How did you get your miners when BITMAIN have stopped shipping to India?, is there an alternative shipping service or anything? can you give some details about the amount of duty and tax you had to pay?
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon's A4 Dominator, 1.2W/Mhs 14nm ASIC and miner, open for Partners on: November 26, 2017, 11:00:29 AM

Its out now. I get the final payment and i have to pay for each unit 3320$ with psu . First and last time buying stuff from innosilicon. In the offer from sept there wss only explained that if you order A4 you getting automatically an update for A4+ units.. there was fucking nothing explained about the price announcement or the price politics frum this "company".

On twitter they get a shitstorm for the A5 and now also for A4plus too.
Im thinking @ 2018 innosilicon will getting out of miner business
Now we have to pay wit EU fee and transport all together something around 12500$ for fucking 3 Innosilocon units 👍and roi maybe with good luck mid 2019.
Next orders only @ bitmain and rly fu Innosilocon and thx for waiting 4 months..

Greetings

Yeah, it is just ridiculous business by these people...but, given that they had a genuine reason (A4+ Upgrade), I have no choice but to be content with what they are doing - just because a good amount of money I ve already invested in this. I just don't worry about the ROI, it is pointless at this time, it wil only make me more anxious, seeing LTC/BTC price go up calms me down..I consider myself lucky if i get my hands on them miners on december atleast.

Thanks for the update man.

445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Monero with CPU on: November 25, 2017, 04:11:49 PM
I'm interested in this as well, not specifically Monero, but any altcoint that can bring a solid profit. Since im new in the game, im having a hard time mining anything...
I have i7 7700k, and I got COOLER MASTER 212 LED Turbo Dual Fan few days ago to keep it cool.  I get about 75h\s on btcheat  on 70% load & 60C temp, and some good profits there as well, but I would like to get some crypto as well...Any ideas?

You can try Verium : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1540023.0

btcheat is a scam, don't waste your CPU cycles on that site..

Verium is by far the best CPU-mineable coin right now (in my opinion)....i.e. if you want to just mine some and hold it....

If you are looking to make some BTC, try nicehash miner..that ll be the best option if you are looking for immediate profit.

447  Local / Mining (India) / Issue with Customs - Need Update on: November 25, 2017, 09:00:35 AM
I am trying to bring some Scrypt Miners from china - which I ve ordered on June. What is the current situation of customs clearing ? Do they still make unnecessary problems saying stuff like BTC is illegal etc?

Anyone who has an update about this, please post here...It will be great help for people like me..

Thanks
448  Local / India / Re: Ways to buy bitcoins without credit card on: November 25, 2017, 08:56:36 AM
I think Unocoin have an option to buy BTC through e-wallet (PayUmoney)... You can also use localbitcoins to buy using e-wallet.

Every exchange like Unocoin, Coinsecure, Zebpay supports bank transfer, you may try that also...

Goodluck
449  Local / India / Re: Backed by BillDesk, Coinome launches as a cryptocurrency exchange in India on: November 25, 2017, 08:02:12 AM
I ve registered a day ago and the process was smooth, it took just minutes to clear KYC, the platform looks really solid. It is indeed a sign of progress of cryptocurrency and how much people are accepting it.

looking forward to hear from people who did trading through this exchange.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ASIC Farm or GPU Farm ? on: November 25, 2017, 05:47:21 AM

This can be risky if you overclock it, but there will be no problem if you do not overclock it so it will not go out of warranty. However, I still recommend asic miner devices.

Can ASIC handle power outages..do they get damaged if there happens to be one? When I used to mine with GPU, the power usually goes out once everyday... I have noticed slight damages to my cards...It sometimes gets stuck/hang etc..

I am wondering if ASICs can get damaged by sudden loss of power

I thing GPU is better, because more potential Smiley

Do you think GPU mining will become more profitable than ASICs? why?
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ASIC Farm or GPU Farm ? on: November 24, 2017, 09:38:27 PM
Asic's are being more profitable right now because they are having a better technology at the moment, GPU's are not worth it, and you want to invest a good amount of money, so dont even think about buying gpu's because if you dont have a good source of energy, they can be burned.

The quality of power is not that great, also there are frequent power outages in my place - never consistent. So I guess it is risky to have a GPU farm running.. Do you think ASICs are much safer considering the quality of power and outages?

I suggest setting up a GPU mining farm. Because you can dig many coins with the GPU and you can sell these graphics cards very easily if you do not want to mining. I suggest you buy graphics cards.

I am a noob in mining, I have only mined with a couple of GPUs and a 4770k...no much experience other than that. But like MickeyT2008 said there is a chance of GPU/PSU getting burned..I ve to agree because the power is not so great or consistent.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ASIC Farm or GPU Farm ? on: November 24, 2017, 09:19:31 PM
I have already invested a good amount to get few ASIC miners from Innosilicon (A4+ LTCMASTER) and everything is going well except I had to wait 5 months for delivery.

Now, that I am thinking of expanding my mining - I have a good amount to invest, >=50K $...

Seeking advice from experienced miners, speculators and everyone, whether I should get some SHA, Scrypt, X11 Asics or Should I build a GPU mining farm...

Thank you, Have a Good Day!

460  Local / Mining (India) / Re: what is mining can anyone explain ? on: November 21, 2017, 08:28:15 AM
I don't know what is mining sum friend say mining is good earning platform but sum som of friend say is not good in present time i am totally confuse.

It takes lot of time and work behind mining, it is not a get-rich-quick method. There are lots of risk that you must be willing to take, there are lot of scam trying to lure new people into cloud mining and such - stay away from those.

If you really wan't to do this, try mining some altcoins with your pc - then you ll understand whats going on.

Basically, miners are those who confirms a transaction that took place in the network, they will do this by running algorithms like SHA-256 etc..  For mining, you need to have a basic skill in handling computers and sometimes advanced skill to setup or troubleshoot.

Use this forum to do your research and get familiar with the technology (it is very interesting), then you ll know what exactly you have in hand.
