4401  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Study: Everyone hates environmentalists and feminists on: September 08, 2015, 02:26:54 PM
Feminism goes hand in hand with Liberalism. They are both mental illnesses. Nothing that mace and tasers can't fix.

I agree, women anyway have too much power by default, biologically. Not to mention after they got voting power, divorce welfare (steal 50% of your wealth + monthly subsidy) , and they can falsly accuse people of rape and male people innocently go to prison.

Even in the middle ages when they were treated badly, they have an inherent power of charming and seducing all men. What else they want?

No male has power to control women, but a good looking women has power to control all men.

It is an abomination my friend.

LOL A feminist stands 0.0% chance of forwarding an agenda where I live.

Dont be so sure, they are very clever and organized, and they will break the spirit of man with their seducing one way or another unfortunately.
4402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposal to add Bitcoin symbol to Unicode on: September 08, 2015, 02:20:58 PM
If Unicode adds BTC, a small company could sell a keyboard with a BTC key and market it to Bitcoin users.  I'd pay .2BTC for one.

If Unicode adds BTC, I'll teach you how to print a sticker and to remap your keyboard's output so that you won't have to buy a new one for half that price Wink

I'm quite supportive of this.  I've worked quite a bit with various minority alphabets and I understand the value of getting symbols into Unicode.

Big ups to the OP!  Thanks Ken!

Can I change for example the right ALT or right CTRL button into the BTC button after it gets into unicode?

I have never used these buttons, and it would be nice. I have a black keyboard, and i can paint the button into a BTC symbol with white paint afterwards it gets revamped. Cheesy

4404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 08, 2015, 02:15:40 PM
Gambling is wrong if you Lose
If you win or lose Smiley

So by the same login bitcoin is bad if you win or lose.

Should all people abandon bitcoin that bought at 400$ or above and now price is 200$, just because they temporarly lost?

I think not. You cannot evaluate something on your personal experiences only, because luck is subjective, but many guys have become rich with gambling, so keep in mind that too.
4405  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. [NSFW] on: September 08, 2015, 02:12:53 PM

Interesting, very sexy and elegant girl. I like how they can be both so serious and playful at the same time.

I really need to move to asia fast.
4406  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people are using Bitcoin debit card? on: September 08, 2015, 02:11:20 PM
I`m not interested in bitcoin debit card yet, since there are not many merchants anyway, and i would need more trust in them to be able to use that.

Identity theft is a big issue nowaday, and i would not give my personal data to untrustable people.

So i`ll wait a few more years until this industry becomes more stable, and more merchants accept it, then I`ll look into it more. Definitely a bitcoin debit card would be perfect in the future.
4407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We could build a democracy out of bitcoin, here's how on: September 08, 2015, 02:07:06 PM
We don't want democracy. In democracies 10 sheeps vote is better than 9 professors. The right one is not always the most voted. I'm strongly against this proposition.

Indeed bitcoin should be run as a corporation.

It should be % ownership  based voting, just like in a corporation.

The fact that 100000 newbies come in, each with 10 satoshis gained from faucet payments, just to distort the voting mechanism is a bad idea.

Democracy is flawed, both in real life, as in here, we need a capitalist solution here, so it should be a % ownership based vote!

In the very early days of democracy, say in the 17th century, it was widely accepted that only the rich, those who paid tax, were allowed to participate in any kind of vote. Voting rights were progressively extended to every man, then every woman.

I`m not saying only the rich, but i`m saying proportional to the % they hold.

After all bitcoin is an investment, and those who hold the most / risk the most of their money in bitcoin, should be the ones that pull the strings.

Would you like your company that you own 100% be run by half-idiots who dont have a clue about company running just because of the sake of democracy?

Sorry but demoncracy never worked.
4408  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Migration crisis: Germany presses Europe into sharing refugees on: September 08, 2015, 02:03:02 PM
Damn look what is going on on Lesbos. Syrians and Afghans fighting with each other because Syrians receive preferential treatment heading to Athens via ferry. The citizens have lost their normal life.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQhjB5hAzsc

Why dont the europarlamentarians house the migrants in their own house?

I think the politicians need to volunteer to in the common cause. Let the migrants in in their mansions/palaces that they bought with bribe money and lets see how quick they will change their minds about this migration issue.
4409  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Why you cannot enter an arbitrary seed in Electrum on: September 08, 2015, 01:59:46 PM
You can 3D print a ring and stamp the words inside it, just an idea Cheesy

(screw my claim that I'm not writing again in here Cheesy)

You're probably joking, but I'm not so sure that "on body safekeeping" is necessarily worse than traditional safekeeping by hiding, or placing things into vaults.

Now I wonder if there's any research into this, how "on body" compares to "hiding" compares to "vaulting"...

Hiding is better than vaulting. If a thief breaks into your house he knows exactly where to look for valuables if he finds a vault.

If you carve the private key in a tree branch in your nearest forest, or put a piece of paper in a box, and bury it in your nearby forest, is a better solution.
4410  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: September 08, 2015, 01:57:52 PM
My experience with marketing is not that big but what I can tell is always search for demand.

You have to find a new niche every time, and the proper advertisers that target that. Its an information game, and whoever pants the seed first, reaps the rewards.

A very competitive business.
4411  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good websites to Invest My Bitcoins? on: September 08, 2015, 01:53:01 PM
I want to try to invest in a gambling site. I had three options. Just-dice, Bitdice or Moneypot? which one is better in your opinion?

There are more than just that 3, check the first post, and choose from those too.

I havent tried out those, but maybe later I will.  I am more interested now in Bitplutos's anonymous binary option platform, it seems pretty cool.

yeah I know there are many options above, I just wanted to take away from the site I have ever played.
binary so good but i cant play it Cheesy
gambling site is not investing guys,
if you know how the gambling site is based on luck, if you're not lucky, then you will lose your bitcoin deposit.

Its not gambling, you invest in the house. They give you a % share of what the house earns.

You can gamble too, but these are casinos specifically for investment purposes.

Its like a long term bond.
4412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not mainstream yet & my suggestions! on: September 08, 2015, 01:33:39 PM
I think the problem here is most people doesn't really care about what is really going on in the online world. It's like 70% of people who knows how to use the web doesn't even spend an hour in doing something productive. Most of them chooses to waste their time in social media that they don't even know what really is going on.

Another thing is bitcoins needs more investors in it. More advertising and a view on media. They might realize what they are missing if only they know the benefits.

Social media is a cancer to society, but its also a source of information or propaganda.

If bitcoin were to infiltrate more into social media groups, it could achieve a breakthrough success in marketing.

Target what they like: music, pop, friends, relationships, fun, etc.

Perhaps we also need some musicians, pop-stars endorsing bitcoin, it is business for them too, and it can help bitcoin adoption.

I added a point 7) to my suggestions, I forgot the social side!
4413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not mainstream yet & my suggestions! on: September 08, 2015, 01:28:08 PM
it is a good read OP, well done. i agree especially with number 3 "Lack of a good guide to newbies" i feel like there should be better step by step tutorial to help a newbie get started with bitcoin by showing these steps:
1. making a secure wallet
2. buying
3. spending
the rest is just additional information that anybody interested in bitcoin technological detail can search and find along the way.

additionally, in my opinion one of the biggest issues that bitcoin is facing is its highly volatile price. and this is the biggest reason that would turn a lot of new users away from using bitcoin.

Cool thanks for showing support.

So bitcoin has a volatile price? What do you suggest a central bank to "stabilize the price" (devalue it by printing counterfeit bitcoins)? Cheesy

But seriously, bitcoin's price is becoming less and less volatile, the bigger the market cap, the harder it is to manipulate.

I believe that in 3-4 years the volatility will shrink to 1/10th of what it is now, or it will have only positive volatility (price increase).

This manipulation is only due to some mining cartels having some fun and pump & dump groups, but it wont last forever.
4414  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: September 08, 2015, 01:25:01 PM
Regardless of speculation, I don't see fiat disappearing anytime soon. Only expand, remember there are bazillions of currencies in existance. Working in parallel. Each have it's niche, either beeing locally accepted or universally applicable (as in world's reserve)

They will both fight with eachother until all of them simultaneously reach their intrinsic value:  0.

Its called currency wars, and it will end in a few years, of that I have no doubt. Now it can end softly, or it can end the hard way.

But eventually hyperinflation will be inevitable. So then bitcoin will have a strong up-hand!

Its no doubt that intrisinc value will become zero.

But its a matter of when and how many more years it`ll take to be zero is the waiting process lol.

I personally dont think it`ll happen anytime soon though.

True, as the saying goes "The market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent". While some speculate that the day some of the major currencies will hit zero could be soon, that’s not my belief. I think we’re going to wait a few decades.

Yea but i`m not trading USD, so i dont really care about it. In fact I dont even have any USD anymore, sold the some I had months ago.

I hold some EUR, but i`ll sell that too soon if SHTF, especially as the QE in europe has been admitted by the IMF that it didnt had any results, so they will probably do more of it.

Japan does QE for 30 years, and they are near hyperinflation, if 1 domino falls they will all fall.

These currency wars are a race to the bottom, and they will all be worth toilet paper soon.
4415  Other / Politics & Society / Re: OLDEST KORAN ‘DESTABILISES’ ISLAMIC HISTORY, SCIENTISTS SAY IT PRE-DATES MOHAMED on: September 08, 2015, 01:13:20 PM
It's not like reason and evidence matters when you talk about religions. So i doubt it will "destabilize" anything.

There are plenty of scientific proofs & evidences that dismiss the bible yet still 90% of western people are christians.

... Still 90% won't react violently if scientists make fun of them, their holly book, their prophet or their belief. It is not so much about them believing if this particular koran is really older than mohamed, it is how believers, not christian believers that is, will react if non muslim scientists say it is so... Re read the thread again. Some are already afraid for the safety of those scientists.

I wonder why...

 Roll Eyes

Cultures change over time, there was a time when germans were barbarian savages doing cruel things (i`m talking about ancient times).

And now they are well organized and respected businessman and innovators.

Things change, some things need more time, some thing need less time.
4416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not mainstream yet & my suggestions! on: September 08, 2015, 01:03:50 PM
Well nice spirit! I appreciate this.

Anyway, i have a criticism about point 2 and 3.
Point 2: Earn bitcoin method is pretty much i think, sig campaign, faucet, do task, giveaway, PTC, wor for bitcoin, sell stuff for bitcoin. People just to lazy too hard work for earn bitcoin.
Point 3: I always make a direction which people can learn more about bitcoin, how it's work, how to use. And still... people too lazy to read, why? because they're not really interested about this technology, they just want free money, it's happens to me when i tried to teach my friend about bitcoin.

2) I just think those are not enough, I dont know what new can be invented, I leave that problem to entrepreneurs, but I just feel that these methods are far too few in order to achieve real demand here.

3) Sure most people just want to make money, thats my point at point 2), and since there are few methods, we need to improve on that. There is nothing wrong with people want to make money, it's just that this area is not totally explored yet, and there are more methods from where money can be made, that is not available today.

At present there's really no reason for a first worlder to make use of BTC.

There are however a few hundred million or more others who are also online and are capable of doing jobs that can be paid in BTC.

It gives them the possibility of developing their own online economies that'll eventually be fed back to people in Europe, the US and elsewhere. That's who it should be pitched to.

Well whatever the demographics are, marketers need to target those.

If 100 million 3rd world people start joinning bitcoin , then obviously the services market of bitcoin will have to adapt to that, etc.

Currently there are more 1st worlders using bitcoin (primary USA,Canada, UK, Netherlands) so we currently need to satisfy these people.
4417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not mainstream yet & my suggestions! on: September 08, 2015, 12:58:27 PM
I'm a teen and i can approve this  Wink
I need some extra money to buy some stuff but i don't see any good method to earn bitcoin that is friendly to teens
The only good method that i found so far is sig campaign, and it hasn't gave me much money Sad

Sure, I was a teen too, not too long ago, so I am totally familiar with the feeling.

It is the social phenomenon that teens are interested in so that is the target that marketing specialists need to explore.

Apart from books explaining how bitcoin works, how about actually build projects that fit within the mainstream usecase which introduces them to bitcoin, projects like Bitcoin Billionaire (gaming) or GetGems (instant messaging). Mainstream is much more familiar with these.

Books help but if you want to attract much more users (especially the youth who are much more into digital tech) introducing Bitcoin through attractive apps/games is the way to go and more effective.

Yes both of them are required, but on 1 hand you need a full encyclopedia or "user manual" from where newbie people can totally learn bitcoin.

And on the other hand you need practical applications where they can learn that throgh practice.

I just think the bitcoin wiki fails to deliver this, or it's not that well suited for total newbies.
4418  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Two-year-old Chilean boy abandoned by his drunk mother breastfed by pregnant dog on: September 08, 2015, 12:52:55 PM
O my God...again a poor baby was born from a retarded mom Sad
Yes, right, that mom showed that she is lower than animals. She must be punished for what she did and hope the baby will get a better life and future.

What do you expect from in a society where women are encouraged to be uncaring whores, unfit to manage a family and raise a baby.

Most of them (sluts) are just cock-driven alcoholics who either fail to raise a baby properly, OR absolve themselves of the responsibility with abortion.

There are exceptions of course, i know many good women, but the nr of exceptions starts to shrink Sad
4419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the next big thing? on: September 08, 2015, 12:49:43 PM
If one day bitcoin is gone I'm sure people would lose trust towards crypto currency as a whole. Besides at this point I really don't see an alternative coins will be worth taking over its place.

Thats bad because Litecoin can take over anytime, its almost a clone of bitcoin, so it would be easy to take over.

Plus by then we would have more experience with cryptocurrencies, so obviously any error that bitcoin had, would be corrected in the others.

Besides dont forget: NXT, NMC, PRC, GEMZ, BYTE,etc. those other altcoins will be worth something without BTC aswell. Not to mention ETHER, and RIPPLE.
