Why would I use NXT tokens for betting, NXT token is an asset and I don't think it is designed for betting purpose. Another thing to consider is that NXT is moving to Ardor platform, and NXT value is expected to move down with time, I just think using NXT tokens for betting is not right
NXT is the token to do transactions on the Nxt blockchain, NXT is not an asset on the Nxt blockchain. So Nxt is the platform and NXT is the token. Same as Bitcoin is the platform and bitcoin is the token. -- Nxt and Ardor platform are two separate projects and two separate blockchain platforms. Both have their own usecases and thus projects. Value of Nxt will most probably go up as people discover the tech and builtin by the blockchain protected features. |

i have a lot of NXT, What will i do them?  price is under my foot... You have two choices : 1: sell for Ardors 2: buy n hold until Ignis hype. or you can buy other assets running on top of nxt then hold for dividends.  I have a lot of nxt tied up in assets on the nxt assetexchange. Does anyone know if the assets on the nxt assetexchange will migrate to ARDR/Ignis? Is this even possible? I think it would be great if assets would migrate and would be directly tradeable against BTC. Depends on the issuer of the Asset. If he wants to have it on Nxt it stays there, if he wants it on Ardor it will be issued there. The person can also think of changing it to a Child Chain on Ardor. |

If you have a lot of NXT i suggest you buy ARDR it has sa a lot to offer i tried trading NXT but i got burnt a lot.

buy ardr with nxt or buy ardr with btc? i am still not sure what i shall do with my NXT. whats your advice?
There are still months to go before the snapshot, its better to trade some of it, the volatility is good after the BTC drama Has that snapshot not already occured for ARDR though. There is another NXT snapshot but that is to receive IGNIS and that will take place in Q3 2017? Ardor snapshot was from july till october 2016. Ignis snapshot will be q3 2017 |

Noob question, I picked up some NXT as well as Ardor. In terms of forging, does it forge when I'm offline or do you need to be logged in to be able to forge?
Start NXT, log in with your passphrase to enable forging, close the browser, but leave NXT running - the account will be forging. I don't think the forging is that rewarding, the NXT snapshot is coming in the Q3 2017, my concern for NXT is that will this be the end of NXT project, I'm looking now to accumulate more NXT tokens because I know the price will pumped when snapshot for ignis move closer. What about forging Ardor after Q3 2017? Technically if we have both, both will forge correct? Sorry just trying to wrap my head around it. Nxt and Ardor are 2 different projects and 2 different blockchain platforms with both their own client. You can have both Ardor and Nxt on 1 pc/laptop/vps/Raspberry Pi etc for forging. |

Can someone explain to me exactly what IGNIS will be and what it will do..I have been hearing about it being a child chain but how will we be able to get it?  I am trading ARDOR as well on POLO to try to get some free from profits to hold long term. Ignis is the 1st Child Chain of ardor. You will get free IGNIS by holding NXT and keep your NXT on the main live date of Ardor. Ignis is used for the features on the Child chain. Ardor is for securing and forging. |

How Nxt and Ardor are related? When you're saying Nxt 2.0 is coming you actually mean that Ardor is coming, which is improved Nxt or you mean Nxt will be upgraded to 2.0 version? Ardor is based on Nxt, sharing much of its code, but implementing some new features. You can read more about it here: https://nxt.org/announcing-ardor/"Nxt 2.0" was the first name given to it, but eventually it was renamed "Ardor" to make clear it is not making Nxt obsolete and it's not going to replace it. Ardor solves specific issues with scalability and flexibility, but Nxt is still being developed and will continue to be so. Over the last months, the devs have released several updates, and more are planned. Nxt and Ardor occupy different niches and are not competing directly. There is overlap, but not completely and we are very actively pitching Nxt to businesses. I think NXT should be kept developing as "NXT classic". Not all current applications need Ardor's new features. For those applications that only require classic NXT features, they would love to see NXT will continue its own path of development. Nxt and Ardor will both be supported and developed. Two different projects. Dont you worry about that. |

Never had a problem with my NXT 1.8.2 wallet on Windows.
Now it doesnt work well.
Every time I started my wallet,it opens,and then few minutes later it said-Blockchain download halted,no connection!
There is connection,no doubt.
Now it is 117 133 blocks away from complete download/sync.
How to sync it?
