Being a champion is paying up.  Grin
Unlike veterans which are just given $5m per year. With him it takes a lot of money because of the ring.
~
It sure does. Iguodala's manager/agent knows how to leverage his client's past achievements. He is also well rested now and his championship experience could help his new team come playoff time but I still think the Miami Heat is taking a huge gamble also here IMO. But hey, who knows if they can be able to knock off one of the East's favorites (Celtics, Bucks, 76ers, Toronto).

Miami do have young guys and I think Iguodala will suit them well.
Giving them a veteran perspective and everything he knew about defense.
I still cannot believe how Iggy changed from a high flying offensive guy to a defensive one.
He is definitely a valuable piece for GSW back then.

There is a fire going on and coals are being filled in.

https://clutchpoints.com/grizzlies-news-ja-morant-reacts-to-the-end-of-andre-iguodala-chapter-after-trade-to-heat/

Ja Morant cannot wait for Iggy to be traded so that they can show what Grizzlies is about.
Then Curry comes back defending his guy.  Grin Read it. (the part about Curry though is not there, you can google it)
4402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull and bear market. on: February 06, 2020, 06:38:22 AM
Some may look at it that it is always the bull where traders do win.
Not at all.
They also need the bear market. There is always a selling point. Now the entry is point is the bear market.
But finding the right time is the difficult part.
A coin could fall way down to unexpected and if there is no more hype that is happening it could be left there for a long time.
Much better to stay with the volatile types.
4403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 06, 2020, 04:19:16 AM
I guess they are only worsening their lineup with this experiment. P.J Tucker is way too undersized to be on the center position. Any team could easily dominate them from the paint. Capela was a good piece and additional strength from their defense. I don't know how the Rockets would engage Covington and Bell in their rotation. Rockets need bigmen, specially when Harden and WB is making a lot of fg attempts, they need someone to grab offensive rebounds. Anyway, too early to judge their lineup, let's just see the outcome.

Rockets will now play a small lineup. I don't see anything wrong but that was a gamble.

We don't know what Rockets are thinking. To the point that they gave up Capela, as we all know how important this guy's role on the team, looks like Rockets are gambling here or maybe they are cooking "something" for the future.

I agree that it's too early to tell if that move will be worst or not. Let's see how they will execute their offense and defense from now on without or minimizing the numbers on the paint.

This is how Mike D'Antoni works.
Speed and offense.
I guess he just want to maximize that kind of strategy.
I am still worried about the defense but it looks like they want head to head with offense. As long as they can shoot the ball for every possession then it wont be a problem.

They score 2 he will score 3 using Harden or Westbrook. They will just wait until the other team makes an error.
I want to see though how they will stop centers like Jokic with this kind of roster.
4404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless? on: February 06, 2020, 02:48:16 AM
Is it a flaw or is it just abused?
The problem here is how people think and not the technology offered to you.

God made a fruit which is forbidden to eat but yet we are still that hard headed being a human and ate the forbidden fruit.
That will never end.
If at the beginning, the real purpose is to scam then there will be other ways and not just thru ERC20. They will always find ways.
4405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 the year of Bitcoin technology getting accepted by governments on: February 06, 2020, 01:35:19 AM
Blockchain will be the one which will be adapted and not bitcoin.
I don't think they agree with decentralization and freedom of the people to just use it or store it without anyone knowing how much.
If they don't sign any address in their profile or created a new address then it is kept from taxation.

Do you really think a government would like that?
Where will the Senators get their salary if there is not much tax?
At what way will they steal money from the people if there is no tax coming in?  Grin
4406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 05, 2020, 12:12:29 PM
For some NBA transfer/swap deals, there are reports that the Timberwolves, Hawks, Rockets and Nuggets have reached a four-team deal.

Here's how it looks according to this article

Quote
The Wolves are said to be shipping Robert Covington, Jordan Bell and a 2nd-round pick to Houston; with Clint Capela and Nene on to Atlanta; Keita Bates-Diop, Shabazz Napier, Noah Vonleh, Gerald Green and a Houston 1st-round pick to Denver; as well as Malik Beasley, Juancho Hernangomez, Jarred Vanderbilt, Evan Turner and a 1st-round pick (Atlanta via Brooklyn) heading to Minnesota.

What do you guys think of this four-team deal?

It looks like Rockets is really going for a small ball this time but I don't know how that will work for them with Harden on the ball most of the time. The clear winner for me is Atlanta for getting some reliable bigs but it's probably too late for them this season. Denver has a strong squad already and might have added more depth that will probably help them during playoffs.

I think this favors the Atlanta too, they are shipping Capela who's been the key for their success in the playoffs, man, this guy is so consistent in the playoffs, he can score and block shots that's why they very effective, I don't know what would happen to the Rockets after this, what I am seeing is that they are trying to build a shitty team now.

Yeah, I would not trade Capela. He is like the savior down the rim whenever Harden cannot find a way to shoot the ball when he penetrates.
He will just throw it up and Capela will come flying.
What could be the Houston management thinking.
Now it will be Trae who will have a good option underneath. He can do hesitation moves or just lob it to Clint.  Wink
But it needs a lot of chemistry to be done.
Maybe next year will be Hawks best season.
4407  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 WEEKLY COMPETITIONS, fast bets BTC LTC ETH DOGE on: February 05, 2020, 10:39:38 AM
The lottery would not be a bad idea however instead of winning money/bitcoins you should make it interesting. Basically I wouldn't do the lottery for a "Lambo" because for one its very expensive and would take forever to sell the required number of tickets but why not do it for a more desirable car like a Tesla Model 3.

Its much cheaper, the regulations should be easier to deal with since its the opposite of a gas guzzler and everyone is crazy about Tesla now since their stock price went parabolic.

The Model 3 is about $35K, so you can make the tickets $10 each and would only need to sell 3500 tickets to get the lottery complete. Should really bring in the hype for Yolodice.

Just my opinion.

Basically a good idea but in case of winning the car, one has to tell their real name etc and most (almost all) people on YD want to stay anon and its a world wide community, depending where you are regulations to drive/own a car like that plus transport is not always uncomplicated. IMHO

Still rooting for KENO Cheesy

True. You can see almost all names are hidden.
They don't want to be known by their wives.  Grin Just kidding. A car would be a big question.
Then, there will be taxes to pay if the winner will be in a different country. More payments.
Cash is still a no go. Needs a lot of information. I will stay with crypto payment.

Keno for me too.

4408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 05, 2020, 07:54:49 AM
@Harkorede, that's a lot of parlay, I think you are fun of betting parlay than per game. nice to see you are posting your bets.

I have a specific bankroll for singles and parlays differently, My singles are almost always fixed with a specific amount and not done often except I feel heavily confident about a pick, but in parlay I could split my bankroll into 4-5 places to increase my chances of hitting one.

Parlays are risky but it's fun,.. I also put but not as many as your parlays you have shared here.
Good luck on your bet tonight, I am riding the same pick, Nuggets let's win again and show the Lillard that he can't continue dropping 50 points.

Congratulations to us.
That is some game they showed us.
28 point lead. I don't think any handicap can handle that much.  Grin
Love my Nuggets.
Jokic is freaking great at the bottom of the rim.
Banging Whiteside and doing some acrobatic moves and then suddenly shooting threes. What the hell?!!
Dude is not even jumping so he saves a lot of energy.

A full 4th quarter garbage time. Wow!
4409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: February 05, 2020, 04:43:45 AM
Here are few methods that online scammers use to scam people till date due to lack of not knowing

1. KYC Fraud

Behold, Any body can just contact you claiming they are bank executives or customer service officer from your bank and asked you to share details to complete KYC, they will actually first tell you that your account isn't safe anymore, this have proven to works on innocent people most times.

This one is what I mostly avoid when joining ICO or other type of investment.
You will fill up a form including everything about you and then what?
They will use it for different purposes.
One is using it in different ICO's. Using your name to find it unique but their address for the payment of whatever coins it is.

Another is what you said, claiming they are in the law business and then asking for permission to open your accounts.
I think they can still fool someone else with that specially those new in those kind of business.
4410  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN HALVING 2020 on: February 05, 2020, 02:02:10 AM

I doubt that will happen.
They just wont.
There is a hype now and everyone wants to explain how the halving affects the price of bitcoin.
Yes, it is just all about the price and not the value of bitcoin.

Will it really be valuable because of the scarcity or will it just be another food for those who can manipulate the price with high amounts stocked in their wallets? What will it be?
4411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 05, 2020, 01:22:16 AM
It is known that Luka is one of the pillars of Dallas and that's why every time he's not on the watch, we used to think that they can easily be beaten.

I think of the opposite. I'm not one of those people who thinks Dallas Mavericks is a team that can easily beat without Luka Doncic. How come we can think of that way if, at some of their games, we can see that they are performing well even without Doncic on the floor. They can still give a close fight to whatever teams. And Porzingis is doing great while Luka is out.

Might be a tricky to other gamblers in terms of odds distributions at some of their games as we can still see a ( - ) points given for Mavericks even Luka is out.
Yeah, I see that most of the time. Even when  stars are injured the odds it not affected at all.
I think they don't rely with that or Vegas don't.
It will be a punch to the nose of the coach if that is how they calculate winning odds.  Grin

We have seen it already and way too much.
Also, Luka doesn't play the whole 48 minutes of the game. There are times when the lead of Dallas came from the 2nd stringers of the team.

4412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Correct to $6,500? on: February 04, 2020, 02:19:17 PM
It can happen but I don't really want to be pessimistic when there is an event that is going to happen.
It is not going to be a correction but a full of people dumping their bitcoin with the same thought as you.

You are not alone who want to sell their bitcoin.
Some long term traders there might be getting ready to do that.
I hope not.
If there is a lot of profit for a large of number of people who are trading then I bet it will be one full wave of a dump.
4413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 04, 2020, 09:47:50 AM
Spurs almost get an upset win in LA, but good thing they cover the spread. lol

That was a good game, it was close especially in the 4th quarter and LA Clippers doing the quality of the champion team where they know how to come back when in big deficit. My player of the game in this match is Paul George, he is a big time player that makes big time shots when needed.

What an exciting game it is.

It was the 3rd quarter where Spurs made a lot of error and the lead was cut too much until Clippers made it to the front.
But still the Spurs gave them a good fight despite playing at LA home.
Paul George gained a news highlight for that monster reverse lay up. That is deep.  Grin

Is DeRozan changing the way he shoot? It looks like it is arching way high.
4414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Money System Worked? on: February 04, 2020, 08:33:03 AM
I could only think about gold and silver.
I guess I am not that old enough.  Grin
Is there another type of money that worked before?

Bartering is also one of the option but it is trade from an item to another with with two group or two persons.
I don't think it can be called as money though. But they sure did work before. Only watched it in history channel and they are still doing it with events.
4415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 04, 2020, 03:07:42 AM
I feel like D'lo would still be superior to Wiggins when it comes to GSW, not for every team, for example I would put Wiggins over D'lo in current rockets if they were up there, but for warriors system the player who has a better shooting is actually more important. They built the whole system in such a way that even Durant became a spot up shooter after a certain while, that means D'lo is more valuable to warriors specially when Klay is gone.

If I understand about basketball even a bit, when Klay comes back he might actually transition to Small Forward a bit more, with Curry at PG and D'lo at SG, he will be perfect for SF when he comes back, plus he will be a bit slower so it will be harder for him to keep defending the guards of the other team as well.

Klay don't have any difficulties playing at either SG and SF. In the Warriors system, actually this position is just a position meaning anyone here can be placed. Durant even playing SF covers the PF to Center position during his stay here.

For the rumors, I doubt Warriors will trade D'Lo for Wiggins but they can offer something. Wiggins+D'Lo will be a good backcourt duo especially when Klay and Steph got back. No need to trade D'Lo as he is now familiar with Kerr's system.

Those are some good points there.
Yeah, although I want Wiggins in but it looks like it wont happen.
There is no problem with the contract since they have almost the same cap.

But if we all do remember it correctly, they took DLo as an ace for a better trade.
Is Wiggins that better trade which GSW is looking for?
No, I don't think so. The GSW management might be looking for a superstar and will just add up some space for whoever it will be.
4416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins do you Hold ? on: February 04, 2020, 01:53:54 AM
Bitcoin is always the first choice. (Should) No doubts.
Ethereum is next. Mandatory for me.
BNB might not be in good shape but who know what could happen if it hits another popular hype.  Grin

It had been 2 years since the last good price of NEO. 2 years man. You should really update yourself from everything for now.
There might be a lot of changes that happened from when you started.
4417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 04, 2020, 01:02:08 AM

Dallas over 103 @ 1.8
53 at halftime. They will need a good 2nd half for them to hit that number.
Sabonis is having a good night and if Indiana defense works then it will be difficult for Dallas to get there.

76ers over 104 @ 1.81

All sums up to 10.4 odds...

Good luck to everyone.
Now this might happen. Embiid already got 11 and 1st quarter ain't even over yet.
Whew! It is an exciting night.
4418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We share success stories on: February 03, 2020, 02:46:55 PM
All I can say is "Great!".

You have kept all those when you trade?
I didn't even thought of having a printscreen of everything.
If I won the trade I jump in happiness and I don't care about having a proof of what I did.
So I really envy those who still have the mindset of making a proof of what they have really earned.

Good luck on your next trades.
My first one was with Ethereum. Sorry I don't have the proof anymore, I use to do it at etherdelta and idex but not anymore.
4419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 03, 2020, 02:09:34 PM
Ethereum had been one of my real favorites when talking about altcoins.
I can see the fruits now.
From $130 at the time of my buy rate and now at $180+ and it ain't stopping.
There might be a hype that is happening but we can make a use of it.
Maybe I will sell it at $250. I don't really know if it is going to reach it but who knows, maybe it will.
4420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 03, 2020, 11:04:05 AM
Maybe they consider Wiggins but for sure it will not come since they know DLo is more valuable to keep and the one they really need is a true center which can held on their defensive side.
For me, I would choose Wiggins over DLO due to the fact that Wiggins plays good defense and he is also a legit scorer if given an opportunity.

I'd say I have the same thought after reading this.
When we talking about offense, GSW already have that.
They are just both injured.
But when it comes to defense, all I can think about is Draymond and Klay.
I think we all remember the last time when they fought against the Rockets. They keep on switching Klay over Curry when he is being forced to defend Harden.
He cannot do anything about it.
Now, if there is a chance to get a player with both skills then it will be a win for the GSW side since they really need someone who can play at both end.
