441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supporting new projects can lead to a better future. on: December 01, 2018, 06:52:39 AM
this is more like a beautiful saying that only stays as that, "a saying". i bet you don't even do it yourself. everyone wants to make more profit in this market and people rarely care about a better future and a good project. not to mention that in this market a good project is extremely rare to find since even the developers care about making profit. that is why they all premine their coins or run an ICO instead.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: would u trade ur alts after getting rich off the alt coin for another alt coin on: December 01, 2018, 06:37:35 AM
isn't it what literary everyone does?!!

any trader with half a brain would do exactly that. you invest in an altcoin that is about to get pumped, then as you reach your profit targets and also speculate the pump coming to an end, cash out of that altcoin and take your money out so that you can have it ready to be invested in another one to do the same thing....
do this over and over and increase your wealth.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO is a sleeping giant or not??? on: December 01, 2018, 06:26:13 AM
coins like NEO and ETH and a lot of others are pump and dump altcoins so they do have potential of profit but i would never call them "sleeping giants' because they are too small and insignificant. besides their platforms are all broken and weakly designed which means a simple better solution will replace them in an instant if created.

so the assumption is that they can get pumped and dumped in the short term but when it comes to long term they will surely die.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should choose Stellar (XLM) for investment? on: December 01, 2018, 06:18:27 AM
i never liked Stellar, probably because of its distribution. they were giving it away but only in a centralized way while gathering people's private information! which didn't sit right with me ever. not to mention that they were rejecting a lot of people from different countries.

then i also dislike the fact that they are going the ICO rout. i hate it when coins do that. they see the ICO hype of 2017 and they want the hype for themselves to pump their own coin so they implement it on their coin which is not designed to work with smart contracts but they forcefully adapt it!
445  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find good altcoin? on: December 01, 2018, 06:03:06 AM
mining and investing, although having similarities, they are not the same thing.

to choose an altcoin for mining you need to find a coin with a low difficulty and based on your equipment. for example if it is ASIC or GPU. and also when mining you always have the option to switch for example from one shitcoin with GPU mining to another shitcoin that is getting pumped.

but when investing/trading your options are better since you can buy and sell in an instant, unlike mining you don't have to waste time and your money can be in move at all times. so trading may be a better option for many BUT only if you have the experience to do it. otherwise if you get caught up into hypes and get dumped on every time then trading is not for you.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In an altcoin project, how many coins is too much? on: December 01, 2018, 05:53:08 AM
Thanks for all replies everyone!

Me and a couple friends have been working in the creation of some sites, some aimed at online marketing (where people can get referrals for wathever program, etc), and some sites aimed at games also.  We found we have this internal token type thing in the system to get perks and what not. Then we decided, why not create a token that could be taken beyond our platforms?

Then me and my friends hit our first wall: How many coins, total supply?

Should coin amount issued be static and thats it, or should new additional coins be issued yearly? I mean, in the altcoin world it is very easy to create totally worthless s**tcoins...

you have to try and predict how much your coin is going to be used and by how many people. then try to come up with a good supply design and supply distribution plan so that you don't create inflation and at the same time you don't crash your coin's price overnight and more importantly not to turn into a scam premined coin which you control majority of the supply!
and if you are stuck then you can always use bitcoin as a reference. it has 21 million, so choose either than or a smaller number unless you think your coin is going to be used more than bitcoin!
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why HODLers now pray for banks and institutions to enter if Bitcoin... on: December 01, 2018, 05:44:31 AM
i am a "BitcoinHodler" and i am not praying for any of them to enter. in fact i have said numerous times that not only we do not need them to enter the market but also it is going to be bad if they do enter!

you are confusing newbies and their bullshit spam on forums with what bitcoin investors truly think. the thing is the newbies think they could become millionaires with bitcoin overnight. that didn't happen. so now they are begging for anything to make it happen and one of them is institutional investors.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's supposed reappearance, but why now? on: December 01, 2018, 05:33:24 AM
the most interesting thing is how Craig Scammer took advantage of it immediately and started making tweets that point to that term posted ("nour") so that he  can still push his own agenda using this newly surfaced drama Cheesy
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not worry about the future of Bitcoin! It is just beginning on: December 01, 2018, 05:24:23 AM
past week has been one of the best times in bitcoin market because we got a big discount.
but people are confusing this manipulation and the fake dump with a fake lower price with bitcoin having trouble. the fact is the market is still small and manipulated so it can be controlled by some whales that have the experience and means to do it. but they can only do it for a short time. bitcoin is still the same bitcoin with the same huge potential.
450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PRICE STABILITY on: November 30, 2018, 09:18:11 AM
at this point i don't really expect much of a stability for bitcoin price since we are in a big dip because of a big dump that has happened for no logical reason and we first need to see the price recover back up to normal levels possibly above $6k again before we can see stability.
not to mention that bitcoin is not known to be stable for long. in the past it has been stable a couple of times like during the $200 range but these cases are not common.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does this point to the possibility of ETF? on: November 30, 2018, 09:03:37 AM
With a sudden price drop of 50% in a matter of weeks it is safe to say that there is not going to be an etf anytime soon. Could of happened if there wasn't a price war with shitcoin cash

no it could not have happened even if there was no BCash war and even if price never dropped there still wouldn't have been any ETFs.
SEC is not rejecting ETF only because of price volatility. they are rejecting it because of lack of regulation and the fact that they can not control anything about bitcoin or its market. and they hate decentralization because it will remove them from the world and make SEC obsolete.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC = $1600-$2800 & ETH $30-$70 on: November 30, 2018, 08:47:53 AM
bitcoin "bottoming out" has been over for months which means the bottom has been and still is above $6K. What you see now is not bottoming out nor is it shaking weak hands. it is only for buying cheaper  coins and it can not last long. let alone go any lower.

as for ethereum its dump is justifiable because it has a lot of issues and also it is getting dumped as people pull their money from ETH to put it in bitcoin as it is currently super cheap.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are Ethereum & Omnity Buys Of The Decade? on: November 30, 2018, 08:35:07 AM
the most important question to consider is NOT about whether a price is at the bottom or not. it doesn't matter what percentage it is from the ATH. it can be 1% or it can be 99.99% of the ATH.

the important question is about whether the coin has any potential of big rises in the future or not. if you think it has then the bottom is somewhat meaningless. you just buy at a price where it looks like being the end of the drop.

in my opinion for bitcoin it has been a good opportunity to buy ever since price hit $6k and it has been considered cheap.
but for ETH i don't see that potential in the long run specially since it has unlimited supply and has a hard fork coming to kill miners. so i don't  consider any price cheap unless they actually start pumping it and i see at least a 100% pump coming which i don't think is going to happen any  time soon.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin hit the 6000 threshold before next year? on: November 30, 2018, 08:24:38 AM
what you are referring to as "difference of opinion" is mostly difference in goals not opinions. most of those who wish to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price or specifically those who have been shorting bitcoin are constantly talking about much lower prices and talk about "bottom" being lower because of their goals.

otherwise everyone already knows that it is not possible to predict that many things at this point because of the manipulation.
all we know is that it can't last that much longer before the price jumps back up.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: premine scam in MN projects on: November 30, 2018, 08:17:17 AM
i don't think anybody cares anymore! otherwise they would have never invested in ICOs! what do you think ICOs are if not premined shitcoins? someone creates a number of tokens then sells them while still keeping a large part of it.

what people want out of altcoins is only profit and if a scam coin can give it to them, then they will invest in it!
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is a golden time on: November 30, 2018, 07:52:18 AM
this is actually the worst time for cryptocurrencies in general.
for starters the market is over populated by shitcoins most of which are ICO tokens. and the manipulation has been at the highest in the past 2 years with pump and dumps.

then we have  the current dumping trend which consists of a big dump followed by a small rise recovery followed by some lack of action period and then the same thing repeats with a new big dump.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin actually died ? Yes, more than 320 times already on: November 30, 2018, 07:47:42 AM

The question now is how far will the 2018 correction go? Can it go to zero?

this is not a correction anymore. this is more of a manipulation and because of that you can not predict its bottom. but the only thing you can be sure about is that no matter how strong the whales who are manipulating the price are, they will never be able to crash the market as much as bringing it to 0.
458  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will make bitcoin price to brake its all time high on: November 30, 2018, 07:38:15 AM
bitcoin needs some time so that the manipulators can be satisfied with their accumulation as they are currently on some sort of buying frenzy to buy as much cheap bitcoin as they can without letting the price to rise up that much.
and as they finish that we enter the slow rise period where the confidence comes back to the market. and mainly people are currently waiting for the manipulation to end before they come back so they need time to jump back in again.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Laundering started with banks not bitcoins. on: November 30, 2018, 07:31:37 AM
what banks have been doing only proves their fear towards bitcoin and also proves that bitcoin has been working more than fine in the past years that it could struck such a nerve and cause a mass panic among corrupted banksters who are the main target of bitcoin.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: we are going to - NEW PUMPS. on: November 26, 2018, 08:54:31 AM
i disagree because you are generalizing it to ALL.

what we have right now is
- a little price recovery in bitcoin which brought it back up to $4k level. and that meant a recovery in altcoins that got dumped hard.
- recovery does not mean a pump is coming. a recovery is just a recovery!
- ICOs are still dead and abandoned for the most part and majority of them will continue dying until they completely disappear. investing in them is not wise.
- finally the pumps will only occur in short time and for a selected few coins at a time not all of them and you need to be aware of the process to dump fast.
