I am not a troll but I honestly don't understand how it's possible to start paying masternodes from block rewards without hardfork.
We already had the hardfork to start paying them, but then had to switch them off temporarily. The fix & switching back on doesn't need a hardfork. |

So... how many masternodes are there currently, can we expect that number to at least double now, and what is the price likely to be once the required numbers of 1000DRK are bought and taken out of the market?  So.... 350k DRK must be bought for masternodes before the ROI falls even to the already pretty good level it was going to be before? Why isn't there a serious whale rush to buy happening right now? |

You can leave them running if they're on the right fork. They won't be paid for a while though. |

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone and an exchange were on the wrong fork, that person sent in coin, sold it, then withdrew, couldn't they end up with BTC and the original DRK and screw the exchange?
That's the only reason I can think of for disabling accounts.

During all this fork business Mintpal decided to "disable" my account for some reason, going to miss all the fun when they turn DRK back on  They disabled my account as well. Strange. Anyone else? Count me as disabled This stuff always scares me, got a lot of coins on there, hopefully it is temporary Wouldn't worry about it - I expect you guys all had open orders and the account was disabled to prevent them going through when the market is enabled. I didnt have any open orders before the shutdown and my account is still working fine. Mine's currently fine and I had orders on DRK/LTC. |

FAQ update: The introduction of RC2 masternode payment system led to network instability and fork issues due to some yet to be discovered issue which has not appeared under testing/trial conditions (testnet). A new wallet was launched to revert masternode payments on the 27th of May, so users, mining pools and exchages should update to latest wallet. Mining and network transactions are affected, so do not mine unless your pool is on the right fork and do not make transactions until the fork issue is solved. Some exchanges have frozen trading for precaution but assets on exchanges and wallets are safe. The issue should be resolved with the patch. Masternode payments will be re-introduced after reviewing the problem and eliminating the problematic functionality.
