Anti-bump.

It has the same effect as a regular bump, but with ill intentions.
444  Economy / Goods / Re: You Can Learn Bitcoin by David R. Sterry (on Lulu, soon on BN/Nook and CoinDL) on: August 24, 2012, 01:29:28 AM
Hello 'coiners,

Over the past couple months I've realized that there are few resources that make it easy to get setup and to obtain the minimal understanding necessary for using Bitcoin and using it safely. Many people get caught up on technical details which are totally unnecessary for starting to use Bitcoin. So here's a new eBook. It's of a similar length to my Introduction to Bitcoin Mining but is useful for a much wider audience and has more step-by-step instructions in it.

The lulu link is: http://www.lulu.com/shop/david-r-sterry/you-can-learn-bitcoin/ebook/product-20347634.html

PM me if you'd like a review copy, I only have it in ePub format but will making a PDF as well to sell on CoinDL soon.

Reddit thread here: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/yp7uh/you_can_learn_bitcoin_by_david_r_sterry_ebook_lulu/

Thanks,

David
weex, I will voluntarily edit your book and provide feedback/suggestions as well. If need be, I will also pay for my copy of the book. I think what you're doing is incredible and I want to be a part of it.
445  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying Silver (Bullions and Coins) on: August 24, 2012, 01:16:47 AM
Just a shot out in the dark here, but are you from South America Wink ?
446  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Website on: August 23, 2012, 10:05:12 AM
Yeah, and pirate "guaranteed" 7% interest per week for our Bitcoins and look how that turned out. If a hero member screwed us over, you pretty much have an open opportunity to tell your buyer a good "fuck you" once he sends payment and then you get the hell out of here. There's nothing stopping you.
Building upon what I said previously, the way you present yourself greatly affects your chances of making successful transactions. Sure, if you took the time, maybe you could form a paragraph that is grammatically correct, but it's the fact that you don't even take the time to. For a >$10k sale. On a Jr. member account. Using Bitcoins, the anonymous P2P cryptocurrency. You don't see anything strange about that?
447  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] 2 Gifted Copies of Borderlands 2 Pre-Order for 16BTC! on: August 23, 2012, 09:54:05 AM
Hell, I'll do it for 14.
448  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Website on: August 23, 2012, 08:06:26 AM
f'ckin hell, you guys are a hard bunch to please!
server costs are about $800 per month, you can get cheaper but we are hosted in a premium off shore facility.

I can easily prove that I own the site for those that require further info and would like more info.

our site is the 3rd biggest, the biggest used to make over 1 million in profit per year, the 2nd i know makes around 200K so...

anyway like I said if your interested your can contact me about it, if your not, well then your not Wink
How can I believe you were able to successfully run a $20k/mo. website when you can't even differentiate you're from your? See, the difference is that your is possessive.

Look, the only reason we're so against you is because clearly no one who accepts the offer will leave happy and make the same profit you've promised without running into legal or other miscellaneous issues. The buyer will not win in a situation offered like this, and no one will een be able to remotely trust you with the reputation you have on THIS FORUM. Not some other bullshit site that tells us you've made large transactions, but this site ONLY.
449  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS]$20 iTunes gift card for 1.3BTC on: August 23, 2012, 07:07:33 AM
That's weird.  I thought this price is cheap enough.

@grue, we index usenet.

flippa.com profile: https://flippa.com/users/91453
$152,325 in value across 17 transactions

Feel free to message me there to confirm its my account! Wink
So far, you haven't showed any legitimate reason for us to trust you with $XX,XXX amount of money. You suddenly pop up out of nowhere, type like you're Nicki Minaj or something, and the first thing you do is make a WTS post offering some website that none of us know about and that may OR MAY NOT exist for thousands of dollars. Not to mention, the site could very well be illegal and for all we know you could be a criminal as well. LET US TRUST YOU, but you have to earn that trust first.

457  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] King Arthur, Bless Me Ultima, Mythology Audiobook and/or Torrent on: August 21, 2012, 02:04:42 PM

there are 2 private tracker sites which is best forever for books

1 - abtorrents.me
2 - bibliotik.org

and these 2 sites are very rare Smiley if you need them send me private message and i'll get you !

you can check my selling thread here -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=86299.0
That's great and all, but I really only need the three that were mentioned. If you could check that one of the sites has at least one of the torrents I'm looking for, I'd be willing to pay full price (even a little more for putting you through all that trouble).

459  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Playstation 3 w/Controller + 7 Games on: August 21, 2012, 07:43:34 AM
This is such a ripoff that it IS funny.

I used gamestop's used game prices as a guideline to price these. as for the conversion rate, its using the price mtgox is at the moment. (http://btcticker.appspot.com/)
Apologies, my mistake. I assumed PS3 fats were cheaper, just looked it up on ebay. Used PS3 fats are still too expensive considering their age, but the blame isn't on your end Wink . Carry on.

The last I've seen a torrent for one of these in audiobook version was on Demonoid and we know that won't work out anymore Roll Eyes . Anyways, I'd somewhat prefer to purchase a copy through legal means, of each of these books-
King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table by Roger Lancelyn Green
Bless Me, Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya
Mythology by Edith Hamilton
