441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 04, 2019, 01:18:42 AM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?
I dont have any sources aside from that but I have a small firm which I am making a design like floor plan and 3D modelling of it, I will start accepting altcoins this month or next month, I will crowdsourcing first if what coins does my clients have, but since ETH and XRP are my coins now aside from BTC I will only acceps btc, eth and xrp for now.
442  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Doers it matter what country you are in for wallet? on: December 03, 2019, 08:42:32 PM
Please forgive me if its a stupid question, I have been away from Crypto for a few years, I live In Canada and I have  not been active and now am getting back to crypto, I use to use Blockchain.com wallet , is that wallet still good? and Does it matter which country I am in for wallet.  I registered with coinsquare  as a platform to buy bitcoins, but I heard  that it can take up to 4 days to  move BTC from there after purchase, is that true, I remember on localbitcoins it used to be much quicker but the price was higher obviously, so is coinsquare the best way to buy bitcoins for Canadians.  what wallet would you recommend for mobile.

Thank you.
I recommend you to use hardware wallet named electrum, it is safe and it is a hardware wallet used by everyone. I prefer using hardware wallet, and it is available in the web just type electrum it does not matter where country are you in ,or you have other choices like use nano ledger or trezor it is highy recommended too. You may use exchange wallet too but be sure to put 2FA on it.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The only one way to always get your tokens after bounty ends on: December 03, 2019, 01:39:45 PM
Trusted and well-known bounty managers here in the forum is most likely use an escrow or other means to verify the payment for management and bounty hunters whenever they manage a new campaign although, most of the time those campaign that have escrow offer low rewards while some that don't have escrow offer great rewards and this is the risk for bounty hunters that they take.
Yes especially if the bounty campaign rewards their participants by paying bitcoin, an escrow is highly needed and recommended to use. There are a lot of bounties that are not going to pay their people, we as a bounty hunter needed to research first the campaigns that we are joining so that we would be never regret that we have waste our time on them. We should be selective in all means. Also join only to those trusted managers like in us Hhampuz, as well as yahoo, dark star and so many more. They are well known in terms of bitcoin sig camp.
444  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk forum payment issue and many more on: December 03, 2019, 12:30:53 PM
i thought im the only one who experienced this  . i also signed thier before but i notice that my payments are not increasing and infact i think ive been only posting on the paid areas and my posts were also not trashy enough compare to others that post thier ( not be harshed here ) but im only saying the truth   . i stop posting .  better if you could also stop posting there op if you think your only wasting your time because your only goal for posting is to get paid  .
Wait for further announcement, recently I have been browsing to their telegram account, and many people like you OP feels the same way. Still yobit dont have any answer to every question that has been given by the bounty hunter as well. Yesterday , their website is currently down too. I think there was a problem in both website and the campaign as well.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading chat on: December 03, 2019, 10:33:31 AM
Chatbox in the exchanges are often sharing ideas, there is yobit and hitbtc where traders can chat. Its not however going to end well when someone is always there to post something different like fud and shilling will interrupt you. Information in Telegram channels came from them, unless you trust them so much you can follow the signals.
Yes I have seen a chatbox in yobit as well, in there you may able to see many traders talking about the coins that they are hodling and some of them will convince you to buy yours too, you may see some trade tips over there but there are some FUD too, better to learn to read charts  candlestick and read news in twitter , it will help you more rather than joining chats.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: December 02, 2019, 10:25:34 PM
Most of the investor are here for money, not to enjoy the advancement in technology. They want to make money with the help of crypto currencies that have proven to be useful in this case. Becoming a millionaire by doing nothing other than holding a coin for one or two years is like a dream coming true. It is good for you that you discovered market earlier than many other people. Bitcoin has laid the foundation, after all.
Many people knows cryptocurrency for having a good value and make them believe that it will easily bring them money, but the thing is it will not. A lot of wrong perception are being made. It can only made them emotionally when they face the losing of their funds due to market changes of they did not get their target. I am here in crypto for me to learn to trade using altcoins, I believe that crypto will be more good for long term investment soon rather than stock market.
447  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Sell good for BTC when price is unknown yet on: December 02, 2019, 04:38:21 PM
I've been contacted by someone in another country (B) who wants a product from the country where I live (A). He would pay me in BTC to buy the product and ship it to him.

I want to make an estimation of the price of the product + price of shipping, add a deposit %, and divide by an estimation of Bitcoin price in A's currency, to know how much Bitcoin he should send to an escrow at first. Then I'd buy the product, ship it, and I'd take Bitcoin's price at the time of both events, to know how much it really costed. Then the escrow could send me the real price in BTC, and the difference back to the buyer in country B.

But the buyer insists there is no need for a deposit, that using an escrow is enough. The problem is I don't know the exact price of the shipping until I'm at the post office with the product already purchased ready to be sent, and we don't know what the price of Bitcoin in A's currency will be at the time of purchase. There could be a day or two between the time he sends Bitcoin to the escrow, and the time the product is bought.

If you are used to do this, what's the usual, safe way?
I think , try to find a local courier, get there table or list of rates whether it is in just a plastic bag or in a box , it depends also in the amount of weight of the product, also it is more expensive since the origin and the recipient is in not the same country, add a little more amount to your calculation because the bitcoin market is not stable, and you may also calculate first USD and convert it in btc. Escrow is good but give him a reference rate also so that he would not be worried.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy 1 bitcoin on: December 02, 2019, 02:09:52 PM
Investing using your fiat money a total of 1 bitcoin is really huge money. Investing in it will not guarantee you a 100% profit cause this kind of market can take a fall also sometimes a massive downfall. Please don't put all your assets in an exchange, you don't know what may happen like security breach and data compromising... So just keep it instead on a wallet where you have full control of your private keys.
Yes, for you to be sure OP , turn on your 2FA settings and make an alphanumeric password so it will be diffucult for the hackers to know it, also do not put all your money in one exchange. And if you like, invest your money im different assets like eth, xrp, bnb and so on. We dont know the trend of bitcoin now if it will be continues to go down or it will be go uptrend no one knows but take the risk.
449  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: December 02, 2019, 02:35:14 AM
Right now both Yobit and Cryptotalk are down I only see a cloudflare I just login to my computer, and I don't know how long is this going, I hope it's just a maintainance,  it seems there is an overload of their server, I hope it's not a ddos attack and they will be back the soonest possible time.

Yes, I also cannot access 2 hours ago to the Yobit panel. I hope this maintenance will not be too long and I also hope that there are no new rules in this cryptotalk signature campaign.
Let's wait for the updates and statements.

No problems here accessing, logging in and browsing either yobit and cryptotalk sites right now.
Ive tried logging yesterday since Ive been into this campaign before and still have some funds in my account in yobit, the website takes so long to load, ive checked it regularly for me to confirm if it has already been fixed. Now, it is okay now and website loading is not so long like yesterday but my maintaning balance is currently cant be sent to btc wallet , I will wait for an update for this one, yobit exchange is good by the way I am not worried.
450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2019, 04:28:00 PM
Well, when you decide to hold long-term, it seems impossible that you only make a portfolio with one type of crypto, because after all having a more diverse portfolio will be much better still with a note just to hold popular coins. You realize that altcoins are slowly getting better and when altcoins are getting better then of course all the crypto will have good potential in the future, so there is no harm in holding altcoins and bitcoin together.
If you have a tight budget then go to altcoins , your 1btc can make a different assets to be made. You may buy a lot of ETH, thousande of XRP and many more, it is good for you to have a different investment, and if you want you may also do day trading in bitcoin Im sure you will get a profit by day trading. But it is all up to your budget and goal as well.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: November 30, 2019, 11:35:49 PM
Basically, you can simply store a huge amount of BTC in hardware wallet like ledger because it will be much secured that hackers could not easily get access on your wallet to steal all of your funds. Unlike using online wallets it is not that really secured because no system is safe for hackers when your wallet can be access through online.
Hardware wallet works because it is too hard to hack , but also you need to activate and install anti malware to your PC so that it wi block all those malicious content to control which software you installed in your device. You may try to save some of it in web too, I think it is good if atleast 20% or 30%  of it is save in an exchange I think use that btc wallet in an exchange to save your money use 2FA and make your password an alphanumeric one.
452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dump - The Worst Thing on: November 30, 2019, 02:50:49 PM
We cannot make a short conclusion on this matter, if you only conclude a decline yesterday then it will indeed make a bad view for this market and it will not benefit you if you just panic. This market will still grow, the rise and fall of prices is just a normal cycle, so we don't need to panic about the dumping that you are worried about and not profitable for you. If you are good at using every moment that happens at least now you can benefit from yesterday's events.
We need noy to conclude everything now, it is 5% higher this week, as what we can see in the weekly chart of bitcoin , it is going up now . It only remind us that bitcoin is still unstable now and a lot of uncertainty will gonna happen. We should know that dump of coins is normal, it all haplens in different coins , halving is coming so we do expect that this could affect the bitcoin price. I believe that when 2020 comes, I expect that more pump will happen
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2019, 01:30:36 PM
70% BTC and 30% alts that's my best guess. My favourite alts which i'm not giving away anytime soon: XLM, XRP, NEO, NWC
This is what I am doing right now too, most of my money are invested in bitcoin, because even you do not do anything with bitcoin, still it will have a profit on it, even though you did not do anything but just holding it for long term investment. But holding it for so long is risky too. And maybe like you 30% will be allocated to my altcoin. It is really good to have an investment in both of it, because when bitcoin pumps , altcoins pumps as well specially those top coins.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: November 30, 2019, 10:27:20 AM
Fraudulent projects in crypto very much undermine the reputation of the industry. That is why the governments of a number of countries are so negative about cryptocurrencies. It's an unregulated industry and many scammers take advantage of it.
Even with a small amount of news triggers us all, bad news affects the market and its consumers as well. We cannot stop scammers not to scam other people so that we can protect the crypto world. Many people are starting to lose their interest in crypto due to what happen last year , but we are still hoping that by next 2020 it could not be happen again and more and more IEO will be a real one. But there will be a thing that can help us lessen the scam project to be advertise it is by not joining them and doing some research about everything.
455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: November 29, 2019, 11:37:28 PM
It looks like its not about luck, its about patience and you have to educate yourself in reading charts and graphs. You cant rely only on volume. RSi will tell you if the coin is overbought or oversold, expect changes if either of that reaches its limit. Learn to use Bollinger Bands, it will help you decide if the trend will continue. And patience, learn to have a lot of patience, if price drops and its not what you expect, just hold and dont panic.
I am not an expert trader but, you cannot rely on volume only, I think there are some pictures in the internet that shows different pattern, by just observing the candlestick, and I think it is the best and easiest way for like us that is still learning in this market. Also, do not put all your asset in just one order, I mean you need to split it in a little higher than the last bid and little lower than the last bid, it is the easiest way that Im doing sometimes, I advice that you need a lot of patience in order for you to learn, one step at a time, read and watch trading tips online.
456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: November 29, 2019, 04:08:39 PM
Guys, I still still get training in trading and, thanks to the small starting capital, I begin to trade independently on the stock exchange.  It is very difficult for me and I still can’t comprehend all the basics of trading.  Can someone answer me, is there a difference in the results when the trader works on a personal computer or smartphone?  Where is better?

Hi there! I just want to reply to your question and I think it is still related to the topic , I think there is no differences between them, as long as the website you are using and working is the same in your mobile and laptop, the only difference between them is the comfortability and what is more convinient to use.  There is no difference in result.

Of course you need to find money in the real world. You should take a break from trading and understand what you really want. Time tells us the right paths in life. If you want to return to trading, this will be a new experience.
Yes you may try to work in real world too, for you to breathe some air some new environment that can help your mind focus more on your trades after rest.

458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 28, 2019, 02:37:26 PM
I think you already know the answer but let me complete with this, try demo account to test your strategy on real market. Most people will focus on " bitcoin " not with trading, meaning they only see the product not how the market works. Try it to know the field, need time but someday you'll know trading is not easy.
I agree with this, people always look to the profit that they are getting, not to those learnings that they could get in trading. There are so many ways to learn, there are some videos in youtube that can help you to understand what bitcoin is and how to earn bitcoins, there are also books that you might want to read, also I have seen some short term classes that teaches how to trade bitcoin from scratch to mastery level, but the thing is you will learn more of it when you start to trade, when you experienced everything , whether you lose some money and gain some money it all brings experience to everyone.
459  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1 Billion Dollar’s Worth of Cryptocurrency Stolen in 2018 on: November 27, 2019, 06:54:34 PM
And to make things worst in the market, another South Korean Exchanges has been reported to be hacked, this time it's Upbit:

Quote
In its statement, the exchange emphasized that it deemed the 342,000 ETH transaction to be the only irregular transaction on the ledger, alluding to a number of other large-scale transfers that it said were related to the exchange moving assets between hot and cold storage wallets.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/signs-point-to-inside-job-in-upbit-crypto-exchange-hack-says-commentator

I really don't know what to say, $50 Million worth of money has been stolen again and I'm sure lots of negative news will come out again to undermine crypto specially from it's detractors.
Oh too bad, a lot of bad news will come up few hours from now , it will really affects bitcoin price and surely many people will have a doubt in cryptocurrency. But the thing is, security in every exchange must be updated regularly, I know their part but, they need to invest more in security because when like this happen? They will lose many amount of money, and investors as well.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 27, 2019, 11:45:44 AM
i have a lot of altcoins and i am hoping for the best. Most of these altcoins are currently worthless so selling it now is as easy as giving it away for free, which i intend not to. am going to hodl as long as it takes because i truly believe in what new projects have to offer and how we can make it from altcoins and even though btc dominance is crazy right now, there are many people who make it with altcoins compared to making it with btc
We should take risk in everything, because not all of the coins that we have are getting to be pump sooner as they have been listed. We cannot say that , if you have that coin we could conclude that they will be a high possibility that it will be succesful. Like "oh man, I have this coins, I have a positive perspective , this coin will go to the moon" we should learn to take risk and accept the fact that not all good token are good and will be succesful. Selling your altcoins will be good or be bad, there is still a probability that it would be pump sooner but not now.
