Instead of panic selling, I bought some bitcoin instead. Not too much as I don't have a lot of spare money for investing, but I figure this is a fire sale. Bitcoin's probably going to get back above $10k fairly soon. Got any predictions about that, OP?

My next prediction...WE ARE GOING LOWER!!!! My guess...we hit 6.8K in the next few weeks...lets say by October 20th
A small group of people are predicting bitcoin prices to move back to 10K but majority of the users are anticipating a big dump. I read that if this dump continues, we can hit even 5.8K which will really be not good for crypto currencies. If you ask my personal point of view, bitcoin moves mostly unexpectedly and therefore i see bitcoin back to 10K and liquidating the shorters. |

This is one crypto that's im surprised that hasn't really taken off. It's very well none, dunno why the price hasn't reflected it.
Well dogecoin is a great and fun meme coin with a great community behind it. However its goal was never to "moon" or whatever, rather to act as a gate to joins and everyday people for crypro. People buying or using doge don't expect to get rich or don't mind spending it (instead of holding) so I guess that's why it never took off. I agree with you. DOGE will never take off because so much DOGE is created and it has no applicability in this market Never said anything about appoicability. In regards to it, Doge is one of the most successful coins! It's used for all kinds of transactions, funds transfers etc. It's just that the price will (most probably) never moon! But most places accept it so it does a great job as a means of exchange I do not consider Dogecoin, a successful coin by any means. Yes, it is one of the oldest coins when he only had bitcoin, litecoin , dogecoins and few others. The price of dogecoin is so less because of its huge volume. But one thing which i like about Doge coin is its speedy transaction and very low tx fee. |

The chances are pretty low as most of the exchanges already have listed ADA. So if anybody would desperately wanna have to buy ADA they would have already bought it from other exchanges. The listing of ADA on binance 'might' help to increase the price for a short term but it won't make a significant difference in it's price.
ADA is a well established coin and it is already listed in major exchanges. It will not make as much difference as compare to a coin which is a new one and a major listing would pump. This cannot happen with CARDANO and therefore it will not leave a big impact in its price or volume. |

Cardano has a very strong team and their roadmap is perspective, but as every investment you should be ready for risk. But they still need more time for rise up. So you can invest and be ready to wait.
I agree. Cardano is a really good and promising coin. And in the future the price of this coin will only grow. I have heard that ADA main net will be ready by this year and it will really be a big milestone for this Coin. Although this coin is sleeping for now, but i am sure, in the near future it will really rise to moon. |

Most of the members predicted Ethereum has the potential after bitcoin to grow. In what basis I not yet seen in any replied post. It will be very helpful for the new members like us to understand very well before taking any conclusion about the potential of growing next to bitcoin.
Ethereum was the second best coin in terms of price and volume before the forked coins like BCH jumped in. As of now BCH is valued at 0.13 BTC and has become the 2nd coin after bitcoin. I do not know if BCH can survive its position for how much long ? or any other fork coin will come up but the fact is that Ethereum has been there for many years and is reliable. Both NEO and ADA are worth investing. NEO is much better coin than ADA because it has its own platform where you can build coin on its own chain, just like Ethereum. Technically speaking NEO platform is far better than Ethereum. So i will go for Neo instead of ADA. |

Instead of going only after abbreviations, try to find the name behind each coin. Bitcoin cash is the real currency which BCH represents while there is confusion for BCC as BCC is also another crypto currency that is Bitconnect. Names might differ in different exchanges so better look for the descriptive name first. |

The diff will rise as you mine, if you are hitting the blocks and you need to grab a new coin. Also, there may be miners on other sites or pools and you are just not having any luck. It takes some information scanning and some time, but that is the best way to pick an individual coin.

Find a good site that you can control the listing and then have it listed by algo and there you go. Picking the same info from an exchange is ok too, because at least there you know that the coin is listed and traded somewhere. |

If this is a rate that is given from a site or other source like that, bear in mind that there are different setups and that may not be what you will get ever, no matter what from that system, although you can expect close as long as the specs are near the same.

Recently there are many managers, publishers are abandoning decentralize development cryptocurrency. presently, the growth of centralize crypto like Ripple platform. Does bitcoin actually lose the battle with ripple? What do you think?
Who said Decentralize currency is losing value ? Compare the prices dip of bitcoin and ripple and you will find Ripple has lost more than 90% of its value as compare to bitcoins. Also Ripple is not even close to bitcoins and you can see the high difference of both in terms of price and marketcap.  |

Normally token are referred to the Etherium smart contracts and Coins are basically the currency like bitcoins, litecoins. You can say if it runs on block chain type platform, it is refereed as a coin which on etherum platform it is referred as a token. Most people used these terms inter-changeably without worrying about the definition difference of both of them

Its increasing due to his demand. People are getting panic from bitcoin's transaction fee and to get rid from it they're moving to other crypto named ethereum. The price only increase if people start involving on it. For example bitcoins, many people start invoking with bitcoin as result its price increase and now people are joining ethereum which case its price increasing and bitcoin starting decreasing. If it happen continuously, then they isn't far when ETH surpass bitcoins. |

Bitcoin is not just a life saver but also a life changer. Before, I don't know anything about investment. I'm just a minimum wage earner and my salary is most of the time insufficient to my needs. My family is struggling financially. When Bitcoin was introduced to my life, everything changed. At first, I invested a very little portion of my salary to HYIP and gambling hoping that my life will change instantly as what those sites promised me but I was scammed multiple times. It was devastating so I decided to stop investing on Bitcoin. After a few months, I saw some posts on social media on how Bitcoin changed a person's life so I decided to give it another try but this time, I will make sure to invest in myself first and study more about cryptocurrency. I learned about this forum and from here, I learned more things about Bitcoin specially on trading and investments. Now, I cannot say that I'm completely financially free but I can say that I'm already earning more than enough for me and my family's needs.
Bitcoin gave me another hope about life. There are times when we are feeling wasted and wants to give up but before you give up, ask your self first if you already did your best. There are times that we will definiyely lose and people will ruin our dreams but that is not a reason to stop. Just like on my experience, I got scammed but after a few months, I gabe it another shot. If I gave up, I might still ne struggling financially.
Life will definitely throw you lemons. All we need to do is learn how to make it into lemonade. I'm very thankful to Bitcoin. To all investors out there, just invest on your self first and I assure you, you'll get profit from it!

Well Its hard to believe. CMC is one of the biggest website and they are getting a lot of revenue by high amount of traffic to their sites. If they are doing such shitty things in exchange of money, they will lose their trust and repo and will no longer be able to attract such high viewer ship. I hope it was a mistake and they keep on giving us right information. |

Its just waste of time, You have to luckiest enough to win these lottery and not every person have luck. Anyways i don't think its world first bitcoin lottery since i haven't heard such news on internet so its hard for me to believe. If you do some more research you will find many such lotteries in different part of the world.

Everyone in the crypto space has had people tell them that Bitcoin is worthless or that it doesnt have any true value.
Of course, thats infuriating to hear, but for investors new to the space, its sometimes hard to craft a good answer.

6. Bitcoin cant be counterfeited.
7. Bitcoin isnt tied to other asset classes and is a hedge against other investments.
In short, Bitcoin solves massive problems with the financial and political world, and that is its value.
And because its the most tested and has first mover advantage, it has been established as a store of value, much like digital gold.
