441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: February 25, 2020, 02:27:10 PM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?

I never tried trading at work or while working, I just think I needed more focus while I am trading and definitely the workplace is not the perfect place for me.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Doing This? on: September 28, 2019, 06:18:16 AM
I would share my private things like private key to my parents. Eventhough they didn't know how to use it and how it works. I'm sure they will find a way to use it. So no matter what will happen to me. My family will benefit from my cryptocurrency asset.
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 15, 2018, 06:19:44 AM
To me the answer is No. Money alone doesn't make an individual rich. A lot of people go to work everyday, working for money and making more money, but fail to become richer. Ironically, many only grow deeper in debt.we have all heard stories of lottery winners who are instantly poor again. Also there are cases of real estate going into foreclosure instead of making homeowners richer. We all know of persons who have lost money investing in the stock market. Maybe you are one of those individuals who have lost money investing on cryptocurrency,Bitcoin to be precise. Even investing in gold(real money) can cost the investor money

For all intents and purposes, it is not business, estates, stocks, bitcoin (crypto currency) or money that makes a person rich. It is information, wisdom, knowledge that makes one wealthy.

Although it is essential for a rich people to be called rich to have a lot of money , but the question even if you won lottery ticket , how could you manage your money? How could you stay rich ?, people with money but does not have a knowldge about handling money is money soon gone, for you to be rich you need to have a knowldge about how would you handle your money even if it is small or not.
445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: July 15, 2018, 05:40:12 AM
Bitcoin is just about 10 years old and I dont think that is enough to reach it's goal. We actually dont really know what is the real goal of bitcoin but it probably is to change the world of paper money and fight against criminality and illegal activities.
(we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022)
We dont know what the price is going to be even tomorrow what about 2022. Until then bitcoin could even disappear from the market even though it seems impossible for everyone,it is possible. Bitcoin also has a price goal, set by the people and I think that is about 1.000.000$. It doesn't have to reach this price before a certain time, the goal is to reach it someday.

Bitcoin does not have a constant goal if that is what you're looking for because as a virtual currency investment , this type of investment aims to go higher and higher until it reaches it's market cap , so bitcoin's goal it to have a higher value always to satisfy it's investor.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My small advice about crypto market on: July 13, 2018, 05:15:36 AM
Many people are still hesitant between trade and hold. In my opinion, Investment is different from speculation is that you spend time and knowledge for it. When you trust and understand, you will not be afraid of the volatility of the market. It's an investor or a HOLDER. It's very good, but I think you get to know the market, trade, the cycle of market so you can be an investor, a smart holder.
"Don’t be a blind bull. ALL markets are cyclical. Don’t be afraid of pullbacks or market crashes – that’s where you can make the most money"

I do not advice to hold your token for a long time or to trade it daily. As an investor before putting your money into an investment you should have a goal in your investment, such as how long will you keep it and what is your target price , these things can make you a wise investor , you should also do a research weather  this coin will go up or it will continue to drag down .
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Bitcoins is the safest system on: July 13, 2018, 04:47:37 AM
Hey everyone I have heard newbies and other people asking about how safe is the Bitcoins and it's transactions well I think it will be beneficial to have a little discussion on this .

First of all if you own a bank account in a good bank then you should know that its very hard to hack one's bank account, it's almost impossible unless done due to personal flaws, like sharing your key or bank account details or something , you know the system behind Bitcoins and the system behind banking system is same .
Something by the name of cryptography whose Advance form is block chain . It's a complex code involving complex mathematics and the transactions are only completed through very complex and complicated steps impossible to penetrate.
For Bitcoins the same thing operates but with no intervening part or whatsoever , it's p2p direct transactions and this is even more secure and private.

The reason why you hear news like :- someone got their Bitcoins stolen or something is because they have personal flaws , they shared the private keys or the password with someone else..or they used a bad wallet.

It's on you how safe you make it .
I do not think bitcoin is the safest system, you might say it is the safest system because you have or you control all your asset all by yourself but what do you think will happen if you die? , that is the problem of bitcoin they do not have beneficiary ,your investment will all go to waste
448  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: June 30, 2018, 03:21:09 PM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley

The main reason is a lot of people are selling their bitcoin , regardless of the main reason of investor why they pulling out their investment , still they are selling their coin, as we all know the demand and supply plays crucial role here in bitcoin , bitcoin is a form of high risk investment , so if an investor sells or pull out it's investment , it will affect the price of a bitcoin , but if you are an investor now , you don't need to be afraid because I am sure bitcoin will rise up .
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: June 30, 2018, 02:49:10 PM
I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!

A lot of people are misled into , bitcoin is a scam , just because they hear a news that is bitcoin related and uses bitcoin as a medium of a scam does not necessarily mean that bitcoin is a scam . let us change it in other way , if a scammer uses money as a medium of scam , would you consider money as a scam? no of course, money will never be a scam , just like bitcoin , social medias and news just manipulates their content to make bitcoin bad.Bitcoin is a form of high risk investment , so before diving in , just do a research first.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin difficult to understand? on: June 28, 2018, 03:36:14 PM
If you look at it as Currency, it is difficult for an average person to understand it because it is different.
Bitcoin, being a different kind of a digital currency, it breaks down conventional thinking in many aspects. No central regulatory body. The concept of mining. The open-ledger (blockchain), the way miners are rewarded, how transporting value is determined by its packet size and not value, the hash rate, the concept of limited supply. The 100 Million pennies in a Bitcoin, etc.
Its difficult enough for people in the money space to thoroughly understand Bitcoin (we all say we understand it, but do we really?).
For a common person, its an overkill. Its like trying to explain the concept of TCP/IP, Networking, Routing, the Internet for someone who wants to use email.  Overkill.

Actually bitcoin or any other kind of virtual currency is not really hard to understand , why? because they are all based on the volume of investor and their supply. If you understand the system between demand and supply you will know what bitcoin is . Most of the time the main concern in bitcoin or in any other virtual currency is their value , so if you are referring why bitcoin's value changes over time it is because of the demand and supply , the more demand , the higher the price is. it is just plain and simple.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 23, 2018, 03:40:14 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

You cannot compare bitcoin on banking in terms of risk, why? bitcoin is far more riskier than bank , where in fact  bank is the safest place for money . The rule in investment is the higher the risk, the higher the return , so the reason why bank has the lowest interest rate , out of all investment is because it is also the least risky of all types of investment , while bitcoin might fluctuates in no time but it can generate a high profit because of the risk that it has. So bitcoin is riskier than bank .
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future development of coins - QUESTION on: February 09, 2018, 09:57:37 AM
Why is there a need for forks, and why are there pre mined coins? Ia it because they are the one who developed those? It would seem that pre mined coins can be liken to shares not available to the public. Can someone please enlighten me further on this?
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange KuCoin and KuCoin shares on: February 09, 2018, 09:54:01 AM
I really like kucoins interface. It is easy to use and it is not eye soring even if you use it for longer than normal. Also, they are the go to exchange of some of the hottest icos, making kucpin really attractive for us users and investors.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cause of Altcoin Drops? on: February 08, 2018, 06:36:52 PM
There are a lot of reasons for this drop. One is that the market is undergoing its normal cycle and is just doing a normal correction, another is that it ia removing weak hands since crypto is not for the faint of heart. In addition, regulation is trying to catch up and is having a hard time since crypto is fast evolving that is why they are being aggressive and applying hard brakes for us to atleast slow down and let them catch up. Also, there are also the old people who are scared of what they dont know, and is afraid of changing the status quo wherein they can say who can make it or not.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: February 08, 2018, 06:29:55 PM
It depends on what jurisdiction you are in aince different laws apply to different jurisdictions. I think in most countries, bitcoin is legal since there are no laws banning bitcoin since it is relatively new for them. Those countries who banned bitcoins also have no existing laws, but their structure permits them to preventively disallow something to prevent a certain event from happening like a market crash. Also, its legality is still in grey area since most jurisdictions are still trying to figure this all out.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2018, 06:25:20 PM
We have to remember that media outlets earn money through advertising. This does not only mean positive ones like buy me, i am a good product. Sometimes there are negative publicities as well, like that product sucks big time and my product does wonderful things for you. Hearing bad news about crypto may probably mean that someone is paying them to produce that news which contains fud.

Total scam. Hindi mo masasabing networking ito dahil in the first place wala silang product all you have to do is to invite like a pyramiding scheme. It is a ponzi scheme dahil nga kelangan mo lang manloko ng iba para kumita ka.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin out of circulation on: October 02, 2017, 09:24:04 PM
If some people has lots of bitcoin in their offline wallets and they die or lose memory.

Then those coins will be out of circulation right? Or is there any way to recover them?

The less the supply of a coin the higher the price of it. We all know the supply and demand system and I think it is more good if we see a limited total supply of bitcoin as the demand will go higher than the expected. although those lost coin is such a big regret for the owner.
459  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 02, 2017, 08:59:56 PM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.

You can actually study some tools on trading that measures its ema and stoch rsi. It can give you some ideas if it was over sold or over bought plus you can also see the walls, resistance and the support of not only bitcoin but also other coins and stocks.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: October 02, 2017, 08:50:42 PM
Bitcoin growth again, for two days it's turn back his position 3960$ and continue to grow!
Should I go to bank and buy bitcoins?

You can always buy and hold for any position if you are a long holder of bitcoin. Bitcoin's trend is so bullish and we all know that the fundamentals behind it was amazing and a lot of people are supporting it even some big countries are trying to release their FUDS.
