Don't forget about LGD gaming but yeah, most of them are in a rise again and with the Dream League season 22 it seems that they're not doing good in the group stages but only Xtreme gaming.
Right, I almost forgot about them after their good run in GOTF.

We're on the final day of the first group stage and we already have two good teams (G2.IG and Team Liquid) eliminated from the tournament.

Imagine if those two turn up later today only to screw their opponent's chances of qualifying.  Tongue

442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You See Losing Your Weekly Payment to The Casino on: February 28, 2024, 12:51:42 AM
Do you see losing your payment back to the casino as your own form of indirect support for the project?

Do you think that I already have a bad gambling mindset thinking that by engaging in one or two bets or games I am supporting the project I promote?

Spending a portion of your payment back to that same casino is likely a form of support because you're returning a small portion they've spent on advertising.

Giving unnecessary support isn't bad and I agree with what Potato Chips said, it's more about how you manage your budget and consistently avoid the thought of spending it all through gambling. Most casinos have low betting limits and deposits so you don't always have to spend more to keep engaging.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Support, do not criticize. on: February 28, 2024, 12:07:33 AM
However, it also depends on the gambler, if he is willing to give up is addiction or not. If he is willing to give it up, then that will not be a problem to him because he has determined it. Such gamblers can be supported on how he can stay away from gambling, so that he can be free from addiction. On one hand, if the gambler is not ready to give up his addiction, it will become a big problem for whoever, wants to help him from his addiction state. This means that for an addicted gambler to be free from addiction, he must also help himself, by accepting to give up gambling during that given period of time.
This is so on point, you can always provide help or support to a gambler who's struggling to break free from their addiction, but if they can't start the change on their own then it might not matter when they don't plan to put in the effort from the start.

There's always someone who will criticize you for what you do and we can't avoid those situations from happening. Instead of taking it to heart, you could view it differently as a form of encouragement or support to start fixing your gambling addiction.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: February 27, 2024, 11:32:30 PM
It's quite surprising that suddenly the Pistons are starting to improve. I'd say that the Knicks are somewhat overrated now, considering they are heavy favorites even when struggling to beat a team with a bad standing. Great pick, @ralle14, as always. Just like you, I also won on this game, but that was betting on the Knicks to win by 1-5 points, and I just got it right with x5 odds, so it's a great day for me too.
Thanks and congrats on winning that margin bet from the Knicks, i've also noticed some of the weaker teams cover these double-digit spreads more than usual so I thought of taking a shot on the Pistons.

I'm also on the Mavs spread, as the Cavs haven't been that consistent with their performance recently while the Mavs could potentially return to their winning ways after losing against the Pacers.

Edit: That final shot from the Cavs was unreal.  Shocked

Great pick for that match during the special as Girona won convincingly 3-0 yesterday.
The sole EPL match sided with the home team with them getting 2 goals within the first few minutes and with Bowen getting the hat trick.

Today's Special has the Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) for me showing up.
You need to select the two forum members to win the final round.
Thanks. Girona had a slow start, then they got more opportunities by getting 7 SOGs in the second half.

Aside from the BSFL markets, there are a bunch of daily specials for the Cup matches and I only went for Man City @1.60 since they can easily win by at least two goals even though they won 1-0 against Spurs in their last FA Cup match.

446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it ethical to break your gambling rules on: February 27, 2024, 02:09:43 AM
So this led me to ask the general public if I am gambling too much, although this excess didn't affect my finances in any way since I still managed to come out with little winning at the end of the day and at some level, my losses are still below 30 percent of my set out money.
With how your situation sounded, i'd say you're doing fine despite breaking the rule. It's still far from being excessive because you could have the same amount of sessions while gambling throughout the three weeks.

For the question, it's unethical because you set those rules to help yourself become a good and responsible gambler.

I agree with the others that it's a warning sign, so it's always best to track your activity, and if it happens again, then it's time to take action or have another rule that prevents you from going over the limit.

Chinese teams cum back?  Grin

Honestly, they're really strong this time. But let's see on TI or even in the next big tournaments like was it Riyadh Masters where the prize pool is high? Those tournaments do matters.
The Chinese teams are indeed on the rise, at least the top 3 (Xtreme Gaming, Azure Ray, and G2.IG), as they mostly have veteran players who recently returned to the scene.

Unexpected change from Tundra while the DreamLeague tournament is ongoing, they kicked MC before their series was about to start and had to find a last-minute substitute to fill his spot.  Shocked

It's unusual to see a player lose their spot during the tournament when changes should always be done after.

448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: February 27, 2024, 12:11:24 AM
I might regret this bet on the Pistons later. Even though they're one of the worst teams, I still like their chances of covering the spread against the Knicks.

They should lose this game, but i'm banking on them to have a good start and hold in the second half since the Knicks are usually getting outscored in the first half.

Also, BOL on your Raptors and Pacers bets. It's fishy when the Pacers have been doing okay while the Raptors are only given 4-5 points.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling games that gives you an exciting experience on: February 26, 2024, 10:46:08 PM
What is your favorite gambling game and what are the reasons that made you prefer it over the rest?
If sports betting is included, I would put it at the top. It doesn't fail to give me that consistent enjoyment because too many things change from every league (players, rules, schedule, format, etc) once the regular season ends. Those changes could make the league more competitive and sometimes unpredictable to spice up things up in the next season.

Aside from that, I would put live table games as my second best only because I always enjoy playing a few rounds of blackjack or baccarat (sometimes the interaction with the dealer can be interesting). If i'm on the losing end, it doesn't feel too bad compared to other casino games.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: February 26, 2024, 03:51:43 PM
Girona has some good enough odds at home after dropping their form in their last three matches. They should be back to winning when Rayo Vallecano isn't as impressive compared to the other teams they've faced recently and hopefully, they shouldn't be too shaken up from their recent losses/draw.

We also have a daily special for the EPL match (Brentford vs. West Ham), but it's tough to pick a side when both of them are struggling.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buying and Selling of Casino Accounts (Discussion thread) on: February 26, 2024, 02:38:51 AM
But why do people buy a gambling account in the fist place? I hear that some criminals buy bank accounts but why do they buy Casino account?
It's like a shortcut for some gamblers to gain better bonuses and bypass restrictions because there are gambling sites that can restrict accounts from future promotions once they see you try to abuse their promotions even once.

It's also an option to avoid going through the hassle of KYC, even though non-KYC gambling sites exist, there are KYC casinos that are simply a cut above the rest.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The odds we can get on our side. on: February 26, 2024, 01:54:56 AM
4. Consider the motivation of players and teams within the tournament. I'm talking about matches where a team or player can afford to lose without much consequence to their place. That is, there are significant matches, and there are those that do not decide anything. In such matches, teams and players do not have much motivation to play.
This method can help, but it can still go both ways because even if a team doesn't have anything to play, they could still pull an upset to end their season on a high note while the other team that needs to win could crumble through the immense pressure to win.

One method i'd like to add to that list is live betting on favorites. You can secure better odds through live betting on a few favorites if you know they have a slow playstyle. Even though it doesn't work every time, it's still a decent alternative if you're very confident in a team that usually delivers on the later half of the match.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: February 26, 2024, 12:46:11 AM
Yes, its currently on groupstage. Just like to ask about DPC points, is it already been removed?
Unfortunately, DPC points aren't a thing anymore after Valve stepped down from hosting DPC tournaments and passed it all down to the third-party organizers to create their point system.

I won't be surprised of Aurora will have a deep run this DreamLeague season.
It's nice to see them do well after the first day, but it's still too early to say since they'll get to face much better teams in the next few days.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Phase Or Are You Slowing Down Your Gambling Activity When.... on: February 26, 2024, 12:23:23 AM
I never thought about this, i just gamble when i feel like it, no matter what's the occasion since you can just open your phone/computer to bet.
I also don't tone down my gambling activities only because of the upcoming holidays. I still take breaks, and it mostly depends on my current situation, as sometimes you can't avoid those times when it's starting to feel like you're overdoing a certain activity.

It's still a good way to take a step back if you need a reason to do so since it's one of the rare days of the year when you can shift your focus to something else.

Mlb season starts soon and sportsbet has a really nice season long promo
That's a decent promo for betting on underdogs, but they might only be available for certain countries since I can't see the promo page on my end after clicking the link.

There's also a daily special for the EFL final between Chelsea and Liverpool. This would've been more favored for Liverpool if it was an EPL match.

Captaining Watkins will give me ~10 points differential against most of you that went with Haaland and that should compensate a bit.
I did the same with Watkins and it feels great to climb a few spots after continuously going down the ranks these past few rounds.

I was also forced to use my free hit because of the postponed match between Chelsea and Spurs, but I failed to take advantage of it, as I only gained a few points.

I just should have trusted my instinct, that's 18 points + 2 bonus points for Richards and 15 more for Douglas Luiz whom I left on the bench Sad
Andersen and Johnstone as well for a combined 30 points, that's a ton of bench points to miss out on.  Lips sealed

I think Im going to regret this and tbh, I've been losing like alot in dota2 ever since this year and it makes me totally lost interest in betting it lol. For some reason I've been doing pretty okay on cs2 although I dont really watch most of the games
Congrats on your XG ticket and i'm in the same boat with my Dota bets, i've always had more losses because of the trap odds. While in CS2, I got a few nice wins, mainly from Team Spirit during their clean IEM run and betting against some of the weaker teams in the RMR tournament.

But GamerLegion's result was unexpected for me. Because they completed the Paris Major as 2nd but now they couldn't even get past RMR stage.  Sad
That's because GamerLegion had a downgrade after the major. They lost their two best players in the team, iM got picked up by Navi and their former IGL siuhy is now playing for Mouz.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of money you've ever bet in a single game? on: February 25, 2024, 01:08:31 AM
1. What is the highest amount of money you've bet on a single game in the past?
2. Did you win or lose that game?
3. Was it an amount you were actually ready to comfortably lose?
I couldn't recall the exact amount, but I know the highest amount i've risked in a single bet was around the hundreds ($200-$500) and it was for an esports match. It reached that point because my bankroll grew so much after a perfect week with only a few losses. My bet won, and it was close as the team was only slight favorites by the bookies.

It's an amount that i'm not prepared to lose, and I only pulled that risky move because it was mostly made up of my wins. There's always that confidence building up once you start winning a lot and it pushed me to place one of the biggest bets that could've made a big hole in my bankroll.

How can I choose the best betting site that provides me with a safe betting experience?
Does this site provide a high level of safety for its players?
I need help from those with experience in this field
One of the best and fastest ways to find the best casinos is through review sites, which was already suggested by a couple of posts above me.

The safety level of some of the best casinos is usually good enough and is less of an issue because they're always cautious in storing information and funds. If you still have doubts, it's better to form a backup plan, like spreading your funds through different casinos. It's a bit of a hassle at the start, as you'll have to create several accounts, but it'll pay off once you can add an extra layer to securing your gambling funds.
