Imola is back as the "bonus" GP.

I don't like it was better having Mugello or Portimao.
They kept the most boring of the 3 races, meh.
Yeah, Imola probably wasn't preferred track by fans. I would have liked to see Portimao or Istanbul, Mugello is good track too. But it's still not announced where they will race on 25th April, probably it will be one of these tracks.
It will be strange to see Australian GP in November. And I still can stand that last races will be held in extremely boring Abu Dhabi and probably not much better Jeddah track. I miss times when season final was held in Brazil.

I read/hear it a lot that a lot of fans want Brazil back as the final gp. I think the were also discussing this on WTF1.

Abu Dhabi is just a boring race. They should just try out another layout. The can switch around a lot there.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 13, 2021, 02:51:31 PM
I haven't gambled for about 6 years now, so most of what I earn in signature campaign are invested and hodl. I am still a student so I do not have that much use when I convert my BTC to local currency, I think that it is for the better that I stopped gambling even though the money was rolling back then, I do not feel any joy after playing a lot of games even though most time I am winning.

6 Year OMG. But would it be different when the payout would be directly into your casino bankroll?

Sir... Sir! WE must leave this House today!

I am wondering what will happen in the coming weeks. It's already a big shame that Trump won't be at the inauguration of Biden.

I don't understand why everyone is complaining about those hot wallets. With hot wallets the sites secures that when they are hacked they don't lose that much money. If they put on all their money in a hot wallet and its all gone, they can't payout anymore.

So better to wait a few hours then wanted to withdraw and get the message that they aren't able to do it anymore.

446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest mistake you've made on crypto? on: January 13, 2021, 07:08:45 AM
I had 35 Ethereum and i invested in two shitcoins (CYFM, MFTU) and now 99% of my capital has been ruined with this shitcoins. This is my greatest mistake in crypto. Taking lesson from this, i never invest in any shitcoins rather i try to invest in top coins which is reliable. Top coins never ruins the portfolio totally like shitcoins.

The number of shitcoins is increasin everyday. Every noob can nowadays create there own coin, copy some white papers and scam everyone they want.

It is hard nowadays to find the promising coins between the shitcoins.

Seems that the GP of Monaco is also not sure. They have to close of course all the public roads and they don't want to do that in Covid-time. Just like it was cancelled last year.

The organisation got time till begin May to let the F1 knows if it can continue or that it going to be cancelled.

some new transfer rumors...

Sébastien Haller join ajax amsterdam
Quote
It would be the most expensive transfer of the winter so far: West Ham striker Sébastien Haller is set to join Ajax according to French sports newspaper L’Équipe.
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-forward-haller-to-join-ajax-most-expensive-signing-in-dutch-club-rsquo-s-history/view/news/377280

Ajax coach Ten Hag worked before with Haller at FC Utrecht.

He will be good enough to replace Huntelaar which retires after this season at an age of 37. Huntelaar came back to Ajax few years ago to wind down for a few years but he didn't do that att all. He still scored a lot of goals and was very eager when he had to play.

Transfer news journalist seems to have verified Hallers move to Ajax from West Ham. I think the deal is good for both parties because HALLER has struggled in the English premier league; also it is a big win for both clubs. Ajax get a prefered cf; West ham gets back their funds.

Sébastien Haller played in the second half this weekend against PSV. Too bad his goal didn't count because he was a few inches off side but he left a good impression.

He is the kind of striker Ajax prefer.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: January 12, 2021, 12:33:13 PM
This weekend there was a good opportunity for in-game bets with the game Ajax - PSV. PSV came on 0-2 after 21 minutes.

Ajax became much better in the game and almost won it but the game ended at 2-2. Too bad I wasn't online during this match.

Formula 1 2021 Calendar will be consist of 23 events and would start with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 28 of March and ends with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 12 of December, I am sure excited for every event that may occur, and due to COVID-19 regulations, some events will surely change regarding the status of the drivers and situations that may occur but still looking forward that all event will be held peacefully.

Let's hope all drivers won't get Covid this season.

On the other hand if Hulkenberg can replace them he still got a chance to get on a podium.

https://us.motorsport.com/f1/news/2021-calendar-announced-imola-australia/4966187/

F1 added Imola to the 2021 calendar and Australian GP is moved to November. You can find the revised calendar too from the link above. I am glad to hear that Imola GP is added. But I would like Turkish GP to be added too. I think it is one of the best tracks in F1.

The Turkish GP was very great. Maybe it was last year that spectacular because of the weather but I even with dry weather it would still be a great track.

Still no news on the Hamilton contract... wonder just how long this will drag on? Of course it's impossible to tell if there's any real problem here, but still, the negotiations are taking a long time. Really if the two sides can't find an agreement, you'd expect Hamilton to blink first, wouldn't you? Surely? Mercedes can find another winning driver, but Hamilton can't find another winning team. He has the all -time record of 8 championships squarely in his sights, and is financially set up for life - surely he wouldn't refuse to sign because of a reduced pay packet?

Hamilton has the opportunity with Mercedes to get the 8th title so I why playing it so hard?
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest mistake you've made on crypto? on: January 12, 2021, 07:32:48 AM
Hello,

The biggest mistake is me buying 700 Zclassic coins at 2.3$ and selling them at 3.7$ the day before they pumped to 230$ a piece.
700$ profit in stead of 160000$ profit.

still bothers me to this day.

Well that really hurts. Especially when it was pumped the day after.

I sold two bitcoins for $250 each but that was years ago so I could made more if I saved them but it's been so long ago that I can live with that.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 12, 2021, 07:06:21 AM

I am really surprised with this news. Renault had a great season I think. It finished the season 4th and Daniel Ricciardo finished as 5th. I hope he can do nice things again if he goes to another F1 team in the future.

They had a great season. They did much better then expected.

Probably he is leaving because he still have to get that tattoo.  Roll Eyes

https://us.motorsport.com/f1/news/verstappen-time-ticking-title-dreams/4959816/

Max Verstappen says that he is not worried about being the champion in F1 now at all. He is still very young and I think he will win the title in the future. Mercedes is too powerful in this turbo hybrid era but I believe this dominance will end in some years.

Verstappen is experienced and still very young. He will be champion but too bad not the youngest ever anymore.

Next season he wants to destroy his new teammate.

Renault team boss Abiteboul leaves directly.

455  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinPrice.is - Real-time BTC <-> USD price conversion tool on: January 11, 2021, 07:32:20 PM
This looks nice. Normally I use preev.com to check the current price and for conversions.

It would be nice if you add any other currencies but maybe only euro to start.

Mostly I also visit preev every day because it is the most popular one for years.
Since I use chrome, one feature that I like from preev that hope you could implement on https://bitcoinprice.is/ is the price shown in the Tab-bar, as simple as that but really convenient to stay up to date even without having to click the tab to check the price. I prefer your site over preev though because it shows more than just the price.

I am not quite sure what you mean by tab bar. Could you show me some example?

He probably means the tab in Chrome.

That's a great feature also. No matter which tab you are using, you always see the latest price.

Ah, yes. Sure why not Smiley I've changed title to show price first.

~

yap that's right, check google chrome it called 'Tab Bar'
Usually, I let the tab/page stays open while using chrome, don't have to check the price and reload it every time because the price is always shown in the tab.

Yep, if OP add this feature and the possibility to change the currency I would start using this one instead of preev.

Maybe some more stats can be added to this project. The percentage of price change for the last 24h/7d/1month.

Ability to change currency is coming next. Will probably work on it next week or the week after.

More stats is also a possibility. % change in last 24h/7d/1month/1year should be easy to do. Will have to see what the best way would be to get historical price data.

Adding more price sources like Bitstamp and Gemini is also in plans.

Hopefully I can begin work on some of these in the next couple weeks.

Good to see you like all the ideas.

The price is the tab is great. That was the biggest missing feature.

Is bitcoin broken?  price is stuck @ 33119 USD

Well below the $3200 at the moment. I see this going be dumped below the $30k if it goes like this.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: January 11, 2021, 12:44:11 PM
I myself have made a stupid bet as a result of entering the wrong base bet on the dice bet. This is a regret that really stressed me out at that time. because at that time in 2017 on the Bitsler site I made a deposit of 0.25 Bitcoin. and with basebet 0.02. only 4 Rolls at that time my balance ran out immediately.

I did the same with dice. I wanted to do 1200sat bets on 9900x but did 12000sat. I noticed it on time and fixed it but 100 rolls later I would had a hit.  Cry

I could be a high roller that moment.

459  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bustabit Winning Strategy [WTS] on: January 11, 2021, 11:59:40 AM
Is anyone really buying this? Is this legal? If OP has the ability to defeat Bustabit through this strategy then definitely he is millionaire right now and he don’t need that 1 BTC. If I were him I will keep that strategy for myself before that strategy leaks to Bustabit admin unless it’s legal then there’s nothing to worry about.

Well it's legal to sell it and no one would ever by this for such price.

If the OP isn't using it own his own he can never find a buyer for it.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 11, 2021, 11:58:15 AM
Most of the signature campaigns I participated are from crypto gambling business and I'm happy to promote them as I myself is a gambler. yes, I spend the money in gambling, and never regret that as it gives me some entertainment without risking my income in my business, wearing a signature while being active in the forum really is an opportunity and I'm happy with that, so I'm happy to gamble without worries.

It's a nice thing that you are gambling for fun and entertainment which should always be the main and fundamental reason for gambling and hence you don't have any regrets since you aren't gambling with funds you earn from businesses etc, and in that way you aren't getting addicted to gambling because you are limiting your gambling budget to the amount you earn here. Many people go beyond and they try to chase losses back which pulls them in the trap!

Signature Campaigns is my main reason why I earn profits. And sometimes I try something new. Bitcoin is always one of the best way to earn. Although bitcoin is not that so stable and always to risky, yet you can be aware of the issue or the risk if you are well knowledge. It is such a hard in joining signature campaigns but it is totally worth it when you got in. I remember my first earnings in signature campaign, I put some in my savings and things I need to buy and like 5% of it I used in gambling. Gambling is one of the source of happiness for me. I always gamble but responsibly and very cautious because I experience losing a big money because of greediness.
As long as you are gambling with your signature earnings only then its not that bad as someone lost money which they earned by working in an office but money is still money so if you can't afford to spend for gambling then better don't do it. Or simply gamble with minimum bets for more time period just only to satisfy your gambling urge.

I don't know if minimum bets could satisfy my gambling urge and also not for others. We want to see some big hits and not some small hits which brings us  a few $1 profit.

But if you can't afford to lose signature campaign earnings on gambling, you better find a real job.
