441  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after several years? on: August 31, 2018, 02:37:21 PM
what do you think will happen on bitcoin after several years?
i expect that bitcoin will a more bigger continuities and maybe that we can use bitcoin currency in public like buying in a supermarket cause we alk know that technology in our world was growing in every second that's only what I'm thinking
what about your thoughts?

As I observed when Bitcoin was started 2009, in every years came up,  the value of Bitcoin rising up little by little. Until last 2017 it reached almost 19K$ each Bitcoin. This is shows that after several years I do really agreed that Bitcoin will become more higher though this is just a thoughts or speculations of mine but it could be happen or not, because its value was very unpredictable anyway.

443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IS ETHERDELTA SAFE? on: July 25, 2018, 02:02:54 PM
A few months ago there was an issue with Etherdelta and some people lost their ETH and tokens.

Has the issue been fixed, is it safe now?

Etherdelta is not safe anymore in my opinion, and I don't know until there is still traders doing trade in that platform despite of what happened were it was hacked and attack by the hackers. Perhaps forkdelta is almost the same with the etherdelta at least Idex is much good than Fork and etherdelta.
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: July 25, 2018, 01:52:00 PM
In learning of crypto, there are still many people don't have enough knowledge and idea about it. Where most people got scam because of don't

have any knowledge. But try to check out the top coins in cryptocurrencies in the coinmarketcap then you should know the basic things about in

altcoins that are potential one.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin still a slave of Fiat? on: July 25, 2018, 01:30:41 PM
I don't know where did you get that world Slave, Because for me Bitcoin is a virtual currency were it can convert into fiat currency. Maybe for

now Bitcoin is always next into fiat but in terms of value fiat is no match with it, then in fiat there is no opportunity while in Bitcoin there is an

opportunity to everyone.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop dreaming about the perfect trade on: July 25, 2018, 01:23:24 PM
Many traders are obsessed with the perfect trade, perfect technical indicators. Trading is the field of non-existent "perfect" words. You can have a very detailed plan, but finally be surprised by a crazy market situation, like a cold water droplets in the face.

Instead of trying to reach the perfect trade, change yourself to the market. Average predicted of you about market, average with another trader ( why not? ). You should accept fewer profit but you will lose less. You should sell sooner and buy later than your prediction. follow the market, because the market will not follow you.

There's no such things perfect in this world whether in business or not. Now since that we are right now in trading industry this market is full of unpredictable things in terms of value, all was depend on your technical analysis in my understanding. If the volume market is rising I think its time for you to buy then hold,..
447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins and bitcoin - Where is the good investment now? on: July 25, 2018, 10:55:40 AM
Huh Huh Although bitcoin has been on the rise for the past few days, altcoins seem to have stalled. Between altcoins and bitcoin, what is a good medium term investment  Huh

So far bitcoin reached 8, 000$ which is good to those who bought bitcoin below 7, 000$ then most of the altcoin now also got dumped their price value too. And on the other good side of it even altcoins down their value it is still good to buy with the coins that are potential and now was on cheap value.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find good cryptos? on: July 25, 2018, 10:44:33 AM
Hi,

there are so many cryptos and I find it hard to identify the ones where I should have a closer look.
Obviously one can find cryptos e.g. by listening to shilling on Reddit. But I'm looking for more professional sources like YouTube channels, free/ paid Telegram/Discord groups and so on. What do you use?

there are many basis for us to find out if the crypto is good. The first thing you must do is check the top 20 in the coinmarketcap, then look at the

volume of the coins also the buy support and sell wall, I think with this you can have an idea about finding a good altcoins.
449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: July 25, 2018, 10:38:09 AM
Hello people!

Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?

Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?

I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect

Holding for me is much safest tings to do if we don't want to loose a huge amount of capital, but of course you cannot hold any coins if you didn't buy any of the altcoins in the exchange market. If any one are just patience for sure majority of the community will hold their coins whether it is Bitcoin, ethereum, or altcoins.

How to mine Callisto (CLO)

Callisto Network (CLO) is a project based on Ethereum protocol. It is a decentralized blockchain with its own cryptocurrency with ticker CLO. Following the airdrop at block number 5,500,000 every ETC holder received the same amount of CLO. Callisto Network was named after one of the 4 moons of Jupiter — Callisto. So if anybody ask when Callisto go to the moon, well its already on the moon :-)

Callisto aims to solve the security problem of the smart contracts. There were a lot of breaches across the years, such are the famous Ethereum DAO attack in 2016, the Parity attack in 2017 etc.

Another feature that makes Callisto interesting is Cold Staking. You can compare it with a savings account that returns interest — although a bank account returns are very low nowadays. With Callisto cold staking the funds will be locked for 1 month which will then return a percentage as reward. The reward is paid from the treasury pool, which is funded by mining. The cold staking feature will be covered in another article.

454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][CLO] Callisto Network on: July 11, 2018, 04:39:29 PM
Good evening . Does anyone have any predictions? What do you think, how many CLO will be in December? Will the income depend on this?

A block is formed roughly every 15 seconds and in each block contains 600 CLO.

There are 86400 seconds in a day so:

86400 / 15= 5760

5760*600= 3,456,000

So right now there are 3,456,000 CLO created each day. 20% of that goes to the treasury fund, 10% of that goes to the staking fund.

3,456,000 * 20% = 691,200

3,456,000 * 10% = 345,600

691,200 + 345,600= 1,036,800

2,419,200 Actual CLO are created and distributed to the miners daily besides the CLO reserved for the funding mechanism.

~150 days until December 2018....3,456,000 * 150 = 518,400,000 created until then

518,400,000+456,258,253(current supply) = 974,658,253

So nearly 1 Billion coins in mined by December, around that time they will enable the cold staking mechanism which IMO is the MOST important aspect of this project. It is what makes it unique and sets it apart from others.

Let's speculate that by that time, with a little hype and marketing the market cap of CLO gets to 120 million (~16x what it is now), that would put each CLO at .12c (12x what it is now) and that is if the price of bitcoin stays the same, if bitcoin goes up the price of each CLO could be even more.

Could be a lot of upside with this project.

I think this is a large number. The price will not be very high.

Ripple have more coin than clo, and now the price about 0.5 USD. Clo can reach 3 USD of have same market cap as xrp

Ripple essentially has unlimited supply unlike many other cryptos...highly unlikely that CLO could reach the same amount in market cap unless crypto literally explodes. CLO at least has a fixed supply.

If the point of the road map associated with the storage of files is justified, then the capitalization will exceed the value of this unfinished coin. I can argue with you.

I don't even understand what you are trying to say?  Roll Eyes

You trying to argue that CLO will get to a higher mkt cap than ripple?

Are you just a bot posting nonsense???

Can we make a bet? Are you ready to risk money to confirm your forecast? I'm ready. CLO bears the benefit of a real product, and XRP is useless shit.

Sigh  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes....I can't help but just shake my head at this forum anymore.

Can you contribute anything other than just 2-3 sentences of just irrelevant statements or pointless questions? I don't really care for XRP, never have but it's not useless. 17 billion dollars of mkt cap agrees with me it's not useless. Countless banking POC (proof of concepts) also agrees it's not useless.

Callisto is great ya, it will provide a platform with a novel staking mechanism that has not been seen before and provide a service to the crypto community that will also give it value (even though its not the first to market with smart contract auditing). By November when staking initializes, or when they get listed on big exchange, price could increase significantly.

It's better to be honest and transparent about what investing in Callisto offers rather than just outlandish shilling.

Anyone with any sense of these markets will know that no coin that is 4 months old and has a market cap of less than 10 million has any chance of EVER over taking the 3rd highest crypto-currency in market cap. If that is what you are proposing will happen than ya ill take your bet, go to augur right now and create a market that says Callisto will over take XRP in market cap and i will drain my entire portfolio on shares that it won't.

Definitely I am agreed with you, callisto project was a very a potential things for me, imagine while their campaign was running they had

already listed on some exchange like on stock.exchange if I am not mistaken, and their mining concepts was also a good things which it has a

big chance to be list on big exchange too

One of the unique features of #Callisto is Cold Staking. What's the difference between $CLO Cold Staking and Masternodes? Read on here.
(Note: Cold Staking will be implemented after the first hard fork in November 2018)

Cold staking:
Not necessary to run a node to engage in cold staking;
No minimum staking amount;
No hardware investment;
Stake and reward must be claimed;
Shorter staking periods;
Governed by simple smart contracts;
More inclusive;
Seamless.
Masternodes:
High minimum deposit amount;
Additional hardware investment requires a dedicated IP address;
Staker must configure and run a node;
Typically longer staking periods;
Rewards distributed to node wallet automatically;
Serve as a utility to the network that most users don’t understand;
More exclusive.

The rising awareness and adoption of the innovative Blockchain technology and associated tokens have opened up a whole new world of opportunities for the users, who can put their money into a range of crypto-assets and make profits by trading them or holding them for long enough before exchanging to other forms of currency.  The market opportunity just became even bigger with Callisto Network.

Callisto Network is a whole new breed of blockchain platform developed by one of the three core teams behind Ethereum Classic. Even though the network derives significant inputs from the Ethereum protocol, it incorporates some special features like cold staking and official smart contract security ecosystem. These features play a crucial role in offering better returns to both investors and dApps developers respectively.

What is Cold Staking?

Cold Staking is a protocol put in place by Callisto team to reward coin holders with interest for holding the coins for a specified period. The cold staker does not have any rights whatsoever over any processes that take place in the network, be it in confirmation of transaction or block generation. All they have to do is maintain a balance in a specific address and earn interest at regular intervals.

In order to become a cold staker on the Callisto Network, the user will have to click Start Stake in ClassicEtherWallet (Other wallet support will follow), which will, in turn, activate the cold staking contract. The coins will be in the account for a specific lock-in period, ~ a month, thereby enabling the staker to earn interest.

Once the lock-in period is over, the staker can claim the rewards or continue staking to earn more. The bonus is calculated according to the amount locked in the smart staking contract. This particular feature places everybody on the same level, giving them a chance to earn more reward by placing more CLOs in the contract. Similarly, stakers can also earn more by locking the tokens for an extended period.

Smart Contracts on Callisto Network

The other celebrated feature on Callisto Network, Smart contract security ecosystem enables free smart contract audits to ensure its integrity and security.  The option is available under the contract and the entire auditing process is conducted in a transparent manner. The official auditing department of Callisto Network employs full-time auditors, whose job is to audit every smart contract. In a conventional blockchain ecosystem, auditing is an expensive process that requires the developers to allocate a significant amount of finances for the exercise. But with Callisto Network, it is part of the standard ecosystem offering which ensures the reliability of all the applications built on the protocol. The auditors who are part of the Callisto Network are remunerated based on the number of security reviews conducted, and the funds for which is drawn from the platform’s treasury fund.

To initiate an audit, developers will have to register the smart contract for auditing and the auditor will take care of the whole process. Otherwise, without registering the contract for auditing, it will remain unaudited.

The unique features of Callisto Network help the platform to take the cryptocurrency revolution to the next level by creating a model that ensures profitability as well as security for all the users.

Callisto Offers Free Audits of Smart Contracts to Prevent a DAO Hack Repeat

Security of smart contracts built on the Ethereum blockchain have been a critical talking point for quite some time now. The DAO hack, for instance, ultimately resulted in losses of over $50 million. At the time, the hack left almost 14 percent of Ethereum in the hands of the attackers. To combat an encore of this, Callisto is building a smart contract platform which is more secure and reliable than any other blockchain platform.

It also has a review feature for developers to get their smart contracts verified before they go live on the network. The platform also allows Callisto coin holders to stake their digital tokens and earn interest (After Hardfork no 1, ETA November 2018).
