Can somebody please explain the difference between Open Fund Management (OPM) Platform that we have been talking about for months and Digital Assets Management (DAM) Platform discussed today?

Sigh.  No, no, no.  Let me explain this correctly again.  Go look at coinmarketcap.com - there are only 87M ICN tokens in circulation.  The ICO funds raised did not and have not gone towards either the ownership or the pricing of the separate pot of dev tokens.

Investors put in $10,682,515.42 USD to purchase 85 million ICN at a cost of 10,682,515.42 / 85,000,000 = $0.1257 each.  The ICONOMI team put 15 million additional ICN aside in various pots (founder bonus, bounty, etc) and paid ZERO USD for their ICN.  These 15M ICN had an IMPLIED value of $0.1257 also, but nobody really knew WHAT any ICN was worth on the open market until the token hit Kraken.   The answer turned out to be a steady rise to the $0.4512 USD price listed today on http://coinmarketcap.com representing a 0.4512/0.1257 = 3.6X increase in value of ICN in the past four months since the end of ICO.  

If you look at coinmarketcap.com, they list only 87M ICN in circulation - the investor/donator ICO amunt of 85M plus 2M in released bounties.  The remaining 13M ICN in the hands of developers are locked down for (I think) six months after ICO until platform release.  These dev tokens have yet to be priced.  

Consider the day these extra 13M tokens are unlocked and considered part of the total circulation.  Either the value at Kraken will drop by 15% (because there are suddenly 100/87 = 1.15X more "inflationary" coins in circulation) or, if the value at Kraken holds steady, the market cap at coinmarketcap.com will jump 15%.  It all depends if ICONOMI is seen as strong or week at that time.

PRICE/VALUE OF THE 13M DEV TOKENS IS DECIDED BY KRAKEN TRADERS IN THE FUTURE, NOT BY ICO INVESTORS IN THE PAST.

Bottom line: the launch price of ICN was 0.1257 USD per ICN.

I have asked jani on Reddit to track and publish this number daily - no response.  It is a vital feature that needs to be incorporated into ICONOMI and OFM as soon as possible.  Unrealized profit is a critical fundamental support factor for the daily ICN token value.

So...can we get a final tally on how much BTC and Lisk were collected after refunds, and how many ARK coins will be issued at launch in exchange for those funds?  And what is the breakdown between paid-for coins, bonus/bounty/reward give-away coins, and coins held back by the ARK foundation?

I think they are brilliant to use TaaS as their brand name - "Token as a Service" - and if they are lucky it will become as universal as Kleenex or Xerox.  However, it is also a play on words for the famous Soviet / Russian news service.  Not so sure that Russians have the trust level by the public required to become the top dogs in the crypto finance world.  But it shows that ICONOMI has a good idea.  Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

ICONOMI has first mover advantage and let's hope that turns out to be enough.  

All holders of more than 42 ICN will receive dividends that should be 100% of all fees gathered by the OFM platform and 20% of profits gained from the ICNX and ICNP funds.  These numbers may vary and are not yet set in stone.  They will be paid out as ICONOMI gathers fees and profits, which may be several months away.  

God, I love that movie.  It left me so pumped that I went back and saw it again on the very next night when it came out almost 30 years ago.  If you've never seen it, what are you waiting for?

This is an excellent calculation of UNREALIZED profit that should show up as a FUNDAMENTALS PRICE BOOST for ICN.   The more pots of money that ICN racks up that is does not cash out immediately as profits to make dividend payments, the higher and higher ICN's value goes up - and its price even higher, by a speculation / FOMO factor.

LOL.  I understand everything you are saying and have since ICONOMI was first announced.  Thanks for going over it again for other readers who are still learning, tho.  I summarized the conclusion of the article as a TL;DR.  The reason I posted it is because the guy who wrote it, Reggie Middleton, is guiding the crypto investments of others.  He is a natural to introduce ICONOMI to other fiat investors that are just getting into crypto.  But first he needs to be introduced to ICONOMI.  And I will make sure he hears about it once the OFM is released.

Key point:  The number of Bitcoin wallets have gone from 6M to 12M during the past year, and this is likely to give BTC an overwhelming advantage over any competing alternative cryptocoin.

Somebody needs to introduce the author Reggie Middleton to ICONOMI when the platform is released.

It'll have to participate in a self-regulatory organization and meet other unspecified terms, but it won't have to secure a banking license. As of now, it's classified as a financial go-between.

I meant the word "you" in a generic rather than personal sense referring to Max specifically.  I should have picked different words.  I am too much of a pot-stirrer, even my wife says so.  Probably I should scale back on reading so many conspiracy theories in Zero Hedge....nah.  

I actually trust Max and Oliver from a personal standpoint not to do anything shady with the Lisk treasury.  I just thought Lisk was going to operate under the transparency rules of a non-profit organization, and this PR release seems to obscure more with what it doesn't say than illuminate by what it does say.  The thing that's surprising to me is that Max (to my knowledge) has never explicitly stated that Lightcurve is really a shell company for he and Oliver, and he certainly did not say so in the PR release announcing to the world the relationship between Lisk and Lightcurve .  Maybe I missed such a previous announcement.

Perhaps an arrangement like this is required to get money from Switzerland to Germany, or is the appropriate thing to do from a tax standpoint - yes, I am aware of the Dutch sandwich and Double Irish arrangements used by Apple and others.  Lisk has hit the big time if using a shell company is a serious tax consideration, and it may well be.

Bottom line:  I don't know what I'm talking about.

Another consideration - Lightcurve is a blockchain consulting company.  It is a way Max and Oliver can be paid to work on other cryptocoins besides Lisk.  So establishing Lightcurve almost certainly means Max and Oliver will not be spending 100% of their time on Lisk in the future.
