444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does dollar value affect bitcoin value? on: December 15, 2017, 12:53:21 AM
Im just wondering. Bitcoin is so expensive. What if dollar value get low will it affect bitcoin value?

it is not the value of the dollar or other fiat currency to influence the value of the bitcoin, as it is only its countervalue.
There are external factors (for example: economy, politics, natural events, wars) that can influence both the value of fiat coins and the value of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, now or in the future.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: December 15, 2017, 12:30:05 AM
Hi. How can you recognize pumps and dumps for any coin? Is there any universal indicators? I mean to predict it. Maybe there are some non-market signs (banners, posts, etc.)
Should I avoid pumps and dumps or try to earn some money?
It would be interesting to know your opinion, guys! Thanks

There are 2 different issues: making money with trading, or simply hoping that the value increases significantly.
Trading is very hard if improvised, furthermore, if you want to trade on other cryptomonete I suggest you check their reliability and their development.
You can monitor the various discussions and choose the most reliable and recommended ones.
Otherwise you can simply store the bitcoin and wait for them to grow and take advantage of the various forks.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: December 14, 2017, 05:27:12 PM
now it's official, in the next season the  Var Technology  will also be used in Ligue 1!
currently the Var is already used in the Bundesliga and Serie A.
Also in Liga will be used from next season.
So, now only the Premier League remains without Var.

449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fee is fixed or not? on: December 14, 2017, 03:01:39 PM
Bitcoin transaction fee is so fear.Is bitcoin transaction fee is fixed for any amount transaction?plese anyone explain me.

Bitcoin transaction fee fluctuates a lot. It depends on how many people want to send their transactions and how many of them want to push them in front of the others.

Basically, your transaction fee also depends on the size of your transaction, but it's mainly the huge amount of traffic on the Bitcoin blockchain that's making it fluctuate so much.

A good site to check what Bitcoin fee to send: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
A graph of the Bitcoin Transaction Fee I found: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html

many wallets give an automatic estimate of the fee to be entered for the transaction, but the sites indicated are very useful to set the best fee.
it is important to find the right balance between the lowest fee to be sent and the highest probability of its confirmation!

452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 14, 2017, 01:11:36 PM
We are almost mid-season in the Premier League and some verdicts seem to me already decided:

-Manchester City(49 points) will win the Premier League. Manchester City will make many records this year.
-Manchester United(38)  and Chelsea (35) will easily qualify in the Champion's League because they have more continuity in the results than the other teams.
-Arsenal(30),Tottenham(31) and Liverpool(31), discontinuous in the results, almost certainly will play the last place useful for the qualification to the next champion's league
-Burnley (31; excellent defense) and Leicester (26; Mahrez and Vardy are back those of 2 years ago) possible surprises: they will hardly reach the 4th place but can qualify in the Europa League

453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 14, 2017, 12:56:15 PM
@cicciobtc. I told you, he is not fit for Formula 1 racing anymore. But it was nice for Williams to test him and to give him his chance. Sadly, after the rally car accident, his career is over.

In any case, a young driver with money for the team is always the best choice for smaller teams. I know Williams has the history, but they are not as big as before.

Yes, Kubica will no longer be 100% of its potential, but in the tests it has achieved good results and deserved this chance to return to F1.
His engagement is a risk but also a beautiful sport story!
Williams chose the easy way by preferring money to Kubica.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: December 14, 2017, 12:28:18 AM
Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.

I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.

Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1

So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.

So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.

Cheers!

I think that nobody can improvise as a trader without study and experience. certainly it is easier to lose money without the right skills.
but by studying and with the right tools, in addition to a good self-control it is possible to make profits with trading.

as you said correctly, if it were easy we would all be rich.
455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach 20k price point before Christmas on: December 14, 2017, 12:15:05 AM
Judging the pattern and graph, I believe each btc will cost 20k before Christmas arrives. What do you think?
I don't think so that before Christmas bitcoin will reach $20,000. We do have our different desire for the price of bitcoin to increase and if that happens against to what I believe it will be great. But I don't want to expect more for today, other altcoins are pumping too. But if most of the holders on those coins starts to sell and after profiting on it will jump to bitcoin, $20,000 before Christmas or New Year is possible.

Indeed, prices are a bit hard to predict since last week but I am sure that it will not reach twenty thousand dollars by Christmas. Actually, prices were within the normal correction and thinking that it is very calming for holders like me. Giving a mark of stability for a sure value before the year ends.
Christmas is spending a lot. That is why I am expecting a drop and recover before new year.

whereas in the last 2 weeks the value has increased by over 7k even exceeding 17k, the "20k" target is not impossible, but it could also come down even under 10k!
I'm curious to see what will happen in 2018... the price will stabilize or continue to grow?
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: December 13, 2017, 10:27:25 PM
The final of the Fifa Club World Cup 2017 will be as expected Gremio vs Real Madrid.

But both teams resoundingly risked losing in semi-finals!

Gremio won only 1-0 against Pachuca at overtime.
Real Madrid won 2-1 against Al-Jazira  but was saved by "Var Technology": the 2-0 was canceled at Al-Jazira for a subtle offside.
I can not imagine what would happen with the victory of Al-Jazira! It would been a humiliating defeat for Real Madrid!
Now obviously Real Madrid is the big favorite for winning another trophy.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 13, 2017, 09:07:22 PM
Williams seems to have discarded Kubica.
Now the favorite is the young Russian Sirotkin helped by a $15M sponsor.
Williams will officially announce the new driver on friday 15 december
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League Betting Pool v2.0 | Current pot: £240 on: December 13, 2017, 08:57:14 PM
Added all you guys to the op:

LTU_btc
Rinsend
Welsh
unyil

16 players so far with the current potential pot at £320. I'll probably start collecting money on the 28th or so. Spread the word. If we can get 20 players we'll likely do 5 place payouts. We're also going to be doing a bonus prize for the person who gets the most points from one round so even if you're pretty far down the table and it looks like there's no chance of you winning one of the top prizes you'll still be able to potentially win something by getting the most points in one week.

I hope that there will be at least 25/30 players to overcome the number of the forst pool betting.
Great idea a prize for the best weekly absolute score, so everyone can try to win until the end of the season, even if in the general standings it is out of the game!
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 13, 2017, 08:46:00 PM
I don't know how Washington lost to Brooklyn!!! In reality this was a must win match for them - they now slip to 14-13 in the East and are back in the middle of the Pack.  This will come back to bite them end of the season.
Accept it man that's their fate. You seem to be underestimating Brooklyn Nets not everything that we think of a must win will happen. There were teams that are good at defeating stronger teams and there are teams that are surprising us for their wins. The match isn't so bad in my opinion, it was a close game.

Yes, I am also surprised by the defeat of Washington against Brooklyn, but even more surprising for me is the defeat of San Antonio against Dallas!
Cleveland , instead, won easily with Lebron James who made his new record of assists in 1 match: 17!
