441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: March 17, 2024, 07:04:27 AM
I'm not very sure that bitcoin woudl reach 100k before the halving even if we just exceeded our last ATH, we shoudl more be expecting a retracing of price or a dip to occur, and that should be the plan now, so I guess you should be preparing a reserve funds to buy if that dip comes so you can get some extra benefit from after the halving when bitcoin reaches 100k.

Exist strategy is simple sell as soon as it reaches 100k or sell some part and wait to see if the price continues to increase so you dont utterly miss out on everything.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run again, huh on: March 17, 2024, 06:59:14 AM
Bitcoin is a volatile asset and its normal to experience such price decline and increase in short amount of times and anything could trigger this price movement but mostly from selling and buying from investors or big companies, like earlier this year when we were still unaware of the bull Grayscale was actually selling massively and that affected the price to drop about 10% or more and hit 35k, so yeah stuff like this can happen and very often in bitcoin.

443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: March 17, 2024, 06:54:19 AM
I think right now is not a time to sell at all cause of the current market trend which is bullish and we are not sure if we are done yet, and yes the halving us not yet here and we are not sure if we woudl have more price surges or if we would start a retrace.

But anyway I'm not selling my holdings, cause I plan in investing for the long term, and i think I'll achieve more profit holding longer than even selling anytime soon and I guess you should do the same.
444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 17, 2024, 06:47:14 AM
I can see you're now getting the gist , at first try and arrange your post quoting properly, that why I told that most people use shit Coin for short term profit during trading cause of the risk, yeah there people who are making from trading and all that but before getting to that stage , you don't want to imagine the Shit you going to pass through, and it take alot of practicing and skills to get there. But in investing you just need basic knowledge and you good to go with your accumulation. Like when I was still into trading due to the losses I didn't have the guts to recommend trading To my friends but I can gladly recommend them into holding of bitcoin and doing so, I don't have to stress my self to say too much , bitcoin growth as already made it obvious on how amazing bitcoin is . So if you still insist in trading I would advice you to trade wisely and as trading try accumulating more bitcoin ( for holding not trading) and don't let your trading affect your bitcoin accummulation.
Trading is not advice worthy, you'll make a lot of bad acquaintances if you tell people go trading😂
Good point about your last line, there. Holding has proven it's worth, and I've preached it, all every bull run gives me a reference.

Trading is nor the subject of this discussion and bitcoin is not an asset that anyone should be playing around with, it's wrong to give bitcoin the same value as any altcoin and go around messing with it.

Right now I believe that many of us are in very early stages of accumulating bitcoin and our major focus should be on trying to build a proper emergency funds and getting more knowledge about bitcoin, and also a consistent buying no matter the market condition.

Any newbie that deviates from the norm of buying bitcoin into trying to get profits from it at very early stage is actually trading and is messing around with bitcoin, trading is not only when you Invest in altcoin but also when you play around with your bitcoin Invest and that is a note we shoudl all take for ourselves.
445  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLITICS AND LIES on: March 16, 2024, 05:58:30 AM
It's beign human just that politicians tend to do it the most, anyone and almost every person desperate for a position would keep up the act and even tell lies to get what he wants and not only politicians do it, like when I was I high school you would see a lot of people acting so innocent around the time they want to give position, coming early to school and all that and when they are given the position they go back to beign who there were same with politics everyone has a secret agenda and would act innocent to get in.
446  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Raising children in this current society on: March 16, 2024, 05:53:06 AM
How the society is now one has to be extremely careful with the way we bring up our children and then no body can raise our children better not even their teachers who spend most time with them
In this jet age they ( children) learn very fast from as early as zero years..
Parents needs to be alert with the activities of their children until they get to adulthood
But in all prayer is the strongest weapon
I think raising children is one of the most difficult assignments on earth. Most characters exhibited from children this days are being learnt from outside, most times schools and social gathering.
I do no think a parent will ask his child to dip his hands into fire, every parents would want his child to be responsible and well doing but most children decides to be irresponsible and use less to their society.
What is corrupting the children this days is the use of internet, even a 7yrs old child owns a smart phone and his free to access the internet not for knowledge acquiring but to enjoy social lives.
The scripture will say, train up a child in a way he should grow and when he is old he won't depart from it. As you rightly said prayer is the strongest weapon

I would have totally agreed with you but your first statement where you said the character of children are beign learnt from outside that's a lie, before a kid knows anything he first learnt from his parents, I've seen kids just so young as 2 years exhibit character of beign insultive and arrogant and when I look at it one of his parents has such a character and the child only learnt from them, if a child came from a good home and learns bad character outside it is easy to solve such problem with discipline but not when he is learning from you as a parent that one can be very hard to deal with.
447  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your view on abortion? on: March 16, 2024, 05:48:21 AM
Personally I see nothing wrong with abortion cause it better to take them off than to bring them into a world that you are not ready to take responsibility for them, and in all cases of abortion one party or the other wasn't ready to take full responsibility of the child except when it was forced on the woman or given pills that she didn't know.

I think the reason why abortion is viewed as a bad thign is cause of religion and of cause the side effect of doing it too much, it could result to destruction of womb or early miscarriage in women.

448  Other / Politics & Society / Re: God smiles when Americans die, 2(now 3) more U.S. mass shootings on: March 16, 2024, 05:32:31 AM
Men people abuse thigns like drugs just make themselves feel good despite knowing the consequences, nobody loves themselves talk less about loving another, I know the gun rule was put for protection but you can't give a dogs iron teeth and expect he won't bite someone legs off and these peopel are going through all kinds of stress and some are suffering from really bad mental state and clearly therapy isn't doing any good. The only way that humans can ever be stable is if we all surrender to Jesus and be saved, or the holy spirit can bring stability to your soul and save you from the body of sin.

Give your life to Jesus and be exempted from death.
449  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What if we had only one language? on: March 16, 2024, 05:25:37 AM
What if we had only one language?

Note that, that was what the world was like at the Tower of Babel times. God didn't like it that way. So, He confused the languages so that we have so many languages nowadays.

As computers make it easier and easier to translate, and as the world goes into the mode of having like-one-language through computers... well, looks like Jesus will be returning, because God still doesn't like the one language thing.

However, it's quite interesting to look at the reason why God doesn't like it. It's written in the Bible in the history of the Tower of Babel.

Cool

It'd not like God doesn't like the world to have one language but  just look at what human was doing with one language trying to reach the hevens and the kind of sin that was in the land during those times of nimrod.

Anyway having one language would really bring peace to the world cause all the wars and sentiment the world is having is an issue of race and language, the English man doesn't see the French man as his brother and therefore they would fight each other, so if the world had one language there would surely be peace.
450  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What really makes pastors children rebel? on: March 16, 2024, 05:13:20 AM
Just the same way you made this post with some kind of over expectations from those pastors or their children, and we often forget that they are humans too and beign close to God doesn't make them any different from the rest of the world and the flesh can also have its way with them.

Even biblically the children of Jacob also had issues and a different character from their father, Ruben the first born slept with Jacobs wife and can you see just how far this shit went, even moses GOD'S own servant had anger issues that made him not to enter the promise land he so fought for.

The truth here Is there is nothing wrong with pastors children they are humans too and they don't rebel they just act as the as they please, and most of us if not all are Christians so why do you rebel are you not also children of God.
451  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is senile (and Biden is not) on: March 16, 2024, 05:07:59 AM
Seriously I hate political arguments cause at the end of the day I feel we are all part of the game and donf really know what is going on at the top.

I'm not a citizen of USA but I really enjoy poking my nose in matters that hardly concern me and moreover I've watched some YouTube videos on both trump and Biden as the topic of it and there have compared then a lot of times and I've found out that those YouTube are mostly sentimental and would just favour one parry against the other.

But anyway I don't really like any of them in particular cause I head trump was that kind of very strict guy and would just immediately sack anyone that dares opoose him and yeah I feel he also has a strong attitude and is bold enough to be the leader of USA 🇺🇸 cause right now the world is in the middle of some kind of power competition and Russia 🇷🇺 and many other world countries are looking for ways to replace USA as world power or so I think, Biden is too soft to be a president and I would prefer trump over him. Just speaking as someone who doesn't know much so I'll still leave this for those in the country to decide.
452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 15, 2024, 12:54:52 AM
Yeah I gat this point correctly,  that is having a certain level of preparedness in terms well planned funds allocation and being much ready in taking the necessary measure as regards to balancing up with your investment in terms of when the price is goes down  and when  the price goes up in order to ensure you are accumulating good size of Bitcoin in your portfolio and seeing that your overall is in profits, that is true when an idea investor takes an appropriate measures in his accumulation process he has the rest of mind needed to grow his asset.

There likely will be times in an investment that it might not be clear whether progress is being made - especially a guy might be continually buying, and maybe even over 6 months to a year or even more, it seems that the value of his investment is going down rather than up (as measured in dollars), so he could become disoriented and disenchanted by those kinds of dynamics - but at the same time, he might see that his BTC stash size is continuing to go up and maybe even his cost per BTC is continuing to go down, which should cause him satisfaction even during the seemingly tough times that might not even be clear if they will resolve - since we also know that there is no guarantee that bitcoin will recover from every crash, so we have to be prepared for those kinds of possibilities, even if we still assess bitcoin as amongst the best of investments (if not the best of investments).

IMO for us not to be discouraged in hard times when the price of bitcoin is getting low, I think it's better we focus on the size of bitcoin stash and how much we are going to accumulating than beign bothered about the price of what we have compared to when we bought it, cause if we Continue buying even in hard times we would end up getting more bitcoin and eventually balance our total average buying price and it would not even seem that high anymore.

But the problem is that most people love to monitor their investment or are emotionally attached to the price of their holdings and they don't feel good when the bitcoin price is getting low, so instead of taking such low price to their advantage, they might end up in a stage of frustration and delay on buying or would not be very motivated to buy much during that time and end up missing out on good opportunities, that's why as early investors we should not be bothered or moved by market conditions and focus more on accumulating cause that is our only goal.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Have Different Perception Of Gambling Operators on: March 14, 2024, 02:01:23 AM
The case of the cockpit arena can be liken to our online casino that has unlimited winnings and we can continue to bet the whole day and many people instead of despising it would even recommend to others and I think the reason here is cause one they don't know the people behind it, they feel its all programmed and if they get it right they win, but in the other case they are seeing who is taking their money and they woudl see him as wicked cause they can also blame him for a level of manipulation.

The guy on the loto Stand is actually running a kind of luck based business and he takes very little for it, so most persons don't really care about those little pennies lost and some are never luck for even years but they still play because it is very cheap yo play.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: March 14, 2024, 01:56:24 AM
You would be surprised that none of this matters and even if your in such a right state of mind it doesn't guarantee any win, although its good to have your emotions in Check it's also important to know that gambling is all about making the right and accurate predictions and at times I've open my sports bet masd quick picks and it played and I've calmed down and make good pick and I lost.

So I really do feel there is no pattern to getting it right not as tho gambling is like trading that we can rely on good analysis thsi is just like a a competition we can't always guess the winner right an that is fact.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 14, 2024, 01:39:17 AM
Very interesting gambling option and it would take a real gambler to pick the 5 bitcoin offer over the one bitcoin, I've actually encountered this same argument before and many of my friends actually chose to gamble and they said if we actually get it right we are leaving here with 5 more bitcoin than every other person and I think for anyone to go for the risky part he is either crazy or so greedy and in this case greedy.

For me I'm definitely choosing the one bitcoin, that could really solve a lot for me, and I think I could use this opportunity to improve my accumulation stage a bit and if I hold longer it might be worth a lot to me and I don't think bitcoin is an asset worth gambling over.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: March 14, 2024, 01:31:23 AM
If I hear of match fixing, I will stop because I have known already that it is a scam.
The gamblers who will fall victims to Fake Fixed Matches are gamblers who are.
(a) Greedy.
(b) Gamblers not gambling for fun.
(c) Gamblers who have not been scammed before.
Greedy gamblers who want to cheat the process and just want to make quick money from gambling will easily be happy and willing to place bets on this fixed fake matches. Gamblers not gambling for fun will also like fixed games, they are not interested in the fun involved with making a prediction from research, and then watching the games to see if your picks will enter. Gamblers who have not been scammed before may think that there are no scammers in gambling. Scammers are everywhere.

I really hate and disbelief that anyone would really gamble for fun, although I'm not saying it's not possible but how many persons here are actually gambling for fun, to gamble for fun the stake and what you want to win should not even move you maybe your trying to support your team and showing your zeal by putting a stake on them.

You also need to be rich and financially stable and your not looking at profits in any way. So for real there are very few people gambling for fun and I can bet your not one of then either so you either stop deciving yourself or you face the truth.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports that you don’t watch but you keep placing bets on: March 13, 2024, 11:52:49 PM
Although I don't usually do it, I have also done this several times in the past. I sometimes tail other bets even in sports that I don't actually watch. Of course I assume that those bets are analyzed by their bettors. They probably think they are the winning bets. Knowing this makes me feel a little safe. Although I don't know the teams or players and I don't know how they play, I still believe that my bets are winning. Most often I tail the bets of my friends.

I think  most persons just pick based on odds, they would make decisions that if the odds are smaller then it would have a higher chance of happening and even without knowing the clubs or sport they might well end up picking rightly than someone else that knows them and makes a wrong Decision, I cases like this it's all about luck even tho gambling is all about luck but I guess you have to be luckier to win bets like this one.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 13, 2024, 11:49:16 PM
From the comments I've already seen diverse answers and it has occurred to me that everyone would have a different perspective on this, I can't say there is any accurate condition to stop gambling or their would be a sign that we are given on when to stop gambling, so I think it's a personal choice based on the way your are feeling that time and the information you are receiving from your mind.

Unless in cases when we have already set rules, I mostly set an amount I am allowed to gamble out, so if I am winning or losing doesn't matter unless I've exceeded that amount.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 13, 2024, 11:42:00 PM
I've tried so many prediction site and they are not very accurate and at times they are, and why I don't like doing it cause when ever I check them out first before making my own predictions I often get confused and start think towards the direction of their own predictions instead of my own, so I think it's far better to use my own, besides I've often gotten more wins that way that the later.

And I think most people that use prediction site are those that can't predict on their own or don't believe in their personal predictions, so there prefer to take from others and edit it as they want or instead they chose form many predictions available.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Man bet his life savings on 1 spin of Roulette on: March 13, 2024, 11:38:40 PM
Some people are simply idiots. But first I wouldn't believe everything I see in videos like that. Would that man have done the same if there wasn't a camera in front of him? Besides, how can we be sure that they are his life savings?

If they were his life savings, I wouldn't be surprised if he would soon lose them with one gamble or another, or with drugs, or something, because those who take that kind of risk usually end up in a bad way.

It might just be a way to spice the videos to get more views on it, we didn't hear him say it was his last.
There is also possibility that he doesn't end up using them for something bad, and taking extreme risk doesn't mean your leaving on the edge, maybe his last card Is o small that it's worth risking considering what he is looking to get from that action or risk.

How of us here have not risked our last card no matter how small In gambling before, what he risked might be big to us but small to him and I seems fair that way.
