441  Economy / Economics / Re: World has just ten weeks' worth of wheat left after Ukraine war on: May 23, 2022, 09:16:07 PM
for sure, these countries which are relying on ukraine's wheat will always find alternative sources like from china, india, US and other top wheat exporters. or look for wheat alternatives. i don't think they will wait for ukraine's supply just to go on with their lives. they know this situation is about to happen as the war is not yet ending. so high likely that they are already looking for other exporters. it is not the end of the world yet. so as long as we live, there's hope to find these alternative sources. and the reason why 1st world countries won't be affected by this situation is because there are other sources for wheat, maybe, if ukraine is the sole supplier but it is not.
Every country is playing politics with what is happening in Ukraine. Russia, Ukraine, USA and India are top producers of wheat and they are all affected with demand. Ukraine cant produce while everyone is avoiding Russia and USA has not being good business with many countries for a while now. If India now consider to announce to ban export to big countries amidst the price hike, what is the aim of the move?
442  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The power of youths in politics and ensuring your vote and every vote counts on: May 23, 2022, 08:49:28 PM
We might need to compare youth from different countries and compare the influence of some factors on countries youth. Most countries have their larger population in the youth, for a country that spend to help the country, it will have a significant effect. I will consider the following factors to help youths in any country;
1. Education will improve the cognitive thinking skill of their youth in choice of leader. They will be able to analyze aspirants, considering the track record in leadership, confidence, articulating his idea and convincing the populace on his or her idea of leading.
2. efficient and sane media channels will educate the populace especially the youths on the state of the country, the countries aspirants without bias and more discovery
3. Youth that are self sufficient because of available jobs and good income may be difficult to be influenced by politicians with money to buy his vote or use against a peaceful election
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ASIX+ 🎗️Main utility in project P2E games_NFT Marketplace and Metaverse. on: May 23, 2022, 04:05:53 PM
What about the ASIX development team? I previously heard that the ASIX development team has resigned, have you got a new development team? Team information displayed is only the family of the founder.
Asix token change to Asix+ because we rebrand after previous developer leave us. Now we have new team joined with us now. It was announced at telegram channel
There are more information about the family of the CEO than the actual team. You should look into this.
Is there any link to the team profile? The whitepaper does not have the full name of the members of team and there is no further link to get information about the team. Although the token is listed on pancakeswap, coingecko and CMC it does not proof that the coin is not a scam. I referred to the post on the telegram group of their non-involvement in the bounty and the claim of scam on it but was later denied by another admin, it is confusing to see such scenario among the admin. Is that they dont have any communication at all?
444  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] [PREVIEW] 1HoDLCLUB Q2 Collectibles ! on: May 22, 2022, 10:20:23 PM
IMO this look like an NFT project but with a physical exchange.I am always willing to see cryptocurrency project that has physical interacting entity that can be traded. The idea of trading digital asset most of the time looks in NFT look like money laundering especially with the size of fund involve. The portable/digital money fashion will serve as many function with safety
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 22, 2022, 10:09:45 PM
True that but I think people are more concerned now about that spending because of what Bitcoin is today and its worth but not really the spending. Looking at the worth of those Bitcoin today and the number of pizzas they were spent on is imbalanced if I may say it like that but people have to understand that we cannot compare then and now and people can actually spend because thats part of its essence too, I believe.

Is that really a good way of looking at things though? Like, "screw enjoying my life and spending $41 for some pizzas, this money could be worth a lot more pizzas in the future!" That's just dumb.

Look, if he was bullish on bitcoin in the first place, then he likely covered that 10,000 BTC and likely purchased a lot more than that.
I dont understand how people look at that guy foolishly. One of the constraints broken was the ability to use bitcoin as currency, It does not matter the value it was then. Beside no entity ever precede bitcoin, so it was difficult to believe it would turn out this way. Nothing prove that the pizza seller is still holding the coin and nothing prove the buyer used all the coin he had for the trade.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥[ANN][BNB Token] Wehub Network Ticker WEHUB🔥🔥🔥 on: May 22, 2022, 01:43:35 PM
why the launch of such a similar forum to bitcointalk? Almost the same interface
Why does the project have 3 different website?
what does the project mean by testing their token on the pancakeswap?
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin on: May 22, 2022, 01:34:28 PM
Rbtc has a longtime relationship with bitcoin and also able to keep the price very close to BTC for many years but I wonder how it has been quietly mentioned with Bitcoin over the years. This should have help coins like sovryn, babels and the rest on the blockchain through the market. Unfortunate Rbtc trade on only 2 top exchanges and the team is doing nothing about it.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypto Pirates - a Play2Earn NFT game on: May 21, 2022, 10:10:06 PM
Where do I get information on the project crowdfund and the state they are on the roadmap? According to the roadmap fund should have been raised now. what about token economics? NFTs purchase has massively decline but not absolutely stop due the market sentiment, how does the team plan to sustain the token trade?
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you should do in this type of market on: May 21, 2022, 07:17:54 PM
Yeah, it's going to be survival of the fittest now for the majority of the altcoins in the market. Some of them might live, but majority I think will die in this bear market. Not only that, there could be exchanges that are going to closed in this bearish trend just like in 2018. So it's going to be very tough for everyone, but for those who have seen this in 2018-2020 sure knows what's coming and how to adjust in this cycle.
Exchanges dont just close in the bear market if there is no hack,I feel most of the hacks either in bear and bull market are more of inside jobs. I also think decentralized exchanges will survive any bear market, more so DEXs rarely get hacked. The best advice is to reallocate in stable coin and get a job to save fund. Some feel the bear market will not be like previous market although nobody know how it will differ.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: CBN to stop circulation of Naira note on: May 21, 2022, 12:20:52 PM
Hey man, look, It is a bull$h*t move! You and I know they wouldn't do anything about paper money.
At first, I thought they were going to withdraw some Naira denominations from circulation because inflation has rendered 5 and 10 Naira note useless in the market, but it was their branded Enaira that they are forcing on people, I have never for onetime tried to download the app on my mobile.
Less than a year before the next election, watch how they will discard all of the things that current administrations have done, it is the Nigerian government's custom to abandon everything whenever there is a change in government.
The Government dont know as much as they should on cryptocurrency neither do they have any idea on the macro economy. Such action when election is approaching is suspicious and I think it is to launder fund in the country. Lets consider the reach on internet in Nigeria and how savvy the population is. Nigeria is not in a state to accept electronic currency with the height of corruption, I dont welcome it at all. The next phase of crytocurrency is for technology at large to adopt crycurrency, this direction like every other country is what i want from them before the government make any move.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: May 21, 2022, 08:35:01 AM

What activities are you doing online? Have you joined bounties, airdrops, or something similar where your address can get exposed publicly? Because that is one of the way for the scammers to see your address and send you scam tokens. If not and you are still receiving random tokens, why not use a new wallet address every time you have done a transaction? But not all wallets supports this kind of feature.
Do you realize you can have deposit of these coins in binance chain wallet with every transaction or deposits? I have wallet which are not used on bounty campaign at all but yet got this tokens, this not only in binance block chain but in polygon and ethereum. The important thing is to neglect the token and never try trading except you got no valuable coin in your wallet.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: May 20, 2022, 07:13:17 PM
I am used to getting random fake tokens in my wallet  Grin, it can be annoying at times but there is nothing you can do about it, leave those tokens as they are and remove them from the display of your wallet's dashboard, even if you abandon such wallet for another you will still be sent those fake tokens.
This form of scam attempt increased last year in the bull, some will even attach a ridiculous price value and may be followed up with exchanges to make trade. Its a form of phishing where the wallet are taken over by hackers. The scammers provide liquidity to the token on the site to lure the wallet holder, so in the process of transaction it fails. Everyone will need to find out the redflags to those token to avoid the trade.

Vitalik cements my original prediction of a merge in August  Cool
Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherMining/comments/utqthe/vitalik_at_eth_shanghai_may_20_on_the_merge_if/

Vitalik upheld the launch this year but he is not sure of the predicted August. There are chances date might change if any problem comes up in the block. It actually not far from the previous estimated date of June 2022, more also the roadmap has been updated and published. I am not sure it might have much of impact on Ethereum, altcoin and overall market. Bear market has not been proven otherwise with such development however I think this could be the first in the next phase into the coming cycle
454  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can America end the war in Ukraine?? on: May 19, 2022, 08:47:37 PM
Bernie Sanders spoke about the same scenario of USA many years back, and they responded in similar fashion. This war with Ukraine has been for a while but not this wide and destructive. Nato was the main cause of the war but it is still at intending state for Ukraine, Since NATO has response soft on acceptance everyone was angry on the bullish approach of Putin. After Putin has expended a large portion of it militia and failed to achieve his aim, I think it could be a good time to make him realize if they come in to settle it.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you own 1 Bitcoin? (2022 edition) on: May 19, 2022, 11:30:27 AM
The polling results are masked. No body knows who owns more or less than one.
The anonymous response is preferable, so no one will be subjected to monitoring and attack on his asset. The main issue is the genuineness of every respondent, no proof of fund. Asides, at this time smart traders are like to have their asset in stable coin than in bitcoin, which might be a worth of certain number of bitcoin.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New LUNA vs. Classic LUNA on: May 19, 2022, 11:13:54 AM
If I were you guys I will stay away from this hopeless project that is already doomed because of their nonsense development that has nothing to do with their roadmap. Sudden adjustment like this won't work and always there some people who suffer from this failure. They better not tolerate such acts because they just giving their investors some false hope which doesn't really make sense when they failed this new proposal once again.
To make any decision with a crashed project you consider the team's attitude to the crash and the response of the whales to keep holding. Whales have all moved and the developers name is getting worse in the media. Forget all the fundamentals to get it back, the chances are small like you said. selling off 80k bitcoin has a strong effect on the whole market.

458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the best investment for the next halving? on: May 11, 2022, 09:13:40 PM
Sorry for being harsh here, but why invest if you're not willing to do the work and make the decisions yourself?

But just to answer your question, the next halving is like 2 years away. A huge majority of coins and tokens in the cryptocurrency space have the tendency to be fleeting — where 'good' coins/tokens to buy today will be totally different in just a few months; hence why it's really difficult to say what the good buys will be outside BTC. 2 years is like 20 years in the cryptocurrency space.
I think he is trying to say you should start the investment in yourself. Read as much as u can in this forum, get on twitter and follow as much influencers and group on it. Learn the idea of trading on both decentralized and centralized exchange. Learn how to open wallet and keep it safe. As u start getting fund buy reliable stable coin not the algorithm stable coin in your wallet. You can decide when to start buying the market in less than 2 years. Before then you might to know about investment in crowdsale etc
459  Economy / Economics / Re: Based on instutional data we see big bull run and economic boom on: May 10, 2022, 08:22:54 PM
Once markets ready for bull run then im sure all the wars and negative things will be put on pause for sure.

Its all prediction just based on instution data learn how to read that and you will know the whole economy and markets bulls and bears.

Are you saying the market bull run will stop the war? If you meant economic stability then it might be a partial truth still. The economy can be stable and bitcoin still suffer even more dip. Bitcoin is still a threat to financial institutions and as such it's bullish trend is more dependent on the investors than the economy. Fundamental news this days are misleading and many FUD hype are sponsored. Research this days are better done technically than running with every win of news
It wont stop the war but will benefit from it. Everyone is looking for a safe place to hide their money in war and I think digital coin is the safest while you think about running elsewhere safe.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about algorithmic stablecoin staking? on: May 10, 2022, 08:18:29 PM
After the pump of Waves to over 50$ a few weeks ago i sold my waves (i did only have a few sadly) and now i have some USDN sitting in my waves wallet that are doing nothing. My first plan was to trade those USDN into USDC or USDT and then put those into the algorithmic trading pools of the waves wallet, but i could not do that because Waves was crashing very hard after that pump and even took USDN with it to a price of around 0,70 USD which was pretty crazy as USDN should be a stable coin after all. This pretty much has made me lose some trust into the whole waves platform and i am not so sure anymore if i should really invest my stablecoins there.
Is sad that it had gone this way but that is how it looks in the bear that prevent many from investing early until the bull market is ripe because of the fear. Take your loss irrespective and hold, the market might have a small bounce soon but thats how we get the lower high until we get to the dip of the bear. Another way is to never sell and hold into the next bull but it might take a longer time than you envisaged.
