4401  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WORLDWIDE]Bitmine - 950 GH/S 1500 USD - Next day delivery. on: June 08, 2014, 05:38:34 PM
Sorry for your delays MW.  Hope you get status on your large order soon.

That said it's why I elected to go through OgNasty for his escrow service. He placed the order on my behalf, provided tracking # to me, and withheld funds from Bit-tech until he confirmed that I'd receive the miner.  Just my 2 cents on that.

Unrelated to this, I was able to get the miner to be consistently at 900 GH/s using Finlof's tweak guide.  Played around with the frequencies until I settled on "925" for each of the 4 asics. I'll continue to tweak until I get to 950 GH/s.

4402  Economy / Services / Re: My ass in a G-String? on: June 08, 2014, 05:23:31 PM
Well the weekends almost over, I guess the dude's given up on this scheme.

OP, first Vaginal tightening cream then tiny pictures of unflattering asses... at least give the suckers something that'd make us want to part with our BTC.

I dunno maybe a cam show(no solo dude's though). Solo, b/g, solo with toys.  Or if you're going to post pics they better be good, and not the pancake ass(dude?) with the man hands.

Either way stop wasting our time here trying solicit BTC's with this rubbish.

I thought it was $349?

OP, it's the weekend now.  Are you a (wo)man of your word?  Where's the timestamped pic so we can shut this thread down once and for all?
4405  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 07, 2014, 04:17:40 AM
Haters gonna hate... Better late than never. Hopefully.

You're not fucking serious, are you?

5 delays +. No fucking hate, just pointing out the obvious.
4406  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WORLDWIDE]Bitmine - 950 GH/S 1500 USD - Next day delivery. on: June 06, 2014, 09:35:46 PM
Figured out all the technical quibbles(downloading the right image, re-imaging SD card, Advanced Ip scanner, setting pool info etc), now for the showoff:

Well packed, like a mummy's tomb.  Yellow tape everywhere!

Dusty fans!  Either extensive "burn in tests" or....

No display.  Black bare bones case, tons of screws everywhere.  White label says "0.204", but that was incorrect IP.

All internal!  Generic PSU, no brand name markings anywhere.  My guess 1100W or so.

Close up of the controller board and Raspberry Pi with 8 GB SD card which I had to re-image with Dragon image

All in all, it's hashing away at it's proposed rate on the Dragon interface:

Quote
Running Log:
(5s):1.013T (avg):1.013Th/s | A:390144 R:1024 HW:48 WU:16.4/m

Gotta tweak it though, tons of errors and can't quite get it up to the 950-1000 GH/s at the pool side probably because of all the errors.  High 800's so far, but that's before changing any frequency settings.

I'll look over Finlof's tweak guide suggestions to lower frequency through SSH this weekend perhaps.

For $1500 it's a decent buy.  Probably used a little bit, but I don't plan to run this thing forever.

$1750 is probably little much for this miner, but at the same time still cheaper than the Dragons and S2's.

Can't say anything bad about Bit-tech, they delivered within 4-6 business days, so I left them positive feedback escrowed through OgNasty.

Hope this helps anyone thinking about buying this miner.

Buy and HODL is sooooo boring.   Tongue
You could make it more thrilling if you hodl the coins in a shady online wallet which you check every
day from different internet cafes. Wink

I said it's boring, I didn't say I want to lose my stash!   Cool

ok thank you - so everybody is gay here? Or how should I understand this?

No, but we all smell BS a mile away.

Also, I'm sorry but there is no way that is your starting post, seeing as you are now at 665 posts and 665 activity and I am not 100% sure but I think activity only goes up 14 every 2 weeks.

He looks fine for me.
And activity can go up faster than 14 per 2 week.

It can't, only post count can go up fast.  Activity is fixed.  You can post 1 time or 10000 times, Activity will always only increase by 14.

SOOOOOO glad i went against my greedy instincts of wanting more for less and asked for a refund from minersource even though the idea of the mystery box compensation was over head. You would think Blackarrow was start hosting some fucking units for people who had the hosting option available to them. You know, to show good faith that the units actually wor.. OH that is right.

THEY DON'T EVEN FUCKING WORK YET.

No pride in china i guess? No work ethic? No honor?

If this was Japan, they'd harikari themselves if they'd miss the February deadline.
4411  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.414 BTC for 180GH/s on: June 06, 2014, 02:06:38 PM
Sad news with the S1's passing.   Sad

Will their be a new hope with the S3, Bitmain?  Give us a teaser!   Roll Eyes
4412  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 06, 2014, 02:02:00 PM
To be fair, the BE blade backplane was only for power and each blade had its own ethernet connection.

It sounds like only power supplies have been shipped at this point, is that right?

That's quite a lot of RPi to control, especially if you've got a farm of these. It should double the long-term value of the miner though since they could be ripped out and reused. Although it almost sounded from one of the updates that the RPi was required but would not be included. Just an SD card.. It would be nice to get a concise update that includes only the information that the majority of people are interested in: When can I expect to get my miner. What do I need to know to get it hashing.

I did mention ghetto for the BE backplane didn't I.

Shit, steal someone from the Bitmain team.  10 Rpi's is the sorriest engineering excuse in existence.  Take a page out of the S2 playbook for chrissake:

It's just embarrassing if they're actually trying, and not long conning us.
4413  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: June 06, 2014, 01:49:23 PM
And just like that.  The end of an asic era.

Antminer S1, end of life is official from Bitmain's mouth.

You've done kiddo.  My first and only miner that ROI'ed for me.

R.I.P.    Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry
4414  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 06, 2014, 01:38:41 PM
How do you mess up something as trivial as an LCD screen?

They couldn't hire someone from one of the trillion Coincraft A1 teams to do it for them?

Friggin' Lightning Asic or Dragon has them.  Bitmain not A1, but they have them on the S2.

Then you have to jerry rig the X-3's with 10 RaspPi's just to get it to work?  How hard is it to get a backplane working?  I still remember the Asicminer Block Erupter Backplane.  Shittiest, ghetto-ist backplane in existence, but you plug in 10 BE blades in the backplane, and you get 100 GH/s no problem.  Crappy as hell, but just works.  And not one phone call was made to Friedcat for even a clue....

Not sure whether to laugh or cry.  Maybe both.

It's either the most elaborate scam teasing release "next week" for the last month since April end, or a tale of not gross but disgusting incompetence.

I gotta applaud this unit.  They're coming close to BFL territory.  Cheers in order!   Cheesy
4415  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: RockMiner $79 | Gridseed | Bitmain U2 Group Buy on: June 06, 2014, 01:12:44 PM
Will minersource get the R-Box 1.2 TH/s(2 x 600 GH/s miners) when it's available also?

Supposedly it's 2 BTC right now in China.
4416  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 05, 2014, 10:55:11 PM
I'm not a fan of this. The market is moving on from preorders (or trying to), and this is a pre of a pre of a preorder. The chances of actually ending up with a mass marketed manufacturer on time are less than 20%.

This is exactly how I feel about this.

December is roughly half a year from now.  Most Mining equipment become obsolete in 3 months or less.

Having money tied up for 6 months or more for something that may or may not come to market, isn't a risk customers are willing to absorb anymore.  Too many BFLs, Hashfasts, VMCs, KNC's, Black Arrow's have all of us with shit taste in our mouths.
4417  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: June 05, 2014, 10:44:49 PM
Great post Zeta!  You really sold us on MAT.  Thank God you posted a pic of the internals and a CGminer reading....oh, you didn't?

Useless.
4418  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 05, 2014, 10:40:08 PM
Need clarification on 1 thing please Updown:

Your OP says: To continue in our program, you don't need to reapply. It's automatic.
[Min 50 posts apply in the month of MAY for JULY 5th pay day.

Did you mean 50 posts in the month of JUNE for JULY 5 pay day?  If yes, that means we are now going month to month.  You'll probably also want to say whether there are more spots available.  Thanks.

Yes, it appears Updown is going month to month now starting June 5 - July 5.

4419  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 05, 2014, 10:29:31 PM
So there's no weekly cap, just a monthly cap at 600 if I understand the OP.

That's fine for me.  I think I barely cracked 500 last month with Ritz and I really tried.
4420  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 05, 2014, 08:02:35 PM
You're right, ignoring the fact that SP is actually offering preorders and promises and the fact that their in stock hw is way overpriced. Even bitmain is overpriced now that they stopped lowering the price.

What do you consider overpriced (in terms of $/GH)?

Anything more than this:

http://shop.rockminer.com/goods.php?id=35

Are they shipping now?  Did I understand correctly, 2BTC for 1.2TH? (So basically around $1/gh) ?

Shipping starts June 25.

So these don't come with power supplies and are 2 600 GH/s boxes for 720 Watts or 1440 Watts altogether.

Really like 2.2 or 2.3 BTC or more with single PSU's or 2 PSU's.  Asicminer really blew chunks this generation efficiency wise.
