4401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 04, 2020, 01:15:01 AM
In real life happening knowledge is power, when it comes to gambling luck is power. With sports betting with knowledge we can have all the data associated with the particular game in our finger tips, but if there is no luck then all the information gathered were useless.

With sports betting, the knowledge help in increasing the winning chance selecting the right odds whereas the luck confirm the winning.
The clustering of luck with gambling is always been there but, there are certain measurements and situations that you won't be on it with 100% all the time. The information being disseminated could depend if you think it's reliable or it's already too much for you to take it because you're aware of it already or you know that it's not accurate and it won't help you. Determining those things can easily be figured out if you are too detailed with the information or knowledge that's being suggested to you.
4402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BBC Sports Personality 2020 on: September 04, 2020, 12:20:58 AM
Do you know the criteria for choosing the BBC Sports Personality 2020?

Why Manny Pacquiao not in the list? I would put my bet on him regardless of the odds if he is part of it, and I'm just curious, what do you think is the reason why Fury is the heavy favorites?
Just to add small info to Kemarit's answer. BBC is a British broadcasting media company. If there will be this kind of awarding managed by another company or organization and the entries could be from any nationality, we may see Manny Pacquiao included in it.
But for now, we should focus on the nominees specific to their own athletes.

Damn, my bad, honestly, I know BBC is popular, I can see it on my TV channels but I didn't know its (BBC) meaning, haha..

Sorry guys, please just disregard my comments and question.
No worries, mate. It's like the niche of the awarding is mainly focused to their natives.

Why is the favorite someone I do not even know haha,,, anyway I think we should look at a surprise winner this year but it is hard to see Lewis Hamilton not win it IMO,,, not because I personally think he is a great guy but because I actually believe they will select people based on performance still more than personality.
It is because they are all British and if you're not from that country, you're not familiar with them. From the past awarding, the criteria for the winner was based mostly on the people's vote and for the nominees, you're right there's certain criteria like what you have mentioned. I don't know if it's still the same for this year.
4403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin To Invest In 2020 And Why? on: September 03, 2020, 09:19:43 AM
Like for example, once I invest $100, I will get 100x.
Only scams will promise you to earn like this if you're aiming for this year.

Golden rule is don't expect 100x from a hype-driven tokens like HOTDOG who got dumped from $4k to $1 last night.
They are still thinking that investing in crypto is an overnight success. They are prone to those dumping if the mindset they'll bear in their minds is something like this. There is no such 100x with $100 or if there is, you'll be losing and be left by their trains as the devs for those coins will never tell you when they'll dump.
4404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The YFXXX DeFi keeps increasing? on: September 03, 2020, 08:20:35 AM
Even CZ is not a fan of this super high yield returns, it looks temping but it is super risky, a new created project offering something huge and will lockup your funds for several months. This trend is going crazy I have also seen this sushi listed on binance and this kimchi I saw it uniswap this is crazy, a food defi lol. People just wanna earn a quick buck by just copying another project. I agree it looks like a ponzi, e defi ponzi  I guess?  Cheesy But we can't deny the facts that there are decent finance coins for sure binance made a verification before listing it but still the risk is always there.
These foods defi hype is on and there are these project that I've seen and named, 'Hotdog' and 'Pizza'. And you know what? they've worned out and showed the true nature of what they really are, just look how much dumped happened to these coins. From $4,000 down to $1 within a few minutes, real quick.
DeFi meme coin Hotdog dumps 99.9% in hours after launch

4406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AlphaBay darknet moderator goes in prison on: September 03, 2020, 06:50:23 AM
there are other reason here why he got caught and that is what leakage sometimes bring.
I watched a docu how Ross was caught through the forum by a tax inspector. The authorities know what they are doing and who they are chasing, they have several resources such as indexes and search engines to track as long as there are similar information published on the web. I don't dive in those depths as I know the risk and I'm not involved with it and someone told me that if ever you're ordering there, it's either you're talking to a real guy, scammer or someone from the authorities.
4407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Recent profitable coins? on: September 02, 2020, 10:48:16 PM
You know about recent profitable coins?
I want to invest in crypto and want to know recent profitable coins? Please help and suggest me about recent best coins. Some days ago i just invest on TwT coins and it give me huge profits.and Btc also.. If have a good suggestion. You can suggest me. Adavance thanked   Smiley
TwT stands for Trust Wallet Token? I thought that you're just shilling this coin as there were too many newbies that asked the same question then they are giving tokens or altcoins which they have also invested and says that those coins were good. My kind advice to you, don't think first of the "huge profits". This will pull you to become greedy and could eventually lose more. Build a strong portfolio and study the market, you have made a good start because you bought bitcoin. Next, buy Ethereum or much better if you'll buy more bitcoin.
4408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a cryptocurrency software developer? on: September 02, 2020, 10:15:49 PM
On the developer side, you need to be knowledgeable with programming and not that ultra-fine. You need to have that experience which you were able to work for some projects before related to crypto development or not. Those experiences that can at least show case that you know the idea and have background in development. As I understand your questions, developers are only following the plan. There's more to being a developer and that involves those people with the plan to make their own cryptocurrency with goals of what they wanna do with what they are developing.
4409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YFI and YFII on: September 01, 2020, 05:46:12 PM
Can this coin be called a hype coin? because every YFI coin and so many other names with such high prices and continuous pumping is this a lot of interest with new investors? I am quite surprised by the new coins why this can happen even I am still in doubt if I have fear of the hype that occurs during the trend after it is thrown out, even though this is very little supply, I should still be suspicious of this coin.
I guess so. After being noticed and saw with a huge pump, there were other projects that were also named as YFI but with a twist and extended name. It's more of a hype and that's the power of these Defi's, they can be on the highest hype mode that we can ever imagine.
Be suspicious if you are about to invest in this coin because not everything that goes up, will remain at the top. Observe if the pricing of YFI is sustainable for the next weeks and months.
4410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: COINOMI a real good service. what do you think? on: September 01, 2020, 12:07:58 PM
Have not yet used coinomi wallet as it is not open source. Isn't it a multi crypto wallet? I personally don't preferro usesuch wallet, I use the official wallet of coin to hold them. It may be secure but imagine you have lost access to the wallet or someone else have access to your coinomi wallet. You will be left nothing.
Yes, it is a muti-coin wallet and there are too many supported altcoins on this wallet. Despite being a closed-source wallet, it's still popular and there are still users who keep on using them.
I guess being aware of the wallet we're using is very important. It's still best to use a wallet that you trust and you're aware of the security issues or how strong the security of that wallet is.
4411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POSITIVE PREDICTION AND SUITE SAYING BEGINS AGAIN on: August 31, 2020, 03:49:56 PM
Bitcoin rises above 11,600 dollars again for the first time in a long time. This has brought about series of predictions like we saw in 2017.
This is the time for us all to learn from the past experiences. We have to know when to swap to stable coins and when to swap back to bitcoin to avoid loss associated with drastic fall in price that may occur in the future.
$11,700 already but it isn't that a long time since we've met $11,600 or $11,700. Thanks for that reminder and we all have our target prices when to sell and when to buy.
This is a real game changer whichever your price target is. I'll go with the long term but aware of the potential pull backs that may happen eventually.
4412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: COINOMI a real good service. what do you think? on: August 31, 2020, 03:18:33 PM
I have used coinomi but it is a closed-source wallet. Digibyte has suggested wallets on their website. Basically, that should your first reference if you want to have no problems holding it.

4413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth About Bitcoin's Green New Deal. on: August 31, 2020, 02:33:37 PM
Why are eyes always look on the consumption of energy from the bitcoin miners? Are they the only one that's using that much energy? and why is it that it looks like a hot issue if bitcoin miners are consuming that much energy?
I don't understand these people as bitcoin miners are paying for what they are consuming and at the same time, helping to maintain bitcoin's network and confirm transactions. There are other certain industries that are also consuming too much energy.
4414  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Bitseno ⭐ Bringing Crash to Real Life (online & in-house gambling) ⭐ on: August 31, 2020, 12:20:23 PM
I understand that you've just purchased the link the other day. But most casinos or any enterprise who have bought their domains are getting into it as quick as possible because it's a medium to allow your visitors or potential customers in the future to know what's your status as you have already made an announcement which is okay. No worries then if you have already gave the sign to your developer, I'll just wait to your launching and what will be the result of it.

We are taking steps to mitigate the time it takes from now to the time of site deployment. As of the time of writing this, we are en route for the scheduled time frame until launch. We hope to see you around during launch, batang_bitcoin. Cool
Good luck Bitseno.
We're going to wait for the launching and just keep us updated whatever your steps are if you're okay posting it on this thread. Most of the people here are wanting to see new casinos joining the community and see how they start.
4415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My portfolio on: August 31, 2020, 09:08:02 AM
I have 60% bitcoin
10% Link
13% Neo
7% Kucoin Shares
10% other coins—- Omg, Algo, Band, knc, Zrx, Atom, TLR, Shift

How does it look? What is missing except Ethereum?

Your portfolio doesn't look bad and for me, this is an okay portfolio. The line up you have for this stash does seem to be fine. I'm telling it because you have more percentage for bitcoin. It is what matters most and depends to the altcoin of your choice.
About Ethereum, do you plan to add it or not?

4417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: withdraw problem..please help! will pay for help! on: August 30, 2020, 11:41:53 PM
Everyone is in need of help in someway or the other, even the people you present cases to for solution are in need of help. State the direction in which the help is required, I can assure you loads of experienced persons are here on this platform to render more than needed assistance.
It's been a month since the thread has been posted. I don't think that op is still in need of help. And lately, there were scams out there that they're trying to ask for help.
But the fact is that they'll try to reverse the situation. I don't know how exactly what's going to happen but, I've read that from someone who has posted the same scenario when he tried to help someone asking for help. It's ok to help but also be cautious.
4418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Y series trends... What do you think? on: August 30, 2020, 10:58:26 PM
It is their responsibility to check and research about it. The trend is particularly fearing if it keeps on pumping, there is a tendency that there will be a sudden dump. The lesser supply will give an idea to those developers that this is what the investors what and they'll start to FOMO.
I guess we're about to see the ballooning of such projects that are inspired by these yfi trend.
4419  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Bitseno.com ⭐ Bringing Crash to Real Life (online & in-house gambling) ⭐ on: August 30, 2020, 10:17:33 PM
It welcomed me with the domain is for sale. Is it already on your side and you have purchased it already? While the description looks good. I think you need to work on it first before giving some descriptions of what it will be like. I agree with them who are telling that it's empty and you should walk the talk.
And the first move is to have your website prepared even with the theme or design first if it's not yet fully functional but in your case, the website tells that it's not yet yours or what?

"Bitseno.com" was purchased the other day, we own it, it's simply sitting awaiting to link to the site once it's complete and ready for the public. I have already mentioned to my developer since the last reply I made to create a "coming soon" page. Smiley

4420  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest winner during COVID? on: August 30, 2020, 09:39:32 PM
The biggest winner during COVID-19 is health services and e-commerce based platform. In this predicament, people are cognizant of their health so hospitals are amassing much and online marketing is being prominent day by day because of the lockdown situations. So I assume these two types of services are the winner.
IT infrastructure and businesses were also a winner but let's look into the e-commerce. The e-commerce giant, Amazon has doubled its profit during the pandemic.
And this is just recent, look what happened to Jeff Bezos.
Jeff Bezos Becomes The First Person Ever Worth $200 Billion
Jeff Bezos is now worth a whopping $200 billion
Yeah e-commerce had been mentioned aside from health services which its no surprise that its included in the list for those industries that are raking profits now due to this pandemic situation. We are embracing the new normal which would really need up some major changes and its normal for these industries to be on high demand. So whats the issue if they are gaining revenues now and the rest are kissing to the floor or had already
closed its doors and file bankruptcy. This had always been the normal outcome of a business neither you do succeed or fail and of course current condition will really be a big or great factor on that.
On health field its understandable but to know that those people working on that field has double risk on their own health.
I don't think that wearing mask is a major change or even wearing face shields. As for bringing alcohol all the time, I have it on my bag even before the pandemic happens. But you are actually right about the risk that the health workers are facing. They should be given priority and consideration even the simplest form that they will appreciate. And for the industries who have remained operating and survived during this pandemic, they are one of the luckiest industries to remain on its form.
