4401  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: May 31, 2021, 11:59:30 PM
I wouldnt abandon ship after we already sold such a large portion, a bit late unless you have far better uses then of course but arguably it was always a quick trade in that case and its hardly BTC fault that this particular month window or whatever didnt pan out for you.

I'd keep it simple here and we are either moving ready to get something like the 45k level again and challenge higher prices, test if we can resume the trend up previously seen which is still quite possible with ongoing weak dollar.   Or alternatively we break down with further weak hands and cash out occurring from those with short patience to wait any longer.    The greater the time we spend deciding the more I think we go back up to at least to confirm the sells were more then meme fallout and that the 200 day still rising is some ceiling or not.   We need to check the boundaries before any further greater negative but right now if we move it can still be downwards again to confirm that lower pricing is valid weak or strong.   Once confirmed in either direction it brings in more certainty from various speculators.
4402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] Gambling sites with internal exchange on: May 31, 2021, 11:55:37 PM
Great list, useful to have this flexibility hate the idea of losing chunks of cashout to fee spikes.    Does Freebitco qualify now as you can deposit BTC but withdraw their FUN token on the ETH blockchain to some exchanges.   Its only the one choice but I think its usually BTC fees that are mostly what people are trying to avoid being caught up in and once you are out on another exchange it can be switched to anything then.

I guess OP wanted to save on the fees because last week there was a fee spike.

Ideally the casino themselves will allow different coins to be withdrawn and deposited, they can take a fee for exchanging but thats far more convenient and helps avoids all the fee congestion nonsense blocking free movement.
I think the ideal is always going to be peer to peer especially where people want to cash out to FIAT and it complicates matters regarding all the national borders and differing rules on whether you are allow to freely exchange property or value.    Various forms of escrow might be the best development that occurs going forward ideally, rather then hoping the world of centralized processing and FIAT is going to mesh well with crypto.
4405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 31, 2021, 10:32:39 PM
There is no perfect solution, people should still carry around hand wipes I think is a good idea in a high hand contact activity like casino gambling.   Surely the casino themselves would encourage that also.    The whole deal with mask and vaccine and just general distance was to reduce the rapid transmissibility of this current strain.    At some point it wont be able to spread as there wont be enough people vulnerable, so masks wont especially matter as much then.
Seems like Asia had the right idea for years in realizing there is a risk in close confines and if ill its best to restrict your ability to spread with a use of mask much as people dislike it I think that will always be a smart thing to do.  Of course some people never have to step onto a busy bus but as far as the casino I think some mask use is still fair, anyone who has a cold should just to be polite at this point.
4406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: May 31, 2021, 10:15:02 PM
Its true advice but everyone wants to buy into a rise because its more exciting in an immediate way, buying now isnt wrong over a longer term duration but we dont know price goes up near term.  There are low expectations, I wouldnt say we are at the lowest price possible in terms of negative sentiment it can develop alot longer to the downside.    This chart is pretty good showing long term trend vs the variance on the smaller time frames.

So the shock of that global virus event was pretty good at knocking back all possible premium in the price till we hit a harsh long term price.  I wouldnt expect that to happen too often but I'd still say we are well in the realm of positive action as 200 day average shows simply by continuing to rise, still this sell off is quite a short term move.
4407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starting to recover on: May 31, 2021, 02:23:10 PM
Its regained some after putting in a higher low but a proper recovery is going to take action on daily bars I think and for that we'll have to wait till Tuesday when all markets are open again.

On this chart its regained 2 day average but also more significant is the weekly average is a serious challenge to downtrend and we can examine if will break the prior range at the bottom prices above 50 week average.
4408  Economy / Speculation / Re: why the price of Bitcoin dumping? on: May 31, 2021, 01:40:38 PM
Its not really dumping, it has developed some negative trend after outlasting the previous uptrend and losing momentum.  This is normal price action as various traders and parties in the market speculate then withdraw cash, real users require a longer term price that is very often lower.    The short take is there are multiple time frames, very fast movement and people who only sell or buy once a month maybe and when they see its down they sell but its very late selling and that could be where we are now.

4409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 30, 2021, 11:58:05 PM
Nip put on a very good performance from what I saw, mouse slightly more consistent but a good 3 maps bet paid off.   Hyenas doing a giant upset there 90 rank difference is not common but its partly from them being new to form, bodes well for them in future again they did good execution from what I saw.

I saw that Furia are now odds 12.5 to 1 to win which is fair I guess as they have to now win the next 3 maps having just lost the last 2 and vs a team previously number 1 in the world.   Not so easy but they have had a close game vs Liquid previously so anything can happen.   Next map and possibly the last in the series is not their pick and also not a map they win in a specially high percentage, so I've taken the 12.5x bet and used it to hedge into a bet on Liquid to win this next map for the bo5 series.

Liquid lose the first round great, helps odds but they are able to buy 2 AK47 anyway on 2nd round which is just bad rule set csgo now has imo - they die anyhow.
4410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on Medieval MMA? on: May 30, 2021, 11:53:52 PM
Nice idea but I think more fitting to a charity lotto then seriously contested betting in a formal way.   Problem is details are disputed and unclear which makes results in doubt and the betting wont accumulate like it needs to to succeed, same for anything.
4411  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high u rekon it'll go if Elon tweets right now that Tesla is accepting btc? on: May 30, 2021, 11:20:53 PM
Probably a case of Fool me once....    Its far harder to ramp at this point and quite pointless to run against momentum or any will to sell with hallow hype.   If Elon wants to do anything real related to crypto then great, love to hear it but most people are tired of empty nonsense and I hope he amounts to more then that if his normal business or thats alot of money wasted.
Its probably the case anyway that TSLA is peaked in meta anyhow.   They had front runner advantage and literally other companies must pay him for leading the charge, great he is the avant guarde and all credit to him for that but his time may have passed.      Does everyone here really doubt Toyota, Ford all the German brands and every other major car maker cant come up with good solutions for electric cars, laws are changing rapidly and the larger the firm the greater the lead time in their development process but I think the lag is declining in their development such that TSLA declines in its influence and premium.
4412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 30, 2021, 04:44:27 PM
Nip are a good prospect but I dont see excellent odds.  I'd agree with mouse based on the amount of times they have won in 2 maps which means they won their enemies map pick frequently.   Anyone who really likes Nip here should predict 2-1 result and thats near 4 to 1 odds.   I'm really not sure I will go for >2.5 maps just for fun

I dont see an upset potential for Big over Astralis, their map pick is Dust2 vs Astralis I wouldn't expect that though its Big's best map perhaps Im still not aware how they'd pull that off besides luck.
4413  Economy / Speculation / Re: I speculate Tesla has sold their coins on: May 30, 2021, 01:55:10 PM
You can be sure because a holding of this size is disclosable information.  TSLA is a listed company billions in size they follow fairly strict rules on open disclosure of what their actions and holdings are, its how you get all the articles on Warren Buffet doing this or that because every quarter he has an obligation to report openly large movements in publicly traded assets.   I get BTC is not a central register in that way but TSLA itself would be required to report such a large movement of cash and obviously its been used for this purpose.
Elon has got in trouble before for random tweets about his own stock, he isnt allowed to do that as it can easily move the share price.   He can post doge memes or whatever he likes as that asset is not directly under his control and that market is not regulated in USA, its still seen as some bad taste to have a large influence like that but public speech allows it I guess.
4414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 30, 2021, 12:01:58 PM
Entropiq vs Hyenas is a funny one, the lesser team is rank 100 but I recognise most of the names; they play a team at rank 15 which should not result in a win.   They are players from teams not in operation now so not likely to have as much experience working together but still they could be a good underdog bet.
I dont really recognize the rank 15 team, just havent seen them really.  So its a risky low bet for me, I'll go with 3 maps see what happens.   Odds for Hyena is as much as 6 to 1 so its a value thing.

4415  Economy / Speculation / Re: I speculate Tesla has sold their coins on: May 30, 2021, 10:57:02 AM
They didnt sell any, they can just loan out assets like a company will often allow their stock to be loaned.  If its available for loan it can be short sold and the difference is to the gain of the trader.   The company receives a fee for the use of the asset and it might also be Elon hedged his holding with a contract for difference himself.
It would be seen as very poor practise to buy then soon after sell on information already known beforehand.

I like the musical entries, especially this guitar one.   Very high quality entries overall and everybody trying something different to get attention.  My favorite picture overall would have to be the Kangaroo in the NASA spacesuit just because there is something in his eyes, he has seen things you people wouldn't believe perhaps it was the low grav on the moon with his big jump gave him a shock Tongue

For tokens to rise with BTC would be a double gain, as its in ratio that would be unusual.  Basically its outperformance which ETH itself is doing more or less for some time now, thats because ETH lost ground for years and it broke that down trend leading to its strong recovery.   FUN is a token based on ETH so is that a triple gain, quite a sequence for all 3 to gain together like a bullwhip that'd lead to dramatic gains but Im not sure it works like this simultaneously, its not likely got that pent up reversal phenomena happening or at least its harder to call because of less history.
4418  Economy / Speculation / Re: MELTDOWN - if you don't sell now, YOU WILL LOSE MOST OF YOUR FUNDS!!! on: May 29, 2021, 11:51:00 PM
Threads like this serve a vital purpose in the wider ecosystem of crypto sentiment.    Be happy about the wild fear flickering in the panicked minds of the crowd, its a indicator of its own and helpful in determining direction and lack of purpose or vice versa to buying when the hype gets too much.
Ideally we have a consistent stream of negative threads and then its time to realize this is bullish and selling is apparent and present making buying likely decent value.
4419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: May 29, 2021, 11:40:05 PM
Theres a good range or box to BTC pricing recently and we are towards the bottom of that range and likely to rise from there for the moment.   Its just challenging the 12hr and might go on towards challenging the 2 day moving average and so on.   What tends to happen until we break the upper and lower range we continue to repeat up and down and that would keep us above 30k.
See how this develops but for now its not breaking out up or down just yet:

we are still in accumulation according to Wyckoff.

Doesn't sound wrong to me, lower price is an opportunity maybe its boring or something but its going to feel way too late to buy any at 100k if/when that happens.   People getting a second chance to show some back bone, its up to them if they can acquire the reasoning to not just buy into hype for trades but use it year to year like many assets and gain in a long term way.
I dont really characterize lower prices as must be a negative thing, its usually necessary to enable higher prices later and I think moving too far from the 200 day average can disenfranchise a potential audience from involvement, the more people involved the better.

As far as wider price action, I think 50 week average is relevant.  Usually its the 200 day but since we got a variation in markets the 50 week might be a better mix, moving averages are indicators anyway and both are rising hence Im not negative longer term.
