As many of you already know we have some serious problems with cryptopia deposits/withdraw, we are working with their team to resolve this issue asap and of course we will keep you posted about the current cryptopia.co.nz exchange situation.
Biggest Cryptopia issue is support tickets load and here are 2 main reason which lead to this situation:
-one part of the issue has to do with the fact that Bismuth uses entirely different protocols than the clones, and a few things have to be adjusted to alleviate pressure on the support team, like a transaction id. We are working hard on resolve this issue by implementing RPC (Remote Procedure Call) read more about RPC here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_procedure_call
-the other half of the support issues arise from the users not reading and sending deposits to cryptopia without a message or with a fantasy one. The block explorer will evolve to ease transaction and message checking.
For that matter *Pls add your message, when you transfer coins to cryptopia*, it is shown to you above your bismuth address when you go through the deposit-assistant on cryptopia exchange.

I've done a lot of reading about this coin and it seems like it might be something worth investing in. Im surprised the price is still where it's at. I like the rather low supply and the tech behind the coin. Just wondering why it hasn't shot up by now? Is there not any marketing for the coin or? I also read somewhere that transactions are super slow is this true?
The price is still low because: - the masternode reward is very low, this will be fixed with the new wallet update; - the pos system is not working properly; - the mining reward is only 1 insn per block so the miners are not very happy, maybe this will change with the new release; - and indeed the marketing is at a low level right now, but just because the reasons mentioned early. There will be a marketing campaign as soon as all things are in place and will work properly. The tx are indeed slow, because the lack of miners. I think there is no point to rise mining reward, we just need to work to get insanecoin to have more value then, it dosent matter how much insn are reward couse they cost more. Rising reward could deplete insane supply faster. Other way is to remove mining reward as minting new coins but share reward from darksend and insta TX for miner, but this needs actually more users who make TXes daily to be woth. You have a point here. That's why I said maybe, maybe a 2-3 INSN reward per block won't hurt the project, amount which can be shared between miners and mn holders. |

Guys, Ive seen that I have resolved a block and that I am awarded 1000 coins, but I still do not have them in my wallet? Do I have to wait for these coins a bit longer for them to have them in my wallet locally?
You will get the coins later, if I'm not wrong the payments are sent every 3h, but note that when you resolve a block you won't get all the coins, just 40% of the block reward which atm is 400 coins. |

We don't need to burn any coins, as the total supply is low enough, with a lower supply you will have a very unstable price as the price can go up and down a lot when someone will sell or buy let's say, 100K coins. The token at the moment has not even a purpose yet, that should be the priority. Indeed, this should be the priority right now, but I suggest to not lower the supply even in the distant future. Look at GVT for example, 3.7M supply and it's bouncing between 15 abd 50$ since the begining of the year, XZC is bouncing between 5 and 140$, ZEN from 15 to 60$, etc..My 2 cents! |

yes! bisq! -> https://bisq.network/bisq supports e.g. LTC as base currency. Then we all can trade LTC <-> xcn on there as we like. Or, of course, BTC but as bisq is a decentralized exchange, every trade is an actual transaction between wallets and therefore costs tx fees. I recommend not using BTC therefore, as their fees are just too high. I think bisq currently supports BTC, LTC, Dash. I don't like Dash on there as they are our direct competition (technologically inferiour though). We should all just move there and create some volume on that exchange. That could give us a handle to upgrade XCN as a base currency in there in the future. I think XCN would be perfectly suited as a base currency in bisq because of our scalability. If bisq users could be convinced to use XCN as base, then we'd suddenly have a real use case next to speculation. fyi: The concept of a base currency on bisq means that one can trade FIAT <-> base curreny on there. The normal trading goes FIAT <-> base <-> ALT or ALT1 <-> base <-> ALT2 I'm not able to find any trading XCN pair on bisq.network, can you provide a direct link to the market?
