a note to inform the community that the new granite wallet will be released very shortly ...
testing has conclusively proven that the backend code has been improved and reliable - and will be updated to github very soon ...
they are mainly technical changes - and mainly to prepare the codebase for a complete change ...
the windows and osx wallets will be prepared soon - and the links will be posted here when they are ready ...
the major change in this wallet version is the location of the wallet files - as the codebase has been changed to the standard naming convention .of 'granite' and lowercase ...
which also means that the wallet location will change from .GraniteCoin to .granite ...
this will be an easy conversion - and steps to do so will accompany the release of the wallet ... as will details of the other changes to this version of granite ...
the release will happen within the next week ...
and LOTS more coming in the near future ... especially the full rebase of granite on the new code - which we have decided will more than likely be based on the new dash code - with prepararions for some of our changes to boot ...

interesting project
there are dozens of semi-established coins in need of professionals helping maintain the basics:
node system - seednodes - mining proxy donation systems - mining pools - etc
hi mate ... nice to see you around ... its been a while ... this is actually a group of projects under one roof ... all ours of course - but the premise is the same if we extend it out to others ... to make sure we get our projects established first and implement all that has ben envisioned - is the goal ... then we can work on many other things which can include the services ... i have already setup the donation mining links a long time ago ( dbm ) with very few miners willing to donate their mining hash to the developers using this method ... we will still have this project running and available through nicehash - but will be much improved and much easier to get into using our own pool system and setup ... currently in progress ( alpha -which will change to beta very soon when the hidiff stratums come into play ) at http://mpos.granitecoin.com/ ... which will eventually change to the http://mpos.chainworksindustries.com/ domain when the full stratums are tested thoroughly ... we have also been supporting others for a while now also - bern - don - drz - egc - mtr - as well as our own grn and ozc - with full serviced nodes ( some of which have hardcoded into their wallets ) ... all this will be updated ( im hoping ) this weekend coming ... the website is in the design stages now - and will be continuously worked on ... which will incorporate the updated http://granitecoin.com/ website also ... so many things planned - but will take time to put all together - ultimately in the one http://chainworksindustries.com/ site ... will be fully testing the new granite wallets within the next couple of days - and if all is well - will be releasing them soon after ... all this while im working full time and being part of a competent team ( theteam ) of developers and entrepreneurs ... looking forward to it all ... #crysx |

seemed that egc-seed2.granitecoin.com was down ...
it was behind by about 40kblocks - so i got to reinstating that node quicksmart ...
all caught up and all running like clockwork again ...
lunch break almost finished - so back to work in a few minutes ...
in recent news ... all nodes in our umbrella cwi ( which includes all the egc nodes ) will have a downtime for about 15mins between 11-12th august UK london time ...
all systems will be upgraded to new setup - which will mean a better experience and performance for the nodes and all functionalities of the systems we have ...
a few more systems will be added very shortly - especially for the payment processing services - to ease the conversion of purchases for cwi ... this means some great news for coins that will be part of the system - egc included ... the systems is still a few weeks away - but the infrastructure will be installed and upgraded as soon as possible to facilitate the implementation ...
seems egc is doing very well exchangewise - which is a great thing indeed ...

How can be something stable if increased 110 times.
Is the Price Stable at the moment , No it is shooting UP like a rocket. At some point , Evergreen growth should stabilize due to it being a Proof of Stake coin and selling any means you just decreased your ability to make more. That is what I meant from That Proof Of Stake is the only Real Way to Have a Decentralized Stable Coin with a Stable investment and make Money in the long run.Where that price point is, is anyone guess. (As of right now the Market is trying to determine an accurate value for the coin.)
So do you think this is a paradigm shift or an abnormally?  FYI: As of the moment it is now over 160 X its june 23rd value. these sorts of 'stabilizatons' and fluctuations are merely an indication of the current state of the market for egc - nothing more ... no one can predict - nor estimate what will happen to any of the markets unless you actually do have a crystal ball and can fortell the future ... but for now - the price is good and the interest is good ... all it takes is a whale to dump - and the 'correction' will be at the lower rate until another change happens ... so who knows ... one can only hope its stays at the growth rate it currently is - or stays at a high price rate for trading ... fingers crossed - and hope that we all make a good deal out of the increase ... #crysx |

So eventually can we get your dev to help this coin out instead of having to rely on just one person? I mean it is all open source stuff, so where one person leaves off, another person can pick up, right?
yes - its all open source - so anyone can pick it up and start over with it ... and yes - this means IF we take it under our wing - we can start on the development once again ... but that is highly unlikely until its all sorted with soopy ... he and i may have our differences - but we ( at least i still am ) hold a huge amount of drz to let it go easily ... and personally - soopy is an awesome guy ... reliability is the issue i have always had with him - as he has his fingers in too many pies - and doesnt focus on one ( or a couple of projects that he can handle ) at anyone time ... which is the reason i started 'theteam' in the first place - so we can work on all that is under OUR projects and focus primarily on those projects alone ... soopy wanted in - but as you can see - i have had the SAME issues getting hold of him as eevryone else - and the granite project ( grn ) was delay by more than 7months because of it ... no more ... granite is the flagship coin / project now for cwi - and will be redeveloped to the extents that i envisioned ( and explained in detail to soopy at the time ) and will be the focus ... the other coins / projects we have under our wing will also be developed for their own purpose and design ... right now - the infrastructure is the focus - and the development of granite ... the others will come in time - but we cannot focus on any project we cannot fully take on ... drz has too many fingers in it - and will continue to be this way until something changes in that area ... so - without writing another novel - we 'could' take it on - but it would have to be with everyones support AND with a clear design of where the coin will go AND if soopy is willing to join / surrender his hold on it ... i can assure you though - that if cwi take it - it will be assimilated into granite - as the plans for granite FAR outreach anything for droidz ... apart from that - im off to get some more work done ... and btw - im STILL convinced im not a wrinkly old woman that 'fingers' everyone ... well - maybe the f-you part is true ... #crysx |

C-cex is staking customers PoS coins, and most likely dumping them on their exchange. When I questioned support about it, this was the response I got. 2016-07-19 14:35:42 C-CEX support Usually we disable staking. But sometimes when wallet hangs or require resync our staff restart it and forget to disable it. If you don't want your coins staked - just keep them in your wallet. http://imgur.com/a/EA1bKStaking gets disabled in the .conf, so no need to disable it when wallet restarts. Funny how none of the other exchanges have this issue........ I got my first ban, after three years, for mentioning c-cex staking their coins. Perma-banned for saying they went to the dark side. Not looking good, if you look at the what happened towards the end of Craptsy. Too many similarities, and too many scamcoins added each week, probably in house coins. No respectable exchange would list the crap they have lately. They have been listing coins with no block explorers........ Approach with caution! If any of you have withdrawn from c-cex recently, check your transaction, and see if it came from a wallet that was staking. I will be posting this in every PoS coin thread that is listed on c-cex. Good luck with your coin. Maybe without c-cex dumping their stakes, there could be less sell pressure. Total up all the coins they staked.. 50,000? They earned a max of $15. Oh no!!! I'm shocked DRZ isn't on the chopping block from C-Cex. There has been no volume in a long time. I say if they are going to keep the wallet on there, let them stake. I start my day with a glass of water, some muesli, and at least 3-pieces of fruit i.e. an Apple, one or two Bananas / or a pear, and an orange/mandarin (sometimes some berries or dates). I can't stress enough just how much this habit keeps me healthy! Portdavenport and being heavily into fitness also - i do a very similar routine ... though i have been lazy lately - its picking back up again ... life is good ... #crysx Totally agree, Mate! I train a mix of Upper Body Weights, lower body Abs and back work for posture, combined with a 3.25km run and half km swim. To do this, at least in my experience, eating McDonalds or taking Antibiotics is out of the question.
This is not food... This is food... now that is something ... i dont run - but cardio in other means ( hiit ) is my way ... funny how you put an apple up there - i just finished my second a few moments ago - and started on my tuna veges brown rice ... YUM! ... and today is one of my cheat day todays - along with tomorrow for a half day ... i would spend thousands of egc buying that - thats for sure ... #crysx |

@Crysx, IMOThe Point of Decentralization of any coin allows the freedom to spend it on what is agreeable between individuals. We had similar discussions in the ZEIT forum, but the sticking point was Gambling not pot. Poppies are an interesting topic , in the fact the most horrid drug know as heroin is produced from them and has ruin many lives. Yet Morphine can also be made from poppies , and it has been used to save lives, in many medical incidents. Alcohol although perfectly legal has destroy more lives and quality of life than all other drugs combined. Would you also like it banned from being purchased with this coin. If so you have to completely Centralized it and exert totalitarian control over it and its users. You could even make the point that since people have car wrecks from speeding , that no one should be allowed to purchase a car with this coin. (After all it is for there own good, right?) Except for the fact , it removes freedom of choice from everyone , which would be akin to slavery, and that is never anything to aspire too. The Final conclusion , we came too , was this , Freedom was more Important than Safety , as true happiness can only be obtained from being free and being allowed to determine your personal future. In regards to Pot , the US Government labeled it as a gateway drug mainly to create laws to destroy your rights, that is the real reason it was made illegal. In doing so , they gave themselves the right to search you , your home, your land , your car , all on the pretense you may be carrying Pot. The original Founders of the US Constitution would be appalled, that Amendment IV of the Bill of rights is being violated. Amendment IV

In order to fight and defeat this enemy, it is necessary to wage a new, all-out offensive(Sharp, 1994, p.1).” hi mate ... your points are valid and understood ... but where did i say anything about banning anything? ... the ENDORSEMENT of such is where im at ... i have my own reasons ( and yes - life and death situations ) that are the reason i am against drugs in so many ways - but drugs in general have always been a part of life and can help in situations of medical assistance - so there is no argument there ... in fact - a lot of those who take drugs - can argue facts and figures - when all this is is an opinionated discussion ... endorsement for me is not something i am going down - even though i back and support steven in the endeavours of crypto ... we have in fact become team members - and as such will work together in some pretty big ways ... it ME that doesnt endorse these drugs - and i wont ... simple ... does that mean i want anything banned? ... nup ... not at all ... money is the main 'drug' here that almost everyone requires to sustain life - so if the drug industry is one of those things that will be delved into and made money from - then i wont stand in anyones way ... i will NOT endorse the use of these drugs - but that will not mean i want it all banned ... i never mentioned once where i want it 'banned' from being bought by egc grn or btc ... not once ... its all an individual thing - and my life experiences have shown me that these drugs - recreational or not and especially alcohol - CAN be quite destructive ... but to each their own mate ... egc will be used to buy lots of things - especially if we can help it when we finish the shopping system on cwi ... ... btw - nixon was the main one but the outlaw of drugs was mostly discriminatory and racist ... the chinese opium houses where the one 'taking our women' from us ( beign the bored housewives of america ) and they were all 'going to the chinamen' of the day that were allowing these women to stay in the opium dens and do what they want there ... look at the history of drugs - and see for yourselves ... the racism is started all over again now with the presidency and the 'wall building' attitudes of a society that seems to be in such an uproar - that drugs are only a small issue if any at all ... the REAL 'silk road' for opium / poppies was the catalyst - not the reason for the war on drugs ... so many people with drug abuse issues? ... hehehe ... no more than before mate - which is why it all began ... racism - hate - and ultimately GREED for MONEY and LUST for POWER ... it seems its more important to conjure up the racist and misogynistic attitudes - than to create peace and harmony ... opinions are just that - opinions ... but when experience shows the cruel mistakes of history in all its forms - one would think that people learn from it ... but once again - history will continue to repeat itself ... hence the whole reason for my initial post - the ENDORSEMENT ... its a good thing that 'society' is being much more progressive than before ... or is it? ... eitherway - my opinions are just that - opinions ... nothing more ... there is still a long way to go than just a price jump to make any project successful ... and i KNOW steven has a lot more up his sleeve on that front - and so have i ... there is a lot going on - and a lot that needs to progress ... and there is little time to waste on it all ... #crysx |

You are right, I don't want EGC in the limelight. I want EGC famous. In this set to explode industry as well. Which is one of the fastest growing industries and is perfect for crypto because banks and traditional financial institutions refuse to get with the times. Even in my slow-moving state of Ohio legislation is passing. We are very much on our way to decriminalizing and it is time for people to realize and accept that. With that will come safer production without the use of chemicals that may be harmful, for which the plant unjustly gets the blame of causing negative side effects. The only thing I said, in what I presumed a private conversation mind you, was I did not want EverGreenCoin labeled 'another' 420/pot/cannabis/weedcoin. Something that I have been fighting since day 1 of this thread. EGC is for all things environmental and yes, a plant does fit that bill. I wanted to establish very well that EGC is not a scam nor fly-by-night nor another 'weedcoin' project. I feel I have done that and the time has come. These efforts come from me and an investor and a very pivotal one at that. We have much more in the pipeline on this front. Some of which have never been done by another coin. All of which will bring new people and utility to EGC. Some of which is helping the project on other fronts also. No, I am not changing my focus or EGC's focus. This will be a separate 'branch' of EGC and managed by someone else day-to-day and reporting to and supervised by me. We are growing by leaps and bounds daily, not only in regards to the price but in the number of people involved as well. Our scope is and remains the environment. I am gaining the resources to serve all avenues of that scope. No, I do not partake myself and this is not a personal endorsement but that does not mean I am blind enough to overlook the mounting medical evidence of the benefits nor the forthcoming markets and potential. I feel the placement and timing of this are perfect for EverGreenCoin. noted ... and i could argue many points there - 'natural plants' ... why not promote opium poppies? ... thats an awesome industry that make much more money ... im not arguing though - as we all have our conditions and reasons and beliefs that determine the ways we live and work ... i said i was with you on this - and i am ... just some things get under my skin - and drugs are one of those things ... legalized or not - the detriment ( and positives ) that come from all forms of drugs are never going to go away in society ... we only have to have a look at big pharma companies ... some of the largest in the world producing vast quantities of 'good' and bad drugs - and making a TON of money in the process ... in fact - some of the largest companies uin the world are pharmaceutical companies ... and some of the most powerful ... im not on here very often any more - due to the full time contract ive taken on ... but from what ive seen - egc is getting its just deserts for all the hard work we have been putting into it ... especially you steven ... time to elevate to another level - this much i must agree with ... and also time to see egc grow exponentially ... still catching up on the threads - i have a lot of reading and answering to do ... which will probably take the whole weekend now ... chat soon mate ... ill be on skype ... #crysx |
