441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: iBelink DM11G - 10800mhs x11 miner - Batch 1 Update thread on: July 19, 2017, 03:15:09 AM
update:

Expect miners EARLY AUGUST

UPGRADE KITS COMING SOON

I am with you but i want to know why there is no official announcement on ibelink.co

I am still with iBelink

The shipping date is on their website, upgrade kits are for owners of the ibelink product, they have offered the same upgrade service in the past - dualminer.com  http://www.dualminer.com/iBeLink-DM384M-Dash-and-X11-Miner_p_36.html

" The DM384M system we have delivered is a well thought out design. We will continue to use this structure for our next generation X11 ASIC miner. Existing customers will be able to perform a DIY (Do-it-Yourself) upgrade to bring your current DM384M miner to a state of the art X11 ASIC miner. We will ship you two types of PCB boards (8 hashing boards and 1 panel board per blade) to replace current ones. You will be able to reuse the PSU, cooling fans, heatsinks, miner casing and even the Raspberry Pi to reduce your mining costs. One advantage of using multiple hashing boards instead of one big board is that it allows you to replace possible faulty hashing boards with minimum extra cost. We will continue to improve the stability and usability of our software by adding more functions and features. If you have any suggestions, please let us know."

They've offered upgrade kits before, and im sure this time they will to satisfy the customer in time for the d3 release.

UPGRADE KITS COMING SOON

This is whats good about ibelinks pc case design, its upgradable, try upgrading a tube miner and keeping warranty,  good luck with that, upgrade kits might help make up the difference between these and the d3s in price and performance. Ibelink isnt out of this race yet..

I would like to thank all who participated in the last few months.

you are pioneers, you are risk takers, you will be rewarded!

stay tuned for an announcement within 24 hours from now

maybe the announcement is "Shipment date will be by August 10, 2017" . Maybe thats just for the website orders.. Bitmain havent even got a picture of their built d3 on their site, so hopefully they take longer to ship the september batch.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: July 19, 2017, 01:18:04 AM
The price for iBeLink was $6k (so if you add PSU & shipping of bitmain) its 50% difference and 36% more efficiency.

I was considering

What about quality?
--> bitmain's D3 have one FAN vs iBeLink have 5 FANS (which means more cooling?)
--> bitmain is using compact casing vs iBeLink using server type chasis (which means more airflow?)

What about price difference?
--> bitmain price is $2700 and if you add PSU & shipping its going to be somewhere around $3100 to $3200 vs iBeLink price including shipping $6300 so it means 50% pricing difference

What about power consumption?
--> bitmain 0.087 watt vs iBeLink 0.075 watt per megahash

What about delivery time?
--> bitmain announced delivery starting from 15th September (means after 2 month) vs iBeLink promised delivery within 1 month

What about capacity?
--> bitmain claims 15000 MHs vs iBeLink 10800 MHs (so a difference of nearly 36%+ hash rate)

What about reliability?
--> In forums i read people claim that bitmain's equipment are not high in quality and unless you put them in datacenter or live in a very cold region they cause maintenance issues

CONCLUSION:

On Power consumption & capacity:
not a big difference, but winner is a winner, iBeLink Wins Smiley

On delivery time:
One way that iBeLink can satisfy their customer on price difference is to start shipping out earlier so they will be happy.

On quality:
Everyone have their own view but as per my research the miners who bought bitmain bitcon miners are not so much satisfied with quality, with iBeLink having 4 extra fans and more airflow by using larger chasis vs bitmains small chasis i think iBeLink is going to be a smooth ride.

On Price:
i get my iBeLink on 15th August as my order was confirmed on 15th July , i will have 1 month and with that i am expected to make $4000 , so it will put me equivalent in terms of pricing as my higher price difference would be recovered. (so i have no regrets for placing iBeLink order)

My Vote:
I support iBeLink because they were one producing equipment when bitmain was sleeping and we as crypto-people should not allow any giant to eat innovative players like iBeLink. Even look at bitcoin war going on , main culprit is this Bitmain who threatened with hardfork because they are largest supplier of bitcoin equipment & own largest pool

We should give companies like iBeLink chance and confident they will not shake our trust and ultimately prove to be winner.

My request to iBeLink is that they should deliver faster delivery to help their customers avoid price massacre initiated by bitmain.

Thanks.

Pretty sure those iBeLink are almost a month late from the first group buy.  It was supposed to be completed and delivered by end of June.  Those that just invested their funds into GPU mining and expansion have been making money instead of letting it sit and do nothing.  Then consider the difficulty spike when all of these get to market, the ROI calculators you see now need not apply.

Also, not sure how it is costing 400 dollars for a PSU for this.  Server PSUs are easy to source and much cheaper than $400.

First batch for 1st ibelink groupbuy was 31st july, not june.

Asicminermarket havent got a good reputation buyers beware..
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming ICO Speculation on: July 14, 2017, 06:09:19 AM
bad time for ico 's , firstly anything u buy will prob just be cheaper on exchanges as the price of eth corrects lower, so it would be cheaper to just buy eth when its lower and then buy after the ico token dumps on exchanges. insure x was hacked so that will turn off more people from ico 's and as more and more tokens fail to deliver profits on exchanges when their released less people will invest in more future ico 's if they intend to just quick flip em for profit.

Dent looks like a good idea but it doesn't have much coverage on https://www.smithandcrown.com/icos/ or https://www.coinschedule.com/ which is concerning, pillar has potential if they can pull it off.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high will Litecoin go? on: July 14, 2017, 05:56:00 AM
The ltc mining difficulty should skyrocket early august as one of the first sold out l3+ preorders from bitmain are shipped, in the past difficulty increases can cause prices to go up with other alts.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: July 14, 2017, 05:43:06 AM
Once eth goes to pos there will be no need for miners to sell it to cover their power bills. Less selling, more buying.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PandaMiner Price Adjustment! on: July 14, 2017, 05:16:30 AM
if they were <$1200 each they'd sell out.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL asic mine 2000MH/s on: July 14, 2017, 04:46:39 AM
If they can sell these for 1100$ then they can compete with ibelink in price per hash.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS Mining-P106 Cards - Group Buy #1 on: July 10, 2017, 11:00:59 PM

452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New X11 asic hardware - PinIdea & Baikal both - just not for you! on: July 10, 2017, 09:50:56 AM
Its a premium price alibaba is usually inflated pinidea are generally cheaper cause their chips arent as efficient
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - 5 STAR PRODUCT 1 STAR SERVICE - BAD BUSINESS PRACTISE on: July 09, 2017, 09:07:00 AM
At this point I would be very careful about spending any sizeable chunk on an x11 miner.  Baikal has a new miner, PinIdea has a new miner, and iBelink supposedly has a monster right around the corner.  There is almost no info on how many of each of these miners there are or how quickly new ones will be coming out.  Hashrate could go really high very soon.

pinidea has new miner? what model?

Pinidea drx 1200mh

Very soon the telegram bot wont be free, plenty of future buying in the future, im getting it cheap now before that happens..

CryptoPing will increase in adoption, tools like this are essential for crypto trading, it would be foolish to sell this cheap, hold and u will be awarded.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Get out of ethereum while you still can! on: June 22, 2017, 10:31:45 AM
There will be corrections to eth but as long as the ico craze continues any major dips will be bought into. Also if these apps built on its blockchain are successful then eth will always be needed at a greater rate so demand will only grow in this case. Eventually if demand improves exchanges might make more altcoin trading pairs with ether allowing it to be used more like bitcoin. Also once gpu production catches up with demand the difficulty will be so high that noone will want to sell it cheap and that will also keep its price high. I think theres a better chance of eth price doubling in next 12 months then btc. But yes before that happens there will be corrections. The only problem with ether is its unlimited supply and as far as scams go theres been plenty of those with btc as well.
