441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: November 03, 2019, 12:04:44 PM
henceforth you should be more careful in choosing projects look for projects that have managers and experienced teams. if you don't know, try asking someone more senior in the cryptocurrency community. don't be easily tempted by large prizes and don't easily give your KYC.
for this problem you should contact the project manager and telegram admin. try to keep contacting them until you get an answer.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: November 03, 2019, 10:41:21 AM
of course if compared to 10 years ago the mass adoption of bitcoin is growing. if we look at the number of countries and cities that accept bitcoin is increasing and the number of bitcoin ATMs scattered throughout the world is also increasing this indicates that bitcoin has been headed for mass adoption. and for blockchain technology is also increasingly developing banks, companies and industries that implement blockchain systems in their companies. and a few days ago we also heard that the president of China also supports blockchain technology. so I think the mass adoption of cryptocurrency is growing well.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You don't want Bitcoin, You don't want Future :-\ on: November 03, 2019, 09:05:18 AM
I don't think we can force our will on others even though it is actually a good thing. although we know bitcoin has many benefits and is reliable in the future. and I also believe that bitcoin is our future. but we cannot force everyone to like bitcoin because not everyone can trust in bitcoin. and success does not only belong to people who own bitcoin. people can be successful and happy because of many things.
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 03, 2019, 05:20:51 AM
yes I agree with you when a crisis occurs part of the stock market will be affected and this makes some investors will secure their assets to a safer place. and some of the investors chose bitcoin as an alternative investment. and what causes bitcoin demand to increase in Venezuela is because there is hyperinflation, which causes the fiat currency to fall. so they looked for alternative payment methods and they chose bitcoin. bitcoin can be a solution when a country is experiencing an economic crisis.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: Cost of Living Comparison on: November 03, 2019, 04:03:08 AM
the cost of living of each person is certainly different, we cannot compare it with others. and of course the cost of living in each region is different. because every city has different political and economic policies. so I don't think we need to compare our living costs with other people's living costs. what is important is that we can meet the cost of our lives and live happily I think that's enough.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2019, 02:56:44 AM
in my opinion when the stock market falls, some investors might move to invest in bitcoin. but I think it will not affect the price of bitcoin. because the amount of bitcoin purchased may be only a little.
in my opinion the most impacting on the increase and decrease in the price of bitcoin is the news about bitcoin and FUD and the whales that make purchases or sales of bitcoin in large quantities.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. Government Tried To Shut Down Bitcoin on: November 03, 2019, 01:50:40 AM
some governments are always like that they try so that bitcoin cannot develop. because they fear that bitcoin can be a threat to their currency. they always regulate and control the people's economy with national currencies. so it's natural that they don't like and want to turn off decentralized bitcoin. but I am optimistic that not easily turn off bitcoin. because now bitcoin has developed rapidly, has a large community, capitalization and trading volume.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority of blockchain project has lost focus on: November 02, 2019, 12:58:06 PM
blockchain technology was not created to cheat. the number of scam projects is the fault of its users. not the blockchain technology. and there are some scam projects that in my opinion initially were not scam projects they just failed to develop the project maybe because of lack of funds because there were no investors. the number of scam projects has resulted in no investor willing to invest in new projects. therefore we must be more careful when participating in new projects. don't be tempted by the promise of a large token gift.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No other currency on: November 02, 2019, 11:13:02 AM
yes I agree with you if there is no other altcoin then the price of bitcoin will be more expensive. because everyone is only focused on bitcoin and this will result in increased demand for bitcoin. and the price of bitcoin is greatly influenced by demand and supply. if demand increases and supply is fixed then of course the price of bitcoin will rise. but maybe if there was no altcoin the crypto market would not develop rapidly like this.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: November 02, 2019, 09:37:52 AM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?

of course you have to invest in bitcoin. in my opinion bitcoin is the best investment tool because its volatility can give us huge profits as long as we want to be patient. and I think crypto will not disappear instead I see the crypto on the contrary growing. many countries and companies are adopting bitcoin and blockchain technology. so I am sure bitcoin will not disappear and will remain in the cryptocurrency market.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom on: November 02, 2019, 08:30:06 AM
in my opinion everyone has different reasons why they sell altcoin at low times. maybe at that time they were in need of money. or maybe it's because they've seen that altcoin won't be able to develop because the manager and the development team aren't experienced people. so they decide to sell rather than if they are not for sale they will get nothing. or maybe they consider that altcoin they have is not so potential and want to try another altcoin so they decide to sell coins.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: November 02, 2019, 07:22:20 AM
yes you are right by using the blockchain financial transactions will be easier, safer, faster and cheaper. and in my opinion this blockchain technology can be applied in all sectors not only finance. with the use of the blockchain the data transaction process will be more transparent. therefore many countries have now adopted the blockchain and even some countries have begun to use the blockchain to make their own cryptocurrency.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra vs XRP on: November 02, 2019, 05:32:12 AM
yeah i think the presence of libra coins can indeed threaten ripple because both of them are blockchain centralized coins. and both come from a company not based on mining. but the ripple now ranks third in the top coins and already has a large capitalization and trading volume. so in my opinion it's quite difficult for libra to defeat the ripple. and we also do not understand that libra will be released properly next year or not because until now libra continues to be attacked by bad news.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: US Congressman: Facebook Should Adopt Bitcoin, Drop Libra Project on: November 02, 2019, 03:14:12 AM
I don't think Facebook will adopt Bitcoin. because bitcoin is very volatile and also decentralized. while this Libra coin is a stable coin. and Facebook will not make libra coins fluctuate. because it is very risky. and can have an impact on the world economy because Facebook has 2.3 billion users. Facebook is a big, rich and strong company. Facebook will try hard so that the Libra project can be realized without adopting bitcoin.
455  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I convert my money into? on: November 02, 2019, 12:08:48 AM
I have about $1k in local currency (Russian ruble) and I strongly believe that this currency is not the best choice to store money for long periods.

As you might know, there was a Crimea occupation done by Russians about 5 years ago. This was followed by sanctions USA and EU put onto Russia. After that ruble devaluation started. It actually could be stopped by now, at least hindered, as some serious people say, but the Bank of Russia(local fed) doesn't do anything. Though it must and has all resources to.

I suppose I will convert it to either btc or usd, I can't choose what is better... maybe I have to store money %50 in btc and %50 in usd... but I read somewhere there can be another global financial crisis soon... perhaps I could only store it as btc, I know there is a lot of people in Nigeria buying btc because its currency is hyperinflated and majority of population there don't have bank accounts. Well, the policy of Bank of Russia can also lead to unbanked population due to the fact there are lots of banks blocking all "suspicious" transactions without even explaining why it is so "suspicious". Oh and you also should tell where did you get this money and where they go to, otherwise we close your bank account, dear terrorist-money-laundering scum client.

I have reasons to believe Russia will finally turn to its African sibling in several years.

I know this is opinion-related topic and I shouldn't consider your answer as financial advice. Anyway I'd like to see what you think about it and what you would do. Even better, you could reason why you think this way.

if I suggest it's better to save your money into bitcoin because bitcoin is a good store of value and in the future the price will be more expensive. but bitcoin also has risks because of its volatility. but I don't think that's a problem because with this volatility we can buy cheap and sell when prices are high. we just need to be patient and not easily panic when the price of bitcoin goes down.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: November 01, 2019, 12:26:27 PM
The bitcoin behavior this year is mimicking 2017.
Has anyone seen what I have been seeing? I think the bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 with a slight difference.
If bitcoin gets to the new ATH in December, who's buying the LAMBO with me? Grin Compare April-May 2017 to now and see what I'm talking about!

I really hope that by the end of thia year bitcoin will skyrocket again like last 2017. This was great for those people who hold and waited the price pump since its first dump. Many believers are holding their bitcoins hoping that someday its price will increase and have a potentially big profit. While analyzing the table, I think that there is a big chance that by the end of this year we will all celebrating.

We are all hoping that the price will have an all time high by the end of the year but looking at the current price, I kinda doubt it, it’s like a month more before the year ends and we are still at a $9,100 mark which is not half yet of the speculated all time high of $20k. I think we will have to wait a little bit longer before the price will skyrocket again.

yes, I also doubt if this year will be like in 2017, now 2019 has only 2 months left. but I salute the post above, with the above speculation shows that we all expect higher prices and it will make a sense of optimism for others. indeed at this time what we need is to build strong beliefs so that we are not pessimistic about the current situation. We know that hope is still not fully fulfilled, but we must remain patient and be confident that tomorrow will definitely make us happy.
457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020? on: November 01, 2019, 11:23:33 AM
Hy all. How are you. Bitcoin will rise to the moon in early 2020, do you know the reason? One reason is that more and more people are familiar with crypto and the digital world. Thanks. Cool
yes, more and more time, I think more people will understand bitcoin. maybe they will learn it when they know that with bitcoin can benefit. they will take advantage of the advantages of bitcoin, in terms of transactions or investments. and I am sure, the price of bitcoin will increase because the number of requests will be even greater.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: November 01, 2019, 08:50:12 AM
Bitcoin is back down to $ 7500 and altcoin is also following Bitcoin, is this to buy BTC when it is going down badly or waiting for the price of $ 7,000,

yes, I think that's a good moment to buy. when we trade, surely what we are looking for is profit. indeed we will never know what will happen the next day. but when you feel sure the price has gone down and you are also sure that the price will rise again soon, that's when your best time to buy. if you buy at that time, you can already benefit now.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 01, 2019, 07:09:44 AM
basically daily trading and long-term trading have their respective advantages, if we have a good strategy. in conducting daily trading, we must have a strategy to be able to get profits every day. Long-term trading will be profitable if we have the right speculation for a long time. the strategy to do daily trading in my opinion is to take profit when the selling price is greater than the purchase price. but if you do have time every day for you to use as learning. I think daily trading is the right choice for you. You can see market price movements to take profits at the same time you can also learn. and in my opinion daily trading can minimize risk compared to long-term trading. in trading we must be patient and don't panic when market price movements are not what you expect.
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: November 01, 2019, 05:12:32 AM
Gold exist for over a 1000+ years maybe? Bitcoin only 10 years. Also the internet existed about 25+ years. Bitcoin price is higher than gold by over 200%. I think the value of Bitcoin is going to sky rocket once again. When technology gets more advance n the Bitcoin system upgrades. Just another speculation.

yes, that's the great thing about bitcoin, I think bitcoin and gold is an asset that will be beneficial if made for investment. gold may have existed centuries ago, while bitcoin only turned 10 years old. I don't think longevity is something that can be more valuable, in my opinion that can make something of value because of its benefits. I think the price of bitcoin is more expensive than gold, because bitcoin has advantages over gold. so people prefer bitcoin over gold and with all that makes bitcoin prices higher.
