441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Top Coin values should I look at ? on: March 03, 2022, 09:05:11 AM
Zero arguments that BTC surpasses them all ( Cryptocurrencies ), if one should venture/delve into alternative coin's that'll last for the next five to six years, What are the top Coin values ? what should I look at ?

There is no surefire way to know that an altcoin will last for the next five years.
Based on my experience following ethereum whose project lasted for
more than five years, at least the project continues to develop their platform.
To analyze a project that can last more than five years, we can't use charts or other techniques
because we really depend on the fundamentals of the project.
For example, how their platforms work, how big their ecosystem is, who is behind them,
how they are consistent with their work progress in developing projects. that's what I usually use to get long term coins.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about the new alts? on: March 03, 2022, 08:25:44 AM
What coins do you think are promising? I think there will soon be a good opportunity to buy alts in the long term, so I am starting to consider options for purchases. Interested in mina, cdt and sand. What do you think of these coins? And what coins do you think are promising?

of those 3 coins, I'm just not sure about CDT.
When I went to coinmarketcap I only saw a few sentences describing CDT.
even written on coinmarketcap market data is untracked which I think this CDT coin is quite doubtful.
The community is also incomplete from the available information, only reddit and twitter,
how can we fully support CDT with little space for the community.
my advice, you should really rethink if you want to join CDT because this project looks so obscure right now.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins That Go Up When Whole Crypto Market Goes Down? on: March 03, 2022, 07:04:08 AM
Look at the biggest gainers in the last day.  Shiba tron and Baby Squid Game.

So do coins on pancakeswap just go up regardless of whether btc goes up or not?  I thought if btc drops big, literally the whole crypto market drops?  So these coins are not affected?

I believe because they are tokens with small-scale trading volume, of course they are not dependent on bitcoin.
They took full advantage of the event, then enlivened by community support where the community had bought cheaply from the start.
That event usually is, burning and listed in exchange is the most popular event that usually happens.
Such tokens are also only found on dexswap like pancakeswap, julswap etc, will not be found on CEX market like binance,
if they enter major exchanges they will immediately follow the price of btc.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new Gaming projects? on: March 02, 2022, 01:11:47 PM
hello everyone i hope you all are doing great I noticed many times the crypto project according to some events always grow like in last few days the project on metaverse is really trending everyone join these projects and everyone makes good profit just because Facebook talks about the metaverse. According to this analysis there is a project named secretworld.network on BSC a gaming project and mostly features are live and i guess due to project nature there is a chance to earn handsome profit so i a thinking to participate in their presale but i am afraid of losing money.so I need suggestions may be you guys know better than me. I also share whitepaper and website link
Website: https://secretworld.network/
Whitepaper: https://secretworld.network/whitepaper.pdf

A little analysis from me. This project has great potential.
Judging from the website that looks professional, friendly and contains complete information, it also has big media partners.
The community is also quite large, judging from my basic analysis, this project already has investment-worthy qualities.
I'm not a financial advisor, but I see this project worth investing in.
However, I'm a little confused on the website, it doesn't look like there is a button or page to buy like a public sale,
there is only a feature for staking. Perhaps the initial distribution was quite unique with the staking feature.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: smal USDT balances ?? what to do ?? on: March 02, 2022, 11:57:20 AM
i started accepting crypto payments for my online business, a client paid me 110 USDT, i was unable to convert to BTC sadly using my wallet, and sendindg to kraken will take like 20$ fees (maybe more), what on earth am i supposed to do with those USDT to convert to fiat (as am paying my bills) without losing much of its value ?!?...

thanks,

Once that USDT is in your personal wallet it looks like sending to any exchange will be high on gas.
I use this method although it is less effective but at least slightly reduces the high gas.
send to an exchange when transactions are low will usually get low gas on every shipment,
although there are no exact hours for that but I'm sure it will.
in my country usually when the morning is the right time because there people are getting tired and turn off their pc.
to ensure the price of gas every time you can use https://www.ethgasstation.info/

my advice, you should avoid transactions with the ethereum network for now because gas costs are always unstable. Currently recommended is the BNB network (bep20) or the tron network (if in usdt). $20 for a transaction is too big for a business just starting out. I only suggest switching networks between bep20 or tron at least it will get cheaper gas.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's meta here and there on: March 02, 2022, 09:13:56 AM
To all newcomers on here pls be careful with projects that start with the name "META" because they are mostly scam projects, since metaverse have become another hot cake in crypto world today this scammers are fully ready to use this on the unknowns, open your eye and do good research before taking that risk... Meta this and mate that are the most dangerous projects today, stay safe.

Whatever the current trend, it will always be duplicated by scammers.
They even have their own metaverse made like it's the best metaverse.
even anything that starts with the word "meta" is likely to be deceiving us.
I think if you want to invest in a real metaverse project we can go to some of the bigger projects that have their metaverse set up.
They haven't launched yet but when it does launch it will explode, the coins setting up the current metaverse: $AXS, $MANA, $SAND.
My advice is, if you do get into the metaverse project at least you can invest heavily in one of the coins I mentioned.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine now adds Polkadot address for donations on: March 02, 2022, 07:32:49 AM
Source: https://cryptobriefing.com/ukraine-asks-for-polkadot-donations-hints-airdrop/

Aside from just BTC, ETH and USDT20, now they’re accepting DOT donations and hopefully other coins and tokens (e.g., BNB, MATIC, AVAX, etc.).

I think this is because of Gavin Wood’s post here: https://cryptoslate.com/polkadots-gavin-wood-to-donate-5m-to-ukraine-if-they-post-a-dot-address/

In my opinion, it’s better to have multiple options in case others feel that BTC, ETH and USDT20 are expensive in transaction/gas fees for donations.

I don’t know who is gonna be next? Polygon? BNB? TRX? Hmmm……

i think the most reasonable is trx if gas cost is very high for ethereum.
But I'm more interested in hearing if the donation is not for the country but for Ukrainian citizens who really
need help with any donations of money or food which are now cryptocurrencies.
FTX exchange will prepare an airdrop for Ukrainian citizens for those who register on their platform.
those who have FTX accounts with Ukrainian citizens will get $25 in each of their accounts as humanitarian aid from FTX.
News source.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your opinion ? on: February 27, 2022, 02:06:13 PM
The price doesn't seem too far off, but one can't just guess. we have to use technicals to see if we can enter or cut losses $LINK we can see from the technical side.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way things are going with new crypto is worrisome on: February 27, 2022, 11:32:17 AM
I feel what you feel. In my environment they don't even have a background in cryptocurrencies, but have names like artists who create their tokens and sell them to the public. I think it's very sad, because ordinary people who buy are their targets.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good metaverse tokens. on: February 27, 2022, 10:07:33 AM
This old $sand that really looks good to be a metaverse, of the many metaverse projects I see the potential of the sandbox more. The sandbox is a project that prepares a large metaverse, I believe one in the future that will be successful in building a metaverse is the sandbox.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: February 27, 2022, 09:15:34 AM
There are many that have the potential to be like ethereum and even become a rival to ethereum itself. the popular ones are BNB and SOL. these two coins compete with each other to be the best chain network to beat ethereum, I believe they can beat ethereum's position in the future.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this for real? on: February 26, 2022, 03:02:03 PM
PoW has become a hallmark of bitcoin, there are regulations regarding the prohibition of PoW mining, perhaps because of the waste of energy, it can shut down bitcoin mining companies in some areas, but bitcoin will continue to be mined until the supply runs out with PoW so far there is no news if bitcoin will change its mining method.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancakeswap? on: February 26, 2022, 11:58:23 AM
Pancakeswap is a dex swap no account required to trade there, buying meme coins does require swap and costs eth or bnb. However, it's very easy, you don't need to register, you only need a connection from pancakeswap to your wallet, such as metamask.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Altcoin experience and Lessons on: February 26, 2022, 10:47:46 AM
vmy experience recently, news is not the main thing in determining the direction of bitcoin, maybe it has an impact a week or a month later or before the incident. short term it would be better to use charts and indicators. this was proven when bitcoin went down with the news of the war in Russia, and in just a day bitcoin recovered 10%.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Metaverse on: February 26, 2022, 09:26:54 AM
I'm sure the metaverse concept is not just hype, but a serious project. Unfortunately, the metaverse project requires major preparation prior to launch and no major metaverse has been launched to date.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Come to Crypto What they should do first? on: February 24, 2022, 01:46:03 PM
Explain the beginning of bitcoin first, blockchain, then the basis of cryptocurrency, the most important thing is the basis before entering to make a profit here, if he knows basically he can choose where he goes to get a profit, because here there are many ways to make a profit.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest best 5 exchanges that you experienced on: February 24, 2022, 11:04:09 AM
Binance,Gate,Pancakeswap, tokocrypto, indodax, ftx. But my favorite is still binance, because this exchange has complete facilities, a large community, and high security. In addition, many are being held by Binance from time to time. Moreover, binance is considered the no.1 international standard exchange.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was tempted to sell off altcoin on: February 24, 2022, 10:07:27 AM
The war between Russia and Ukraine triggered a worldwide economic downturn, stocks and cryptocurrencies plummeted. When the war started, bitcoin immediately fell 10% it had an impact on other altcoins, even my assets returned minus 20%. I'm sure to keep it on USDT because the war will continue to heat up.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope paper wallet gets a rebirth on: February 24, 2022, 09:28:34 AM
I think people prefer a simple wallet, even though they know it's dangerous but try to keep access very secure. Apart from that, hardware wallets sell well and guarantee security like trezor, but we are missing out on paper wallets.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About USDT on: February 23, 2022, 02:47:03 PM
USDT has been out for longer than DAI, maybe DAI is the concept of upgrading from stable coins, but the problem is that at that time the DAI concept was less attractive, because as we know cryptocurrency where everything is decentralized, just stable coins will of course be an important part that will not irreplaceable. Also the name "USDT" is easier to use as it approximates fiat whereas DAI is less significant to fiat.
