Also, how do I make polls here ?

4403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2.0, not l0coin on: August 18, 2011, 06:45:14 AM
it's not much of a lie though, iocoin, is simply a pump and dump.

And again, where's the proof? As there even were no premined coins, can you tell me who's the operator of that scheme?

The proof is in the lack of infrastructure.  There's no merchants that accept I0coins/Ixcoins, or any charitable organizations for that matter.  The only purpose of these coins are to exchange them for BTC.
4404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2.0, not l0coin on: August 18, 2011, 06:43:05 AM
Oh wow, encrypted wallet *jerk off hand jesture*

You have got to be kidding that is the one thing that should have been included from the very start that it is not there for an encryption based project is almost the entire reason I think this thing is a joke run by a bunch of clowns the "Oh we take security so seriously for the blockchain that is but leave it out for the most important part the wallet.dat so you can have drive by stealing of your stuff.". That is just so far beyond ridiculous it is not even funny and people are trusting thousands of dollars to it...

Oh sure, an encrypted wallet would be useful for BITCOIN.  But for these pump & dump currencies, there's absolutely no use hoarding them locally as they serve no other purpose than exchange fodder.  These things get mined and go straight to Bitparking.  What other use do these coins serve other than to exchange them for real BTC?
4405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2.0, not l0coin on: August 18, 2011, 06:25:32 AM
There's no single reason i0coin would be a scam. Elaborate. No, I don't have significant amount of i0coins myself.

It's a scam pump & dump just like Ixcoin.  You and joulsbeef are little scamcoin cheerleaders apparently.  But if you look at the value of either of the scamcoins, you can see they're TANKING, and I'm glad.  Little BS 5th column projects like this undermine the whole Bitcoin movement as it serves as nothing more than a distraction while adding no significant value to the infrastructure.  Oh wow, encrypted wallet *jerk off hand jesture*
4406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 17, 2011, 03:40:37 AM
There's 1500BTC on the main I0coin exchange according to the owner and 250,000 I0coins, a BTC share of 0.006 per I0coin, quite amazing for such an early time in it's life.

Are we looking at the same exchange?
4407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Thomas Nasakioto" of ixcoin is OldMiner... on: August 17, 2011, 03:39:46 AM
Nasakato = Atlas = Oldminer

=Satoshi?

Oldminer, this is where you chime in with "And if it weren't for you meddling kids..."

4.9 cents?

That's what Bitcoins will be worth, IF you're lucky. The government is going to ban your little scam currency into oblivion.  Get out while you still can.  Don't say I didn't warn you.
4409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IxCoin is a SCAM on: August 14, 2011, 07:50:17 AM
If there's one project on here I really can't see the point of it's devcoin, sounds like it's run by greedy control freaks who take themselves too seriously. If there is such tight control of where the coins go, why should they have value to anyone else? As for Ixcoin, I don't believe it's a scam so much as a token for speculative gambling, one of the major uses of bitcoins today and arguably the foundation of bitcoin valuations. Prices can go anywhere for no definite reason because they are supported almost exclusively by investor confidence. In practice the same seems to have been pretty much true of namecoin too but it never really seemed to piss anyone off in spite of some big time price rallies, go figure. Maybe it's just that 'Nasakioto' seems like a joke persona.

They're all scams.  Devcoin is probably the scamiest of them all since it seems they've waited and let others get their feet wet first and take most of the risk. So by the time Devcoin hits the scene, the path to prosperity is more or less formulaic.
4410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin (or IBcoin) on: August 14, 2011, 07:44:37 AM
IOCOIN does sound a lot less scammy than ixcoin.

Roll Eyes They're ALL scams and it's just a matter of time before the government cracks down on all you fools who think you can print your own money.  It serves you right trying to make money out of thin air.  I hope you lost big, scammer.
4411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IxCoin is a SCAM on: August 13, 2011, 06:05:38 PM
Ixcoin is almost a big a scam as Bitcoin.  At least people don't actually lose real money with Ixcoin.  It's just a matter of time before the governments of the world crack down on these sham "currencies".
4412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ixchange.bitparking.com lost coins? on: August 13, 2011, 05:17:23 PM
He's also on here by the same name.  Right now for every 1 BTC I mine, I could have otherwise mined 285'ish Ixcoins and converted them to 1.7 BTC.
4413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how and where to .. on: August 13, 2011, 03:10:42 PM
Your best bet is to mine Ixcoins right now.  In the time it takes you to mine 1 BTC, you can mine enough Ixcoins and convert them on http://ixchange.bitparking.com to make around 2.4 BTC.

HD 5850
1020MHz / 355MHz
BFI_INT VECTORS FASTLOOP=FALSE AGGRESSION=11 WORKSIZE=256 -k phatk
418 MH/s

HD 5870
1040MHz / 355MHz
BFI_INT VECTORS FASTLOOP=FALSE AGGRESSION=11 WORKSIZE=256 -k phatk
470-474 MH/s

Done with the Phatk 3% kernel mod, YMMV

4415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Highest 5870 Hashrate? on: August 13, 2011, 01:07:49 AM
I've had mine up to 495 MH/s for a couple hours, but it never ran stable at that rate.  It's fine at 470 MH/s though.
4416  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got Scammed Twice in 3 Days on: August 06, 2011, 11:35:05 PM
That's why I'll just stick with an established exchange for trading BTC.
4417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you're getting tired of BTC and feel like quitting? on: August 06, 2011, 10:00:07 PM
Old school miner here, recently came back to it now that mainstream media has picked up on it.  Damn, I remember I was able to mine a couple hundred of Bitcoins per day.  Now I can only do maybe .001 per day on the exact same setup lol.  Man, I can't believe how much Bitcoins have increased in value.  We're up to $7.50 per coin!  If I knew they would reach this level, I would have stuck with it for a lot longer than I did.
