441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: December 18, 2019, 03:30:00 PM
Today bitcoin loses its 7k glory, how are you guys holding up? What do you think will be the next stop? Do you think this drop in value is another strength to better bull run?
Still holding strong all of my Bitcoin. I'm not sure what will be the next stop but I don't mind if Bitcoin goes even lower. For people like me that plan to hold BTC for a long time, times like this are excellent opportunity to acquire more Bitcoin.

I'm not sure about bull run either but looking from past data about halving, I have expectation that this halving would fuel another bull run in 2021 or 2022.
We have the same thought. I still keep holding up my coins especially Bitcoin and waiting until the uptrend comes. For me, it doesn't matter if Bitcoins make a more dip since I do not enough fund to purchase but what matters to me is the pump, what price it will have and the amount of profit I would get. I also prepare myself for long time HODL so waiting is not a problem for me. Besides, halving is getting closer and I think there will be a price difference after this.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: December 18, 2019, 02:45:27 PM
Hello traders!

I would like to know how you started trading? Any interesting articles,
videos or guides that you found helpful before you started?
Can you share your opinions and experiences please?

Personally, I discover crypto trading because of some token I got from bounty campaigns. I learn to trade because of my friends he taught me some things how to trade and through help of some articles online especially in this forum I learned a lot from it. As additional you could also look some tutorial in youtube but I highly recommend to acquire in this forum since it is way more interactive.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: December 18, 2019, 01:57:45 PM
Do you tell others about your big winnings?
Or do you wait for the time to pass and then talk?
Are you bragging about the big winnings or do you want to make a point not to waste your time and money in the casino, but get it already?
Of course it is already known that people like to brag, but is it wise to talk?
In my opinion it is by no means a good idea to talk about big gains, because it can only cause bad things, here are some:
1.Of course, you can be the target of a robbery first.
2. As much as you spend your time and money in the casino, the environment will say that you are addicted and that the gain is nothing.
3. We bring the danger of ourselves and our loved ones, this is in the first place, but these come to the detriment of your safety.
4. It is not good if you plan to have a job and to thrive in it, and your subordinate knows what you are doing.

These are just some of the examples, to hear your opinions, supplement me if I am wrong.
I think it still depends on the people where you are going to tell like for example if you are going to tell it to your friends or family then more likely there will no problem in that but if you are going to publicize it then it is different. I am the type of person who likes to shares my good moments or experiences but just like what I have mentioned publicizing it would be out of option.
444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to selling the BTC Now on: December 18, 2019, 01:24:36 PM
Good Morning! Bitcoiners.
Please sell the BTC now ASAP.
The price of bitcoin will fall down more and more.
It will be hard to defend $7000.
I think now is good time to get your original money from cryptocurrency.
Regards  Shocked
It seems you are new in this crypto industry. I have been in this industry not for a long time but I am not a newbie either, anyway, I have seen a lot of the same cases before. Bitcoin encounters a lot of dips and yet it manages to come back and sometimes become even more. It is a really bad idea to sell your Bitcoin now, in fact, you should buy now because the halving in getting closer we don't know what will happen so it is better to be prepared.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we buy new token or coin? on: December 17, 2019, 03:47:59 PM
The primary reason why crypto-currency enthusiast/investors is buying some new coins/tokens in the market is just because they are hoping that in one day it might be experience a price boost and earn a profit out of it. In short everyone is just speculating in the new coins/tokens that's why they bought it for the first place. while in trading its different since you are not holding those coins/tokens for a long period of time because you are just waiting your target price and then you can sell it at any moment.
Exactly. Simply because they want to take the risk that someday this new coin or token they bought will be successful as Bitcoin, Ethereum etc become. Personally, I tried it before, I used to buy a coin that would I think will give me a huge profit and this really became trend way back 2017 let say some of the coins manage to make a name. However, as the bearish market arrives it's been hard for other coins to pull through that is why I leave it for a moment and prioritized the top-ranked coins since it has a high chance of getting a return.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safety first before trading on: December 17, 2019, 03:17:33 PM
There's a lot of topics, news, trading and more that related with scam or hack still i think if your knowledgeable about where you risk then you will not experience like that so i recommend to study or search before doing trading here in crypto world then there's a lot of ways to avoid that like save or hold your btc, alts, tokens in your trusted wallets,Moreover read the news below because you can learn a lot by this like how to trade safely

https://cointelegraph.com/news/4-things-you-must-know-before-trading-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/amp

It is required to have enough knowledge first before engaging in any other activity related to crypto otherwise you will get scam by the people who have bad intent. There's a lot of articles that could help you to learn to trade besides you are in the forum that would provide the fundamentals you must know along with some tips. Making an entrance into a thing you don't familiarize with is just the same with gambling knowing that you have no chance of winning.
447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: December 17, 2019, 01:56:56 PM
Hi everyone, I'm new to the platform and a new crypto-currency lover and passionate about blockchain technology. I have lots of ideas and questions about crypto currencies and my first one, could Bitcoin see its value increase as much as in 2017? Thank you  Tongue
There's a chance but it is still vague if the value of Bitcoin will increase just like it had way back in 2017. We are in a downtrend for now but as the next halving is done we might see a difference I do believe that Bitcoin will be more than that. Massive adoption will be a good factor in order to achieve this amount of price. Just have patience and believe on it I am pretty sure that as a bull market comes there's a chance for bitcoin to grow more than what 2017 does have.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 17, 2019, 11:57:27 AM
Bitcoin is a total worthless coin that is controlled by chinese miners that hate you.

Bitcoin cant do anything that ethereum can do much better.

Bitcoin is worthless and only paid shills like tone vays or antonopulus are promoting this crap coin so you can lose your money on it.

Proove me wrong before delete my thread- and what happened to free speech bitcointalk moderators?  are you paid to be chinese?

Bitcoin isnt a coin anymore for the people but it became a chinese company

stop bitcoin now
Bitcoin is a worthless coin? Don't make me laugh, because we all here know that bitcoin is the best coin ever and it is the mainstream of the cryptocurrency so if bitcoin is really a worthless or trash coin then maybe no investors will try to invest on it and how about those people who are investing to bitcoin that are not chinese? Then they are already same as the chinese citizen? because you said that bitcoin right now is a Chinese company. Not just because Chinese people become open to the world of cryptocurrency doesn't means that it is already control by the Chinese people.
Exactly, we can't deny the fact that China has a big impact on the movement of the market especially on crypto but this doesn't necessarily mean that they have the full control on cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin. Yeah, they had the largest Bitcoin mining across the world but just like what I say Bitcoin is decentralized and cannot be controlled by, anyone. Chinese would never create their own digital currency if they had control over Bitcoin. Probably OP had experienced something worse here in industry that is why he had so much bad impression on it but we cannot blame him though we all have the same experience before but because of the trust we have we manage it through.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 15, 2019, 04:01:00 PM
The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

your thoughts
We cannot blame them actually, honestly sometimes I saw most of altcoins are bad but I do see some projects are good and worth to spend my time and effort. Probably altcoins and other projects cannot excel because of the bearish market perhaps we can see its potential as the bullish market comes.
450  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Bitcoin or not on: December 15, 2019, 03:20:52 PM
I realy want to buy Bitcoin i have 5000$ give good idea plz
There's a lot of exchanges where you can purchase Bitcoin and $5000 is quite enough to HOLD to have a huge return. Before you buy, it would be much better if you will buy at low price so that as the bullish market comes it would be a huge profit. As a matter of fact buying at this time could be a good option because Bitcoin does not have that high value besides, halving is near and this will have an impact of price of Bitcoin.
451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: December 14, 2019, 02:41:47 PM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?
Honestly, I don't have any job right now so I have my full time on managing my trade. But if I do have the job I won't use my computer to trade because I do believe that it is a bad habit beside we are being monitored. You could only use your computer to check the chart but it is a terrible idea to use it on trade. You could also do it on your break but not in working hours because if you get caught you could lose your job.
452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 14, 2019, 02:10:51 PM
trading has been a difficult process for novices and minor traders. it could be tempting most times if you dont understand the market movement and TA. you might loose patience and cancel out a trade you might regret later. i have cancel out many trades that later ended up in huge profits. i have also cancel some successfully. i just curious to know if there is any sure way to this trading were by you hold on a trade.
It was hard for me to understand at first but I suggest creating a strategy and plan that allows you to know when you'll exit with profit or with loss before executing the trade. It does not matter how long your trade takes. time is arbitrary and you don't control the market. set up a trade and wait for it to either hit your take profit or stop loss. sometimes the move you expect takes 10 minutes sometimes it takes 10 days or 10 weeks. If you don't have patience you are going to have a bad time.
As a trader, I personally wait for the market to fluctuates before I make a trade though it takes a lot of time I do still wait for it. In this kind of market, patience is the key because you will never know what and when the markets make a move. Having a strategy or plan upon your trade would be the best to do in this kind of work. Besides, as a trader you are ought to monitor the market or have a notification about the market.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 14, 2019, 12:52:33 PM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or you family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?
Isn't that obvious? of course, I would still choose my family over gambling I am not some sort of psycho that leaves my family over it. Besides, I am not a gambling addict, I've only played once an in a week and just only for entertainment not to earn a profit. Regarding the given situation, I would still choose my family rather than pursuing a career that could harm my family besides, I could pursue another career that would not be harmful to mental health and to my family.
454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: December 14, 2019, 12:01:18 PM
I never can do day trading. Because sometime i lose and only a few times get profit. Maybe i will trade like usually traders did. Like it is ok to hold until get profit although not aim daily profit. Actually to manage my mental is really hard. But will be harder if i aim and make target daily and push it. Maybe it is right when people said that each person have their own strategy in trading.
Just like you, I am not fond of daily trade simply because I do not have enough time to check the chart every time. I am more likely comparable to those HODLers. Daily trade as I know requires a huge bankroll unlike to long-term trading because in daily trade you lose a lot more than you win hence you must have enough back-up funds so you could not lose it all and earn it back. Long-term trading, on the other hand, it is not that tedious as daily trade have because all you need to do is to wait until your coin fluctuates and then sell.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: December 14, 2019, 11:15:28 AM
I am just wondering would it be possible in the future for the world to run solely on cryptocurrency? Considering that right now there are many people from different walks of life who are using cryptocurrencies in their day to day life. I think right now one of the main limiting factors for world-wide cryptocurrency usage is the world’s governments who make restrictions on cryptocurrency usage. Moreover, I also think another factor in limiting cryptocurrency usage is a lot of people’s lack of understanding of cryptocurrencies as it is a rather new technology to most people.

I think that we can solve most of these problems by educating people about cryptocurrencies and debunking what the mainstream media have done to slander cryptocurrencies.
I honestly think that if these issues a solved then we will probably have more people to use cryptocurrencies worldwide.

What would do you guys think, I’m just speaking (posting) my thoughts over here. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I’ just rather optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency usage in the future.

There's no doubt that sooner or later we will have a technological form of currency but having I don't think it will be crypto. As I knew cryptocurrencies are decentralized which only mean this cannot be controlled by anyone especially by the government and I think that is something that they won't let happen. Just, for example, China had released its own digital currency and it is not crypto and as far as I know, other countries will release their own digital currency this coming year. Therefore, it is impossible for cryptocurrencies to be such currency that will be used across the world.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: December 13, 2019, 03:51:11 PM
I think to lose a huge amount of money before we stop gambling is inappropriate. We should set a limit before we lose everything. Though we have a lot of funds which we can afford to lose, it's still important that we'll know when to stop. We have to discipline ourselves before we lose something. There's no guarantee that we could gain a good profit in trading all the time so we shouldn't take all the risks.
Exactly, don't wait until you hit the jackpot before you stop to gamble. We should know our limitations and have control over your emotions. We don't know exactly when we will hit the jackpot, there's a chance for you to lose all of our funds before making any winnings. There's a low probability of getting a profit in gambling since it is based on luck and even if you have it you there's no guarantee you will manage to hit the jackpot, too risky in short. Therefore, don't make use any amount of money just to stop, you could stop it without involving any money.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 13, 2019, 03:04:43 PM
Maybe it's asked before, still, it will help us a lot.

Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?
Because you are going after the big score?

Why?
Personally, before I used to play gambling because I want to earn profit in the easiest way as possible, however, it never turns out to what I expected that is why I stop using gambling as a source of income. I realize that whatever strategy I made just to win it all doesn't work, there are times it did work but as the gameplay goes on I run out of luck and lose it all. Hence, I learned from that mistake and use it to entertain my self and not expect to get any profit.
458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin going to $9200? on: December 13, 2019, 02:43:47 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) is ready to soar the short term – opinion

Check the article, guys!

https://coinstelegram.com/2019/12/10/bitcoin-btc-is-ready-to-soar-the-short-term-opinion/

I doubt it will before the end of the year, the best and logical the price could get is $7900, mine is a moderated forecast, I just want for Bitcoin to go to break the $7500 level, it's been weeks of struggling for the price to reach $7500, so many forecasts has been amiss, these year-end forecasts cast doubts on the accuracy and reliability of these so-called experts, it's really hard to predict the crypto market than other markets.

Maybe the price won't go up more than $7500 until the last days of 2019. Since the price was very hard to recover, seeing btc price at the resistance will encounter more hardships. Even though more predictions comes, it's not our assurance to depend on them. We must stand with our own analysis, and strive harder until great pumps initiates an outstanding phase.
Who knows, there's a chance for Bitcoin soar to $9000 or more. These are just speculation it would still depend upon you if you are going use it as your guide or not but it is better if you will make yours. Bitcoin halving is becoming closer and perhaps this could be another factor on Bitcoins fluctuation however don't rely on it too much since it is really vague to predict crypto's movement.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you Want from a secure wallet? on: December 13, 2019, 02:01:22 PM
In this time we have a lot of wallets and methods available for us, mostly of them are free and relatively secure

If you really believe in your project, go ahead, but don't do the same as we have, because the old ones will have advantage and who will trust in a new wallet with others most secure available

Try to find a "completely" secure method to hold our coins and transfer and prove that your method and wallet is the most safe and I'm sure you make a lot of success
Exactly. In my opinion, it would be tough for you to captive users due to the fact there's a lot of crypto wallets are now existing. Besides, it is hard to compete with old wallets since they already gained credibility hence people are more preferable to use those wallets yet tried and tested. But I think there's a chance for it to capture users by just simply having a unique features and have more firm security compared to old existing wallets.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 12, 2019, 03:41:28 PM
You probably heard the negative sides of gambling, some people who dont gamble has this bad impression towards it and we cant blame them for thinking that way because of the bad affect of gambling to a person who dont have control and let himself became addicted.

Now what did you realize or learn as a gambler (regardless if you became an addicted or not) that you can share to others?

As a former addicted gambler I realized that gambling is not the answer if you're desperate to grow your money and should not be our last resort in times like this because there's other way that can be the solution to our problem when it comes to money.
Precisely, we should not definitely rely on gambling when it comes on money because first of all it is based on luck and even if have enough luck there is still a low chance for you to hit the jackpot. I realize that I should only use this simply for entertainment. Moreover, we should also learn how to manage our emotions in order to prevent us to fall out into addiction which could destroy our life and the persons who surround us. Just don't earn profit in this kind of way but rather use it for fun, if you want profit then you could try another way which is more reliable.
