Woah... the price is plummeting. We just hit a 4-months low

Yeah, I've been keeping a close watch on the trade activity and orders on Cryptsy and this price drop is completely artificial.  Look at this for example,

Someone has effectively locked the price between 1353 and 1351.  Depending on which order this guy cancels, the price will drop more, or go higher.
It's a tactic used to steal your coins before a major rise in volume and price.

This game has been going on exactly as described for the past few days, just at different price points.  Anyone who's selling to get out of Zetacoin is falling right into the trap.

Price doesn't concern me so much.  This is a currency that has value.  It has a little more buying power than a Colombian Peso for example:

10.8.2014 20:11:38   HTTP filter   archive   http://forum.legendarycoin.com   HTML/ScrInject.B.Gen virus   connection terminated - quarantined

This is what I get from my ESET if I try to access LGD's forum. Someone should take care of that.

Yeah, looks like they got the forum hosted on a cpanel server.  That cpanel stuff is so insecure (worse than Windows at times), you shouldn't really be using that for this kind of thing.

wow, what happened? why the pump?

It's an effective way to increase your holdings.  They key is knowing when to get in and get out without greed impairing your judgment.  Sadly there will be losers, you can't have winners without losers.

For those that bought in high, don't feel so bad.  BitcoinDark is a good long term investment.

didnt loose anything on this.. but still .. FU pumpers. without greed huh?.. thats why you/they're pumping and screwing loads of others right?

KMA!!!

Hmm, you seem to think I had something to do with this?
I was pointing out that you could take advantage of these waves to increase your BTCD holdings.

Wow the price has proper shot up  Smiley One very sick coin  Smiley

BitcoinDark is still unknown to most of the masses.   I can only begin to imagine what will happen once that changes.

I wish that zetacoin was fresh again and we didn't just mine 1 at a time. I miss those days Sad

I have a Zetacoin MultiPool under development, soon you will be able to mine at any of my pools and get paid in ZET.
No ETA. I've said too much already  Grin
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN ~BINARY~(BIC) Scrypt | 15 sec coin | 84 Million coins | Binarycoin on: July 27, 2014, 03:58:46 PM
I think instead of a relaunch we need to create demand for the coin.  Create services and stores to spend Binarycoins.  Otherwise the coin's value will not rise at all.

I will admit I am a bag holder of this coin.  However I am also willing to pay someone in BIC (60 BIC /hr.) to help me create these services (programming).  I can only do so much on my own.

What's the deal with binary? Is it still traded?

It's traded here

exchange?

It's listed on comkort.com
On an entirely different note, are there plans to update the client?  I'm having trouble with it constantly crashing.

454  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 22, 2014, 05:14:03 PM
My 2 S3's arrived this morning.  They are now up and running at a steady 458 GH/s.  Interestingly they use about 30 watts less power than the S1's.

458 GH/s what frequency and how many Watts each S3?

218.75
I've got both S3 on the one UPS that shows 738 watts, so I figure about 369 watts for each.  Both have the same type of PSU too.

Some idiot was abusing it.

Someone was real smart and has been solo mining this for the last few days my pool.  He's earned nearly 6000 XGR.
He's going to be real happy once this thing starts getting big.
