441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Defining Risk on: November 14, 2018, 04:59:47 AM
I find it confusing defining risk in fiat when looking to place a trade due to the numerous exchange rates. Does anybody use a spreadsheet which does all the calculations for them upon entering price, stop loss and desired risk in fiat?

If yes, would you be willing to share the spreadsheet which you use?
We have our own strategies and I don't think. Professionals will just keep their knowledge and use their strategies to make money. I mean, if you want to learn strategies in trading then you must pay first before they give their copies of spreadsheets or share their knowledge.
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever exist in currency notes? on: November 14, 2018, 04:05:31 AM
It might interest you to note that the bitcoin policy has been accepted and implemented by some banks. Not long ago, I read a post on this platform which stressed on the facts that there are bitcoin ATMs in some parts of the Europe and United States.

The question is " how will these ATMs  operate?" Will customers withdraw money in the form of Bitcoin notes or fiat??? Please share your views on this topic. I need clarifications.
Ofcourse they will withdraw they bitcoin already converted to fiat on what currency they are using. I can also encash my bitcoin through ATM machines and it is already converted with our currency which is peso.
443  Economy / Speculation / Re: How news influence the market. on: November 14, 2018, 03:26:50 AM
as we know from the beginning of 2018 a lot of fake news spread, especially the prohibition on FUD so that it can greatly affect market price movements to date, many people who are easily panicked hear the many false news that spread so much that it makes investors doubt can invest in cryptocurrency
That's true, really fake news are destroyer of the cryptocurrencies, a lot of big investors are always update for those fake news which is not good to the market of cryptocurrencies. I don't know how can we able to avpod those fake news for us to have a good marketing strategies again with bitcoin.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your views on cryptocurrencies on: November 13, 2018, 05:38:08 AM
How do you view the current condition of coin prices, will it have an impact on the sustainability of cryptocurrencies?
In my opinion, cryptocurrencies at this point is struggling because after the last ATH's it drops so hard this year which we all didn't expect but hopefully this is a good time to buy bitcoin because of its low price and I think this is the best time for investing coins.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts coin vs BTC on: November 12, 2018, 12:46:46 PM
I want to know that which will be more profitable in future BTC or alts? Though i am a die heart fan of BTC but for now i think alts will be more profitable than BTC. So what's your opinion? Comment please.
There are times that altcoins are more profitable than bitcoin and there are also times that bitcoin is more profitable than altcoins, so as of now if you think that altcoin is more profitable then invest with altcoins, no one will stop you from investing. If that is your thought then that is good because you have your own opinion and that is what you notice in the market as of now which is true, because bitcoin is stable as of now.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: November 12, 2018, 11:19:35 AM
There is a popular saying that invest only what you can afford to loose. Some people are making the mistake of investing all their life savings into crypto and other ventures. Some people even went as far as borrowing money or even using their properties as collaterals to borrow money so as to invest into crypto. This is a wrong idea and it might cost you a lot.
Every investment has its risks. So consider the the risk involved by taking each step at a time and do not jump in once.
I agree, once we are not that good in investing then don't take a lot of risks and don't put ALL your capital or money into it, especially if this is your 1st time in investing in crypto world. We must know how to handle our monthly budget and at the same time our investment. Once you know how to handle money then for sure you know where to put your investments.
sometimes many people want to get profit as soon as they expect. but without thinking that there are learning stages that he must carry out, and strategies that must be implemented
Yeah we need also a good learning because it is also an investment for earning. Learning is a part of earning good profit for everything. We also need to have good analyzing sometimes and good understanding even in a small part of our work for us to make an additional knowledge.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin Cash will take place of Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2018, 11:07:56 AM
I don't think bitcoin cash will replace bitcoin because bitcoin cash is also one of all altcoins out there and altcoins are mostly relying to bitcoin so for me there is no way to replace bitcoin by bitcoin cash.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative currency ( paper money ) on: November 12, 2018, 11:04:35 AM
If there was an alternative currency (paper money) unregulated by the Government would you use it?
As long as I can use it and has a value then why not, of course I will use it if it has a value especially if I can use it for shopping. LOL.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too difficult to understand? on: November 12, 2018, 07:49:37 AM
I feel like the biggest problem with Bitcoin is the "understanding" of it.
What do you think?

It is too difficult for you to understand.  Please don't waste time trying.  Maybe go watch a comedy show or something.  That is probably good for you.  Jimmy Fallen for example.  But your brain is not suitable for things like Bitcoin.

we can actually understand that, provided we want to try. we must learn bitcoin not to just look at it. why should we go into bitcoin if we understand bitcoin just don't want to. learn first about bitcoin. because we all have the opportunity to understand bitcoin.

It was really hard to understand bitcoin at first, but once you really want to get connected into it and really want to learn bitcoin then surely you will understand bitcoin in the right time. I am also getting a hard time before knowing bitcoin and I am lucky to have a brother that is not lazy to teach me what is bitcoin.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: November 12, 2018, 12:09:32 AM
After recent changes to the merit system, I am trying to do something useful and contribute to the forum. And this is what I collect, hopefully it will change my merit.

This is an article about that, a gambling disorder in most young people
- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5841330/
As stated in the article, experts and analysts know the causes and issues that lead to gambling addiction, they have clearly spoken about the dangers, consequences, and effects of gambling on the nerves and health of a person then there is a series of methods to stop that. But we are still here very clearly, the number is still increasing significantly every year, it has no signs of diminishing, even rising dizziness.

And the problem here is I want to ask why that happens? All the information is complete but people still can not solve the gambling addiction problem, the analysis is useless or our greed still dominates all.

Please let me know your opinion on this issue and if you have enough power, what would you do to solve this

We cannot control their mind, that's why gambling addiction is still increasing. Maybe they just love to take risk and afterwards become addicted. Playing gambling is not about how we believe to those article, we still doing what we wanted even if we all know the bad result of it.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: November 11, 2018, 12:24:01 PM
I don't think that it can call as a hard work, playing gambling is not like you are also working on your job. Does it depend on chances of winning so where's the hard work there? I don't think will consider as a hard work.
Hardwork is coming from hard labor jobs, but totally in gambling it doesn't count so far. Maybe it can be a form of efforts coming from the desires which results either winning or losing in a certain bets you had in a gambling game, neither online or physical gambling. Most of gambling games nowadays comes in a virtual form which can be performed through internet based engines, and much more enjoyable compared from traditional gambling.
Yes, so I can't really consider playing gambling as a hard work. Maybe the author of this thread means that we need some hard work on playing gambling but I don't think we really need hard work for playing gambling. We doesn't know if we are going to win in gambling or not so don't take too serious about this kind of activity using a hard work.
452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange for a new crypto investor? on: November 11, 2018, 09:58:09 AM
Hey all!

I'm fairly new to the crypto world and was looking some info about exchanges and which ones might be the best for newcomers like me. I stumbled upon this podcast which seems helpful - http://cryptoandblockchaintalk.com/episode-11-crypto-exchanges-for-new-investors
But looking to hear your opinions as well. Where do you trade and what are your recommendations?

Thanks
Willy
I use ForkDelta but not all coins are there I think, IDEX is also good for exchanger, you can also try there of you to know if it is okay for you. These two (IDEX and ForkDelta) is what I am using right now.
453  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Have you ever bought a product with Bitcoin and what do you want to buy? on: November 11, 2018, 09:54:22 AM
Today, many people use Bitcoin for investment purposes. There are a lot of people who have paid with Bitcoin before, what do you think about this?

I also used bitcoin for paying bills online with my wallet which is coins.ph and it is very convenient for me to pay no need to go outside. I still didn't try to buy a product online using bitcoin payment but I also want to try when I saw some online shop that is accepting bitcoin. For me it is very convenient for paying.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: November 11, 2018, 09:51:37 AM
I dont disagree with you. In fact you have a big point in your theory but the exception to this is not all gambling are enjoyable. Lotto for instance is not fun, not all betting is fun so for someone to be willing to let go of their money they must choose game which would really make them enjoy so whether they win or lose there will be nothing to regret as long as they enjoyed.
I agree, not all gambling is enjoyable, some gambling games are also stressful to us, LOL because sometimes we are thinking how we can win that kind of game because some gamblers really want to get the prize/jackpot.
455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2018, 09:36:51 AM
Of course you can be rich with Bitcoin and still have the right time to buy Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin's price is very low and now it is possible to earn a lot of profits in the future. So, I do not think you'll miss this golden opportunity.
Do you think that bitcoin will still rise again its price in the future? If that's so, then it is really better to buy bitcoins now, as long as bitcoin as its low price today. Just like when bitcoin last year, most people buy bitcoin at $7k then wait until December so they get profited last year, but to those who buy bitcoin at a high price lose their bitcoin because it drops hard also. Huh We all really don't know when the market will recover or will drop again.
456  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pain of holding bitcoin in 2017. on: November 11, 2018, 09:32:42 AM
I think people become familiar for the current market situation because the prices were at the current range for months now so the people who can't hold may already sold and it the who are ready to accept and face the whatever consequences are still holding the coin.No pain no gain so hold the coins if you want the huge benefits someday.
I agree, so it is up to us now if we still want to hold or to wait until bitcoin price will recover, or if it is still recovered someday then that is good for those who hold until now. Maybe we need a long patience right now with cryptocurrencies because as I saw, cryptocurrencies are struggling.
457  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would YOU choose to live forever? on: November 11, 2018, 08:37:59 AM
We all know that living forever is too impossible, but if I would choose, I just want to stay in this world for a long time for me to be with my family and make good memories for a long period of time. I want to give my family a good life as long as I can. As of now, I can't manage to give all what they want and what they really need. I am still trying to do the best I can for them.
458  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What is the most critical moments in Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin history on: November 11, 2018, 08:21:02 AM
Hi All Members,

Most critical moments in Cryptocurrency history of yourself;
01. Most Painful Cry Cry
When someone hack bitcoin before so the whole cryptocurrency world are panicking and making panic selling.
The other is when bitcoin make ATH's last year and then drops hard as if it is not stopping from dropping and thinking if bitcoin will go too soon, but I am wrong and still, bitcoin is remaining.

02. Happiest Grin Grin

What we do in that moments!

Appreciate your reply to newcomers for cryptocurrency industry
Is when I got the biggest bitcoin I earned. hehe.
459  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: November 11, 2018, 08:02:33 AM
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
When I introduced bitcoin to them they are also asking what bitcoin really is then after a few moments they will ignore it again, maybe they are not that interested in bitcoin because they don't know the value of bitcoin and how it really helps us most of the time and when we are just really relying with bitcoin like me.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - the future stable coin on: November 11, 2018, 07:52:40 AM
Hahaha, Maybe that's true because as of now, bitcoin is still around $6k to $6.5k, and nothing change until now maybe its been 2-3months from now since we have a stable amount of bitcoin.
