-bitcoins/ and it's kind of exactly what I'm looking for, but the code doesn't seem to be public...
Has anyone know anything similar?

There is zero point browser mining, both CPU and GPU mining days are long gone. You're just burning electricity.
There was a group of students who created something, but it is not worth for bitcoins like dogie said.
However it could possibily be used to mine altcoins.
451  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: 50% attack for ~800 BTC after block reward halving on: December 21, 2014, 09:18:23 AM
I've always wondered what is a 50 or 51% attack?
Its basically, a single pool mining most the coins, and having very high hashing power ,
more than 50% of the total hashing power used.
452  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats the best thing about Gambling? on: December 21, 2014, 09:17:10 AM
Recently, I have been gambling safely with a large bankroll to buy myself small things, which dont cost much.
Feels good to pay with gambling, but always in a risk of losing it all.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Provably Honest Online Elections are Possible on the Blockchain on: December 21, 2014, 09:12:32 AM

So the real problem is:
Do people really want other people to know what they are voting for?
Because that could lead them to problems... if you know what I am saying.
Yup thats very true. Maybe everyone could be given a private key known only to them, and they can vote using that.
But that would be risky as corruption could get the government to create fake keys and addresses.
454  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User trying to double dip from my service on: December 21, 2014, 09:10:25 AM
I dont even know what to say, it seems pretty clear that the OP was trying to be a "clever scammer" and created an email similar to the purchaser and send an email to himself.   The only double dip here seems to be by the gift card seller.
He has been selling trust to the hackforums, and people do that to scam.
So i would be more inclined to think of the op as the scammer.
455  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to win in gamble!! on: December 21, 2014, 09:05:30 AM
Why do you recommend to stay away from Primedice?  Huh Hufflepuff's recently won over 2K BTC on Primedice  Lips sealed

The best gambling strategy, in my opinion, is DON'T  Undecided

2K BTC

WTF Shocked

I won 3.5 million dogecoin is the most
Not sure if he won it fairly though . Just the week  after he withdrew, an account to show some vulnerability, won 140 straight bets at 50%
Might be him after showing his wins.
456  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Sciencehd , IPT and Karagarga trackers on: December 21, 2014, 09:03:27 AM
Guys be careful with this user. He has been involved in a scam for less than a dollar last week.
Will post the thread if I find it.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2014, 08:57:08 AM
Investing in bitcon still kinda strange idea for me. It's unpredictable.

You better start using bitcoin as money. Sell stuff and services for bitcoins. Just use it as currency. Same as dollars/euro etc

And save bitcoins. If expect them to rise in price.
Maybe once the difficulty goes up and the adoption phase happens,
only then can we say that the price would not be as volatile as it is now.
That would be the best time to get in.
458  Economy / Services / Re: CLOUDMINR.IO || Sign. campaign Up to 0.4 BTC/month || 0 Spots available on: December 21, 2014, 08:55:37 AM
Closing of the campaign is the result of misunderstandings related to website development?
I think might be related less help it might be doing for the site advertising.
But a lot of other sites, just chose to run things for a month or so.

The signature campaign must have been very efficient on bitcointalk but it is less effective now and they want to redirect their marketing expenses somewhere else. They will hopefully relaunch a signature campaign again.
Yup, lets hope so. Also, this is kind of the best time to have the sig campaign, specially with the holidays around, and money flowing in and around bitcoin.

I was planning to be a senior member and earn some big amount from this signature campaign. But my bad luck, this campaign is going to shut down.
Well, they would need to have a slot for that, as they wont be able to adjust you in to their current budget.
But, yes sad that this is getting over as well. Has been a good one.
459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it just me or is there a change in perspective.. somethings not as it was. on: December 21, 2014, 12:05:19 AM
I dont even think we will see a real fear unless it goes below 250$. People are getting used to see low 300's.

But overall it seems that the days of the sharp movements are gone, for now.
Well if you own anything more than 10 BTC< then even a drop of 10$ would get you worried,
however having just 1 BTC wont affect you a lot.
460  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Easy is it to Coordinate Price Manipulation? on: December 21, 2014, 12:04:12 AM
Maybe the large bears club with companies like Pyapal. I remember, when paypal announced it, then the prices went up by 50-70$, which could have made those people millionaires.
