Hello , What do you think about ICO as a way of raising money in the next years? .Specially after all the scam projects we have seen before,like last time the team of a project called elementh( https://icobench.com/ico/elementh) claimed that they have to quit the project since they did not have enough resources eventhough they raised about 8M USD , and after ICO no single step forward the development of product has been achieved. They wanna return the money to investors as btc and eth after all this bull market (btc was about 10K usd ). Can you share a link of their telegram or ANN thread? I would like to verify your statement. I am interested to know because I am holding this token and were not able to sold it since the price is so cheap. |

This thread was posted in 2018 and whatever things cardano said to achieve, nothing has happened so far. Saying is far easier than doing.
What can yo expect? 2018 was a bad year for all coins, not only for cardano. However, it seems not possible that Cardano will beat ETH at the current standing, ETH is still at no. 2 while cardano has not improve in ranking, instead it went down and got replace by other coins. |

We need more because we have a big market. The adoption is not that big so we should get ready for a possible adoption, having a lot of coins will make crypto grow as that will bring good competition in the market. Does anyone think there is any future with it? I bought shift when it was below 2 dollars thinking it would do very good. But now price is down very low but not only that, trading volume is very low. I thought shift was going to be huge because of what others said here.
Trading volume is low, that's bad, however we cannot blame it's price now as we are in the bearish market. The effect is only normal of the price dump, if you look at the graph here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shift/#charts , you will see that the price has dump 10 times from it's ATH, that's the same thing that happens to most altcoins. |

Well, you cannot discount the largest crypto community of developers Ethereum has. Those nerds maybe up to something. I'll be more worried if those people started leaving or go their separate ways and break up the community.
I don't think they would do that, they are already the top 1 in the altcoin market and if they will improve more this coin it will benefit them more. Splitting will just make them unsuccessful, running a new project does not guarantee a success, so I still would trust this nerd to run the project and my future as well. |

There's only one mindset when you are addicted to the game, you will continue to gamble and just stick with your losing method. You'll never have a long term success if you are addicted as that would not enable you to make a good decision to win. I see you wrote this article in 2016, I think you have succeeded now with the 20k money you used to have. because in that year Crypto is growing rapidly, and maybe in 2017, you are very happy with your money. but for example, if I currently have 20k, I might use it to trade. I don't use it for long-term investments. because in my opinion the risk of trading today is smaller than making a long-term investment. in my opinion, it's better to earn a little more than to bear a huge risk.

If we want to increase the price of bitcoin we need to have massive adoption where the demand on the market will increase.
This is the only real solution so we will not see a pump and dump anymore. Institutional money is very important, they will lead a massive adoption and the way I'm seeing it, it seems like they are here but not too aggressive ye. There are many new updates in this year and I those kind update will uplift the bear market. Right now we can see little pump in the price of bitcoin. Yet, we can't still raise the price of bitcoin in the market.
We see great updates and in fact it raises BTC up, but unfortunately that was just temporary as whales cash out early. |

I got many news about Ripple or XRP coin where coinbase want to listed ripple on their market. Many bank have support and working with Ripple for the future and make ripple become their payment transaction.
Banking community is the key element for the tremendous growth of ripple. Regularly more and more banking community keeps on using the ripple platform. This has led ripple to be permanently listed as the banking coin as it is almost centralized and used on a banking systems. Therefore it should not Ripple vs Banks. Im impressed on how Denver Nuggets works this season. Currently sitting at the 2nd spot in the West and looks like they can maintain it until the end of the season.
LOL I thought I'm the only person that noticed that. At the very start of the season, they have been treated as not so good team. But they are showing that they are improved now and they shouldn't be treated easy by most of the big teams. They even surpassed those favored teams, they are doing well for this season. What they need to do is to maintain their place and if they can't come up beating Warriors at the top spot, they have a chance to make it to the finals. Underrated team, they are getting less attention maybe because superstar in other team like Lakers are more famous. Hope they will play better in playoffs as we all know, plays in playoff is kinda different. Look at Rockets they are good at regular season but outplayed in playoffs. They are currently tested now against the OKC thunder, game is very close but I think they'll win this one at home. We will see if how good they are if they will keep beating good teams, like teams in the playoff spot already. Being underrated team will make them even more inspired to prove that public that they are also here. |

The theory is;
If you want to gamble, see it more like you are paying the casino or gambling platform to have some fun (just like you do to go watch some movies in cinema), which if you are paying for anything, you are not meant to expect it back. The good thing however is that, you can actually end up being paid more for having that fun if you get lucky, but the chances of seeing that happen is pretty slim. In that light, if you cannot actually live with doing what I said above, then you should not be gambling at all.
This theory of yours doesn't seem realistic to me because gambling most time is for earning and not for fun as you propose. Allow me to say this; gambling for money is the only means you can earn from gambling else gambling for fun as the primary aim will never generate money from that fun. So, gamble as if you want money and the end result will surely be profitable. You cannot compare gambling and casino with movie watching etc. You pay for the movie and then enjoy it for some 2 hours. You do not enjoy by placing your money in gambling game and losing in a matter of seconds. Gambling is played with the aim of getting quick money and I don't think people only play it for Fun only. That's true, you don't loss watching movie because you won't watch it if you don't want it, that's called quality time spending. In gambling, you are risking your money to win, if you loss then I don't think you'll get the entertainment you are looking, unless you are a lot of money to waste. |

I have my own opinion on this matter, I believe that ripple and ether are not the coins on which you can earn a lot. For example, for me a much better coin is the ETA token (Ethera project), this project has several times more investment prospects than any other top project.
Etheera has no special value in the present and we will. This type of promotion is misleading users.  Probably a shit coin, I had to look at the coinmarketcap to find it's value but it's very cheap, $0.000070 USD with less than $500 daily volume. That's considered a shit coin, I don't know about this project but if the market will remain bullish it will not recover. Going back to the topic, it seems like XRP had a good increase today and I'm glad the market looks good again, including ETH. |

Just what others said, we have to give cryptocurrency a second chance, i think its like a break in this market where its just testing us and our patience if we are willing to wait for the right time for cryptocurrency to bloom just like what happen in December 2017, I think the smart thing to do now is to invest in different kinds of coins because the market is down now and you just have to wait for it to go up.
Anyone who believes that the history of 2017 may be repeated or even prices will be higher, should invest without a doubt, because the potential benefit may be indecently good True, we should not doubt the market, if we trust it, the current market is not bad because eventually we can buy more coins to fill our bags. Before the next bull run, we should ready ourselves, if we haven't sold during the last bull run then it's important to remain optimistic as eventually the right time will come, with proper patience and monitoring on the market, it will not make us panic even if the bear will stay longer. |

I woudn't be surprised in James Harden will win the MVP again this year. As you have said, he is putting a lot of works and his numbers are way about the rest.
I don't know though, but it looks like Houston hasn't forgot last year conference finals that's why when they face Golden State they're usually pump up and wanting to prove something. Good win for them.
Westbrook was so underrated this season, he is putting tripple double and his team is winning now. If I would choose the one to be an MVP, I might choose Westbrook because he is stepping up now and he has turn the OKC to be one of the best team in the League. |
