For ICNX is it going to be tradable like any other token? Therefore will be pumping and dumping or do you litterally buy it and see profit coming back? I cant get a clear understanding of this.
In theory, it should work just like an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT7h-TxAUvIThe real benefit though is you don't have to worry about securing 12 different wallets and having to rebalance your positions every few weeks. It is all done for you. I would much rather own ICNX, compared to having 12 different cryptos on exchange that can get stolen or hacked. I also don't have time to manage 12 different wallets and the private keys and keeping track of everything I own. The cherry on top is each time some one buys or sells ICNX on Iconomi website, 1% fee is charged and paid to ICN holders every week. On top of that, 3% annual fee is charged for account maintenance and is paid to ICN holders as well. You know we could have a 3th pulse of FOMO (not sure in 2017) - USA investors are allowed to invest/create funds on OFM. If/When this happens it will be after OFM is operational for some time already, meaning it will have big exposure. Then we will see a real pump, USA market is a big thing.

Jani said on Slack that they will make the Launch announcement soon, probably this coming week. Not at all. Jani did not say such a thing. He said that the platform is usable for some already (some as a small group) and they still need to deploy better monitoring tools, etc. There is a different between 5-10 users and few thousand. |

In March-May, price should be stable around $2-$3. It will go sideways for a couple of months, with a few dumps. A clear cup and handle formation will show on the charts. Then June/July Following announcements: 1- OFM platform released - create your own fund bitches - will pump to ATH and find resistance around $5, this will be the handle part of the cup and handle formation 2- At the same time....Big PR campaign, Forbes, International Business times, even playboy will publish about ICN, start of new rally $5-$7 3 - At the same time... Damn, if icn will get to $50, I will buy Lambo for sure  It is likely that ICN will reach $50Byteball is already on $40. I will also buy a house besides lambo if ICN reach $50. 42-coin is at $897 and it's a complete shitcoin. Logically, this means ICN can easily surpass $1000 nah, and for sure not easily. Anything above $5 without a big and solid OFM userbase is going to be corrected by the market. |

Two quick questions:
1) How many tokens there are going to be? Only ICN? because it's very cofusing with the ICN index, ICN performance and all of that. I think they should stick to only 1 token otherwise its too much of a mess to manage.
2) How do you store ICN locally? Do I need to download the Omni Core blockchain? how big is it?
I don't trust Kraken or any exchange long term so I want to keep them on my own locally.
Ive never used ETH or any token from ETH so I dont know how it works to store locally the proper way.

And we will also receive dividends out of the fees of the Eth -Euro exchange of Iconomi.
Currently there is promotional zero fees on these exchanges. Later on they would be 1 %.
So if the daily exchange volume is $1 million, then we get about $3,000,000 in dividends just from exchange yearly.

Icn is a scam. Anyone want to take bets that their next "announcement" will go something along these lines -

The release was always going to be first quarter of 2017. So until told otherwise, assume the end of March.
They were almost ready to launch on Dec 28, but were delayed because they needed to apply fixes suggested by test group. Applying those fixes shouldn't take more than 3 to 4 weeks, unless they're rebuilding the entire platform from scratch.  "End of March" will be completely ridiculous, because that's long enough to build an entire fund management platform from scratch. So 3 months to build the first crypto fund management platform from scratch... Including design, architecture, setting the infrastructure, preparing the dev environment, writing the code, testing the code, UI... and few more You realise this platform will manage huge amount of money, do live trading on exchanges, etc And yet you know what is best for the project, how long it should take them to apply fixes and how long it takes to build it - all that without any actual look at it, and by the way you speak without having any clue whatsoever about coding or any other IT related project.. |
